The Amazing Spider-Man 2 star Emma Stone, has insisted that she does eat, after receiving harsh online comments over her thin figure.

Online commentators believe that the actress has lost a lot of weight ever since she started dating her boyfriend, Andrew Garfield.

But the actress fought back the eating disorder claims insisting that she’s healthy and refuses to let the online comments bother her.

“I firmly believe that nothing really affects you or can really bother you if you don’t already feel that way about yourself. I’ve seen a lot of comments that say, ‘Eat a sandwich’ or ‘She looks sick,’”

The actress says that she has been looking at herself more in the mirror as result of some the comments but insists that she’s “not sick” and that she eats “sandwiches”.

But Emma says she’s not going to be harsh on her online critics as she knows what its like to feel insecure.

“They’re just confirming this feeling I have about myself. I’m trying to figure my body out. It bothers me because I care so much about young girls. We’re shaming each other and we’re shaming ourselves, and it sucks.”

The Amazing Spiderman 2 star, Andrew Garfield has admitted that he is actually quite comfortable with his own body, even when naked.

“I love being naked. It’s important to be naked and be in touch with our bodies and not have shame about what we’re made of. I love being in touch with nature and my own nature.”

This is probably a good thing, considering how revealing Andrew’s Spiderman costume, actually is.

It’s not the first time Garfield has been asked about his body. The Amazing Spiderman 2 star was also questioned about the appearance of his package for the film.

But Andrew said it was ok, as his on and off screen girlfriend, Emma Stone gave her nod of approval.

“You don’t want it to intimidate and you don’t want it to the opposite of intimidate. I had one focus group—and that focus group was Emma. She approved.”
