Taylor Swift

Joe Jonas appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week and played "Plead the Fifth," a game in which the host, Andy Cohen, asked him three questions and Joe could only decline to answer one.

The first question, which had been put to Joe's brother Nick just weeks previous, was in regard to the size of their manhood.

"Which Jonas brother is the most well-endowed?" Andy asked. Joe smirked, saying, "You know, these are Nick's words, not mine, but he said he was going to say me, so I'll say me."

The next question was about Joe's music… "In April, you mentioned that you wrote a song that is going to 'piss someone off.' Who is the person and have they heard the song yet?"

Joe danced around the question a little, before ultimately pleading the fifth.

The final (and best) question was described as  "Marry, Shag, Kill: Joe Jonas' Exes Edition."

The Cake by the Ocean singer was asked to choose between three of his very famous ex-girlfriends: Gigi Hadid, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato.

"I'll marry Demi, she's a friend." (Awwww)

The pressure was on to make a decision between Taylor and Gigi (who happen to be besties).

"Um, Shag Taylor, kill Dem—kill Gigi. There you go."

Joe dated Taylor swift back in 2008 for a few months, followed by Demi Lovato in 2010.

Most recently, Joe dated model Gigi Hadid, but the couple broke up suddenly earlier this year, and there is clearly some bad blood between them.

A lot of celebrities have been weighing in on the Taylor-Kim-Kanye debate, with many taking sides, so it's kinda refreshing to hear that one star is on neither side and actually finds the whole thing BS.

Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario was being interview by Cosmo, and even though the conversation started off with politics, it soon turned into the politics of celebs – namely of Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

When asked about the Kardashian fam, Troian said: "Oh God, I have such an aversion to the Kardashians because I literally don't understand people's obsession with them and I don't want to accept them as our closest thing to a royal family."

However, on the flip-side, the actress also revealed that she's "appalled" by Tay's 'false feminism'.

"It seems like she's this person who's like, 'Sisterhood!' and then she does nothing but tear down the women that were once her friends."

Buuuuurn.

With everything that's been going on of late – Kim, Kanye, Calvin & Co. – understandably, Taylor Swift hasn't had much time to tend to her usually busy social media platforms.

However, she has now emerged from self-imposed digital exile, taking to Instagram to mark the 24th birthday of her BFF Selena Gomez.

Posting a throwback snap of the duo making a heart with their hands, the singer wrote: “Going through old pictures today, because @selenagomez just turned 24!

“I can’t imagine my life without you, Selena. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!”

Selena has had her friend's back in recent weeks, as Ms Swift, 26, manages the fall-out from her Kimye feud, the breakdown of her relationship with Calvin Harris, and her new romance with Tom Hiddleston.

And the birthday gal also took to Twitter today with a 26-second long acoustic-sounding snippet from a forthcoming song.

"Did this on my birthday… coming soon. Thank you so all the love. I love you guys, God bless," she wrote as she shared her new music.

Significantly, the unveiled lyrics sang: "The world can be a nasty place. You know it; I know it.

"Still you don't have to fall from grace. Put down the weapons you fight with."

Which, coincidently, we reckon sound mighty suitable for Ms Tay-Tay Swift.

Over the course of just four days, Kim Kardashian has gone from reality television superstar to the woman single-handedly responsible for the possible collapse of the Taylor Swift empire.

And with Taylor refusing to comment publicly – aside from a brief response on Instagram – one could be forgiven for thinking that the Grammy Award-winning star had managed to turn the other cheek, and is simply waiting for the dust to settle.

But it sounds like the mood in the Taylor camp is far from chill right now, with the Blank Space singer admitting she's terrified Kimye have more up their sleeve.

"At this point Taylor does not know what to expect, she feels like they are capable of anything," an insider told HollywoodLife.

"She wouldn’t even be shocked if they pulled some sort of shady editing to make it look like she agreed to stuff that she didn’t," the source continued. "Taylor feels like she’s at war with monsters, it’s very scary."

According to the source, Taylor is feeling particularly conflicted right now and is deliberating between making her voice heard and wanting the whole situation to go away.

"She wants to stand up for herself but she’s also afraid of dragging it on, in some ways suing them is just going to be giving them what they want."

"But she is very clear that she had no idea that the call was being recorded, which means she can go after them in court,” the insider explained.

“Right now Taylor‘s taking the time to decide if she wants to keep the negativity going and sue them or just try to put this behind her. She does really want to clear her name though, so the word is she’s leaning towards suing."

We can only imagine Kimye's response to that.

With half of Hollywood consumed by the latest instalment in the Kardashian/Swift feud, it was only a matter of time before reality star couple, Heidi and Spencer Pratt, decided to grab a little air-time by weighing in on the discussion.

No stranger to high-profile spats, the couple, who made a name for themselves on MTV's The Hills, offered an analysis of that now infamous phone call, and suggested that Taylor may have felt backed into a corner by the Life of Pablo star.

"I think she played it a little too cool, she was too nice," opined Heidi. "Even if there was more of that phone conversation, it doesn't matter. She wasn't clearly communicating one point."

While Taylor was undoubtedly cool with the lyric which suggests she and Kanye may still hook up but outraged by the use of the word 'b*tch', Heidi admitted she didn't understand Tay's take on that one.

Referring to the line about having sex with Taylor, Heidi said: "That would have disturbed me. Who cares about the B-word? I don't owe you anything."

According to Cosmopolitan, Spencer thinks the leaked footage gave an insight into the real T-Swizzle as opposed to the media-trained Grammy Award-winner we're all used to.

"This is the most I've heard Taylor maybe be the real Taylor, where she's talking about being on the red carpet, how she's gonna talk to the media, spinning her pitch… I think Taylor should've been on the cover of Forbes," he said.

Expressing concern for Taylor's new bae, Spencer suggest that the British star wasn't ready for the unstoppable machine that is the Kardashian dynasty.

"He signed up just to take out Calvin Harris. I don't think he was ready to go against Kim, Kanye, and Khloé Kardashian."

Hmmm, we might be with him on that one…

Sharon Osbourne has added her name to the long list of celebrities weighing in on Taylor Swift’s never-ending feud with Kim Kardashian and her rap star husband Kanye West.

Speaking on US chat show The Talk today, Sharon advised Taylor to forget pursuing legal action and move on from the drama as best she can.

The X Factor judge told her co-hosts: “I think that Taylor should go back to what she does best, writing her songs, recording.”

“Forget – it's got to stop. The whole thing with Taylor Swift and Kanye West and now the Kardashians are coming in, it's ugly.”

According to The Express, the 63-year-old reality star advised Taylor to “rise above” the drama and go do her own thing, before openly describing Kanye West a “bully”.

She said:  "It would be so bad for her [Taylor] if she does take this to the next stage. Just let it go. Everybody knows that he [Kanye] is a bully."

The infamous battle of the stars was reignited earlier this week when Kim used Snapchat to air a recorded conversation between Taylor and Kanye for the world in what seems to be proof that the Bad Blood singer did approve Kanye’s controversial Famous lyrics.

In the song the Yeezy designer said he and Taylor “might still have sex” and claimed he “made that b*tch famous”.

Given all that’s gone on, we think Sharon’s advice is actually pretty damn sensible.

In comparison to the ladies in Taylor Swift's celebrity squad, Abigail Anderson has pretty much flown under the radar…until now, that is.

But it looks like recent developments have lit a serious fire under Taylor's childhood friend, and unlike Tay's celebrity pals who made cryptic comments online in the aftermath of Kim's leaked footage, Abigail leaped right in there and called Kimye out on their actions.

Focussing her attention on Kim and Kanye's eldest child, North, Abigail tweeted a prayer in honour of the child while making her feelings for her parents known.

"Lord, hear my prayers," Abigail began. "I pray God helps your daughter understand, that despite how many times she’ll hear daddy reference all women as 'b**ches,' she isn’t one."

"I pray she understands her father actually IS faithful to her mother, despite all the adulterous comments she will hear her father making," she continued.

"I pray that she will understand 'adultery and b**ches' are just daddy's form of art and not to worry because not every man thinks like him."

Asking Kim and Kanye to reflect on the decision they made to record the phone call before leaking the footage, Abigail added: "May God forgive you and your wife for doing to others the very things you pray are NEVER done to your daughter."

After receiving a barrage of abuse following her posts, Abigail explained that she was forced to delete the tweets, writing: "For the record, I usually delete my tweets once the death threats start rolling in."

Implying she stands by her convictions despite ridding her page of them, Abigail added: "Nothing more or less than that. #MovingOn."

Unfortunately for Abigail and Taylor, not everyone appreciated Abigail's approach to the issue, with one writing: "How can U talk about praying for someone's daughter? Loser! Pray for URself & leave children out of it! Play victim like Taylor now!" (sic)

"Ah..I just read it. Lol.No wonder Abigail and Taylor hung out alone in high school, they were probably self righteous mean girls," added another.

People often wonder what incredible things they'd do if they ever achieved celebrity status but buying out a cinema for a night probably wouldn't top most people's lists – unless you're Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift, that is.

It has been reported that the celebrity couple were so mad to watch the new Ghostbusters flick last Thursday night that they bought out an entire cinema in Australia's Golden Coast.

According to The Daily Mail, the celebs booked out the high end Gold Class Cinema so they could visit the movies with Tom’s friends Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo.

The group reportedly only allowed two staff members to serve them food and drink inside the theatre and according to Us Weekly: “One [girl] served everyone else, and one girl served Taylor only.”

While speaking to Variety on Friday night, Bond hopeful Tom confirmed the outing by saying: “Chris Hemsworth bought a round of tickets for Ghostbusters and a group of us went to see it.”

“It’s been a great day: I got to play on set with Mark Ruffalo and Chris Hemsworth, went to see Ghostbusters, and then I got nominated for an Emmy,” he continued.

Chris plays the receptionist character Kevin in the remake of the hit fantasy movie and in a sweet moment Tom admitted that seeing one of his best friends perform in one of his favourite childhood films was “amazing”.  Awh!

Ellen Degeneres is like the aunty who makes everyone feel safe, warm and loved, so it's no real surprise that Taylor Swift has her sights set on Ellen's couch for her first interview alongside new boyfriend Tom Hiddleston.

With media outlets falling on Tay and Tom's burgeoning romance – and the cynicism that surrounds it –  with glee in recent weeks, it seems the couple are determined to set the record straight, and who better to help with that than Hollywood's soundest chat show host?

According to The Daily Star, a source has claimed that the Shake It Off singer thinks an interview with Ellen would not only boost the couple's profile in a positive manner, but also help silence their critics.

"The simple truth is that Taylor is in love and, as well as showing off her new man to her fans, she feels a friendly interviewer like Ellen could really help boost their standing as as power couple, as well as Tom's Hollywood career."

"Taylor is already the highest paid star in the industry, and Tom's acting career is on a massive upward trajectory," they added when outlining Taylor's rationale for wanting to lay everything bare for the viewing public.

But whether Taylor's plans will come to fruition in the near future remains to be seen as she's currently focussing on defending herself against considerable criticism following today's leaked footage of her conversation with Kanye West,

That girl is putting out fires all over the place these days.

Having your girl's back is the number one rule of friendship, and it looks like Selena Gomez might have her work cut out for her this week.

With her BFF, Taylor Swift, coming in for seriously harsh criticism on social media this morning, the former Disney star did what any self-respecting BFF would do, and desperately attempted to deflect attention away from the media circus that is the Swift/ West feud.

Soon after Kim Kardashian leaked footage of Taylor appearing to approve the Kanye West lyrics which she always maintained she hadn't, Selena took to Twitter to remind people that there are much more important things going on in the world right now.

"There are more important things to talk about. Why can't people use their voice for something that f*cking matters?" she wrote in a post earlier this morning.

"Truth is last thing we need right now is hate, in any form," she added in a sentence which had many Twitter users scratching their heads until they realised Selena was not against truth, but all for love. (Phew, right?!)

While she doesn't directly reference Kim's leaked footage, fans and followers were fairly certain she was referring to the ongoing feud, and added their two cents to the discussion, with one writing: "Then you should check your girl."

"This industry is so disappointing yet the most influential smh," she added in a third tweet to which one follower replied: "Is Taylor holding a gun to your head as you tweet this or?"

Ouch!

With her current relationship attracting criticism around the world and her former boyfriend taking aim at her on Twitter, Taylor Swift could be forgiven for thinking things couldn’t get much worse right now.

But it looks like Kim Kardashian-West had different ideas.

For the past few months, rumours have been swirling that Kanye West had referenced the Shake It Off singer in a track without her approval – a claim both Kanye and Kim have been disputing since it bubbled to the surface earlier this year.

And with reports gaining more and more momentum in recent weeks, Kim Kardashian clearly decided enough was enough.

Taking to social media to out Taylor and her apparent manipulation of both the media and the situation, Kim tweeted: “Do you guys follow me on snap chat? U really should.”

Sharing footage of the conversation which took place between her husband and Taylor regarding lyrics contained in Famous, Kim made sure the public knew that Taylor was in on the lyrics from the get-go.

Appearing flattered by her inclusion in the track, Taylor even called it a compliment and assured Kanye that she would confirm she approved the line “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex.”

To even the most disinterested listener, it seems Taylor was on board from the start and more than happy to play the media at their own game should they suggest there existed an ongoing feud between the pair.

Unsurprisingly, Kim’s leaked footage has sent the internet into total meltdown today, with fans and followers weighing in on the spat, but it was Taylor who everyone wanted to hear from.

Taking to Instagram three hours ago, Taylor shared an image of a spiel she had written in response to Kim’s upload, captioning it: “That moment when Kanye West secretly records your phone call, then Kim posts in on the internet."

Suggesting that Kim had purposely misled the public, Taylor wrote: “Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song? It doesn’t exist because it never happened.”

You don’t get to control someone’s emotional response to being called ‘that bitch’ in front of the entire world,” she added,

In the lengthy post which has been liked more than half a million times, Taylor added: ”Being falsly painted as a liar when I was never given the full story or played any part of the song is character assassination.”

“I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to part of since 2009.”

With fans and followers from both sides weighing in on the situation, one of T-Swizzle's followers said what everyone is thinking right now, simply writing: "Oh Lawd, this is a hot mess."

"You've brought this to yourself," wrote another follower. "So stop with these pathetic things where you play the victim. You know you not."

"You wouldn't be offended if you weren't caught doing something wrong," added another.

This is definitely going to get worse before it gets better.

While numerous female celebrities of a certain age chose (or were chosen) to become part of Taylor Swift's now infamous 'squad', Demi Lovato certainly wasn't one of them.

And those who regularly tune into The Taylor Swift Show will know that Demi and Taylor's relationship noticeably cooled in recent years, with the former appearing to have a somewhat scathing attitude towards her fellow popstar, at least when it comes to certain issues.

Unlike Taylor's beloved Swifties, Demi wasn't nearly as impressed by the Shake It Off singer's $250,000 donation to Kesha during her legal battle with Sony, and used the move to highlight what she considers a failing in Taylor's approach to the matter.

"Take something to Capital Hill or actually speak about something and then I'll be impressed," Demi tweeted at the time. "At least I'm talking about it."

Clearly irritated by the 'throw some cash at the problem' attitude, the Cool for the Summer singer – who, like Tay, once dated Joe Jonas – called Taylor out, tweeting: "At least I speak up about sh*t that's uncomfortable to talk about rather than trying to be politically correct 24/7."

And it looks like the fans who had been keeping abreast of the lowkey Demi vs. Taylor saga for the last couple of years were tossed another crumb this week when the former Disney star started following Calvin Harris on Twitter.

While not earth-shattering by any means (Maybe Demi's just in the market for a collab?), her timing is what has piqued the interest of millions.

Just one day after Calvin called out his former girlfriend in a series of pretty epic tweets. the 23-year-old decided she'd be interested in hearing more from the Scottish DJ.

"Demi Lovato started following Calvin Harris on Twitter," tweeted a fan site dedicated to Demi in a move which had social media users reaching for their popcorn.

Some Twitter users suggested it was a shady move on Demi's part while others applauded the star, tweeting: "HAHAHA, love for Demi!"

We wonder what Taylor will make of this one…
