For the past year and a half she's been arm-in-arm with her former beaus Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, but now Taylor Swift is taking a step out on her own.

Last night, the singer was spotted partying the night away with her BFF Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik.

The threesome were seen leaving Gigi's NYC apartment, and while Tay Tay took centre stage, Zayn and Gigi kept up their public displays of affection for the cameras.

The Shake It Off singer kept things super casual with a patterned blue dress and orange handbag which she sported with red lippy.

This is it ladies, this is Tay's comeback.

Is Katy Perry making the first move?

It looks like the singer is about to let go of her grudge with Taylor Swift.

The pair have been on/off feuding for years now, but when someone asked her on Twitter if she'll ever see them working together, Katy's reply surprised everyone.

Twitter user Camille asked, "will you collab with Taylor Swift?" to which Katy replied, "if she says sorry, sure!"

We're glad she didn't ignore the question, or write a big fat NO, because let's be honest, these two superstars making music together would be awesome.

And you never know… Taylor is back in the studio working on her next album…

Thanks to Gigi Hadid, we now know that Taylor Swift is back making music again.

The model was speaking to Entertainment Weekly this week, and said that Taylor's "obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that."

Gigi was talking about Taylor's appearance at her TommyXGigi NYFW show, in which she shocked the celeb world by turning up and lip-syncing to some of Calvin Harris' tunes.

We all know Tay likes to write songs about her past lovers, so we can only imagine how explosive this next album is going to be.

Earlier this week the world of celebrity romance was once again thrown into chaos when it was revealed that Hiddleswift had officially come to an end.

And while Selena Gomez may have encouraged her gal pal Taylor Swift to move on from Tom by focusing on the music, we’re not sure Calvin Harris’ music is quite what she had in mind.

In a new post on her Instagram account, the Wildest Dreams singer can be seen bopping along to her Scottish ex’s track This Is What You Came For while supporting her BFF Gigi Hadid as she walked the Tommy Hilfiger runway.

The post was captioned: “SO PROUD OF YOU GIGI!!!!! That show was INSANE.  Congrats to Gi, Tommy, and all the girls who just owned that runway.”

Does this mean Taylor’s put any Bad Blood she had with Calvin behind her?  We certainly hope so!

When news broke that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston had parted ways, the internet was awash with sarky remarks from members of the public asking how long it would take before Taylor cashed in on the break-up and wrote an album of broken-hearted love songs.

Well, it looks like someone has beaten Taylor to the post, and it definitely wasn't who we expected.

Stringless guitar in hand, US chat show host, Stephen Colbert, pulled up a stool and paid tribute to one of the summer's most talked-about romances on last night's episode of The Late Show.

Like many of us who felt we were a reluctant part of the year's biggest showmance, Stephen tapped into the notion by sharing snaps of himself alongside the couple in some of their most infamous shots.

And in one very quick turnaround, he bid goodbye to Hiddleswift and admitted he has his sight sets on the newest Hollywood couple…

When news broke that the world could kiss goodbye to the 'love story' that was Hiddleswift, sources close to the Shake It Off singer made sure the public knew that it was Taylor who called time on the whirlwind romance.

"She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship," a source told US Weekly, but it sounds like there's more to the story than meets the eye.

While rumours swirl that Taylor couldn't handle Tom's desire to court the media (no, seriously), sources in the British actor's camp are fairly scathing of the accounts.

According to the Daily Mail, Tom was simply adhering to his three-month rule before giving the singer the ol' heave-ho.

"He grew tired of Taylor, it wasn’t the other way round," an insider revealed. "The reports are wide of the mark and come as news to all Tom’s friends."

Apparently, the Thor actor struggles to commit to any one woman and found himself bored of the whole relationship.

"Tom drifted from her and it had nothing to do with her being put off by the publicity," a friend of Tom's revealed.

"It’s more to do with the fact he’s a commitment-phobe who gets bored very easily," they added before admitting Tom's sisters give him grief over his reluctance to give any relationship a real shot.

Ouch!

When Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift called it quits earlier this year, the vast majority of us waited for the inevitable fall-out, but for some time, save for a diplomatic tweet on the part of Calvin, there was nothing but radio silence.

Until there wasn't.

As Taylor launched into one of the most talked-about romances of the year with British actor, Tom Hiddleston, the media plagued Calvin for comment on his former girlfriend's new romance.

And, unsurprisingly, as he found himself dragged into the media circus that was the Hiddleswift saga, the Scottish DJ cracked, and called Tay out on Twitter in a move which he says led to all hell breaking loose.

Responding  to Taylor's decision to reveal she co-wrote Rihanna's This Is What You Came For with him, Calvin hit out at her motives.

"I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it," he tweeted at the time.

Reflecting on the fall-out from that decision, Calvin recently told GQ: "When it ended, all hell broke loose. Now I see that Twitter thing as a result of me succumbing to pressure."

"It took me a minute to realise that none of that stuff matter. I’m a positive guy,"  he added.

While acknowledging that break-ups happen all the time, Calvin admitted he didn't anticipate the drama that followed their split.

"For both of us it was the wrong situation. It clearly wasn’t right so it ended, but all that stuff that happened afterwards…"

Give it a few months and we'll be hearing Tom's version of the saga…

When it surfaced in the early hours of this morning that HiddleSwift was no more, many took to social media to announce their absolute delight.

But one person that's staying close to Taylor is her BFF Selena Gomez – and she has some words of wisdom for the star.

An insider told Hollywood Life: “When Taylor told Selena about the breakup, the first thing Selena advised Taylor to do was slow down.

“Selena’s advice was to take a break from men and to spend some time enjoying being single."

We feel as if we could have told her that ages ago, but sure, hopefully she listens to her BFF.

Look, we’d be lying if we said we saw Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston’s relationship culminating in a trip up the aisle, but we didn’t anticipate it ending quite as suddenly as it did.

Just three months after they began taking romantic walks on the beach, wearing items of clothing professing their love, and generally being the couple you block on Instagram, Hiddleswift have called it quits.

And it sounds like more than a few people have breathed a massive sigh of relief.

Taking to social media to comment on the demise of a relationship which had the world talking this summer, members of the public really haven’t held back in celebrating the news.

No seriously – people are legitimately pumped…. and sarky… and… officially loving it.

Ah, the lives of the rich and famous.

Calvin Harris doesn’t seem very phased by the big break-up news this morning. 

As the news has broken that Taylor Swift has split up with Tom Hiddleston, the DJ spent last night partying with Tay's BFF Ellie Goulding in London. Ouch!

The old friends were chilling together at 19th Annual GQ Men of the Year Awards.

Calvin won Man of the Year last night so no doubt he really doesn't care about the HiddleSPLIT.

It was highly anticipated that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston might be making their red carpet debut at the upcoming Emmys, but apparently, she's worried about him not being with her "for the right reasons."

A source told the Mail Online: "Tom wants their relationship to be public, even asking Taylor to go to the Emmys with him, but Taylor wants to keep her private life private.

"Tom's need for their relationship to be so public so quickly makes her uncomfortable. She tried to be OK with it in the beginning but fears he is in love with the idea of her and not falling in love with her for the right reasons.

"Taylor is an independent young woman and doesn't feel like she needs a boyfriend to make her complete."

Of course, this is just coming from a source and neither party has confirmed or denied the reports – but to be honest, we'd love if they made their red carpet debut already.

Taylor Swift has kinda been keeping a low profile since her BF Tom Hiddleston went away to film his new movie.

But yesterday, she stepped out in New York rocking yet another different hairstyle.

During the year, the singer dyed her hair peroxide blonde and then only a few weeks ago changed back to her original honey-toned hair.

However, it seems she's now taken a step back and is bright blonde again… and rocking a rather unusual side fringe.

The kind of side fringe that we all used to wear in 2009 with our neon socks and tutu skirts.

But then again, whatever floats Tay's boat. What do you think of her new style?
