Taylor Swift

Lisa Kudrow is Taylor's latest celebrity pal to be invited on stage during her concert and we are seriously jealous we were not in the audience.

The Friends star provided heaps of nostalgia when she appeared with her guitar to give a rendition of one of Phoebe's greatest moments.

Life highlight

A video posted by Ruby Rose (@rubyrose) on

The crowd was transported back to the Nineties with the duet at the sold-out concert in the Los Angeles Staples Center last night

It was completely perfect.

Lisa then took to Twitter to thank Taylor following the concert saying: "So @taylorswift13 is THE best person I've ever met. That was fun. Thanks Taylor."

Also performing with Taylor last night were Justin Timberlake and Selena Gomez, but we think this Smelly Cat rendition probably stole the show.

Taylor Swift's Monday night performance at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles already made headlines for its stellar list of surprise guests – Natalie Maines from the Dixies Chicks, chat show host Ellen DeGeneres and singer Alanis Morissette – but that's not the only thing people have been talking about.

After she and Alanis wowed fans with a duet of You Oughta Know, Taylor went on to finish out the night with a typically epic finale, and she couldn't resist adding a little personal touch in for boyfriend Calvin Harris, who was there to watch the show.

After the final song ended and Taylor waved and bowed for fans, she ran down to the end of the central runway to shout three VERY important little words in Calvin's direction… "I love you."

http://tswiftnz.com/post/127540309658/taylor-said-i-love-you-to-calvin-harris-at-the-end

While from the video it's not obvious who the sentiment is directed at, eyewitnesses said there was no doubt the words were meant for Calvin, who was standing directly in front of Taylor at the time. Aaaaw!

Just last month Calvin spoke candidly for the first time about his new relationship, saying he was loving life with the Blank Space singer, despite the constant press attention

"There'll be some sort of story, and they get more and more ridiculous. Whether I'm allergic to cats or we're moving in or we're getting married next week, you've just got to take it how it is, which is just that sort of news story which people read," he told Kiss FM.

"But for me it could still be a lot worse and I'd still be like insanely happy with it, so I'm good with it.''

Sounds like these two have long-term potential…

Taylor Swift's surprise guests during her 1989 World Tour have so far ranged from the predictable (Lorde, Karlie Kloss, Lena Dunham, Cara Delevingne) to the totally obscure (Matt LeBlanc, NBA player Kobe Bryant, OITNB's Uza Aduba, Joan Baez).

But whoever planned the guest list for Taylor's gig at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles last night deserves to take a bow, because we were totally blown away by all three.

After first welcoming Natalie Maines from the Dixie Chicks in front of an 18,000-strong crowd , Taylor was joined by none other than Ellen DeGeneres… who dressed up for the occasion in a sparkly ensemble VERY similar to Taylor's.

The chat show host joined Tay for a rendition of Style, complete with lots of sashaying and twirling in her sparkly tutu:

Work it, girl.

It was the third guest of the night that really sent the internet into meltdown, though, with the crowd roaring as Taylor brought singer Alanis Morissette on from backstage.

Yup, possibly the only singer out there who can beat Taylor in the "break-up song" stakes. The pair proceeded to serenade the crowd with Alanis' hit You Oughta Know:

Taylor seemed exhilarated after the show as she took to Instagram to thank Alanis, posting a picture of the pair and writing, "I don't know how to process how amazing she was. Just absolutely magnificent."

What a show!

'Round SHEmazing Towers, we can't help but notice that mega successful singer-songwriter Taylor Swift is fond of a high-profile celebrity spat

Yes, whether it's Katy Perry (obvs), Nicki Minaj, or Tina Fey AND Amy Poehler (unforgivable!), Tay-Tay certainly isn't afraid of jumping in for a scrap when she feels slighted (which seemingly is quite often).

The 25-year-old has even managed to get her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, in on the act: a week ago he didn't like a comparison made online between his Shake It Off love and Miley Cyrus.

When the message was retweeted by none other than Zayn Malik, formerly of One Direction, Mr Harris let his feelings be known in rather spectacular fashion.

And now it's a case of another week, another celebrity shade throwing bonanza. This time, Taylor has been pitted against Canadian songstress, Avril Lavigne.

Here's the back-story (pay attention): Swifty liked a post on Tumblr which suggested she was nicer to her fans at meet and greets than many other singers – the 'other' examples used being Kanye West, Britney Spears, Katy Perry (eek)… and Avril herself.

When this came to Ms Lavigne's attention, she quickly amassed a montage of her own.

Depicted was the musician engaging warmly with the many followers she has met over a career which spans close-to a decade-and-a-half. It included the caption: "So let's keep it all about the love and stay positive."

And another tweet stated: "Comparison is judging and judging a person does not define who they are it defines who you are. We all Love our fans," – a message her 19.3million followers responded positively to.

Cue Mr Harris jumping in. "She didn't judge you she doesn't judge anyone!

"She was only having fun with her fans, not trying to compare you," the 31-year-old Scottish DJ said addressing the Sk8r Boi singer, 30, directly on Twitter.

And needless-to-say, it didn't take long for respective fans to express their outrage at the opposing side's actions. Indeed, social media has been positively alight since the incident.

Today, a source also told HollywoodLife.com that Calvin reckons Taylor is involved in so many feuds simply because "everyone" is jealous of her.

"Calvin thinks it’s plan and simple, everyone is jealous of his girl," the insider explains.

"Taylor is constantly being picked on for every little thing she does and Calvin’s advice is to stay positive and not take it personally."

Well, in that case we can't wait for next week's instalment of Tay-Tay's topsy-turvy world. Surely we're due a Britney-Swiftney spat soon?

By now you have surely seen the pictures of Taylor Swift inviting her pals on stage as she travels around the globe with her 1989 world tour.

First we saw the likes of Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne joining her in front of the adoring crowd, but it seems she has even more besties then we could have ever imagined.

This weekend saw Taylor introduce actor Matt LeBlanc and comedian Chris Rock during her performance in the Los Angeles Staples Center

They were also joined on stage by Sean O'Pry, a model who starred in Taylor's video for Blank Space.

Ms Swift documented the moment on Instagram saying: "The #1 male model in the world, Sean O'Pry,And the #2 and #3 top male models, Chris Rock and Matt LeBlanc. Obviously."

The 25-year-old has been growing her 'squad' since she began touring in May and fans get treated to a surprise guest or two, at every concert.

At Saturday's gig, Taylor also performed Doubt, and Family Affair with Mary J. Blige and was later joined on stage by Orange Is The New Black actress Uzo Aduba.

Taylor said she was really moved by Uzo's talent: "I'm so blown away by the multi-talented Uzo Aduba and how she smashed White Horse tonight, and also by how incredibly down to earth and wonderfully kind she is."

This week, Zayn Malik allegedly threw shade Taylor Swift's way – retweeting a message that implied the songstress is more focused on making money than using her fame for good.

It was a move that prompted Tay-Tay's boyf Calvin Harris to launch a full-on attack on the former One Directioner… though the Scottish DJ later relayed somewhat, complimenting Mr Malik on his "great voice".

Still, it's certainly not the first time that 25-year-old Ms Swift has been involved in a tiff. In fact, trouble and feuding seems to follow the singer-songwriter.

Here, we chronicle the highs and lows of her top six fall-outs:

Taylor Vs Katy:

The original feud! We can hardly remember what kicked it all off at this stage – something to do with Katy, 30, allegedly stealing her former friend's dancers for a world tour (why were the dancers so eager to leave, we'd like to know).

And even now, it seems it's the stand-off that refuses to die-down.

In fact, just late last month, Ms Swift brought on stage with her during a concert in Massachusetts an over-sized shark – a prop Katy famously used during her Super Bowl performance. She evidently thought it was hilarious; others were less enthused.

Of course after Taylor's high-profile Bad Blood video, we're guessing that a kiss-and-make-up scenario isn't on the cards anytime soon.

Taylor Vs Miley:

We love that Ms Cyrus, 22, speaks her mind – and speak her mind she certainly did during a recent interview with Marie Clare.

“I don’t get the violence revenge thing,” the singer said referring to Taylor's Bad Blood video. “That’s supposed to be a good example?

"And I’m a bad role model because I’m running around with my titties out? I’m not sure how titties are worse than guns.”

Now, HollywoodLife.com reports that Ms Swift knows Miley doesn't like her (FYI: Katy and Ms Cyrus are mates – and Tay-Tay thinks the former turned the latter against her).

In fact, Swifty is SERIOUSLY concerned that the Wrecking Ball singer is going to have a pop at her at the VMAs in two weeks' time: Miley is presenting; Taylor is up for nine awards.

We can't wait.

Taylor Vs Nicki

Speaking of the VMAs – Taylor was left red-faced when she assumed Nicki Minaj's VMA Twitter rant was about her (it's not always all about you, Tay-Tay).

Ms Minaj, 32, had been complaining that her mega-hit Anaconda didn't get a Best Video nomination (which actually does seem a bit strange).

"If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies," her online complaint began, "you will be nominated for vid of the year." Cue Taylor jumping in, taking it all personal.

Predictably, within 24hours Katy Perry just couldn't resist elbowing her way into the situation with her own online contribution.

Wowsers. Anyway – Twitter went properly into meltdown over the whole situation, and Tays later took a chill pill and admitted that she had probably jumped to conclusions.

She also invited Ms Minaj to join her on stage "anytime," (pretty sure the woman sells out her own concerts, mind). The duo subsequently seem to be on good terms – for the moment anyway.

Taylor Vs John

The Pennsylvanian singer and a guitar-weilding John Mayer had a brief romance – although things didn't end too well. Then she wrote a song, Dear John, which he claims is a bit mean.

Lines include: "Don't you think 19 is too young to be played by your dark twisted games, when I loved you so?" and "I lived in your chess game, but you changed the rules every day."

These days, Mr Mayer says she just ignores him.

"You can see me at the Grammys doing what I do best, being avoided by Taylor Swift," the 37-year-old said while hosting the Late, Late Show back in February.

John and a certain Katy Perry, of course, have had an on-off thing since 2012 – which probably doesn't help matters.

Taylor Vs Apple and Spotify

Taylor famously withdrew her music from Spotify because she says they weren't giving her enough dough – though the likes of U2, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney don't seem to mind. Anyhoo, her argument is: "Music is art, and art is important and rare.

"Important, rare things are valuable. Valuable things should be paid for."

So, what's the alternative? Well, funny you ask… because in early June Apple began its music streaming service – a platform that, until Tay-Tay bemoaned its payment policy just a few weeks after its launch, many folk were unfamiliar with.

"We don't ask you for free iPhones. Please don't ask us to provide you with our music for no compensation," she said in an open letter.

The tech corporation quickly did a U-turn, as confirmed by executive Eddy Cue on Twitter.

And so in the end everyone involved seemed rather happy – especially the woman herself, who just days after the incident announced that she'd be releasing her mega-selling 1989 album… on Apple. Yup, everyone's happy, so.

Taylor Vs Tina Fey AND Amy Poehler

We hardly know where to look – comediennes Tina and Amy are living legends, after all. But a couple of years ago, Swifty just didn't find them all that funny

Why? Well, the duo were hosting the Golden Globes in 2013, peppering the gig with plenty of tongue-in-cheek gags. Over the course of the evening, they even made fun of Miss Taylor's dating history.

Tays didn't seem to see the funny side though and later told Vanity Fair: "there's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women."

Ouch.

In contrast, for example, the likes of Hollywood legend Leonardo DiCaprio managed to smile and say nadda at the receiving end of similarly scathing remarks.

Indeed, last year he did just that when Ms Fey announced his arrival on the Golden Globes stage with the properly hilarious: “And now, like a supermodel’s vagina, let’s all give a warm welcome to Leonardo DiCaprio…"

At this stage we've come to expect surprises at Taylor Swift's 1989 gigs, but we definitely didn't see this one coming.

The singer was performing in Glendale, Arizona on Monday night when she sang a song in honour of some very special people in her life. Taylor's single Ronan was released back in 2012 to raise money for children's cancer research, and she has only performed it live on one other occasion.

The song was written in honour of Ronan Thompson, an Arizona boy who died from neuroblastoma in 2011 aged just four years old.

Ronan's diagnosis, treatment and his cancer's tragic outcome were all documented on a blog, Rockstar Ronan, beautifully written by his mother Maya.

Taylor's only previous live performance of Ronan was back in 2012 at a Stand Up For Cancer fundraiser. However as Maya and her other children were in the audience as special guests on Monday night, the singer performed the charity single in their honour… and in honour of others affected by serious illnesses, including her own mother Andrea.

Andrea was diagnosed with cancer in January of this year, after agreeing to undergo a full health screening as her Christmas present to Taylor.

"In my opinion, one of the bravest things that a human being could ever do is to go through something absolutely unbearable and then share their experience with the world. And I think the braver you are, the more brutally honest you are," Taylor told the crowd.

"There's a woman here tonight named Maya Thompson… And I wouldn't know half as much as I know about childhood cancer and childhood cancer research if she hadn't shared her story about her son Ronan… I would read it every night."

Choking back tears, Taylor mentioned her own family's experience with the disease, saying, "And since then, I've had cancer hit really close to me in my family."

Before beginning the song, Taylor warned fans she might not make it through to the end. "I just wanted to take a moment to try and play this song," she said. "I can't promise that I will sing it well or not get really emotional, but I'm gonna try…I think because Maya's here tonight, I think she deserves it."

Maya herself took to Instagram after the emotional gig, posting a picture of herself and her family posing with the singer. "I love you. @taylorswift You have my heart for the rest of my life and beyond," she wrote.

What a beautiful moment.

Taylor Swift has been making some serious headlines over the past few months as she travels the world with her 1980 tour.

Night after night we have been bombarded with images of Taylor being joined on stage by her oh-so famous besties and we have started to wonder, how many besties can one gal have?

But for one on-looker, it just all got too much. She couldn't handle seeing or hearing about Taylor saying the words "Please welcome to the stage…" again.

So she decided to completely take the p*ss and film herself perfectly imitating Taylor's optimistic ignorance while introducing SO many people to the stage.

As much as well love Taylor, it seems like the world she lives in might be a tad unrealistic full of besties and short-shorts. This girl has perfectly captured her positivity when introducing even the less-than-appropriate people to the stage.

"Please welcome to the stage, the first woman ever, Eve! From Adam and Eve!" – Best line ever.

As well as being one of the biggest DJs in the world, he's well-known for his stints as an underwear model.

And it seems that Calvin Harris could bag yet more work in front of the camera – if he can convince his girlfriend Taylor Swift to join him.

The sweetener? The couple is being offered a cool €9m to strip off and bare (pretty much) all.

Putting the cash on the table is once again Armani; the brand whom Calvin worked with previously and also the same label that got Victoria and David Beckham to star in their own intimate shoot a few years ago.

There could be a bonus too: word is that if the campaign is globally successful, Taylvin Swariss will be entitled to bag an additional €18m via a promotional tour.

There's certainly no denying that 25-year-old US singer-songwriter Ms Swift and 31-year-old Scottish composer Mr Harris are pretty much the hottest coupling going right now.

Indeed, as a source told the Daily Star: "Calvin's adverts have done really well and helped the brand reach a different audience." They added: "The offer is on the table and it is now up to Taylor's team to see if it is the right thing to do for her image."

According to Forbes, the duo brought in €130m last year and are now the most powerful couple in the world – bigger than even Beyonce and JayZ.

Just a couple of weeks back we got a detailed look at Taylor Swift's incredible €18m seven-bedroom apartment in Tribeca, New York, and now it seems she could be ready to snap up some property in Europe.

The Shake It Off singer already has homes in Nashville, Los Angeles, New York and Rhode Island, but there's always room for one more. And according to a new source, Taylor's got her eye on a certain property in Scotland – a €4.1m 16th century Scottish castle, to be exact.

The Tower of Lethendy is on a 40-acre estate and boasts an 18-hole golf course, a heated pool, two tennis courts and a croquet lawn, MailOnline reports. Imagine the Instagram opportunities for the #GirlSquad…

The main part of the castle, a Scottish Baronial house, has eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms, and there are also two gate lodges and two staff cottages.

Despite the period architecture, the interior of the castle is more modern, having been updated 20 years ago. It's currently owned by a Canadian family and looks like the perfect second (or third, or fourth) home.

One thing we bet caught Tay's eye was the huge marble and pine kitchen, perfect for evenings of baking and chilling with Calvin:

The rest of the house is full of oak furnishings and period details, like the beautiful wooden staircase and reception hall:

As for the master bedroom, it's typically girly but might need an update if Taylor moves in:

The castle is located around an hour form Edinburgh, where Calvin's family are based. This isn't the first time the singer has had an interest in buying property for slightly biased reasons, of course.

Back in 2012 Taylor purchased a Cape Cod mansion just minutes from the summer home of her then boyfriend, JFK's grand-nephew. After the pair split, Taylor didn't hesitate to sell the vacation house on, making close to €1m in profit on the sale.

Joking about her penchant for property last year to Vanity Fair, Taylor said, "People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like. If I like you I will apparently buy up the real estate market just to freak you out so you leave me."

Wonder what Calvin thinks of this latest project…

Taylor Swift and Lucky 13 potentially have a nasty court battle on their hands.

The founder of the fashion retailer claims that Ms Swift, 25, copied its trademark look onto a collection of cotton t-shirts sold by the singer.

Tay-Tay's lawyer tried to fight the hearing, saying that there is no way the singer could attend in person as it would impact on her massive 1989 world tour. They also claimed that Lucky 13 has been "harassing" her in recent months.

But the judge seems not to be on Taylor's side on this occassion: he ruled that the musician has no choice but to attend the hearing. She now has up to a week to confirm a convenient time.

The Californian judge explained: "Swift's schedule is not a basis for a protective order prohibiting her deposition testimony altogether. There is no evidence in the record to show that the plaintiffs have been inconsiderate of Swift's schedule.

"To the contrary, the record shows just the opposite. Nor does the evidence suggest that plaintiffs have sandbagged Swift's deposition to coincide with her world tour."

Well, we hope this all gets sorted soon!
