While her slim frame is often declared “body goals” by fans, many believe Kate Wright’s latest pics are simply too good to be true.

The TOWIE star has been accused of digitally manipulating her waist to make it appear slimmer than it naturally is after she posted two enviable photos of herself dressed in black on Instagram.

Yesterday, the 24-year-old shared an image of herself posing in a fitted velvet dress which appears to wrap around her waist, while highlighting her décolletage.

The image was quickly littered with comments like “Her bod is insane” and “Need that waist” but many social media users remained unconvinced that Kate’s trim figure was actually her own.

One user wrote: “Naturally beautiful and great figure there was no need to photoshop your waist (sic).”

To which Kate replied: “I don’t photo shop any of my photos thank you (sic).”

A second picture was posted to the same account days earlier and shows the reality star in a Halloween inspired outfit.

Again, Kate’s waist is the centre of discussion in the photograph’s comment section.

John Mayer never had a problem attracting the ladies, no matter what weight he was!

But friends of the singer are worried that he has dropped way too many pounds, and fear he has gone too far with his weight loss since splitting from Katy Perry a few months ago.

Jennifer Aniston and Taylor Swift’s ex was looking noticeably slimmer than usual as he arrived for a flight out of LAX on Friday,

We hope the Your Body Is A Wonderland singer is OK! He does look like he could do with a proper meal!

Following controversy recently when her husband Professor Green branded her as “thinspiration” on Instagram, Millie Mackintosh has spoken out.

Millie appeared on Loose Women where she stuck up for her husband and defended her healthy lifestyle: “He was clearly taking the mickey out of me for posting the picture of myself nearly naked. I’m obviously not his thinspiration … I think anyone that looked at that picture would not say I was anorexic or looked anorexic … I’m really into the gym and a healthy lifestyle and I’m always promoting that on my Twitter and Instagram. If you generally follow my Instagram you’ll see I am constantly hashtagging ‘strong not skinny,’ posting loads of pictures of food. ”

Do you think the reaction to Pro Green’s comments were an overreaction?

The mere thought of eating high-calorie food can boost your metabolism, according to research.

Scientists have claimed your metabolism speeds up when you believe you are eating something very indulgent and high in calories – regardless of how fattening it actually is.

Apparently, our metabolisms slow down when we we eat something our bodies believe to be low in calories.

Psychologist Alia Crum, at Columbia Business School in New York, conducted a ‘Milkshake Study’ to test this theory.

Dr Crum measured levels of the ‘hunger hormone’ – ghrelin – before and after a group of people drank a milkshake.

She gave each participant the same 380 calorie milkshake but half were labelled as containing 620 calories, while the other half were said to contain 140 calories.

Dr Crum discovered that people who drank the ‘high-calorie’ milkshake saw their ghrelin levels drop three times as quickly as those of the people who thought they were drinking low-calorie milkshakes.

The ghrelin hormone not only makes people feel hunger, it also influences the speed of metabolism.

The study suggested that it’s not just actual calorie consumption, but also perceived calorie consumption, that influences the body’s level of the hormone and, in turn, our metabolism rate.

If you don’t want to spend hours working out when trying to achieve a thinner face, you don’t have to.

You can skip all that and get that chiselled look in the snap of a finger – for a few hours anyway.

With the right tools and techniques, you can  minimise roundness in your face by applying a technique called ‘contouring.’

  • Get yourself a matte bronzer that is three or four shades darker than your skin tone and a flathead brush.
  • To contour, make a ‘fish face’ and apply the product in the shape of the number ‘3,’ starting from the side of your forehead to under your cheekbones and then backwards from the cheekbone to your jawline.
  • By contouring these areas you are minimising roundness and creating a shadow that will make your cheekbone stand out more.

This simple process only takes seconds and does wonders for your face.
