We are a little disappointed because we have just managed to overcome the fascination of matching shoes and handbags.

It takes a lot for us to part with our favourite cosmetics and a night out is not an occasion where we are willing to leave them behind. Three separate lip glosses in varying shades are a must and don’t you dare try and tell us otherwise.

Then someone comes along and invents this gem and it’s all over, done.

The Sassy Stash is exactly the kind of accessory you dream up when you’re stuck in traffic in a taxi and can’t for the life of you get your clutch to close. Don’t pretend you haven’t been there.

A photo posted by #mysassystash (@mysassystash) on Lucky for us then, this lace garter with inbuilt pockets has come along to ensure you never lose anything again. Keeping your phone strapped to your leg for safe keeping just got- dare we say it, kind-of stylish?

It’s not the worst looking gadget we’ve come across in recent times. Clearly the Sassy Stash is designed with just the bare essentials in mind however.

We don’t think you’ll be trying to strap your new camera to your thigh next weekend, there’s also the issue of keys. That might not be the most comfortable when you’re doing your best Beyoncé moves in the club.

We think that there is certainly potential for this to take off, but there might be some things to take into consideration.

If you use social media at all these days you have more than likely come across a few common trends. It’s very easy to jump on the bandwagon, we’re probably all a little guilty of one or more (or all) of these little quirks.

You have to admit that are a couple of these trends, mostly found crowding our Instagram feeds that might just bit a touch overdone.

These were just some of the trends that we think could everyone could take a break from every now and then.

The less-than stellar foodie snap.
We would actually prefer to see your sock collection again instead of another box of detox teas, thanks.

The 'candid' moment
Do you have a triple jointed wrist or does your iced latte actually levitate? Amazing.

The selfies
We love when people are confident and not afraid to show it, but we wouldn't mind seeing your actual outfit instead of 60 different versions of your contouring.

The legs POV photos
So you went to the Bahamas? It's hard to know when your sunkissed knees are taking up most of the frame…

Collages
We want to see all your excellent style we really do, but when you make a collage with 7 or more images that means we have to zoom. Instagram does not have a zoom feature!

Have you ever had that horrible moment when you bring your latest fashion purchase home and realise it looks completely different than it did in the shop?

You’re not alone, it happens to people everywhere, every single say. Needless to say, it can get frustrating.

In attempts to remove this annoyance from the lives of any and all shoppers, Buzzfeed went to 20 different dressing rooms to find out why we feel like shadow monsters in some, and fashionistas in others.

Kristin was able to divide the dressing rooms into various categories after her adventures.

  1. These had terribly harsh overhead lighting which she reported was not flattering
  2. Similar to a public bathroom, the overhead lighting wasn’t dedicated to a single stall, meaning everything gets a bit washed out
  3. Lights everywhere! Overhead lights combined with front lights were found to be unnecessary.
  4. The dressing rooms that allow for even the most pale to embrace their bronzed goddess.
  5. The ones that let you know exactly where all of your body parts belong, in case you forgot.
  6. The magic dressing rooms full of flattery.

After visiting 20 different dressing rooms and realising in almost each one she appeared entirely different despite wearing the same outfit, Kristin shared her findings:

“There is no such thing as “normal” lighting. But if you change your environment and you still like what you look like, then congratulations: You have won at shopping.”

She continued; harsh overhead lights are not flattering for anyone and those weird bumps and lumps are in your imagination, magnified by the lighting. Dressing rooms with vertical lights on either side of the mirror are amazing, just be careful you don’t get caught up in the excitement and blow your entire budget in one go.

Still not certain you want to proceed with your purchase? Apparently the wisest option is to try and step outside of the dressing room and take picture, or ask for someone else’s opinion. Just make sure your shopping buddy is someone you have style trust in.

We’ve all heard the stories of old-school friends who just don’t seem to get you anymore. It’s not that uncommon. Actually, it’s about as common as the daily panic many young women have trying to decide what is acceptable and what is not in their new workplace.

Growing up and becoming a fully-fledged adult is difficult. To try and ease the way for you just a touch, we put together a list of things that all twentysomething women really do not need to be worrying about.

Trying to live by a ‘5-year plan’

You really don’t need to have started a family, self-started a company and become president by the time you’re 27. Relax, no other time will you be able marathon New Girl all weekend guilt free.

Anything that has to do with sending texts

Was I too mean? Is that even funny? WHY HAS HE NOT TEXTED BACK? Wait, did I even text him back that time? Just stop. You have better more fun things to be doing.

Not having a party to go to every single Friday/Saturday

There ain’t no party like a pyjama party with take-away and a hair mask. Come on, you know that appeals to you more than you admit.

Trying to immediately have a 'young professional who is still on fleek' wardrobe

Unless you somehow managed to avoid a little thing called ‘rent’ and ‘entry-level’ salary, and no one does let’s be honest here, then you can calm down. Trust us, it takes a while to build up a stylish working wardrobe and no one is critiquing you.

Being alone forever

Would you rather waste the glory of your youth crying about a less than stellar significant other or would you rather be having the time of your life with new more fun guys and your squad?

Spending way too much money on travelling

The trip to Oz may cost a fortune but it will probably be one of the most memorable experiences of your life, go for it before your career takes over and you lose all of that ‘me time’.

Being 'skinny'

Are you happy? Excellent, that is the most important thing. Eat the pizza and stop caring what other people think.

We do love a good pair of heels around these parts, we can’t even try and deny that. There’s something about slipping a pair on and feeling like you really pulled together an outfit that’s a bit addictive.

Or when you find your favourite pair under the bed, put them on and know your look is really finished. That’s nice before you walk out the door.

However, one issue, they can be so painful. While there are many reasons why we love heels, sometimes we actually can’t stand them. We concluded these are just some reasons why high heels are actually the worst.

Running, jumping, dancing or just general activity doing is not that easy in heels

Men say they love them. Then why are they always wearing runners?

There are many surfaces completely off-limits in heels, including stairs.

It’s hard to look professional when you’re totally off balance

They don’t actually make you look that much taller, which is just ridiculous

They are SO uncomfortable, so eventually you just:

If there were any fashionistas out there hoping to turn their expertly curated Instagram feeds into a professional venture, we are so sorry but someone already beat you to it.

Instagram has become a style hub in recent times so we were not surprised to hear that they need a Head of Fashion to manage it all. Seeing as we sometimes rely on the social media site for serious fashion inspiration from time to time, we were actually kind of relieved.

The dream role of millions worldwide was bestowed upon former Lucky magazine editor-in-chief Eva Chen. She has 395,000 followers, just FYI.

An Instagram spokesperson has explained why Eva was chosen for the position and how she’s a perfect fit with the app.

“Eva understands all sides of the fashion community — from the craft of couture to street style, style icons to aspiring models, and storied fashion houses to emerging designers.”

She will take on the head of fashion partnerships role. Meaning she will be using her social media savvy to work with fashion bloggers and brands to promote Instagram’s role in the fierce world of fashion.

Eva even has her own hashtag on Insta, so you know she’s a legit die hard user of the ‘gram. She’s known on the app for a little something called the #EvaChenPose.

Quite simple: rock some on trend footwear, cross your feet and lie yourself across the back of a taxi. Oh, and don’t forget to show off your favourite bag while you’re at it.

Before you go out and spend all of the money you don’t have on fancy sportswear you may not wear after next week, stop.

We just found the most budget friendly wardrobe hack there is. You just need one pair of underwear. Sounds simple?

More like bizarre, because there’s one catch, men’s underwear is what you actually need.

We had heard of up-cycling before but this is next level DIY. There’s no denying that new ways of saving money and staying stylish are always welcome but this is a bit out there.

We’re trying to imagine sporting dodgy pre-loved briefs in a Zumba class. We're not exactly getting a Victoria's Secret Sport type of vibe…

You can actually turn them into a piece of clothing that’s functional and, dare we say it, kind of, sort-of, not that bad looking? One definitive positive to this unique style trend, you don’t have to sew one single stitch.

All you need is a pair of scissors and you have all the makings of a sports bra that’s perfect for low-impact activity. So more of a yoga type outfit than say, triathlon training.

One more thing, you will need to pick a pair that have a good sturdy waistband. That kind of goes without saying though, doesn’t it?

Also, wearing them over your t-shirt is completely optional, but if that’s what you want we’re not judging.

It was the rather bizarre photoshoot that caught our – and the world's – attention yesterday.

And now, thankfully, yet more shots have been released from the current edition of System magazine, which stars Kim Kardashian.

Styled by Kanye West, the photographs have certainly raised eyebrows – with many observers panning them as ridiculous.

Who knew, however, that Ms Kardashian was such a big fan of the great outdoors?

Taken several weeks ago at the sprawlling Château d’Ambleville in northern France, and by famed photographer Juergen Teller, the 34-year-old reality TV star can be seen posing up alongside some farm machinery.

She also lies out in a grassy field, and happily looks out onto the French countryside.

All these photographs, and more, appear in a special pull-out section of System, entitled Kanye, Juergen & Kim.

While fans are normally hugely supportive of Kim's forays into fashion, it seems many have drawn a line this time.

"I am dying of laughter and can't stop. Please I'm begging you no more," said one fan online. "I still can't believe they would release these shots," mused another.

"These photos wouldn't look out of place from 'Naughty Farmers Wives Monthly'. She looks absolutely ridiculous," suggested a third.

Mr Teller is a 51-year-old German photographer who is well known for snapping a host of high-profile names and faces.

He has held numerous exhibitions around the world, and is often behind the lens for designer label adverts.

Still, System is delighted with the publicity that the photographer and Kimye have now created.

Indeed, with a huge amount of interest from the US (where the publication is ordinarily not available) already, the editors have ordered a larger than normal print run.

A select few outlets outside of France have also been given a limited number of copies to sell, while from tomorrow the magazine will also be available for purchase from system-magazine.com.

Apparently we’re finally going to be receiving some long overdue heat next week. Met Éireann are saying there could possibly be temperatures of up to 20 and 24 degrees.

We don’t want to jinx it, we really don’t want to do that but- YAY!

Finally, an excuse to dust off those denim cut offs and head for the beach.

There’s just one downside; the added heat and general summer weather can take a serious toll on our hair. Nothing ruins a holiday like unmanageable frizz or nasty split ends.

Not to worry, we rounded up a few tips to help you master the summer hair woes and keep you on fleek whether you’re at the beach in Bundoran or jetting off to the Bahamas.

Problem: Chlorine can leave your locks less than lustrous

The Fix: Celebrity stylist Rita Hazan says the best way to combat this is to wet your hair before getting in the water. This stops the chlorine from being absorbed by your hair. Also, a deep conditioning mask wouldn’t go astray. If you apply it while you’re drying off in the sun the heat will help the product really help your hair recover.

Problem: The sun makes coloured hair brassy

The Fix: Hazan says that using a gloss twice a week before you condition as well as a nice weekly deep condition for coloured hair will help you keep your colour all summer long. Also wet your hair before diving head first into the chlorine, and when you’re on the beach, or strolling about town on a hot summer’s day, invest in some products with UV blockers. They’ll help your keep your style for longer and your colour plenty vibrant. Sorted.

Problem: “IT’S THE HUMIDITY!”

The Fix: The number one cause of fizziness is your hair being dry, so your tresses will draw water from the atmosphere, making it frizz. The easiest way to tackle this is by getting a good leave-in conditioner to help your extend your style and keep things under control. No cornrows necessary. Phew!

Any time we’re flipping through the latest glossy fashion magazines to hit the newsstands, or scrolling through the Instagram feed of our favourite fashion icons, we generally end up feeling less than enthused.

After all, who has a spare €200 to spend on Kanye latest Addidas trainers anyway?

In short, generally-speaking the most stylish women of the moment have limitless amounts of cash to throw around on their wardrobes.

Actually, most fashion editors could maybe use a reality check when it comes to informing us about the must-have bag of the season – we only just finished paying the bill for the last one!

However, you don’t have to frustrated any longer! With just a few simple tricks you can make your wardrobe appear on par with those sitting FRO at fashion week.

All black everything

Not just a Kylie Jenner catchphrase. A monochrome look will elongate your body and it always looks as if you’ve intentionally spent hours putting the look together. An all-white look will also do the trick. As long as your blacks match and your whites are bright, you’re guaranteed to gain some fashion credentials.

Add a belt and learn to tuck

Tucking in any shirttails or baggy jumper hems will give your look instant polish. Adding a belt will cinch your waist and give you an air of serious style diva. Paring your over sized scarf with your belt will open whole new wardrobe choices for you, also handy with our always changing weather situation.

Gold accessories

Who doesn’t love some gold accents? According to fashion editors adding some gold accessories to your look, either in the jewellery department or with a bag, is going to make you look like you stepped straight out of Vogue.

Have it tailored

It even sounds fancy. Instead of ripping the tags off and throwing away your receipts right away, take a day or two before flinging yourself into those brand new culottes and head to your local seamstress. A quick nip and tuck makes your look seem much more one of a kind, so instant style elevation.

Grab your iron!

This one seems obvious, and also your mammy probably warned you about this for years before you took your style seriously. Nobody likes early mornings, but five extra minutes to make sure your look is freshly pressed will add instant polish to your look, even some of your oldest and more well-worn pieces.

Despite being linked for close to a year – and despite their online displays of affection – they've yet to officially confirm their relationship.

Still, Tyga, 25, and 17-year-old Kylie Jenner have now made a very public declaration of just how close they've become… namely by co-ordinating their outfits while jetting out of LA yesterday.

Both clad in black pants and black tops – they also both wore the same shoes: trainers taken from Kylie's brother-in-law Kayne West's latest collaboration with Adidas.

As they went through airport security, the reality TV star even posted a shot of the footwear to Instagram along with the caption "necessities".

Since appearing in Miami at the Sugar Factory late last week, Ms Jenner has been plagued with rumours that she's recently opted to undergo a breast augmentation.

However, she took to Snapchat to rubbish the rumours – as well as taking the opportunity to show off her generous cleavage.

Kylie and Tyga are en route to France, where they will attend the Cannes Lion awards.

Despite initial reservations from her family about the union, it seems the Kardashian-Jenners have lately been more welcoming to the teenager's boyfriend. Indeed, Tyga was even invited to North West's 'family only' birthday bash at Disneyland.
