The 'spice bag' has gained major popularity in the past year or so. So much popularity in fact, that is has its own Facebook appreciation page for all the devotees in Ireland.

Now, Irish icon Mr Tayto is incorporating the flavour into his staple crisp.

Back in February, Tayto asked the public to decide their new limited-edition flavour – the contenders included Spice Bag, Sunday Roast, Breakfast Roll and Curry sauce.

News has just reached our ears that Spice Bag came out on top as the most popular flavour, and now your fave takeaway taste is available in crisp form.

It won by a landslide, with a whopping 51% of the votes. 

The winning flavour will be stocked as a limited edition in stores nationwide.
