Lady Gaga's red-carpet history is among Hollywood's most outrageous.

She's donned  everything from meat dresses to mesh naked gowns. However, when the American Horror Story star wears those crazier looks, she isn't actually feeling that confident in them.

She explained to Billboard: "If you see me dressing really out there, I tend to be self-deprecating inside. When I dress like a lady, I tend to be feeling very wild and confident."

One of the reasons for this, she went on to explain is that mental health issues have had a impact on her self-confidence and how she portrays herself when in the spotlight.

"That sounds bizarre, but I get a lot of shit done with that blond hair. I haven't changed. It's just that I'm almost 30. I'm learning how to function effectively in society," she added.

The singer has struggled with depression and anxiety "my entire life; I still suffer with it every single day."

She started her Born This Way Foundation in order to help teens going through it:

"I just want these kids to know that that depth that they feel as human beings is normal. We were born that way. This modern thing, where everyone is feeling shallow and less connected? That's not human."

She also opened up about recovering from her own sexual assault in the interview. It became an experience she tapped into to write and perform Til It Happens to You for other survivors.

"The hardest part for me was the self-acceptance," she said. "There's an inability to acknowledge to yourself, 'Not only did this happen, but I'm pretty f—ed up about it.' And nobody knows how you feel. I didn't tell anyone [about my sexual assault] for years—and I didn't tell anyone for years because I didn't tell myself for years."

She went on to say that her inability to process the assualt lead to her feeling completely drained and not in control of herself or her emotions:

"My soul just burnt out until it was gone. And then you have to admit you were in pain, and that you died in a way, but you are in control to bring it back, and there are people in the world who'll help you."

Former X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos made her return to the red carpet at the 2015 Attitude Awards.

Putting her finest fashion foot forward Tulisa, who recently made headlines after crashing her Ferrari and getting arrested, turned plenty of heads in London.

The bash, which Sir Ian McKellan and Frankie Bridge also attended was held at London’s Banqueting House.

Keeping up the glam vibe at the event, Tulisa debuted a navy-blue velour pants suit.

The blue two-piece ensemble was from Topshop and the whole look including the shoes (also Topshop) cost €250. A red carpet bargain.

Considering Tulisa has often donned some more pricey pieces, the tailored cigarette pants and super-plunging blazer are pretty affordable in comparison.

Several years ago audiences were treated to some of Tulisa’s more expensive style moments as she and Nicole Scherzinger were the X Factor judges worth watching every week.

Tulisa was more likely to be seen sporting designer dresses and full-length sequined gowns as she and the former Pussycat Doll went head to head in the style stakes.

Topshop has long been a favourite of those on the fashion scene, but it is definitely more affordable than the couture frocks she was favouring in the past.

She kept her makeup for the evening simple with a dark smoky eye, a dusty pink lip and what looks like some skilled contouring.

The lengths that some fashion fans will go to for a glimpse at a brand new designer collection?

Well, hacking isn't out of the question, evidently. Olivier Rousteing's master plan of dropping only the most elusive nuggets to tease Balmain's upcoming collaboration with H&M hit a slight snag.

The Cut reported that a woman in Chicago has posted 99 images to Instagram that she is saying belong to the much- talked about collection, which was not supposed to be released to the public until November.

Kathryn Swartz Rees first announced her discovery on Twitter Tuesday evening, tagging the message with the hashtag: #HMBALMAINNATION. Her Instagram account has since been deactivated.

Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner attend the 2015 Billboard award wearing Balmain x H&M

She says she simply "happened to search at the right time using the right parameters," she told The Cut.

According to Swartz Rees, she was able to pull images of the collection right from H&M's site because Google had supposedly indexed the URL, which allowed her to retrieve the images with a well-timed Google sweep. This page she alleges she found them on has been taken down since.

Previously, we've only seen select Balmain for H&M pieces sported by members of Rousteing's #BalmainArmy on the red carpet and in the just-released ad campaign. However, the leak was the first comprehensive look at the entire collection — women's and men's apparel, shoes, and accessories.

And the pictures Swartz Rees posted looked fairly legit. They also looked absolutely fabulous. Since the 'leak' a new Instagram account has come online, featuring many pieces similar to that seen last night.

We already want the boots.

Oh- and this dress too! To be honest, we want one of everything.

On top of the beaded blazer and similarly-embellished pieces we’ve already seen on Kendall Jenner and the rest for supermodel squad, there's rich velvet, satin-look fabric, and  and other similar attention to detail we've seen from Rousteing's Balmain.

Swartz Rees told The Cut that the there are different colourways available for certain items that didn't feature in her Instagram feed.

There's less than one month before the official collection is due to be launched and now we're feeling even more excited about it. H&M told Buzzfeed News about the leak:

“Images from our Balmain x H&M collaboration have surfaced. We are pleasantly surprised by our fans positive reaction to the collection.”

The fashion retailer ModCloth made the announcement that is going to remove a separate ‘plus’ section from the ModCloth website.

The change comes as an effort for the brand to be more inclusive.

Founder of the company, Susan Koger, told Buzzfeed that the decision was made as a result of customer feedback and also her own personal experiences.

“I’ve had my own struggles with body image, and I can empathize with going shopping and feeling like I’m not enough.”

A survey conducted by ModCloth revealed that roughly half of their customers were averse to the term ‘plus-size’.

Susan explained she was also inspired by women’s reactions to recent pop-up shops the company organised.

“Seeing in real life how excited customers were that about 95% of our clothing was available in a full range of sizes [XS-4X] made us not want to relegate anyone to a different section based on size, and we wanted to reflect that on the site as well.”

These shops did not separate what would normally be considered ‘plus-size’ clothing from other sizes.

“Shopping is an experience that tears a lot of people down, but we want to make it an uplifting one,” she says. “It makes us wonder, why aren’t more people in the industry doing this?”

She also explained that removing the ‘plus’ label is not only in like with the company ethos, but it is also a smart business decision:

“I’m sure certain retailers have a fear of turning off straight size customers by welcoming customers who wear extended sizes, but that’s not true from what we’ve seen.”

Since the company began stocking larger sized clothing in 2013, Susan says is has been their fastest-growing sales category.

“There’s an outdated notion that the plus consumer won’t spend money on herself, and when she does, it won’t be trendy or stylish,” she added that ModCloth proves this notion is in fact not true.

“Accentuate the positives and eliminate the negatives!"

This was the style advice which legendary actress Joan Collins had to share with SHEmazing earlier today at the unveiling of her collection at the Newbridge Silverware Museum of Style Icons.

"Focus on the good parts rather than what you don’t like,” she replied when asked what advice she would give to any budding fashionistas.

The actress was on hand to unveil her incredible collection which boasts a range of fashion and jewellery  belonging to the Dynasty actress that are a must-see for any fan of fashion or indeed film.

And certainly, Ms Collins did turn heads when she arrived in Newbridge earlier.

She was wearing an outfit which she designed herself and had previously debuted at Buckingham Palace when she received her DBE (meaning she's a legitimate Dame).

The white peplum hemmed dress and matching capped jacket were paired with some very elegant Newbridge Silver pieces, naturally. This particular ensemble is one which Ms Collins said will be auctioned in December at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills.

Some of the pieces include personal favourites such as the couture halter dress which she wore on the red carpet of the Doctor Dolittle premiere.

Another personal favourite which the star included in the collection- a beaded Yves Saint Laurent jacket; which was her "go-to Christmas party piece for over 20 years."

Speaking about her personal style, the actress noted that she believes it does require a certain amount of disciple to maintain such ‘effortless’ glamour.

She added a healthy lifestyle would help and avoids excess sugar whenever possible- and it certainly shows as the 82-year old is quite radiant despite joking she had recently experienced something of a "cola hangover" after she had her first soft drink in almost two years.

She noted Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren as some of her favourite designers along with Donna Karen as they design clothes “for women and not for teenage girls.”

Working alongside some of Hollywood’s most well-known faces, including Elizabeth Taylor and recently Elizabeth Hurley in the E! drama series The Royals, the screen legend said it is "incredibly difficult" for young actresses to get started now.

Meanwhile, she noted that older actresses are still feeling the pressure to be as thin as possible for certain roles:

"I have heard from some fellow female actresses that even though they weigh 8 stone, they may be told to lose even more weight."

Helen Mirren and Judi Dench were two actresses whom Ms Collins noted as rising above the film industry's body image trends and producing great work in fascinating roles. Something which she herself seemed keen to do-  in Ireland no less.

While she has not worked in Ireland before, she did reveal that it is her intention to work on a project based here in the future.

"A modern Thelma and Louise type buddy film about two women who travel from Ireland through England and into France to find happiness," is how she describes the film.

While no official word was given as to who would take on the role of Joan's pal in the project she did note that she's a big Meryl Streep fan- aren't we all?

CEO of Newbridge Silverware William Doyle said of the collection: “It is an honour to have the legendary Dame Joan Collins represented at the Museum of Style Icons. The collection is filled with a number of show stopping pieces and we are proud to introduce them all to our visitors.”

The Museum of Style Icons will display the Collection of Dame Joan Collins free of charge to the public until Sunday 8 November. The exclusive exhibition will give fans the chance to see the prized pieces before they go on sale at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills. Ah the internet. It is such a wonderful place filled with hilarious cat videos, GIFs for any and all emotional states and of course celebrities sharing with us the ins and outs of their daily lives.

The internet is also responsible for thrusting some of the most ridiculous phrases into our everyday conversations. We see it plastered all over Facebook and Instagram so therefore inserting words like 'fleek' and 'belfie' into actual sentences is a (somewhat) natural progression.

There’s nothing like picking up a fashion bargain online – and then having the package delivered to discover a perfect fit.

And while we’ve long been huge fans of dresses.ie – it launched in 2007 – for serious style steals, lately we’ve fallen in love with the site all over again.

That’s because it’s been given a snazzy overhaul and now looks oh-so sleek.

The same celebrity-inspired fashions are all still there in dress form, along with a smattering of tops, skirts, and jackets for those looking for something a little different.

An Irish brand, it also wins points for being really affordable; even the more upmarket/event dresses come in at under €100, while a load of stock is priced at €40 or less (hurrah!).

Here, SHEmazing! takes a peek at our favourite pieces from revamped site…

Rick Owens debuted his Cyclops collection at Paris Fashion Week yesterday and in doing so left plenty of people stunned- and also confused.

The show began innocently at first, one model strutted down the runway in an open sleeveless coat that left her black bra on display.

However, things then took a turn for the bizarre.

Models were walking down the runway wearing other models strapped to their bodies like one would wear a schoolbag.

Face-up, face-down or even upside-down, the models contorted themselves in the most unusual ways. Reports claim they were actually local gymnasts, which explains a little, but not a lot.

iPhones were whipped out as fast as possible as crowds were reportedly shocked by the show, but also very much in love with the fashion.

A photo posted by Team Curtains (@team.curtains) on

The designer told the New York Times where his idea came from and why he chose the Cyclops theme.

He writes: "A cyclops is a mythological creature, formidable with focused vision. Who among us wouldn’t appreciate that kind of description?”

We can’t argue with that, can we? He then continued:

“In the spring men’s collection, which shares the same name, that focused vision was propulsive and aggressive. When applied to women, I see that focused vision being more about nourishment, sisterhood, motherhood, and regeneration. “

He said that “women raising women” and “women supporting women” in the world of women is something he knows little about.

Just when we thought we had in-depth knowledge of the fashion world, human-backpacks arrive and leave us all really confused.

She the adorable only daughter and youngest child of pretty much the hottest couple on the planet – so it's no surprise that Harper Beckham is quite the cutie herself.

Indeed, and although she's still only four, she's become something of a mini-fashionista in her own right, certainly giving North West and Penelope Disick a serious run for their stylish money.

Key to the little one's look, of course, is her mop of gorgeous blonde hair – which at this stage reaches down to her bum.

Now her dad, David, has spoken of his love of her look, stating that he simply won't allow a barber's scissors anywhere near her locks.

In conversation with Yahoo! Style to promote his new H&M campaign, the former footballer revealed: "About a year ago, my wife said, 'Maybe we should cut Harper’s hair.'

"And I was like, 'No! We need to grow it. Do. Not. Touch.'"

In fact, despite now being four – a birthday she marked in July – the youngster has NEVER had her hair chopped.

"Since she was born, we haven’t cut it," David admitted. "That’s why it’s pretty much down to her knees."

Noting that his mother, Sandra, used to be a hair stylist, the 40-year-old furthermore revealed that she sadly didn't pass on any tips to him. Still, that hasn't stopped him from tackling his sons' unruly manes.

"I do cut my sons’ hair from time-to-time. When they have a buzz cut, I do it.

"If I have to use scissors, the boys know not to ask."

Sometimes we just need an extra bit of motivation to get ourselves to the gym.

However, when you take into consideration having the chance to show off a whole new outfit things start to seem more fun.

We found some very stylish, and practical, gym outfits from around the internet that are sure to give you some fitness (and style) inspiration for your next sweat sess.

No matter what height you're coming in at, there are certain things that will make anyone look shorter than what they really are.

We've figured out the top five things that make us appear shorter, and how to change it:

Your shoes cut you off

How to look taller 101: create a long, vertical line with as few visual interruptions as possible. That's it! Shoes that cut your foot off (like Scarlett's here) will make your leg appear much shorter than it actually is, so opt for skin-baring styles á la swimsuit models who hop on their toes the minute the exit the pool.

Your skirts aren't short enough

If your going to wear a short skirt, go for as short as you can (without looking trashy, obvs). Extending your leg length will always make you look that extra bit taller, but if you want to cover up, opt for a floor-length style as a midi-skirt will make your legs appear shorter.

Your making people look down

Salma on the left is making you look down at her belt and shoes, but Salma on the right is making you look up at her lippy and her keyhole cut-out. If you want to appear taller, showcasing accessories or bold make-up will help keep people focusing looking up rather than down on you.

Your hair is too long

If you're on the shorter side, long hair can be a total distraction; including to your height and even your outfit. Show more skin by donning a short hair cut – it will draw attention to your neck, which is like a lightening rod for your face.

Cut out the cut offs

NEVER give up any trouser style (cullottes, skinny, bootcut, flare) if you're worried about seeming short. You just need to learn how to wear trousers in the right way. Emily on the left has completely shortened herself by cutting her cullottes off at the ankle, where as on the right she lets them flow right down, giving her the look of a longer leg.
