Ariana Grande was recently papped having some New York fun with ex-beau, Ricky Alvarez.

The pair were spotted out and about in the Big Apple, which sparked the Internet to speculate that they could be more than just friends.  

But are they actually getting back together? Probably not.

The singer has reiterated that she is remaining a single lady in 2019.

Taking to Twitter just two days ago, Ari tweeted: "Spoiler for the rest of this year / probably my life: it’s no one. Please refer back to this tweet for future questions."

Besides, Ariana and Ricky have always had a solid friendship since their break-up in 2016. 

We would be genuinely shookth if they did reignite the flame, as Thank U, Next proved that any love between them is just friendly.

To refresh your memory: "Wrote some songs about Ricky, Now I listen and laugh."

Fans were also quick to defend their friendship as rumours swirled.

One said: "Just because Ariana is hanging out with ricky it doesn’t mean they are gonna get back together.. in the words of miss Grande: 'Believe it or not women can be friends with people with dicks and not hop on them'” – AMEN.

We are hoping that 2019 will be an easier year for Ari, whether she finds love or not.

As for this rumour, we'll be saying Thank U, Next.

When we thought we couldn't love Ariana Grande more – she continues to blow us away.

Reportedly, the singer had politely declined a Damehood because she thought it might be 'insensitive'.

According to The Sun, after the tragic attack which claimed the lives of 22 people, Ariana thought it was "too soon" to accept the Damehood since families were still the midst of grieving.

A source told the publication: “Ariana was flattered but said it was too soon."

"She explained she was still grieving. So were scores of families."

An additional source also confirmed that Ari turned down the offer, to the newspaper, saying: “She was deeply moved and honoured. She didn’t decline it as such but explained it was not the right time to accept.”

Here's hoping that she will become a Dame later down the line, as her benefit concert, One Love Manchester raised over £17 million for the victims' families.

Just when we thought the singer was out of surprises, she gave us one more.

Cardi B revealed she has a HUSBAND.

Rumours had been circulating for the last year that the couple had wed, but yesterday the Queen of rap confirmed the news on Twitter.

The 25-year-old reportedly had a no-frills ceremony when she married her boyfriend and baby's father, Offset.

"There are so many moments that I share with the world and there are moments that I want to keep for myself! Getting married was one of those moments!" she tweeted earlier this week.

In a lengthy post, the singer revealed the two have been husband and wife since September 2017. 

The decision to tie the knot came one morning and the rest, as they say, is history. 

"We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin. I said I do, with no dress, no makeup and no ring!" she explained.

For all you die heart fans, you may be scratching your head about their very public proposal in October 2017.

Which we now know was AFTER they were reportedly wed.

The mum-to-be addressed Offset getting down on one knee by saying:

"I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!"

The not-so-newlyweds are expecting their first child together.

They are reportedly having a baby girl.

In true Cardi B style, the queen finished her tweet with:

"Well now since you lil nosey f–ks know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock."
