Finding an outfit for a wedding is never going to be easy.

However, if you are Beyoncé then you apparently don’t have to play by the rules and can where whatever it is that you want. Lucky Beyoncé. She obviously wasn’t afraid of offending anyone last weekend when she rocked up at a pal’s wedding in an all-white outfit.

As one would expect, she looked amazing.

She uploaded some snaps from the event to her Instagram account and we do love her wrap dress with gold detail on the trim. Flawless. However, is it acceptable to wear white to a wedding if you are not Beyoncé?

The answer is yes if you are Blue Ivy. Who broke our hearts with her pretty white tulle dress with matching ballerina flats. Very cute.

This is definitely not the first time Bey and Blue have gone for matching outfits. Unsurprising considering Bey spent many years in the most co-ordinated girl band of all time: Destiny’s Child.

They even allowed Jay to join their fashion fun at Halloween when they took costume inspiration from Eddie Murphy’s Coming to America film.

There was also the occasion where they both accessorised like true festival queens.

Oh, and the time they both appeared in Vogue

One major US fashion retailer was busy taking a trip around the Kingdom recently and now we are feeling a serious case of wanderlust overcome us.

A team from J. Crew were recently in Kerry for a fashion shoot for the brand’s latest collection and the images to come from the big day are beautiful.

Seriously, we’re packing our bags for a road trip right now.

Someone hand us our Aran jumpers and beanie hats because we feel the need for a fashionable camping adventure somewhere outside Dingle. The photos were actually taken three months ago, which explains why Storm Abigail didn’t wash away any of the attractive models.

"The weather was wild, it was like 10 seasons in a day," said production director, Tara. "It would be sprinkling rain, then suddenly cold and sunny."

Apparently the team even recruited a few of the local GAA players to appear in a few select shots. Fair play lads, any sample chunky knits to share with us?

As well as showing off the amazing scenery in Kerry, the J. Crew Instagram page also highlights places in the county to visit, and shares a guide to hotels and airports nearby.

"The landscape was so many shades of green. It was like a movie set," said art director Mark.

In a very unsurprising turn of events the production team also appear to have fallen in love with the locals.

"Everyone we met was so laid-back. And the view was just so lush, mossy, ferny, sheep dotted … very dramatic," she said. They were really feeling the love for the furry Kerry crew too it would seem: "Sheep were literally just walking down the middle of the road," Tara said of the experience.

We imagine both the sheep and any Kerry natives are feeling pretty cuffed at the moment.

Just last month model and TV host Chrissy Teigen announced that she and husband John Legend were expecting their first child together.

Not long before, the stunning foodie had discussed her fertility issues with fellow model Tyra Banks on their talk show The FAB Life. Never one to shy away from social media, Chrissy has kept her almost 4 million Instagram follower up to date on her pregnancy.

Naturally, all of her updates are hilarious and make us hungry- she really loves to cook. However, we also can't keep our eyes off the star for another reason: she is nailing maternity style.

She's always been known for her serious fashion game, but lately she seems to be on a serious winning streak and we love it.

Ok, so maybe she got off to a shaky start as shortly after the couple announced their pregnancy news Chrissy had a minor fashion disaster.

But she pulled it off and looked flawless anyway.

We're kind of obsessed with this striped look that she picked for a date night with John.

Also, look at his jumper! Cute but also chic.

Rocking the red carpet and showing off her petitie bump.

We love that skirt.

Upping the style stakes with some lace detail, also that hair is incredible.

The latest addition to her fabulous wardrobe: the thigh highs.

Werk, Chrissy.

Yes, we already know that model of the moment Gigi Hadid looks pretty much flawless wearing next to nothing.

However, there is a good reason that we’re also very invested in the star’s style when she’s not modelling Victoria’s finest secrets. After making her long awaited debut for the lingerie brand this week Gigi was back to bundling up.

Her latest winter outfit is giving us major style envy because it was effortless and also bang on trend same time. There’s a grand total of four pieces visible (including accessories), and we want them ALL.

Everything Gigi wore was sleek and statement making, there’s a reason she’s considering one of the best-dressed celebs these days.

The piece that we cannot peel our eyes from is her showstopper of a winter coat. The Kempner design wraps all the way around the body, which makes it super comfortable and warm, but also very flattering.

The furry collar added that extra bit of coziness, while still looking terribly chic. Gigi paired the long coat with over-the-knee Stuart Wetizman boots.

Her accessories included her favourite Karen Walker Deep Worship sunglasses and Rag & Bone's circle bag.

We’re not at all jealous. Especially because we discovered Asos have a very furry coat of a similarly stylish nature for a fraction of the designer cost. Win!

Hurrah! Now we can all be as trendy as the famous model, success.

Once only affordable to the rich and famous, velvet is now one seriously classic and versatile fabric.

Let's be thankful then that it crops up everywhere from designer runways, to high-street rails… and even your granny's attic.

Warm, luxurious and rich in texture, having a key velvet piece is basically a necessity for ALL winter wardrobes.

Let's face it though, the material is also notoriously difficult to style. Yup get it wrong and it will only look costumey and awkward.

So if you are worried your velvet creations will be a bit too on the nose this festive season, here is how to remain fashion forward (and not a fashion fail).

Tailored

Avoid wearing a lot of slouchy velvet and instead opt for tailored, fitted lines. A velvet suit is a handy trick to keep up your velvety sleeve as it transitions from business to casual seamlessly. Incorporate into a professional wardrobe for some rock chic texture or pair with a pair of trainers for day time cool.

All in one

Don’t be afraid to purchase a velvet piece for the party season. Dresses, playsuits and jumpsuits in this fabric are instantly glamorous and will add some warmth on those cold winter evenings. Pair velvet pieces with stripped back accessories in cool tones and minimal jewellery so that you don’t venture into costume territory.

Mix n match

Having velvet options can add new texture to your wardrobe that you may not have even known you were missing. Incorporate velvet shorts, a t shirt or cardigan into any outfit to add some depth as well as a soft touch. Velvet tends to come in super rich tones so style it up with solid colours such as grey, black, brown or navy.

Style it up

If you are a bit fearless and want to add even more opulence to the most luxurious fabric on the planet, instead of layering it on, try opting for ornate patterns. Velvet is often used to create beautiful designs on plain fabric so use this for instant glamour. Pair ornate pieces with simple accessories that don’t overpower your look.

Style it down

Velvet CAN be dressed down, but do it in the right way. Pair your velvet leggings with slouchy cardigans and a beanie or throw your velvet blazer over a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and trainers. Velvet can give any casual look a sense of refinement.

Winter wardrobes are pretty amazing.

Who doesn’t love giant scarfs and coats that make you feel powerful? Sometimes it can almost be easier to deal with winter fashion than summer, because we know that we will need that jumper at some point today.

The only thing that really bothers us about winter dressing is the tights issue.

Tights can be exceptionally easy to ruin with a single snag. However, now there is a genius way to avoid this for the entire winter season.

If you dampen them with water, then freeze before wearing them for the first time, they'll last longer, according to Refinery29

“When you buy a new pair of tights, run them under water for a few seconds, squeeze out the excess, and then freeze them overnight in a plastic bag.”

Can you imagine reaching into the freezer to pull out something for dinner and realising you’ve been defrosting tights? Not exactly a gourmet meal, but who knows these days.

“When you take them out of the freezer, let them come to room temp gradually before wearing. You only have to do this prior to the first wear, and it's said to extend the life of your tights.”

Tights can be a wardrobe staple in any season, and with our chilly winter weather sometimes tights are the way to go.

So, making them last longer will save you both money and frustration. There is nothing worse than realising you have a massive ladder in your tights just before you walk out the door.

We might be giving this a go.

Sometimes, you don’t mind forking out for a great upstyle professionally done in your local salon.

On other occasions, however, you don’t necessarily have the time or money to do anything other than give it a bash yourself.

Thankfully, A LOAD of amazing YouTube tutorials for killer hair-looks are available; red-carpet delights that can be adapted for Debs, wedding or college ball.

So what’s the issue? Well, for one deciding on what will work and what definitely won’t is something of a serious pickle. Indeed, with so much choice and so, so many online tutorials, it’s difficult to even know where to start.

And even if you do want to leave things in the hands of professionals (probably advisable for a REALLY big event) you need to be able to relay to them clearly what you want to achieve.

Thankfully, the experts at Toni&Guy in Dundrum Town Centre – which recently marked its 10th anniversary – have a load of top tips for us… which means you can get red-carpet ready in no time. Hurrah

1) The most important thing to consider when deciding on a hairstyle for the big night is whether or not you will feel comfortable.

If you never wear your hair up chances are an upstyle will leave you feeling exposed and uncomfortable. Equally if you never wear it down you might spend the whole night fidgeting with it.

2) The neckline and style of your dress is really important when deciding on a style. With a high neckline hair is usually better drawn back and over the shoulder, or worn up.

A sweetheart neckline can look fabulous with hair down or up, but bear in mind if you wear an upstyle you may want to think about a neck piece or earrings as it will be a more exposed look.

3) It is always best to work with and enhance the look of your own natural hair. Hair pieces can of course be used but remember that if you want the hair to be curled the piece must be made of real hair.

Take inspiration from celebs with a similar hair length and style as your own; it will give a better indication of what will suit you and what's achievable.

4) Also remember that you want to balance out your overall look nicely. That means if your dress has a lot of detail, a simple hair style may complement it best.

Equally if you are wearing a strong or dramatic make-up look, you may want to consider a softer style for your hair.

5) This year less is definitely more: relaxed and paired-back looks are taking centre stage with soft tumbling curls and sleek ponytails taking centre stage. That's not to say that iconic glamour – which will always have its moment – is totally out.

In fact, Forties-inspired waves and beautiful chignons are still a seriously popular choice for anyone with a big event to attend.

6) Finally, if you're having an upstyle, it is best to wash your hair the night before. Shampoo and condition (conditioner only ever through mid-lengths and ends) and simply blast dry or let your hair dry naturally. Don’t put any product in to your hair before or after you dry it.

This means that your hair won’t be super silky and will hold the style more easily. And the same prep also applies if you're wearing your hair down and you want your curls to really hold all night.

As well as on-trend hair and styling services, Toni&Guy Dundrum boasts lots of lovely added extras such as head massages and giant reclining chairs at its basins. Refreshments on offer include – hurrah! – herbal teas, red and white wine, and cold beers so you can REALLY relax.

Since starting her blog more than five years ago, she's shown time and time again that she's definitely one seriously stylish lady.

But, as proven by one priceless throwback photograph shared this afternoon, Suzanne Jackson has always had one eye on fashionable endeavours.

1992 & 2015…. Easy to see the colours I love most

A photo posted by Suzanne Jackson (SoSueMe) (@sosueme_ie) on

Taking to Instagram, the 30-year-old Dubliner posted a picture of her eight-year-old self alongside a present-day snap.

In both she is wearing striking mustard and black hues – not to mention that she flashes the shame gorgeous smile.

"1992 & 2015… Easy to see the colours I love most," she playfully captioned the comparison.

In an earlier entry on her mega-popular website, Suzanne – aka SoSuMe – had revealed that the plunge yellow-coloured bodysuit is from Missguided, with the jeggings coming from River Island

She completed her look with black Louboutin pumps and a belt from Karen Millen.

Sadly, there's no word yet on where the 1992 ensemble was sourced.

She's now admitted that while expecting North, her fashion choices were a little off.

In fact, Kim Kardashian says that looking back at those 2013 snaps, she is nothing short of "mortified".

Last month, she declared: "Everyone used to say Kourtney had the best pregnancy style, so I would borrow a dress she wore when she was pregnant, and OMG it did not look the same!"

Suffice to say, however, that this time round she's nailed it – wowing her fans and observers with an array of killer maternity looks.

Now, as we say a very big HAPPY 35th BIRTHDAY to the one and only Kim Kardashian West, we take a look at the 10 times when she absolutely nailed it in the pregnancy style stakes.

1) One of her earlier looks, Kim killed it in this skin-tight, plunging latex piece by Atsuko Kudo back in June:

2) Swoon! Posing up with Kanye last month in advance of a New York society wedding – clad in a €4,000 Valentino gown:

3) So daring… But she certainly pulls it all off. Lace and black and all sorts of see-through as envisioned by Givenchy. We love it:

4) She hadn't announced her pregnancy when the Met Gala took place – but she was already two months along. And we reckon she's never looked better:

5) In Proenza Schouler for the CFDA Fashion Awards. We're pretty sure only Ms Kardashian could make this work:

6) She doesn't just do black: Kim kept it casual (sorta) in this skin-tight beige attire – completing the look with a Lanvin coat:

7) At the DASH store in West Hollywood in June – this fringed number from Magda Butrym and the denim jacket are to die for:

8) The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards was evidently a seriously stylish affair, with Mrs West embracing the glamour of the evening in Balmain:

9) Ravishing in white, Kim was pictured in Hollywood in July wearing this stunning dress from Wolford

10) Kim Kardashian arrived at the Cosmopolitan 50th birthday earlier this month – completing her look with a €2,250 Balmain necklace:

When you think of UGG boots, you probably think of the year 2003.

And that's fair enough. The Australian company basically took over the footwear market (as far as teenage girls were concerned) in the early noughties.

If you remember correctly, Juicy Couture and Von Dutch trucker hats were also a pretty big deal at the time.

Today however, they have basically become a taboo in the fashion world. They don’t even make it into that ironically vintage category yet.

Except the brand is evolving. In fact, over the last number of years, Ugg boots have been getting a serious makeover. The results? Not the fluffy contraptions you had come to know so well.

In January, Vogue was all about embracing the "ugly shoe". They look great with a vintage dress and chunky knit, and according to the fashion bible's own Laura Weir:  "That's how I wore mine in the South of France last summer."

Quite a change from how we have come to view the fuzzy boots since they first arrived:

Below are just some of the samples we found on their website, and we have to admit, they're not half bad.

You can’t really deny that Ugg boots were a real winner in the comfort department, so we shall have to wait and see how the new and improved versions fare.

Not a hint of fleece to be found here (€190):

Not just boots anymore either (€160):

The UGG take on the over-the-knee trend (€230):

These might be our favourite pair so far (€190)

This pair are fully lined with sheepskin… such luxury (€420):
