Singer unveils her wacky new tattoo to the world

Katy Perry has always been a proud Hello Kitty fan, and now she has made her love for the cute character eternal.

The singer took to social media last night to share a snap of her latest inking of – you guessed it – a Hello Kitty face!

Now that is fan dedication for you.

The 30-year-old posted an Instagram picture of her new tattoo, on the side of her right middle finger, writing: “Does this make my gang signs look soft now?”

This is the latest addition to the star’s growing collection of ink. She also has a “Jesus” name tattoo on her left wrist, a strawberry on her ankle, a peppermint swirl on the other ankle, and a quote which translates as “Go with the flow” on the inside of her right arm.

Katy celebrated her 30^th birthday in style last week, holding a special party for 70 of her loved ones at the luxurious Amanjena Hotel in Morocco.

Perhaps she got her new ink to mark the milestone? What do you think of it?

Kelly Osbourne has paid a very special tribute to her friend, the late Joan Rivers.

The star, who was extremely close to her Fashion Police! co-star, has revealed a new tattoo dedicated to the comedienne.

Taking to her social media channels to unveil her bee inking, the 29-year-old hailed Joan as her “miracle”, writing:

“‘If you looked at aerodynamics, at science, the bumble bee should not be able to fly. Physically, it was just not anatomically equipped to soar. Yet it did, defying gravity, defying logic. The bee was a creature that defied and beat the odds, a miracle.’ Thank you for being my Miracle”.

The former reality star headed to the famous Shamrock Social Club tattoo parlour in Hollywood for her latest piece of artwork.

Kelly was devastated after learning the news of Joan’s death last month, saying that “losing her was like losing my second mom.”

What a sweet dedication to Joan.

We think it’s safe to say that Miley Cyrus has a tattoo addiction.

The Bangerz star has only gone and gotten inked yet again, just days after unveiling another tattoo homage to her brother.

We hate to sound like our mothers here, but she won’t have any bare skin left at this rate!

The latest addition to Miley’s ever-growing tattoo collection is a cute little alien on her knuckle, to go with the eye, love heart and watermelon slice drawings on the surrounding digits.

Just in the time for Halloween, then!

This is Miley’s second trip to the tattoo parlour since touching down in Australia last weekend.

The singer paid a visit to the popular Eureka Rebellion Trading parlour after flying in to Melbourne, getting brother Braison’s nickname ‘Wukong’ inked onto her wrist.

Braison has repaid his sister’s rather sweet dedication already, by getting her initials ‘MRC’ emblazoned onto the side of his baby finger.

There is a lot of love going on in the Cyrus family!

In case you didn't know, Miley Cyrus REALLY loves tattoos.

The singer had barely touched down in Australia when she decided to add to her growing collection, heading to the popular Eureka Rebellion Trading parlour to get some new ink.

With a lip tattoo of a crying cat, and another that reads ‘Love Yer Brain’, we could only imagine what she opted for this time around. So no, we weren't a bit surprised to hear that she got the word 'Wukong' printed onto her wrist!

At first we were well and truly puzzled at what the word ‘Wukong’ meant, but it turns out that it is actually the nickname Miley has for her brother, Braison.

The owner of the tattoo parlour said that Miley’s artwork was “just a small piece as she’s got tiny arms”, and was designed by the Wrecking Ball singer herself.

“She was awesome, she’s such a rad girl,” he added.

We actually think the tattoo is a really sweet idea!

Woah – what did Antonio do to annoy Melanie so much?!

When Melanie Griffith and husband Antonio Banderas famously announced their separation a few months ago, many wondered – what is she going to do about THAT tattoo?!

More recently, the actress has been seen out and about with the tattoo covered, prompting rumours she is getting it removed or altered.

However, she has finally spoken out about her plans for the tattoo, saying she is going to get “F*** You” as a replacement…classy!

Although, we’re sure Melanie was just joking.

Or maybe that was just her telling the photographers to leave her alone!

Remember when Kelly Osbourne got a tattoo on her head? Well, there was a pretty good reason behind it, apparently.

Kelly has a big announcement to make, and by the looks of it, she’s been planning it for a while!

The TV star has not yet revealed the big news, but it seems to have something to do with a new project called Stories… By Kelly Osbourne.

Kelly has been uploading lots of teasers for the announcement, the tattoo being one of them.

Her most recent clue was a drawing on the project’s official Instagram page with the caption: “Something to write home about… #storiesbyKO Have you guessed yet?!? XO Kelly.”

This doesn’t sound too good at all, Sarah Harding.

The former Girls Aloud member had some not-so-nice things to say about Cheryl’s tattoo recently.

Comparing her own tattoo to Cheryl’s infamous bum artwork, Sarah said: “Oh God, it’s ridiculous. My tattoo has meaning. I don’t know what hers means.”

We know Cheryl’s tattoo may not be to everyone’s liking, but perhaps Sarah should have kept quiet on that particular subject…

An old ex-girlfriend of the One Direction star Harry Styles may not be as over him as we thought.

Former Xtra-Factor presenter Caroline Flack posted a topless photo of her new back tattoo on Instagram, but we think it’s a little reminiscent of something.

One of Harry’s most famous tattoos is a butterfly on his stomach.

Though Caroline’s design is slightly different, we wonder if Caroline was subconsciously thinking of a certain someone when she had it done.

The two dated briefly in 2012 after meeting on the X-Factor. The match was met with controversy due to the pair’s 14 year age difference.

Caroline’s current squeeze is 25-year-old music manager Jack Street.

What has Glenda Gilson done?!

The Irish star posted a photo of herself getting inked up onto her Twitter account earlier.

Glenda appears to be proving just how much she loves her husband-to-be by getting his name tattooed on her upper arm in a heart.

The model and TV presenter captioned the photo: "The things you do for love."

Glenda and her fiancé, Rob MacNaughton, are getting married on August 29th at the exclusive Doonbeg resort in Co. Clare.

The ink was carried out by famous tattoo artist, Ami James, but we're not convinced…

Newly-wed Cheryl Cole is saying ‘cheerio’ to her ‘Mrs C’ tattoo!

Cheryl had the tribute to ex-hubby Ashley Cole inked on the back of her neck after their wedding in 2006.

But following her surprise marriage to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini, she is desperate to get rid of it.

Cheryl has already had a consultation with US ink artist Nikko Hurtado, the man behind her epic ‘rose bum’ tattoo last year.

And she has asked him to fly over to London to remove the tattoo ASAP!

The X Factor judge is said to be in a rush to have the ink removed as a sign of respect for her new hubby, and to show Ashley that she’s moved on in a massive way.

It looks like the writing is well and truly on the…neck with this one Ashley!
