News that Ariana Grande is headlining Manchester Pride has caused quite a stir already, with many arguing that the ticket prices have become extortionate as a result of the big name booking.

However, Grande is once again under the spotlight as reports are claiming that she's getting paid €116,000 MORE than Kylie Minogue to perform.

Sources close to the pop star are claiming that the Thank U, Next singer is getting a HUGE €291,000 for her Pride show, which hasn't impressed ticket buyers.

This tweet caught the attention of Grande the other day, who responded to the criticism with an eloquent note defending her performance;

"Hi my love, I have nothing to do with ticket pricing- Manchester Pride sets those rates, and they’re mostly out of my control," she tweeted. "The LGBTQ community has been so special to me and supportive throughout my entire career."

"The relationships I have with my LGBTQ fans, friends, and family make me so, so happy,’ she continued. "I want to celebrate and support this community, regardless of my identity or how people label me. And also I wanna visit a city that means so much to me."

"LGBTQ representation is incredibly important, and I’m always proud to share the stage with LGBTQ artists! Over the years, pride events have been headlined by performers and artists of all sexual orientations and genders, including straight allies like Cher and Kylie Minogue," she said.

"I’m not claiming to be the hero of the community or the face of the LGBTQ rights movement – I just wanna put on a show that makes my LGBTQ fans feel special and celebrated and supported. That’s all I wanna do," she concluded.

People aren't impressed that Ariana Grande is getting over €116,000 more than Kylie to perform, with a source at The Sun writing;

"Obviously they’re both massive stars but Ariana is like gold dust at the moment, so the organisers offered her top whack to take part."

The 25-year-old has paid attention to the criticism, but claims that ticket pricing was out of her hands. Kylie Minogue herself has yet to comment on the whole debacle, but the pay difference is most likely due to Ariana's demand.

As a recent Grammy winner, as well as releasing two albums over the last six months which have both reached number one, she's one of the world's most popular pop stars.

7 Rings, Thank U, Next and Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored show no sign of leaving the charts anytime soon, and we definitely can't get them out of our heads. They're bangers.

What do you think of the debate on Manchester Pride? Is it acceptable for allies to get paid that much?

Olly Alexander from Years & Years recently pointed out that Pride will support more LGBT+ artists when people LISTEN to those artists' music, to hike up demand for them at festivals and concerts.

It's a two-way street; support can't just be shown one day of the year at Pride for LGBT+ musicians; it has to be 365 days a year for it to make an impact.

Pete Davidson, comedian and former fiancé of Ariana Grande, has returned to the stand-up circuit and things haven't exactly gone as planned.

He has continued to make appearances on Saturday Night Live, and his shows have gone relatively well all things considered. However, he ran into trouble last night with an insensitive heckler.

During his set at the South Orange Performing Arts Center in New Jersey, the 25-year-old comedian was in the middle of a joke, and said, “My friend died in my apartment,” when a fan yelled out "Mac Miller"?

recording obtained by TMZ hears Davidson immediately halting the show and asking, “Who’s that guy? We’re getting him out.” The room went silent as the SNL star urged the audience to point the heckler out.

He referred to the man who shouted the tasteless gag as a “f*ck-face," before threatening to leave the venue if the heckler wasn't kicked out.  “I will not continue until that kid is gone,” Davidson said in the clip. “Find him.”

His ex-fiancé Ariana Grande dated Mac Miller for years, before splitting with the rapper and he subsequently died of a drug overdose last September.

"I'll leave," Davidson can be heard saying. "So if you want the show continue, call out the person who did it, get him the f*** out. I don't deal with that s**t. This show is just for fun, so I'm not going to have that s**t at my show."

His comments were met by applause after the heckler was kicked out of the venue. Davidson has performed a number of stand-up shows in New York since the start of the year, but clearly has zero time for bullsh*t about his personal life.

Grande split from the 25-year-old in October, and paid tribute to ex-boyfriend Miller on her new album thank u, next and also thanked Davidson for his patience as she dealt with the trauma from Miller's death.

It's official: Ariana Grande has overtaken Selena Gomez as the world's most followed woman on Instagram. The figures are SO tight though; Ari now has 146,337,497 and Selena is slightly behind with  146,289,115.

Unfortunately for Thank U Next fans, Cristiano Ronaldo is still the most followed person, with 155 million followers compared to the Sweetener singer's 146 million.

However, considering everything Ms Grande has achieved this year, we believe she can gain the nine million needed in no time.

Billboard are claiming that Ariana gained a huge 13 million followers on the social media site over the last four months, coinciding with the release of her record breaking albums Sweetener and Thank U, Next.

Weirdly, it also comes at the same time as her break-up from former fiancé Pete Davidson in October. The pair made the headlines after the split, coming only five months after their engagements and six months after they began dating.

It was never going to end well, was it? Ari also had a turbulent time with the overdose and subsequent death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller.

More recently, she won the Best Pop Album Grammy award, and became the first solo artist to hold the top three Billboard Hot 100 singles (7 Rings, Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored and Thank U, Next), and hold the number one album spot at the same time.

Her online wars with the likes of Grammy producers who insulted her (how dare they??) and Piers Morgan has also drawn attention to her accounts.

Meanwhile, singer and actress Selena Gomez has lost followers after taking a four-month break from social media in September after entering a treatment facility for her mental health.

"Kindness and encouragement only for a bit. Just remember: negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings," she said.

Come on lads, lets dethrone Cristiano Ronaldo. Ari's Instagram game is far stronger…Just sayin'

Last night, the musician took to Instagram to request that her fans get clear perspex or plastic bumbags for her show, to make the security screenings easier for staff and attendees.

The strict measures come following the horrific Manchester bombing attack, which saw 22 people lose their lives in a terrorist attack at Ariana's concert in May of 2017.

There's no doubt about it: Ariana Grande is absolutely smashing the music industry right now.

From releasing two number one albums within six months and winning a Grammy to breaking records set by none other than the Beatles; she's achieved a huge amount in a short space of time.

She recently surprised adorable tween Filipino boy band TNT on yesterday's Late Late Show With James Corden, and opened up about her personal life.

Ariana has just broken an incredible record; Grande is the first artist since the Beatles to hold the number one album slot and Billboard Hot 100 top-three single slots at once, with 7 Rings, Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored and Thank U, Next.

Corden rattled off the crazy statistics while Grande responded with humble graciousness and no less than 13 “sorrys,” “I’m sorrys,” and “I’m so sorrys.” It's the new "yuh".

Grande laughed along with the talk show host after the overwhelming achievements, and assured him, “I’ll take a break after this. I’ll go away for a little, I promise.”

Thank God, Corden spoke on behalf of us all when he responded with, “We don’t want you to,” but Grande was quick to reply, “I do! I’m tired of my voice.”

The 25-year-old star added that recently, “I usually don’t have anything to do …Personal life is still nonexistent,” and that she was planning on celebrating the Billboard records by going out to dinner with her mom or recording more in the studio.

The gal has an insane work ethic, and can do no wrong it would seem. 2019 is most definitely the Year of the Grande, and her tour starts in four weeks. We WISH we had tickets to see the queen perform in person.

Carry on slayin' the game Ari, we say "yuh" instead of "I'm sorry" because you should NEVER apologise for your hard-earned success. Get it, gurl.

Ariana Grande has some SERIOUSLY dedicated fans, who will back her up no matter what the circumstances are. Even if it means destroying a new song of hers to replace it with a slightly newer banger.

The Sweetener singer has proven herself to be a good sport, and now she's supporting a campaign against her own single (and pure BOP) 7 Rings.

The pop star's fans have randomly launched a movement called #Boycott7Rings in order to dethrone the song from the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, but not for the reason you think…

Basically, the 25-year-old singer has dropped track after track for her loving fans, and they want her latest single Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored to take the number one spot.

The song features on her new album (the second in six months) called Thank U, Next, and has some pretty controversial lyrics.

Some call it toxic femininity to encourage a man to break up with his girlfriend to get with her, others say it's just another incredibly catchy banger from our gal. Oh, and the video features the SEXINESS of Charles Melton.

If you're unfamiliar with Melton's work, he's basically one of the hottest lad on the Riverdale planet. And there are many of those, as we know.

Ari's fans are either sneaky or pure genius, we can't decide. It seems the singer herself is very open to the chart swap, throwing her support behind the campaign.

She wrote to Twitter; "Y'all are so insane and funny and I love you. Nothing's funnier than “boycott seven rings”….. I can’t. Whatever’s meant to be will be, babies. I ain’t going nowhere."

They really are insane. To be fair, the campaign is a total win-win for pop's reigning princess.

Fans begged her to tweet the hashtag, which she did but later deleted, writing, "Are you happy now?" We're guessing they were ecstatic.

An especially devoted fan is having a streaming party to block the song, to which Ariana replied:

"This is a wild time for us, do ur thing but also like how is this our problem right now …… what the f*ck." Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored is 100 percent a stand-out hit from her new album, and the saucy music video is helping.

The gal can't escape the huge chart success, so we wish her our congrats. She deserves it with all those tunes she's dropping, and even got a Grammy out of it.

Nicki Minaj has come out in support of Ariana Grande after her argument with Grammy producer led to her cancelling her performance and appearance at the awards.

Minaj has blasted producer Ken Ehrlich for "bullying her for seven years" just days after the Thank U, Next singer called him out for "lying" about her.

The Queen rapper's comments come after she pulled out of a BET Experience performance when the network made fun of her for losing out to Cardi B at the awards.

She wrote on Twitter; "I pissed off the same man Ariana just called out for lying. Grammy producer Ken. I was bullied into staying quiet for seven years out of fear, but I’ll tell my fans the real on the next episode of #QueenRadio, they deserve the truth."

The Good Form rapper has not won a Grammy in her 16-year music career, which is a big surprise considering how successful she's been as a female rapper in a typically male business.

Sex and relationship blogger, Oloni, questioned her lack of accolades, saying; "Nicki Minaj has been at the top of her game for way too long to not have had a Grammy. I don’t know what white man from the boards she pissed off."

Minaj responded by thanking her fans: "Whether I read it or not, I felt it. From the bottom of my heart. I love you so much. So so so so much. Stay tuned."

Ariana also put Ehrlich on blast last week after there was a disagreement over her song choice. On Thursday the star spoke out about the situation, calling out Ehrlich for "lying" about her to the Associated Press.

He said; “As it turned out when we finally got the point where we thought maybe it would work, she felt it was too late for her to pull something together for sure. And it’s too bad. She’s a great artist. And I’d love to get her in the show this year.”

Ari wasn't too pleased:

She called bullsh*t on his statements, responding on Twitter;

"I offered three different songs. It’s about collaboration. It’s about feeling supported. It’s about art and honesty. Not politics. Mot doing favours or playing games. It’'s just a game."

"I’m sorry but that’s not what music is to me," she concluded, basically saying Thank U, Next. "Passed a Grammy’s bus with my face on it typing those." SASS KWEEN.

She later posted; "Hope that helps everyone understand my decision. ‘I am still grateful for the acknowledgement this year." She went on to win Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener.

Nicki is 100 percent team Ariana, that's for sure.

“I’m always honoured to be included. Now to get this sick baby in the bathtub. Congrats to all the nominees! Have fun tonight.”

Ariana Grande has reportedly pulled out of her Grammy Awards performance after having a disagreement with the producers over which songs she would perform.

Sources at Variety are claiming that she felt "insulted" after the producers refused to allow her to sing 7 Rings, her latest single from upcoming album Thank U Next.

The album is due out two days before the Grammys, and the 25-year-old singer has appeared on billboards across the USA promoting the show, which takes place this Sunday.

Not only will she not be performing, she won't even be in attendance. YIKES…also devastating. We'd have loved to see her perform.

A compromise was apparently reached where 7 Rings could be sung as part of a medley, but she pulled out after the producers insisted that the second song choice was theirs to make.

The source also stated that such stipulations were not imposed on any other show performers, which is interesting.

Grande has been absolutely KILLIN' IT this year, with Billboard number one album Sweetener and singles Thank U Next and 7 Rings.

Who can forget the tunes God is a Woman and Breathin' too? She's been a gift. She's nominated in some of the Grammys biggest categories, including Best Pop Vocal Performance for God is a Woman and Best Pop Vocal Album.

The story is super similar to that of Lorde, who pulled out of the Grammys performance last year when producers told her she wasn't allowed to perform a song from her second album, Melodrama, which was nominated for Album of the Year.

Hmmm…suspicious. What's up with the producers?

The whole Ariana Grande 7 Rings tattoo debacle is honestly absurd, but yet it's STILL GOING. We're getting as bored of it as she is to be honest…

If you're puzzled about the reference, in summary our home-girl Ari tried to get a tattoo which translated to 7 Rings, her latest number one hit, but instead she accidentally got the Japanese symbol for a barbecue grill restaurant. Awkward.

She then tried to fix it after consulting a supposed friend of hers who spoke the lingo, but her amendment translated the ink to say 'Japanese BBQ finger'. We're dead.

The Thank U, Next singer has gained a HUGE amount of attention online over the error, but now a certain tattoo removal studio has offered her some serious cash to have them laser it off for her.

TMZ has acquired an offer letter from LaserAway, a company who want to strike a deal with Grande that would offer her free laser removal of the tattoo in exchange for a photoshoot at LaserAway and one post per month for a year about her experience.

Also, ONE and a HALF MILLION DOLLARS. How do they even have that money to offer in the first place?

In response, Ari tweeted; "I'll give y'all a million to get off my nuts." to which we say; "Hear, Hear." This needs to end, stat.

Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber's infamous manager, Scooter Braun, responded to the claims;

"I can't speak for Ariana as we have not received this letter, however, if they're willing to send me the offer, I'm sure I'd be happy to get a tattoo and then remove it real quick … for $1.5 million." Eh, WHAT?

Image; TMZ

Braun continued; "Hopefully, we can make this deal before her album comes out next week…shameless plug."

The offer letter is signed by company president, Todd Heckmann, and genuinely concludes with, "Thank u, next tiny barbecue grill." We can't.

What a wild ride…we want to get off now, it's becoming a bit much.

He sees it, he likes it, he wants it, he GETS IT. America's Next Top Model icon Nyle DiMarco, who is also an avid activist for the ASL community, has created his own version of Ariana Grande's 7 Rings music video in American Sign Language.

AND IT'S AMAZING. With DiMarco's assistance, the video was directed by Jake Wilson, and features a range of models absolutely slayin' the game to Ariana's number one hit song, alongside closed captions.

DiMarco was the second male winner and first winner who is hard of hearing to be crowned America's Next Top Model. He's been a public advocate for closed-captioning videos for the deaf community ever since.

He asked Grande herself via Twitter to request that her thank u, next video be available with closed captioning for the “466 million people with hearing loss” who want to view the art too.

"Deaf here and we do enjoy your music," Nyle added. He has been campaigning for representation for years, and has achieved some major milestones while he's at it.

He also reached out to Vevo, writing, "You earn more than $650 million per year and can't even add captions to Ariana Grande's thank u, next video."

"There ARE closed caption service that will cost you ONLY six dollars (or less) to instantly appeal to a wider audience," he added.

"There are 466 million people with hearing loss, thank u, next."

YAS HENNY. He's right, of course. The deaf community face struggles with music videos daily, with only a handful of major artists providing closed-captions on their video work.

Grande took notice of the criticism, and made sure that when her 7 Rings music video debuted this month, there were lyrics available to read onscreen

DiMarco has now released an ASL version of whole iconic music video, and he's looking INCREDIBLE in a diamanté fishnet top;

Him and his male model pals are killin' it in the video, recreating Ariana's girl power song with American Sign Language to boot. Fair play lads, fair play.

Representation matters, and we all have to play a role in encouraging the fight against albeism.

Nyle continues to break down the barriers for his community, we're so glad Ari took notice.

Just two days after telling the world she'd drop the tracklist and cover art for her newest album, due February 8, Ariana Grande essentially said "F*ck it". And we love her for it.

She's only gone and posted them EARLY, sharing the iconic tracklist (Break up with your girlfriend, I'm bored is our fave) and debuting the cover art for Thank U, Next.

The cover is, of course, pink. Our homegirl Ari is also upside down, with spraypaint across her chest reminiscent of the 7 Rings cover.

The 25-year-old is maintaining her "Zero f*cks given" attitude following the release of the groundbreaking album Sweetener in August.

With 12 new tracks for us to obsess over, including Imagine and Thank U, Next, the work is sure to be a hit.

Grande is doing things exactly as she likes, whenever she likes, and the art is celebrating strong, empowered and SINGLE women.

Telling her fans, "This is my favourite album cover, I think. Brain painted me. Fredo shot me. Made with true, deep friendship and love, just like this music."

Adorable, she clearly has a wonderful support system of family and friends around her since her much-publicised break-up with Pete Davidson.

The singer has claimed she's stanning the single solo life in 2019, after being asked who she's dating now; "Spoiler for the rest of this year/probably my life: it's no one."

After Ari's upside-down Christmas tree, to embody her life currently being in an upside-down universe, she's brought that energy to her latest album artwork.

While her life remains topsy-turvy, Grande's here for it. "This time she kinda…f*cks with it." Damn right, she does.

2019 is going to be Ariana's year, we can feel it. If you need us we'll be blasting 7 Rings on our way to Tiffany & Co.
