The first ever Tayto Pop-Up Shop opened to great fanfare last week, selling freshly made crisp sandwiches to hungry punters all over Dublin.

While everyone was undeniably excited, we also were left just a bit upset that the Wicklow St shop would close on March 15th, TWO DAYS before St Patrick's Day.

After all, what better way to cure a Paddy's Day hangover than by eating a crisp sandwich? Especially one made with Tayto:

The whole country has been buzzing with the news that a Tayto Pop-Up Shop would be opening on Dublin's Wicklow St this month, serving (what else?!) freshly made crisp sandwiches with a variety of flavours!

The shop opened at 34 Wicklow St on March 5th – and you had better get there fast as it will close again this Sunday March 15th. To make things even more tempting, €1 from each €2 sandwich sold will go directly to Dublin's Simon Community.

Our S! TV reporter Lisa Kavanagh headed along to see what goodies were on offer and to find out about the great cause behind the pop-up!

This morning, Samantha Mumba will be popping by the Damson Diner on South William Street to help Tayto unveil their brand new snack, Popcorners.

The unusual creation is a crisp made of popcorn that comes in two equally unusual flavours – Chilli & Lime or Spicy Cheese & Tomato.

Popcorners are created from popped corn, which is then baked; this mean they contain 57% less fat than your average crisps.

Definitely sounds interesting!
