Having previously launched a streetwear line and shoe collection, Zayn Malik is no stranger to the world of fashion, but his latest endeavour within the industry is bound to set his star soaring.

According to The New York Times, the former 1D member recently caught the attention of Donatella Versace who has chosen to team up and design a clothing line with the young singer.

Having met the Bradford-native during London Fashion Week, Donatella admitted she was pleasantly surprised by the relationship he shared with Gigi Hadid as well as his enthusiasm for fashion.

"I met him again when he started to date Gigi, who I work with all the time. And he impressed me very much –  he was so mature, so thoughtful, treated her like such a gentleman," Donatella told The Times.

"They are very nice young people, a lovely couple, in fact. And then he told me how much he loved fashion. It was then I knew he was the right face for what I had in mind."

Commenting on the capsule collection,  Zayn X Versus, which will hit stores in May of next year, the acclaimed designer insisted that the project goes far beyond the standard celeb collaboration.

"Many celebrities do clothing lines that just aren't relevant," she added. "This one? It will be. He's smart to do it with me."

And Zayn sounds equally excited at the prospect of working with one of the most famous people in the industry.

"The bonus is that I get to collaborate with Donatella, whom I love and admire. I know we'll create something amazing."

Something tells us they may be on to a good thing with this one.

Whether she’s dressed in high street or high end attire, Kate Middleton always manages to land a spot on our best dressed list.

Stepping out for World Mental Health Day, the Duchess of Cambridge was snapped today wearing a stunning floral chiffon dress of Kate Spade design.

The mother of two paired the pink number – which features a collared bow tie neck and dark buttons to the front – with a set of nude heels and a matching clutch.

According to katespade.com, the Encore Rose Chiffon Dress retails for $498 (around €450) and is still available for purchase online in a range of sizes.

But since the “Kate Middleton Effect” is bound to hit soon, we’d advise buying this dress ASAP.

You might have some chance of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but these days it’s harder than ever to keep track of Kylie Jenner’s hair.

While often opting for vibrant colours like blue and green, the reality star’s latest look is that bit more subtle as it’s now a pastel shade of rose gold.

Using social media to tease her freshly dyed tresses, yesterday the 19-year-old posted a photo of herself pouting in a ripped tee and spotted jacket to Instagram.

But since the young entrepreneur was quick to delete the pic, we can't guarantee she’ll be holding on to her new candy-colour.

Look, we're no stranger to the odd fashion faux pas.

From accidentally flashing our cleavage to forgetting to pull up our zipper, there's rarely a day goes by when we don't question ourselves and our ability to properly dress ourselves.

But when it comes down to choosing our clothes, we generally avoid any garments that might suggest we're packing some serious heat in the crotch department… for obvious reasons.

Unfortunately, the news hasn't reached one particular clothing line who chose to design a pair of leggings adorned with the world's most famous landmarks

So far, so educational right?

And it would be if they hadn't decided to position the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the crotch area of the damn pants.

Remember when you and your loved ones almost came to blows over THAT dress?

Blue, black, white, gold – at this stage no one really cares, and that's not because we've above fighting over the colour of certain items, but because we've found a new one to focus on.

It all started when Twitter user, corso, took to social media earlier this week to pay tribute to her stunning new Kate Spade bag.

After writing "Everyone say hello to my new baby", one of corso's followers commented on the colour… only to realise he wasn't seeing the same colour as the bag's new owner.

And Twitter is now in meltdown.

1. We had this guy fearing the worst

2. This gal laying it on the line

3. This guy getting super technical

4. This guy getting flashbacks

5. And then we had this girl… telling it like it is.

Blue or white, personally we just want the bag.

I’ll admit, I’m basically always on the prowl for outfit inspo.

Whether it’s in the office, out on the streets of Dublin or online, if I see pieces I like, I’ll immediately start thinking how I can make it work for me.

And while my main source of inspiration is definitely people I see walking by in town, another major source is famous folk.

Let’s be real, I can’t dress like a star everyday. Hell, I don’t feel like getting dressed at all some days.

But when it comes down to it, how easy is it to dress like a celeb? Can I pull off the same looks that they do? Will it cost much and will I be comfortable?

These are all questions I’m asking myself as I take on the task of Dressing Like A Celeb.

So, to get to it, this week I decided to dress like Cara Delevingne and this is how I got on.

Now, I’m not saying I have her body (obvs) and it feels like I’m a full person shorter than her, but I went for some outfits that, I think, looked totally UNREAL on her.

First of all, I decided to go for Cara’s looks in her new Puma campaign. Of course, she looks like an absolute beaut with rock hard abs…but would I look just as good? I tried it out.

OK, so no. Cara’s new take on sporty leggings/underwear just looks like I forgot to pull my trousers up (I also didn't have the balls to wear a crop top). While I love the River Island hoodie, and the Life Style Sports leggings are super comfy, trying to look like Cara did not work out well with this one.

And who am I kidding anyway, I go to the gym about… Never… I never go to the gym.

Cara – 1 / Me – 0

So, since the sporty look didn’t work out too well, for the next look I opted for something a bit more classy and covered-up.

It took a few tries but eventually I got the scarf where I needed it. I also put my hair up in two buns like Cara did.

Cara wore the black cut-out jumpsuit with a green tie around her waist. I wore a black top and trousers, both from River Island, and tried to wrap a green scarf around my waist.

I usually wouldn’t go for anything like this if I was going out myself, but I ended up LOVING this look.

At first, I feared I would look like a little green alien child but it actually turned out OK.

I’m super happy with this look and it's an outfit that would be really comfy on a night out too! Win, win.

Cara – 1 / Me – 1

Now, when I saw Cara wear the next outfit, for some reason I was totally drawn into it. It literally looked like she grabbed a Sharpie marker and drew a black line down her neck.

Something a three-year-old would do, yes, but when Cara did it, it was fierce.

I have no doubt that Cara had a team of make-up artists behind her on this one, so when I got my black marker out, I was shaking like a leaf.

What if it smudges? What if I make it look crooked? What if I get it on my boobs?!

I took a deep breath, and began. And it was graaand.

Cara wore a v-neck black dress, and I tried to match it with this River Island velvet number. I loved the dress, and thought it was very ‘Cara’ but I’ll pass on the big black line (and no bra). I think it makes me look like I have a bobble head – and that’s not attractive.

I’m not going to say this look totally worked, because it didn’t, but the dress was a good fit for me, and I’ll definitely be wearing it during party season.

Total: Cara – 1 ½ / Me – 1 ½

In the end, I realised that no, I can’t 100 percent dress like a celeb and get away with it. But, I have learned that if you just give an outfit your own little twist, you’re good to go.

This isn’t over yet, though. I’ll be on the prowl for more celebrity looks to steal. Watch this space.

If there’s one thing I’m obsessed with, it’s other women’s hair.

Or – more specifically – why my hair doesn’t look like other women’s hair.

Ever since first taking to the stylist’s swivel chair over 25 years ago, I’ve been assured that I've "fine hair… but lots of it.”

And it was this ongoing assessment which led me to alternate between wispy shoulder-length styles and short blunt cuts for the best part of two decades.

I have – since the age of four – rocked the Bob, the Rachel, the Spock, the Pob and the Chickenball (don’t ask), and each and every style was a vain attempt to conceal the fact my hair – after a certain point – simply refuses to grow.

Or increase in volume.

So, when Victoria Beckham stepped out rocking the now infamous Pob back in 2006, I thought my prayers had been answered.

The cropped look at the back would suggest a thickness I didn’t actually possess while the contrast between that and the front might fool people into thinking I was one of those women with thick hair who opted to rock a short style.

And for six years, and long after Victoria had moved on from the look, I soldiered on with it.

Until I realised my decision to rock an out-of-date Pob was the equivalent of a middle-aged man opting for the mullet of his youth, that is.

So, out went the Pob and in came more than five years of miniscule pony tails, multiple hair grips, countless vitamins, clip on extensions and genuine envy over those girls whose hair continues to increase in length and depth even after reaching *that* crucial point.

And I couldn’t take it anymore.

After years of threatening to get extensions, I recently decided that if I didn’t go for it now, I never would… and frankly I don’t think anyone (including myself) could put up with my moaning for a minute longer.

I mean, there was an answer to my conundrum, it was there for the taking and yet I was refusing to make the leap.

If I’m honest, I think my reticence stemmed from a fear that I would walk into a salon with my humble 11 strands and leave looking like a Barbarella reject – waist-length, back-combed and with all the subtlety of a boot up the arse.

I wanted to rock thicker hair with a little added length, and I wanted that to do without looking like I had endured a MAJOR overhaul.

Simply put, I wanted extensions which suggested I had just gotten an incredible blow-dry, and, thankfully, last Friday Easilocks provided me with exactly that.

Put in the capable hands of Store Street stylist, Leanne, I lamented my lack of ‘boomph’, compared my fringe to a barcode and raged over how wispy my ends were.

Instead of focussing on what I didn’t have, Leanne suggested we turn our attention to what I specifically wanted, and after I explained that volume was more important than length (but I wouldn’t say no to a few more inches) she got to work.

Ninety minutes and 100 pieces of 14 inch lengths later, I had the hair I lusted over during morning commutes, girlie lunches and nights on the town.

Perfectly matched to my own colour, pre-bonded human hair was applied to my own –  not with glue or heat – but with the help of an Easilock which was then sealed in place with an applicator tool.

And instead of looking like someone who had opted for a massive makeover, I looked exactly like myself but with the best version of my own hair.

Thicker, slightly longer and with a loose wave at the end, you’d be hard-pressed to suggest I only had fine hair, but lots of it.

Oh, I had thick hair… and lots of it, damn it.

The cynic in me, however, feared that I may have been blinded by my own love for the locks and had, perhaps, undergone a bigger overhaul than I might have thought.

Deciding to conduct a little experiment, I ‘conveniently forgot’ to tell some friends I had made the leap before meeting them later that night.

While hands instantly reached out to touch my barnet and enquiries were made into my blow-dry and curling technique, nobody roared the word ‘extensions’ at me from across the bar.

It was only further scrutiny, my over-eager grin and my ever-reddening cheeks that gave the game away, but suffice to say my mission was accomplished.

I’m finally the owner of longer, thicker locks and I’m only bloody raging I didn’t do it sooner.

It’s no secret that Farrah Abraham’s look has changed substantially since she first made her TV debut on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant.

But throughout multiple breast enhancements, a nose job, chin implants and lip and cheek fillers, one part of the reality star’s appearance has remained relatively constant – her hair.

Yesterday, the 25-year-old author took to Instagram to share pictures of her new soft blonde hairdo with fans and – as with all things Farrah – the move has garnered a mixed response.

While some social media users celebrated the young mum’s lighter locks with comments like “You look so good blonde”, others told her the change has left her looking “disgusting”.

The controversial TV personality has been subject to much criticism in recent months, with an online petition demanding she be dropped from Teen Mom receiving more than 75,000 signatures.

While the royal tour of Canada featured a multitude of designer gear, the Duchess of Cambridge finished her trip with a more affordable look.

Greeting crowds in Victoria over the weekend, Kate Middleton kept things high street chic with a cream blazer and black skinny jeans from Zara.

Beneath the jacket, the mother of two – whose selling power has been well documented – wore a ribbed top from H&M.

The look was finished with a pair of J. Crew loafers, a set of pearl drop earrings and a gold necklace – all of which could be easily replicated with cost effective dupes.

With a sister like Nicole, Sofia Richie is bound to know a thing or two about fashion.

But while most celeb’s wardrobes are well out of the average woman’s price range, Sofia’s latest bomber jacket is an absolute steal.

The 18-year-old model recently stepped out in perfected casual wear with a pair of faded black skinnies, a cropped white tee and a champagne coloured satin bomber from Pretty Little Thing.

The Karia jacket features cross stitch detailing to the front, comes in three different colours and, best of all, retails for just €39.20.

She may be best known for her beachy, balayage infused hairstyle, but that doesn’t mean Gigi Hadid can’t work a multitude of looks.

Appearing at a CFDA event last night, the Californian model debuted a new full fringe ‘do and already the style has earned itself the title of “hairspo” among the star’s followers.

Since the fringe was paired with volumized hair and a strong bun-based up-do, we’re interested to see how Gigi’s bangs will look when the rest of her hair is down.
