It has come to our attention that women on Instagram are giving themselves nose jobs from wax alone, and we simply have to find out the suss.

We ended up discovering a whole new category of beauty videos online, and the before versus after images of these ladies will BLOW YOUR MIND.

Needless to say, these gals are stunning before and after, but the entire process of changing the whole face with wax is just too damn fascinating to look away.

They literally change their eye colour, their bone structure, their noses and eyes with lashes, it's mind-boggling.

We are witnessing a total deconstruction of the face before our very eyes, people. This is science, don't even try to deny it.

"HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?", we hear you gasp. Well, it's actually special effects face wax, not clay or synthetics at all.

The newest trend has gone totally viral on social media, unsurprisingly.

The amazing wax method originates from Asia, specifically in Chinese territories, where women have been using make-up to sculpt their faces with wax as part of their beauty regimen.

Ben Nye, an LA-based makeup manufacturer is one such company who make the DIY wax.

“You can change the shape of anything on your face, like the nose, brow bone, chin, etc., using a wax like Ben Nye Nose & Scar Wax,” professional makeup artist Lottie told Cosmopolitan.

Now, sculpting your face with chunks of wax every morning as part of your make-up routine may not exactly be your vibe, but we guarantee some of your friends would agree to try this.

It's like an extreme form of contouring, how did they even think to try this?

It can't be denied that the videos are incredibly entertaining to watch, regardless of whether or not you'd try the trend yourself.

The rest of the world can now witness the glory of this magic, we owe Youtube and Instagram our lives for this.

Since the moment the clock stuck midnight on October 31, the Christmas season is upon us.

Well, some people argue that December is the only month allowed for the Santa hype train to leave the station, but we totally disagree. The Christmas tunes are blaring, ChristmasFM is almost back up and running, and the greatest jumpers are already in stores right now.

Finding the funniest, most glamorous or just plain ugly Christmas styles can be a tricky task. We've only gone and done you the favour of finding all the best ones. Thank us later, a Christmas card will do. Or maybe some mulled wine and mistletoe?

THE EXCITEMENT.

dance brings GIF

1. The drinking game jumper

First up, we've got an actual drinking game in woolly jumper form. There literally is nothing else as magical. Tipsy Elves have gifted us with this joy, order it from Amazon for €45 and you'll be the life of every festive party.

They even have the rules for the game printed on the back so you won't forget, and it comes with six balls for you and your pals. Hint: the bulls eye results in the entire party drinking. Good luck with that one…

2. The Jesus jumper

Up next, we have a Jesus Christ birthday jumper from Uppers and Downers, the current price is €59.

To be fair, the Christian holiday is supposed to be celebrating the religious day of Jesus' birth, so the fact that his face is on a jumper isn't unheard of.

It is most definitely unconventional however, especially seeing as he is sporting a birthday hat, a red balloon and a dove. To each their own, we say.

3. The Tupac tribute

Next, we've got an actual Tupac Christmas jumper. We didn't think it was possible either, but Tipsy Elves have only gone and done it.

Get your official "Only Santa can judge me" jumper for €35.50 from Amazon, and rest assured you will be the talk of the hip-hop town.

The resemblance between Tupac and Mr. Claus is uncanny… sort of…

4. The gin-lovers jumper

Gin lovers, this one is going to rock your world. Not On The High Street have released an exclusive Christmas jumper dedicated to a stunning gin pun.

GINgle Bells: we truly want to shake hands with whoever thought of this as a Christmas jumper concept, it's pure GINius.

It won't break the bank either, the website are releasing it for just €37, excluding shipping from the UK.

Get on this one ASAP, we have a feeling plenty of Bombay Sapphire, Cork Dry and Hendricks fans will be racing to purchase it..

5. The glow in the dark jumper

This next festive fashion piece looks pretty normal at first glance. That is, until the lights go off. The white material turns fluorescent green and the red material reverts to black, so there will be no difficulty in spotting you once night falls.

Yes, Jolly have legitimately created a GLOW IN THE DARK Christmas jumper. For an absolute steal as well; it's only €32.

If you are desperate to light up the party, this is the one for you.

6. The Brexit jumper

This next offer is tongue-in-cheek with a heavy dose of politics: Teespring have created a jumper based around Brexit. Seriously.

It's currently priced at €32.16, and has already gained traction online due to the controversy of the UK situation.

Will you be that person at the Christmas party who has one glass of mulled wine and engages in serious political debate throughout the night?

7. The Make Christmas Great Again jumper

This next one is yet another political figure reference, wear it if you dare.

Yes, someone genuinely took it upon themselves to design a jumper around Donald Trump. As if his face doesn't bombard us in every other domain…

Cloud City 7 appear to want to stoke some light-hearted Christmas cheer through a dash of controversy, for just €31 (delivery not included.) Keep the change, ya filthy animals.

 8. The Game of Thrones jumper

We are MAJOR fans of this next one, inspired by Game of Thrones, of course.

Funky Christmas Jumpers online are releasing this magical themed jumper for just €44.99

The twist on the classic phrase 'Winter is Coming' has us GASPING for Christmas (and the final ever season of the show, no biggie).

We recommend try building a Jon Snow-man to match the jumper, just' a thought.

9. The selfie jumper

The next joyous jumper we discovered is also from Funky Christmas Jumpers, and is about as millennial as they come.

A JESUS SELFIE jumper has indeed been created. Even more absurd, a COUPLES JESUS SELFIE jumper.

Stop the world, we're getting off.

10. The Tesco Value jumper

Last but not least, the Tesco Value Christmas jumper.

For those Christmas fans who want to keep things on the cheap, this offering is perfect for you.

We wonder if Supervalu, Dunnes Stores, Lidl or Aldi will release their own versions? Competition is healthy, folks.

There you have it, 2018's latest and greatest Christmas jumpers.

Grab yours in time for December you can wear it 25 days straight, that's our plan.

Which will you choose? Happy shopping, gals.

A massive high-five is coming Jean-Paul Gaultier way.

The fashion God has announced live on French telly that he is banning the use of real fur from his collections.

The move comes as Jean-Paul labelled the industry's methods of killing animals for their fur as "absolutely deplorable”.

The decision to move away from a cruel and unnecessary industry could come as Jean-Paul was feeling the heat from other brands.

Gucci, Versace, Galliano, Armani, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors – to name a few – have all recently announced the end of using real fur in their fashion collections.

Mimi Bekhechi, director of international programmes at the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) believes that the move away from real fur by the fashion director is a “sign of changed times”.

“Most people no longer wish to wear anything from animals who were cruelly caged, electrocuted, bludgeoned to death or caught in steel traps, left to die slowly and painfully–the way coyotes are still being killed for the trim on Canada Goose jackets," she explained.

“Fur today is as dead as the poor animals it was stolen from, and any designers not clued up enough to see that may as well hang up their sewing needles now”.

A post shared by Jean Paul Gaultier (@jpgaultierofficial) on

Peta could be correct, as the brand, Coach revealed at the start of the year, that they are starting to phase out the use of real fur, and added the aim of stop using the product entirely by next autumn.

Famously, Burberry announced before London's fur-free Fashion week, that they had halted the manufacturing of products using real fur.

Sadly, there are labels who haven't hopped aboard the cruelty-free train – *cough, cough*, Fendi, Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs.

But hopefully, they are influenced and pressurised by the changing times.

Nevertheless, this is a win for Jean-Paul Gaultier and the move should be celebrated.

We all have had a bad experience with heating tools and haircare: whether it's burning your scalp or just creating supremely dodgy curls for a night out, it's happened to us all.

Some gals even resort to teaching their boyfriends how to use hair tools to stop themselves from constantly getting burnt, and other gals just give up altogether.

Taming the mane can be tedious, frustrating and just downright PAINFUL. This Christmas, we're hoping to get a gift from Santa which will ultimately stop the problem of tangled brushes and applying aloe vera to our burns.

We have scoured the lands trying to find a tool that allows us to move our heads and hands around without the heat danger, and creates the perfect looks for day and night.

HALLELUIJAH: a new and improved version of the Instyler has just been released, and it just might save your life.

You might remember the original Instyler; in case you've been living under a haircare rock, it's become a huge name by transforming hair into big bouncy waves and straight, sleek locks.

The Instyler Max now comes in three glam colours: purple, black and pink, and we can't decide which one we want more.

Praise the Lord, no more burns. The Instyler Max has a rotating barrel addition which straightens, curls, and adds twice the amount of body to our hair. It works super fast so you won't be spending hours with aches in your neck staring at the mirror.

Trying to get picture-perfect hair can be tricky at best, re-creating glamorous curls or straight sleek looks from our favourite catwalk shows seems unfairly difficult considering we don't have a personal hairstylist on hand.

We are hoping (nay, praying) that this tool will be the answer to our hair prayers. Think of it like a mini-hairstylist that you can carry around in your bag.

Treat yourself, we are definitely nabbing this in time for our Christmas party.

Grab your new guardian angel of hair at www.instyler.ie for just €99.99, not bad considering it essentially gives you red carpet glamour.

Last night, the 2018 Victorias Secret Fashion Show went down in New York City.

Models, fashion insiders and VS veterans from all over the world descended on the venue, and among them was a selection of Ireland's most-followed influencers.

Louise Cooney sat mere rows away from the runway with fellow blogger and businesswomen Suzanne Jackson, and up-and-comer Belle Azzure.

However, while models such as Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima and Romee Stridje sartorially stomped down the runway, we were more than intrigued by Louise's ensemble.

From Revolve brand h.ours, Louise opted for a one-shouldered, semi-sheer dress with a split so high, the VS lingerie designers would have been proud.

The stunning dress's midnight blue hue was off-set with a smattering of silver sparkles.

h.ours Candy Dress €206.00, h.ours Behati mini dress €216.00

Louise went for a pair of strapped ASOS heels and a bouncy blow-dry to finish the look.

Much to our despair, Louise's exact dress, The Lilou, which retails for €184.00, is out of stock, but the brand has quite a few similar options.

It took less than 24 hours for the Cloud 10 Beauty 12 Days of Slay Gift Set to COMPLETELY sell out, that must be some kind of record. They are now releasing a waiting list for their second batch, thank God.

The famed online Irish beauty emporium decided that it was time to compile a gift of skincare and cosmetic treats, and the response was HUGE. The overall collection is worth €172 but is being sold for just €75, hence the massive rush to grab it.

The gift set features gorge beauty products from brands such as The Ordinary, Stila, DuWop and favourites such as the Benefit Gold Rush mini, Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm, PIXI Retinol Tonic and Vita Liberata Body Blur.

After the first drop flew out of stock in such a short space of time, pre-orders already flooded in for the second drop, which is set to ship in early December.

Pippa O'Connor Ormond, renowned Instagram influencer, said on her story last night that:

“Because it is such good value and the products are really good I know they will go quickly, so if you do want it I wouldn't be hanging around," and just after she revealed the set, they were totally gone.

It is well and truly the end of an angelic age. Supermodel and all-round BADASS lady, Adriana Lima, has bid an emotional goodbye to Victoria's Secret after walking in their star-studded catwalk show for the final time. We'd sob too.

Lima walked in her first Victoria's Secret show way back in 1999, and has remained one of their prime angels ever since. She is also a fan favourite, with many on the internet referring to her as… wait for it… THE GREATEST ANGEL OF ALL TIME. (#goat)

She is retiring from the infamous lingerie brand at the age of 37, and we have no doubt that hanging up those flawless diamond wings must be a difficult thing for the Brazilian supermodel, as VS cemented her career as a supermodel goddess.

The veteran model received a standing ovation as she carried out her final walk, wearing a sheer, sparkling top, blue lingerie, feathered beige heels and those statement wings. She looked like a vision, as per.

Lima was understandably tearful as she waved at the camera, saying goodbye to her fans and fellow angels with the glamour and grace of a true #angel. We're not crying. You're crying.

In a moving Instagram post showing her best moments from a compilation of 19 shows, Lima wrote a caption thanking the brand for all that they have done for her:

"Dear Victoria, thank you for showing me the world, sharing your secrets, and most importantly not just giving me wings but teaching me to fly. And all the love to the best fans in the world! Love, Adriana."

Lima is now a mother of two, and was the longest-serving Victoria's Secret model and Angel, as well as acting as a spokesperson for the company. She joined forces with them at the tender age of 18.

She has stomped the runway at the lingerie brand's annual televised show every year except 2009, while she was pregnant with Valentina, daughter number two.

She had been aiming to walk a total of 20 Victoria's Secret shows, as People reported back in 2017;

"Maybe more, I don't know. It's nature. I'm working out, I'm being healthy, so let's see how the body is going to turn out. But I enjoy it. So let's say 20."

However, this changed when Lima spoke about the long-term struggles of modelling, and the tribulations of focusing on body confidence while being permanently aware of what you look like.

A post shared by Adriana Lima (@adrianalima) on

She posted on Instagram:

"I had received a call for the possibility of filming a sexy video of me to be posted and shared in social media. Even though I have done many of this type, something had changed in me, when a friend approached me to share that she was unhappy with her body.

"Then it made me think…. that everyday in my life, I wake up thinking, how do I look? Was I going to be accepted in my job?"

"And in that moment I realized that majority of woman probably wake up every morning trying to fit in a stereotype that society/social media/fashion etc imposed…. I thought that's not a way of living and beyond that…. that's not physically and mentally healthy, so I decided to make that change," she continued.

"I will not take [off] my clothes anymore for [an] empty cause….. #Embraceyouself #natureisbeautiful #naturalissexy #LOVEYOU."

A post shared by Adriana Lima (@adrianalima) on

Her body confidence post inspired many fans to speculate that she was ending her ties with Victoria's Secret, which is renowned for the immense pressure it puts on it's models to look a certain way, and be a certain weight. It notoriously only showcases one body type on the runway.

The VS models are put through a gruelling exercise regime and diet, which many find almost impossible to endure for more than a few years. Adriana Lima, as the brand's longest-serving angel and mother-of-two, appears to have felt that the time was right to hang up her wings.

We'll miss her working those stunning catwalk #LEWKS every year, but her career is still booming. Age and beauty standards definitely won't hold this gal back.

We can only imagine how long it must have taken to decide on what to wear if you're one of the lucky ones who have access to the Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2018.

I mean you'd be surrounded by drop-dead gorgeous models, that would make any stunner look like an absolute potato.

However, Louise Cooney and Suzanne Jackson did the impossible and looked beyond glam behind the scenes of the iconic show.

Hitting ASOS, you can rock the jacket style with a houndstooth blazer for a cool €76.

Does anyone else agree that those weird military style shoulder buttons on your jacket are totally pointless?

Well, apparently they've held a purpose this entire time… our minds are more than a little bit blown.

A woman has kindly revealed this fact to those in the Twittersphere, and the internet has lost it's sanity as a result:

So, you mean to tell us that our bags are actually meant to sit on our shoulders… and not fall off?

But, is this not impossible? Like a long lost wish from an apparel genie?

Francheska Horsburgh, 18, from Cumbria has caused a minor meltdown with this information, and the photo has now been liked over 78,000 times. Good God.

What many people don't realise is that this style of shoulder feature is actually a military throwback.

Back in the day, these bad boys used to hold ammunition bandoliers, back packs and bayonets in place. They were also a sign of your military rank or insignia.

See gals, we can learn something new every day.

Drop this knowledge on your fellow gals and we guarantee they'll be SHOOKETH.

At the petite height of 5’2”, I identify with the short struggle when it comes to clothes shopping.

I had never felt more left out of current trends then when ankle-showing trousers became a thing. These were just normal full-lengthed trousers on me and don’t even get me started on cullottes.

Dresses, tops, skirts – for short shoppers, they can all be awkward lengths, too long or too short depending on the style.

Thankfully, PrettyLittleThing has come to the rescue by launching their latest petite clothing line.

PrettyLittleThing Petite features stylish outfits specifically designed with the under 5’4” girl in mind.

Stunning floor-length trousers and silky ensembles won’t have us tripping over our feet or pinning up a few inches of fabric.

The new line makes daily dressing effortless and will have you feeling sexy and confident in clothes tailored just for you.

Autumn oranges, chocolate, and beige hues paint the must-have pieces in the new collection.

This belted playsuit, zip up co-ord, and faux fur coat are some of our favourites in the petite line.

And these bum bag accessories add the perfect touch to these futuristic silver and neon outfits.

Cropped jackets are nearly impossible to find for petite figures so I was thrilled when I laid eyes on this stone-washed turquoise puffa coat.

Taylor Swift’s audience has grown and evolved with her since her debut self-named album was released, seeing Taylor don prom dresses, cowboy boots and ringlets in her hair, to the snake print leotard loving Taylor we know now.

Undoubtedly, her style persona has changed, and with her album release and Reputation tour that had the world SHOOK landing this year, it was a new era for Taylor Swift, and by default, time for a style evolution.

Taylor is personally responsible for some of the most popular fashion trends of the year, and we have compiled the ones that can slot easily into your current wardrobe.

Snake print

Taylor has had a huge year, with her now iconic Reputation tour selling our stadiums across the globe, and her epic clap back to her naysayers with a penchant for the snake emoji.

Taylor reclaimed her identity as a strong, fierce female, and used the symbol of the snake to portray her power.

The star kicked off this season’s snake skin trend with her references, and now there are few women walking down the high street sans-snakeskin.

Mega Metallics

Icy! Taylor recently nailed an upcoming Autumn/Winter trend at the AMAs when she rocked up in a disco ball-inspired mini dress.

The new season is all about metallic textures, and there are so many ways to wear them. Unlike Taylor, we don’t have star-studded awards ceremonies to attend, but it’s a simple style element to incorporate into a day to day wardrobe.

Try a silky silver shirt tucked into washed blue denim jeans, or make the jeans the statement with a metallic pair, worn with an over-sized turtleneck jumper and white runners.

Bright baker boy hats

Black baker boy hats are everywhere, but in a recent 60s style shoot, Taylor rocked lashings of mascara and a cream coloured baker boy.

And thus, a trend was born. Out went the black caps, and a new era of colourful, textured caps was ushered in.

Taylor’s mussed up, choppy fringed hair is the perfect perch for such a cap, but a sleek, straightened do adds another dimension to the vintage vibe.

Over-the-knee boots

Knee-high boots have been revolving on the couture carousel in recent years, but Tay-tay literally took them to new heights.

In her video for Look What You Made Me Do, Taylor cuts a striking figure in over-the-knee Louboutin red boots and an oversized hoodie.

The boots are a serious power play, and with the video displaying Taylor reclaiming her power from her haters, fans and followers clamoured for a slice of the look.

Bardot shirts

In an Instagram snap that broke the Internet, with over 2,000,000 likes, Taylor rocked a very interesting shirt, which had a bardot neckline element.

Draping your jacket bardot style has definitely been a blogger trend this summer, but Taylor encouraged her followers to wear the look in a more structured way.

After her Insta upload, featuring two of her die-hard fans getting engaged, the high street was awash with bardot style shirts and jackets.
