The Michael Kors beauty range has only just started to make ripples over here and honestly doesn’t get enough love – it’s available in Arnotts and online. The brand’s limited edition Glow Colour Collection for spring 2015 features a new Hydrating Bronze Gel Crème; vibrant colours for nails and lips, bronzer, and a dry oil spray to achieve the iconic Michael Kors sun-kissed glow. My pick? Definitely the nail lacquers in Blush, Daydreamer and Paradise – they’re incredibly long lasting.

L’Oréal Infallible is a new modern matte foundation that looks set to rival some of our high-end favourites. There’s also a matching primer; both are lightweight, melting formulas that glide and fuse onto skin and lends flawless coverage. It’s just €11.99 from all good pharmacies!

Estée Lauder is a great brand for basics – their Double Wear range is particularly reliable for those of us who don’t have time for touch-ups. Featuring the same beloved formula, the newly updated Double Wear Stay-In-Place Eye Pencils now include a water-resistant claim, a silicone smudge tip and an updated collection of shades.

MAC have long been known for teaming up with designers to create amazing collections, so it’s fantastic to see that their latest collaboration is with an Irish name.  Philip Treacy is their artist of choice for spring 2015 – catch the collection at Brown Thomas from April.

Their new mascara that promises to hook, lift and curl lashes, Benefit Roller Lash is beautifully packaged, but bloody expensive at €26. After trialing it extensively, though, I do think it’s worth investing in if you’re sick of overly dramatic, clumpy mascaras. This one is definitely lifting and separating, and the formula seems to get better with age!

It may be spring but it's still snowing in a lot of places and almost everyone seems to be still suffering with colds and flus.

While buying all of the new wardrobe trends for a season can be a expensive and almost pointless task, when it comes to beauty trends you can always be in style!

Many of these beauty trends for spring 2015 can be easily done with what you already have on your make-up shelf.

Wing it
Black eyeliner and flicks are still bang on trend for spring 2015 so don't give up this YouTube tutorials just yet! From light lines to full-on cat flicks, it's time to stock up on the black stuff!

Fishtail with a difference
If you have just about perfected the fishtail plait but find it always comes undone and looks like you've back combed it by 12pm then fear not because you are on the right track! This season's plait is big, messy and bold!

Minimal make-up
This season's runways were all about the bare face. Calvin Klein's models pulled this off best with an almost bare faced ethereal look. While we would love to believe that hopping out of bed and out the door would render us 'on trend' we have a sneaking suspicion that a lot of effort actually goes into the 'naked' make-up look. Sigh…a girl can dream!

Bold crimson lips
We're not sure if Taylor Swift has had anything to do with these beauty trends but red lips are staying where they are ahead of the style game.

Statement nails
We love the nail art that is coming into its own this season. Pastels, shapes and minimal appearance, add some gold lines for a serious statement nail.

Looks like it’s time to get those shoulders out, ladies!

Off-the-shoulder looks have become a staple of spring fashion so far this season.

Wearing your top or dress off-the-shoulder is a demure and feminine touch to any look .

Our favourite celebs are also following the trend including Kendall Jenner, Olivia Wilde, Miranda Kerr and Scarlett Johansson.

Scarlett and Olivia show how chic the off-the-shoulder look can be as an evening look while Miranda and Kendall demonstrate a more daytime, casual way to wear the off-the-shoulder trend.
