Poor Taylor, just so unlucky in love…

The Blank Space singer recently began dating Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, and though the two seemed very cosy in recent pictures as they headed back to Taylor's second home in LA, it appears things didn't go quite so well once the pair got inside.

As every Taylor fan knows, the singer is borderline obsessed with her cats – so much so that her pet bestie Olivia Benson has starred in two ad campaigns with her – but it seems Calvin's not quite so smitten.

In fact, the DJ couldn't be around Taylor's feline friends for more than a few minutes without getting some severe allergic symptoms. 

"When he [was] at Taylor's LA house last week, Calvin says he was up all night blowing his nose and complaining he couldn't breathe," a friend of the Scottish star told Heat magazine.

It turns out that Calvin has an allergy to the cats' "long fluffy hairs," and considering Olivia Benson and Meredith Grey famously sleep in the singer's bed with her, we doubt Taylor got much action from her new man that night.

Calvin has apparently suggested that the pair start spending time together away from the pets… but we doubt that'll go down too well with crazy cat lady Taylor!

Calvin Harris might be the object of Taylor Swift's desires at the moment, but he's well aware things could go downhill at any time.

The Scottish DJ seems keen not to go through another messy break-up after his public battles with Rita Ora last year over music he had produced for her, and so he's taking extra precautions with Taylor.

Calvin has reportedly banned T-Swift from writing any songs about him, for fear she will "demean" herself.

Herself… or him?

The new couple's relationship was confirmed late last month when they were spotted holding hands in public, and last week Calvin decided it was time to have a serious chat with his new girlfriend.

"It was the white elephant in the room, but it's been on his mind, so he confronted her about it last week, telling her he doesn't want her to do that to him," a source said.

Taylor is well known for venting about her relationship issues through her music, and made no secret of the fact that numerous songs on her 2014 album, 1989, were inspired by her ill-fated romance with One Direction's Harry Styles.

Calvin "doesn't want to join the ranks of Swift refugee boyfriends who've been humiliated by one of her revenge songs.," said the source. 

Despite his reluctance to be the subject of Taylor's music, Calvin is apparently still very keen to collaborate with her on a joint project. "Calvin doesn't just want to date Taylor… [he] thinks they could produce a number of big hits together, and he's always been a big fan of Taylor's work… it would be a dream for their record labels if they teamed up," said the source.

Whatever the outcome, we hope Taylor is standing up for herself!

We all know Taylor Swift is a girl's girl.

You need look no further than her Twitter and Instagram accounts to see that her heart truly lies with the ladies in her life, but her latest friendship has intrigued us- mainly because we want in on it.

Girl band, Haim, and the Shake it Off singer hit it off big-time in recent months and the lovely ladies have finally explained how it all kicked off.

Speaking to In Style during the Coachella festivities this weekend, Este, Alana and Danielle revealed that the foursome decided to go out for dinner and a major friendship was born.

Recalling the event, Alana said: "We contacted each other and we took her out to our favourite restaurant in Silver Lake called Stella."

And like an amazing first date, the girls revealed neither wanted to part ways, with Alana saying: "I thought it was only going to be an hour, but it lasted seven hours."

And if the Haim gals are anything to go by, it seems Taylor is a right old laugh-a-minute, with Este revealing: "She took us on a LOL-lercoaster. LOLS for days."

Urgh, now we're even more jealous.

Taylor Swift has always been open and honest with her fans, throught the good and the bad.

Now, the singer has decided to share bad news about her mum, Andrea.

Taking to Tumblr, Taylor told her fans that her mum is sadly battling cancer at the moment, writing: “I’m saddened to tell you that my mom has been diagnosed with cancer.”

The diagnosis was made partly due to Taylor’s wish for her mum to get her health checked: “For Christmas this year, I asked my mom that one of her gifts to me be her going to the doctor to get screened for any health issues, just to ease some worries of mine.”

Unsurprisingly, Taylor chose to keep details of her mum’s illness private for the moment, but told her fans that her mum wanted them to know: “She wanted you to know because parents may be too busy juggling everything they’ve got going on to the to the doctor, and maybe you reminding them to go get checked for cancer could possibly lead to an earlier diagnosis and an easier battle.”

Taylor's mum has always been a big feature of her tours and shows, and always her biggest supporter; which is why Taylor says she chose to share the news. 

We have no doubt that writing this post was a very hard thing for Taylor to do. 

Our thoughts are with Taylor’s mum and we're wishing her a full and quick recovery.

Taylor Swift and Lorde are famous for their love-ins on social media, but in recent weeks there have been rumours of trouble in paradise, with many sources reporting that a disagreement about a planned duet had caused the singers' friendship to turn sour.

Rather than hanging out with her BFF Lorde, Taylor's been seen more and more with the Haim sisters, model Karlie Kloss and her long-time pal Jaime King, to name but a few. She's also been spending more time with her new beau, Scottish DJ Calvin Harris.

Lorde, on the other hand, has been enjoying some down time in her native New Zealand.

So is the friendship over? Definitely not, according to the girls. Taylor took to Twitter last night to put the rumours to rest, assuring fans (and the media) that her and Lorde are as tight as ever – they're just on different continents, that's all. 

"Media, when you say "Lorde & Taylor are fighting"-by fighting do you mean "FaceTiming constantly from US to NZ and LOLing at you"? Thnx bye," wrote Taylor.

Lorde retweeted the message soon after, writing, "sisters are doin' it for themselves @taylorswift13."

Phew, we're glad to hear all is well – hopefully that means the duet is still going ahead as planned!

We’re not sure how we would feel having to compete with Taylor freakin’ Swift in the sibling rivalry stakes – but Austin Swift doesn’t seem to mind one bit. 

The singer posted a video to her Instagram account showing a very competitive Easter egg hunt between herself and brother, joking that her parents forgot they were similar to Friends characters, Monica and Ross:

“When your parents arrange a competitive sibling Easter egg hunt, failing to take into account that their children are Ross and Monica.”

We’re sure a lot of us can relate to the struggle of beating our siblings to the good food in the house…especially Easter eggs!

In another video, Taylor can be seen getting very into the egg hunt, jumping up on an enbankment and shouting at her brother: "I got like a hundred, good luck" while her mum Andrea can be heard exclaiming 'Dear God' in the background. We love it.

Taylor is known to be close to her little brother, even praising him in her song, The Best Day: “God smiles on my little brother, inside and out, he’s better than I am.”

We agree, there is definitely a Monica and Ross vibe in these videos – and we love it!

Well this is awkward; so very awkward.

If the photos of them looking cosy and holding hands are anything to go by, then Calvin Harris is very much into his rumoured new girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

It appears that this wasn’t always the case, however, as some cringe-worthy interview footage has proven.

Yes, while Calvin and Taylor may be enjoying the first flourishes of romance, someone has only gone and dug up an embarrassing video of Calvin saying that Taylor is “the opposite of my type”.

Someone needs to tell Taylor to stay away from the internet this weekend!

The footage is taken from an interview Calvin gave to Capital Breakfast last November, in which he revealed who he would “swipe right” for on Tinder.

Upon hearing that Taylor was keen on him, Calvin reacted with a response that has truly come back to haunt him: “She's just the opposite of my type. She looks lovely, but she’s the opposite of my type, so I’ll just [swipe] left.”

Well, obviously something has changed Calvin’s mind since then, given how widely he was beaming on their cosy date this week.

There may have been a lot of speculation surrounding Taylor Swift’s love life in the past few months – but there’s no denying this one.

A video of Taylor Swift and rumoured boyfriend Calvin Harris holding hands was shared by TMZ and seems to leave no doubt whatsoever that the pair are giving their romance a go.

Spotted chatting at the BRIT Awards, it seems love has blossomed for Taylor and Rita Ora’s ex. It’s not surprising that the couple got close in recent months given that Calvin just recently released a song with Taylor’s BFFs Haim.

Let’s just hope he behaves himself or he may unleash Taylor’s iconic song-writing skills for all of the wrong reasons…

It looks as if the rumours might be true for Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris.

The pair were spotted out and about in Nashville, Tennessee only weeks after it was said they were flirting up a storm at the BRIT Awards.

Taylor and Calvin were photographed by fans looking quite relaxed and very much like they may be starting a very new romance – aww!

While Taylor has vowed to stay single in recent months, Calvin only recently broke up with his girlfriend Aarika Wolf.

It looks like things could be heating up big time for Taylor and Calvin and we reckon they make a super cute couple.

Taylor spent a lot of time telling us she was on a break from relationships during promotion for her latest album, but even the best of intentions can’t stop a romantic from falling in love.

Heatworld is reporting that the pop star flew 2,524 miles to see none other than Calvin Harris, who she was spotted getting intimate with at the Brit Awards last month.

The DJ sent a private jet to collect Taylor and bring her to see him in Las Vegas where he was playing a gig. He even flew in her current BFFs Selena Gomez, Ellie Goulding and the Haim girls, so she’d have some fun while he performed – eh, perfect boyfriend material?

Journalists reported seeing the pair get cosy at the Brit Awards and Taylor was even rumoured to be the reason Calvin ended his relationship with model Aarika Wolf.

Considering the number of scathing songs she's written about boyfriend-stealing women, we really hope Taylor didn’t actively pursue Calvin while he was in a relationship.

But despite the odd pairing, we’re glad to see Taylor loved up again.

Taking to Instagram to upload a video of herself and her three BFF's rocking out to Faith Hill's The Kiss in the back of a car, Taylor Swift puts pretty much all of our road trips to shame.

Wishing Este a happy birthday and thanking her and her sisters, Alana and Danielle, for all the good times, Taylor showed us that she really is all about the ladies in her life.

Calvin Harris is a single man again after just seven months!

The DJ had been dating model Aarika Wolf since last summer, but they reportedly broke up recently. A source close to Calvin said the relationship ended "around the time of the BRITs last month."

The source added that things had ended well between Calvin and 21-year-old Aarika. "They were both into each other for a long time but it just didn't work out and they'll stay friends. Calvin is always really busy and is constantly travelling around to DJ gigs so he's happy to be single for a while."

It's thought the pair first met when Aarika was cast in the video for Calvin's song Blame back in August.

Calvin might have already moved on though, as there is speculation that he and Taylor Swift could be more than friends. The pair were seen chatting together at the BRITs with Calvin apparently being VERY "touchy feely," and Taylor even flew out to Nevada to watch Calvin DJ earlier this month – though she kept quiet about it on social media!

Before meeting Aarika, Calvin dated singer Rita Ora for nine months, a relationship which ended messily last year when Calvin prevented Rita from performing a song he had written and produced for her at the Teen Choice Awards.

Rita did not cope well with the split, saying at the time that she was "not doing too great" but that she was still "doing better than [she would have] thought," adding, "I adore him and he’s such an amazing human being. It was more about the situation. It was inconvenient. It sucks. It wasn’t about ‘us.’ It was about the world we live in."

We hope Calvin's coping well with the break-up this time around!
