Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift hung up her pop princess crown for a day to attend her BFF's wedding where she stood as maid of honour.

The 26-year-old looked prettier than ever donning a faded pink gown with a crystal top – a far cry from her usual cut-out short dresses.

And it seems that Tay was probably the best bridesmaid there could be as she told People last year: "I've never been a maid of honour before.

"This is my first time, and it's really, really important to me because this is my best friend, who I've known since I was born.

"And she's marrying [Benjamin LaManna] someone I've known since I was 4."

Her BFF Britany donned a Reem Acra dress, going down the traditional route with a short-sleeved silk taffeta ball gown and cathedral-style veil.

The blonde duo have known each other practically their entire lives, and they used to ride horses together in Pennsylvania before Taylor hit the bigtime.

"It was the best day ever. So amazing… I'm the happiest maid of honour ever," said Taylor.

Khloé Kardashian, Christian Bale and Taylor Swift – they're just some of the people Amy Schumer has been poking fun at of late, but one jibe in particular didn't go down too well.

The comedienne and actress has forged her career on taking the idea of female beauty and femininity and turning it on its head, and she attempted to do just that with a recent Instagram post directed at Taylor. Now though, she's been forced to apologise for it.

Amy's brand of humour didn't go down too well with the legions of Swift fans who accused her of "skinny shaming" the singer with a photo captioned, "Taylor that's not a thigh gap. This is a thigh gap," posted on Monday night.

The photo, which shows Amy and fellow comedy star Bridget Everett in their bikinis, seems to have been a dig at Taylor's Grammy ensemble, a two-piece dress with a thigh-high slit.

Taking to Instagram again today, Amy made an attempt at an apology, though she certainly didn't seem too happy to be doing it.

"That's not a beard this is a beard," she wrote alongside a snap of herself with a blonde wig and a face full of fake stubble.

"So sorry to anyone with a beard this may offend. I am a comic and should never make fun of myself at the expense of anyone else that I wasn't making fun of in the first place #relax #beard."

She referenced the drama again later on, posting a meme showing the famous Simpsons "That's not a knife, this is a knife," quote with the caption, "So sorry to anyone with a different size knife too."

As for Taylor, she's been dealing with drama from several different sources this week – in her Grammys Album Of The Year acceptance speech she made a thinly veiled dig at Kanye West for his claim that he "made that b*tch [Taylor] famous."

Speaking to the audience on Monday night, Taylor said, "There are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame… you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there."

We all know that Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are pretty much BFF's but Taylor's birthday message to Ed on his 25th birthday really does prove the bond.

While we harbour secret desires to see this pair together (sorry Calvin Harris), it seems that the pair are closer than ever.

Despite not being a member of the squad (that honour that tends to be reserved for females and models), after a duet and a tour together it's safe to say that these two will always be pals.

"Looking back on the highlights of my life, there's a moment I'll never forget from a day in London about two years ago," reads the caption of an image of Ed winning his Grammy.

"I was in town to play the O2 and I was out shopping on my day off. My friend Ed Sheeran met up with me in this little shop where I was buying ballet shoes."

"He walks in and says, ‘You have to hear this new song. I think it's the best one I've ever written.' And then, as usual, he pulls out his phone and gives me headphones. I sat there on a bench in that store and heard Thinking Out Loud for the first time, as little kids were picking out tutus and leotards next to us.

"Little did we know it would go on to be first dance song at countless weddings all over the world, become Ed's biggest hit, and eventually go on to win him Song of the Year at the 2016 Grammys.

"Ed and I had been on tour together all year on the Red Tour and we saw each other almost every day. I lived for the moments he would burst into my dressing room with a new song to play me. It happened so often that it became normal, and I don't think he ever knew how much it meant to me that he wanted me to hear his songs first.

"I don't think he ever knew how inspired I was by his drive and passion to constantly create new art. But it's his 25th birthday today, so I'm saying it now. You deserve everything you have, and everything you will continue to achieve, Ed."

Well, we are more convinced than ever that they are meant to be.

In one of the rather inexplicable stories from around the world today, it seems that the internet has taken a particular fancy to photo of Taylor Swift from the Grammys this week.

The snap shows Taylor leaving the awards ceremony with pal Selena Gomez but has randomly decided to strike a rather hilarious diva-esque pose.

And well, said snap has really gotten the creative juices of some avid photoshoppers flowing because no time has been wasted turning diva Tay into the meme of the week, if not year.

First, there is YMCA Taylor…

While we all know that Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift are totally smitten with each other, we still like to see their social media interaction, if only for #relationshipgoals.

Calvin has been notorious for defending his gal as well as lauding her many accomplishments in the public domain, so it is perhaps no surprise that he has taken to Instagram to celebrate his lady being the first woman to win Album of the Year twice at the Grammys.

Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend

Calvin shared a snap of the singer on stage along with the caption: "Congratulations to my beautiful girlfriend."

Nawwh!

Taylor stole the show at the prestigious awards ceremony as she open proceedings with a rendition of her hit song Out of the Woods as well as putting Kanye West in his place during her acceptance speech.

She also nailed the red carpet by debuting a totally new look and playing best friends with Selena Gomez before hitting up the after-parties with her man in tow.

Donning a gorgeous white and gold two-piece, the star linked up with Calvin and spent the evening dancing the night away with close friends including Lorde and Selena.

The pair have been enjoying some much needed downtime over the past few months as Taylor's extensive 1989 world tour came to a close in late December.

Having spent the festive season with each other's families, it seems that the pair are closer than ever.

To be honest, if you sat two seats away from Taylor Swift, you'd probably try and do the same thing.

A Tay Tay fan found herself quite close to the singer at the Grammy Awards last night and just couldn't help trying to sneak in a few selfies.

Moments before the winner of Song Of The Year was announced, the crafty woman turned on her camera, hoping the catch Taylor's reaction if her name was called out.

The fan first pretended to take pictures of the roof (?) and then quickly pulled it around to Taylor's face.

Moments later Ed Sheeran was announced as the winner for his song Thinking Out Loud and Taylor celebrated on behalf of her friend.

But the best reaction? The fan who looked pretty chuffed with herself for getting a few snaps. Yep, we see that grin on your face.

When Taylor cut off her trademark long curls circa 2012 and revealed her messy, long bob, we were already halfway to the hairdressers to get the exact same look.

However, we're not sure we will be rushing out the emulate her latest style which she debuted last night at the Grammys.

Sporting a barely there crop top and flowing satin skirt, the star has chopped her locks up into a very short, structured bob with a full fringe.

Maybe she is celebrating the end of her 1989 tour and embarking into the next phase of her music, but it seems fans and internet trolls alike were divided by the drastic new 'do.

Some just downright hated everything about Taylor's new look…

Others just had to laugh about it…

Some stated the obvious…

While others just could not deal…

Others began to question EVERYTHING…

But many of Tay's dedicated fans simply LOVED it…

From audio fails and slaying speeches to last minute cancellations, the Grammy Awards certainly did not fail to deliver in the entertainment stakes last night.

Topping headlines this morning was Taylor Swift who not only made history by being the first woman to win Album of the Year twice at the prestigious awards ceremony but also for taking the time to slam Kanye in her acceptance speech.

Last week Kanye debuted a song at his fashion showcase in New York which included the lyrics: "I made that bitch famous" in reference to Tay.

Taking to the stage with a new cropped hairstyle, Taylor, who had remained quiet on social media since the incident, was quick to defend herself.

"I want to say to all the young women out there – there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame."

Yas, queen!

Another young female singer who was expected to steal the show was Adele, but after suffering from audio and pitch problems during her performance of All I Ask, fans were left wanting.

Adele took to Twitter to explain the issues: "The piano mics fell on to the piano strings, that's what the guitar sound was. It made it sound out of tune. Shit happens."

While Rihanna had to cancel a performance of her new material due to an infection, Lady Gaga took to the stage channelling the late David Bowie as she donned a sparkly catsuit and bright orange hair.

Adopting Bowie's infamous Ziggy Stardust persona, the You and I singer bashed out a medley of the late singer's greatest hits including Heroes, Space Oddity and Let's Dance

However, the performance is garnering a certain amount of criticism with fans saying she was trying "too hard" while David Bowie's own son Duncan Jones seemed to tweet a comment that was thinly veiled with sarcasm.

In the awards stakes, Ed Sheeran has something to cheer about as he won his first Grammy for the song Thinking Out Loud

Justin Bieber also took home his first award while Kendrick Lamar swept away the competition taking home a total of five awards on the big night. Marc Ronsen and Bruno Mars also had a rather successful evening as Uptown Funk swept up two gongs including Record of the Year.

In a world full of girl power, we're not really sure what Kanye was thinking writing about Taylor Swift.

When songs dropped from his new album T.L.O.P. last week, much attention was put on the tune Famous.

Why? Well let's just say he rapped about a certain pop star – and not in a good way.

"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why, I made that bitch famous / God damn / I made that bitch famous," the in-debt superstar said.

And as you can imagine, Taylor's squad totally hit back, with Selena Gomez taking centre stage.

"Everybody has their own opinion," she said on SiriusXM Hits 1. "At the end of the day, you can just do what you do."

"She's killing it and she kind of always has been," Selena added.

So, go home now, Kanye.

Stop what you're doing right now and head over to Kanye West's Twitter because he is on an epic Taylor Swift-related rant, and it is pure gold.

The controversy kicked off last night when the rapper gave fans a preview of his album at the Yeezy Season 3 show.

One song in particular, Famous, features the lyric "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. I made that b*tch famous."

The lyrics allegedly refer to the 2009 VMA's when Kanye interrupted Taylor's acceptance speech – although we've no idea what that has to do with having sex.

After being blasted online by both Taylor's brother Austin and her best friend Gigi, Kanye's taken to Twitter – no surprise there – and the results are brilliant.

He starts off by getting the record straight, though we beg to differ with this line…

Then he hit back at "censorship" in the media

"I asked my wife"

"It's actually something Taylor came up with"

Then there was a whole load of talk about "real" music:

ALL GODS ALL GODS ALL GODS

Oh Yeezy.

Kanye has managed to land himself in even more hot water after his Yeezy Season 3 showcase in New York yesterday, not that he probably cares.

In a new track entitled Famous, the 38-year-old raps about Taylor Swift in the song that debuted at the showcase.

"I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex," go the offensive lyrics.

"I made that b*tch famous."

The lyrics allegedly refer to his stunt at the 2009 VMA's when the rapper interrupted Taylor's acceptance speech.

Though initial reports indicated that Taylor had given Kanye permission to use the song, the Out of the Woods singer quickly dispelled those rumours in a statement issued by her representatives.

"'Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single Famous on her Twitter account," said Taylor's reps.

"She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.

"Taylor was never made aware of the actual lyric, 'I made that b*tch famous.' "

Getting a head start on some spring cleaning. Here we go again.

And it seems that a host of famous faces have come out to defend Taylor, not least her younger brother Austin.

Tay's little brother took to Twitter to defend the star, posting a sassy video of himself binning his Yeezy trainers.

Squad member Gigi Hadid, who was in attendance at the show also tweeted to defend herself and her pal.

Well we reckon Kanye definitely has some balls for going after Taylor and the squad.

As we all know, it was Harry Styles birthday yesterday, and he did something quite cheeky to celebrate.

No, he didn't throw a lavish party, buy a car or go completely wild; instead good old Harry quoted his ex-girlfriend.

Yesterday evening, Mr Styles shared a tweet that read: "I don't know about you, but I'm feeling 22."

BURN.

We doubt Tay Tay is going to have a comeback, but one thing's for sure, we bet she's RAGING.

Good one, Harry. Good one.
