Not everyone is capable (or willing) of creating the seriously intricate and product-heaving Halloween makeup looks we see splashed all over Instagram at this time of the year.
From full faces of clown paint to special effect makeup, these labour intensive looks are amazing on completion, but take a lot of effort.
For those looking for a Halloween look with less commitment, blood eyeliner is the way to go.
The simple liner look is ideal if you want to look glamorous rather than scary this year.
Simply team the liner with a little black dress and some edgy fishnet tights for a Halloween look without the horror.
Best of all, the look can be achieved with items already in your makeup bag.
First, take your trusty eyeliner and draw the outline of the flick and the blood drips.
Then, fill in the shape with fake blood or a dark red lipstick.
If you only have a matte lipstick, you can draw on the highlights with white face paint.
Just make sure you add an excellent eye primer and a non-smudge setting spray.
