OK, so we don't produce too many models of international-standing, but at least one Galway beauty is now FINALLY bucking that trend.

In fact, Emily Butcher has just caused a storm in Milan this week – walking for Gucci (aka pretty much the jewel in Fashion Week's crown).

Watching were the A-list likes of Anna Wintour (swoon), Charlotte Casiraghi (a member of the Monaco royal household), actress Dakota Johnson, long-standing Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, it-girl Alexa Chung, and Hollywood's Salma Hayek.

Emily, who grew up in Ireland but whose family all hail from the UK, has cited Rosie Huntington Whiteley as her career inspiration in the past, and certainly the 18-year-old is headed for big things.

She's already walked for Armani and appeared last month on the pages of Glamour Italia.

However, with an exclusive contract with Gucci currently under her belt, rumour has it that the 5ft 10in head-turner is being lined-up for the Italian fashion-house's next HUGE campaign.

Currently signed to the high-profile Next Model Management in London, Emily can also be found on the books of Andrea Roche in Dublin.

Andrea herself told Goss.ie that Emily is "shooting for Marie Claire soon," furthermore revealing that this week actually represents the second time the teenager has walked for the Gucci brand (she first appeared on its catwalk three months ago, also in Milan).

Ms Butcher actually only began modelling properly a year ago – kicking off her career by appearing in Brown Thomas shows and doing photocalls in Dublin.

Under a snap posted on the Andrea Roche Model Agency Facebook page last September announcing the arrival on Emily onto its books, the young woman's beaming grandparents couldn't help but share their joy.

Norfolk-based Roger and Angie Butcher wrote: "What proud Grandparents we are. You are beautiful. XX"

We’ve all been there on a Friday night. Attempting to put together a last minute outfit when you just left the office, your phone is dead and everything is in the wash.

Chances are, at least once the wardrobe staple that has come to your rescue has been your favourite black dress.

We love them, we tend to feel a little lost when we’re missing one from our wardrobe, but so lost we would join a waiting list almost 1,000 people strong?

Ahm- we’re not entirely sure. Does this dress also charge our phone and make coffee?

No, the MM.LaFleur designed LBD does not in fact support your caffeine addiction but it that hasn’t stopped people from falling in love with it.

The Tory design was recently released and people have gone MAD trying to get their hands on one. For €210 – nope, it ain't cheap – this dress must be pretty special.

We will admit that it does look pretty amazing and yes, we would definitely grab one if we had the chance, but just why is there so much demand?

Bustle spoke to the editor-in-chief who told them that “word of mouth” is what drives their business. Also, this dress has “bonus” features:

“The wrap is secured and lined, so there's no risk of an in-office wardrobe malfunction.”

It is also “wrinkle-resistant” and “eco-friendly” while designed to “keep you cool all year-round,” that’s a lot of buzz words for one dress. A dress which won’t be on sale until 2016.

Hello Giggles pointed out that this dress reminds them of InStyle’s report that Kate Middleton’s ME+EM top had a 14-week long waiting list, and the item sold out. Maybe it is a great advertising scheme, but it has certainly made people curious.

Nicki Minaj is not afraid to make some interesting style choices and we have definitely seen her sport some pretty interesting wigs from time to time.

However, the star stepped out in LA recently sported a much more laid-back look than we were used to. It looks like Nicki is the latest celeb to take the blonde plunge as her hair has been completely transformed.

Rather than go for a complete peroxide style, it looks like there has been a serious colour job done on Nicki’s locks.

Her hair has a multi-toned type colour going on currently and her darker roots definitely make for a more natural, grown-out style. She’s also rocking a serious fringe right now, which we’re slightly tempted to try.

Of late Nicki had been keeping her hair dark, and even in her GQ cover shoot with boyfriend Meek Mill didn’t wear any of the brightly coloured wigs would we have seen her wear in the past.

While she didn’t surprise with any hair transformations in her interview she did reveal that she first fell for boyfriend Meek when he was in jail last year.

She explained that she reached out to “his people” and asked them to call her for him. When Meek heard the request the two ended up talking for hours.

“I remember sitting on my balcony at my house and just being on the phone with him until it started getting dark outside. And I was just like, ''Yo, I'm in trouble.''' I just knew that first day. It was that long conversation.”

She also added that their relationship is genuine, not a publicity stunt and after ten years in the industry she doesn’t want to keep it a secret:

“When I came in the business, you couldn't tell people you were in a relationship, because record company and management said that doesn't make you appealing to men.”

These days it seems that there is a new beauty trend that we absolutely must try nearly every five seconds.

In case you haven’t noticed, eyebrows are having something of a beauty moment as it is so it is no surprise really then that the latest trend is all about the brows. This time instead of shaping, threading, waxing or even contouring them, people are dyeing them.

We do not mean with the aim of matching our hair colour either. People are dyeing their eyebrows after taking inspiration from the colours of the rainbow.

So think violet, aqua, red and even orange.

A quick scroll through some choice Instagram hashtags will lead you down the most colourful path you will have seen in quite a while.

Blue eyebrows are now on fleek, and we really have no idea whether we love this or not.

Expert colourist Aura Friedman has also pointed out that as your eyebrows are so close to your eyes, naturally, you need to exercise some caution if you decide to take the plunge.

Also, it would probably be best to consult a professional, because there really is no hiding from these bad boys…

Everyone knows that subtly updating details is a great way to add new life to an outfit.

That's why we keep a steady eye on celebrities and street style bloggers alike to see what new tips and tricks they don each season.

And this season, we've noticed key stylists and runway designers showing interesting ways of wearing the apron-and–wrap skirt trend.

Often a completely separate pieces and layered over a dress, this trend feels like the grown-up version of tying a shirt around your waist.

Even though this trend looks slightly strange, we're obsessed.

Not all of us were blessed with the kind of genetics that would give us a 24/7 Angelina Jolie pout.

Unfortunately some of us were left a little lacking when it came to the full lip department. Which is absolutely fine, except that bold lips are having something of a beauty moment.

Everywhere you look these days people are flashing us their fabulous super sized pouts at us and we can’t help but want to jump on the bandwagon from time to time. If you’re feeling a bit jealous of Kylie and the likes, then all you need are these three easy steps.

Prep your skin

Dry lips will look flat and dull, so just like you would with your skin, you need to scrubs. Grab a toothbrush or a specific lip scrubs and away you go. Make sure you apply plenty of your favourite moisturising balm afterwards.

Nudes

Smaller lips can look smaller when you wear darker colours, which is a shame because winter and dark berry lipstick shades are a given. However, for full lips use a nude pencil and line your lips slightly beyond their natural edges. Make the line more pronounced if need be and apply a creamy lipstick in a similar shade.

Strategic Sparkle

Use a highlighter, or shimmery shadow on your Cupid’s bow to add some depth to your lips. Follow up with a shiny neutral gloss just in the middle top and bottom lips.

In case you had not noticed, New York Fashion Week has brought an awful lot of celebrities and their very important entourage members all together.

There was a lot of events, hundreds of outfit changes and of course, there were some snarky comments tossed about between the celebs. Cosmopolitan gathered up some of the most outrageous remarks that were overheard over the course of the fashion extravaganza, and they were hilarious.

These are just some of most hilarious things that people overheard the fashion crowd saying, in very crowded, very public places.

"I was sitting across from Anna. She yawned, she checked her watch, she looked up at the ceiling and played with her jewelry, and she texted. I've seen her not like a show before but never like that. She hated it."

"Who is that Russian mistress in the front row?"

"I don't want her to be physically hurt, because that would be mean. Just emotionally."

"They say smart things. Like, they analyze Magic Mike in an intellectual way, which is what I do with my friends."

"I love when Jimmy Choo did Uggs! That was a good day in fashion."

"This is their new shoe. It's also a hat. Unisex."

 "It's 10 a.m. and I already saw a nip slip."

"This show's front row is like a who's who of mother-daughter plastic surgery."

"I know the '70s are back, but please still trim your chest hair and don't grow a mustache."

"Poor Kim trying to wear those clothes and she just looked like a big poo emoji."

If you're in any way a fashion kinda girl, these amazing trends will have you jumping head over heels.

From check coats to Loub lipsticks, it seems this A/W is the best season to make a style statement.

1) Check it out

Plaid is a no-brainer when it comes to looking cool in the cold weather, but be careful not to play it too safe this season. Go for something eye-catching to make you stand out from the crowd. This Miu Miu A/W 2015 coat is perfect for making a statement. At nearly €5,000 though, it might be a little out of our price range, so we spotted this fab Topshop replica

2) Louboutin lippy

Christian Louboutin, the luxury shoe designer, now wants to dress women from head to toe. In recent months, the designer launched Loub lipstick, in a whopping 38 shades. The make-up packaging is very art deco, but also comes with a big bonus – you can wear it as a necklace or earrings. Fancy. Never lose your lippy at the bottom of your bag again!

3) Join the Krewe

You may not be able to join Gigi Hadid's squad, but you can definitely copy her Krewe – sunglasses, that is. The model is a huge fan of the indie eye-wear brand, which crafts handmade frames inspired by a city's culture. They go for nearly €200, but if that's a bit pricey, we spotted these great ones from River Island.

4) The braidy bunch

It's time for the fishtail trend to move over as there's a new twist in town: cornrows. But don't worry, we're not talking Alicia Keys dodgy hair do' circa early 2000. Celebs like Amanda Seyfried, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Selena Gomez have all sported the trend recently.

Celebs soften the look by just doing a few plaits up top and letting the rest of the hair fall into loose waves.

5) The NEW statement bag

From Gucci's runway show it seems there's a new statement bag on the scene and we're VERY fond of it. Gone are the days of flashy, bright bags as luxury labels are sporting a more paired back, minimalist style.

Dakota Johnson and Rosie Huntington-Whitely are all major fans of the trend. If you don't fancy spending nearly €2,500 for it though, we spotted one here for a tiny fraction of the price.

There is probably nothing worse than putting on your most fabulous new outfit and at the end of the day realising that you’ve managed to dump pretty much your entire dinner on it.

The fear of wasting a good outfit on a bad day is surpassed by the fear of wearing your new white jeans somewhere where red wine is being served. In efforts to help ease your worries, and if the worst has already happened, we found some resources for you.

These are some of the best ways to get the worst food stains out of your clothing.

Tomato based sauces:

Scrape off the excess sauce, then cover the stain with a layer of clear dish soap. Then cover it with white vinegar before putting it under cold water and gently rubbing out the stain.

Red wine:

Put some kitchen roll on a table and put the stained clothing on top, so the stain sits over the kitchen roll sheet. Then cover the stain with baking soda. Then add tonic water so it bubbles. Fold the clothing over and rub the fabric together with your fingers.

Chocolate:

Cover the stain with milk and leave sit for five minutes. Then rub the fabric together to remove the stain with your fingers before rinsing in cold water. Wring it out and pour two tablespoons of your usual laundry detergent onto the stain. Then rinse the stain out.

Soy sauce:

Blot the stain to remove excess sauce. Cover the stain with white vinegar and use a cotton bud to work it into the stain. Then add some laundry detergent before handwashing under cool running water.

If you find yourself with more unusual stains that you just don’t know what to do with, then check out this helpful article about stain removal hacks.

Despite her sometimes-very-questionable outfit choices, we must admit: our mammies basically built the foundation for our love of clothes and fashion.

From where to shop for bargains to how to dress for an interview, our mothers have thought us a lot.

But in celeb-ville it's a toally different ball game. Not only do these mothers show their daughters how to dress, sometimes they actually dress the same and look just as young as their offspring while doing so.

Here are the top stylish mother-daughter duos:

Goldie Hawn and Kate Hudson

These two often look like sisters rather than mother and daughter. Maybe it's to do with the fact that they can both pull off tight LBDs.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith

At the beginning of Willow's career, mum Jada let her develop her own sense of style – and it definitely paid off. The pair keep things classic, with Willow adding a younger edge to outfits.

Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber

Cindy and her daughter pretty much have the same face, as well as the ability to look gorgeous in front of the camera at all times. We're jealous.

Demi Moore and Rumer Willis

Who is the mother here? Demi is never afraid to go for the younger look – and it pays off as she looks nearly as young as her stylish daughter.

Melanie Griffith and Dakota Johnson

The mother-daughter duo walked the red carpet together for this years Academy Awards and both looked beautiful and elegant. With extremely similar body shapes it's not hard to see where Dakota found her fashion sense.

We all know that the modern-day Kylie Jenner is close-to unrecognisable from her former self.

Indeed, not so long ago, the reality TV star and media personality was entirely fresh-faced and au natural. But – as anyone who's weathered those awkward teenage years will know well – a few short years can make ALL the difference.

Arriving at the VMAs last year in a full-length silk black gown, a then just 17-year-old Kylie certainly turned heads.

But little did we know then just how much further her transformation had to go.

As if to illustrate a point, last night she wore a stunning short creation from Balmain – also one of her sister Kim's favourite designers.

Sporting a deep tan from her recent jaunts to Mexico and St Barts, she matched the thigh-skimming number with coordinated heels, stacked silver rings and a bronze rectangular clutch.

She also wore a jet-black wig and dramatic dark eye make-up.

Later that evening, she also changed for the after-ceremony celebrations: although she kept on the same nude shoes, Ms Jenner, 18, decided to see out the night in a black bandage dress which showed off plenty of skin.

Which was your favourite look? Kylie 2014… or either of her two outfits from 2015?
