A loved-up Cat Deeley debuts her TINY baby bump on the red carpet
There’s no doubt that last night’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards were a wholly glamorous affair – and none more so than for TV presenter Cat Deeley.
The star hit the red carpet with her Irish husband Patrick Kielty at the swish LA event, debuting her tiny baby bump in a gorgeous streamlined embellished gown from Mugler.
The 38-year-old teamed the €3,000 dress, which also boasts a generous side slit to the thigh, with silver strappy sandals and a black box clutch, but kept her accessories simple with drop earrings.
Patrick, 44, was evidently eager to show his wife off too; he took to Instagram to share a black and white snap of the duo en route to the event in their chauffeur-driven car.
“About to walk this amazing woman up the red carpet,” he wrote, adding in the hashtags: #WifeNominated #HusbandAlreadyAWinner
Ms Deeley herself also shared her own image: a loved-up photo of her and her husband holding hands on the red-carpet while laughing warmly.
“Giggles for two… plus one…” she said – alluding to the pair’s forthcoming arrival.
Taking to Twitter earlier this month, Cat revealed her pregnancy with a touching message.
“Exciting news,” she gushed. “Paddy and I are so happy to be expecting our first child in the spring… Lucky us.”
An on-off couple – as well as firm friends – for years, Patrick and Cat married in a secret ceremony in Rome in 2012.
At the Emmys, she had been nominated for an award for her work on So You Think You Can Dance – a show she has successfully fronted since 2006.
However, she ultimately lost out to Hollywood Game Night star Jane Lynch, who walked away with the gong.
Recently, Patrick had joked that he hoped the baby would inherit his thick Co Down twang.
“I hope any child we might have has Cat’s looks and my accent,” he told the Birmingham Mail.
