Lily-Rose Depp lands yet ANOTHER major Hollywood movie role
We're not surprised Lily-Rose Depp has finally caught the acting bug – her father is a major movie star after all.
And while Johnny is famous for his out-of-the-box characters (Edward Scissorhands, Willy Wonka, the Mad Hatter), it seems that Lilly-Rose has signed up for her own unique role.
The rising star has joined the cast of Stephanie Di Giusto’s directorial debut The Dancer, a 19th-century drama based on the life of American performer Loie Fuller.
According to Variety, the 16-year-old will be playing a dancing wonder woman named Isadora Duncan – a San Francisco native who grew up in poverty and became a dance prodigy, quickly achieving worldwide fame.
And we're sure Lilly-Rose will be used to playing a role achieving worldwide fame, something she knows it only too well.
Ms Depp has also been cast to play Natalie Portman's little sister in next year's 1930s-inspired Planetarium.
It looks like this is the beginning of a very promising film career, Lily-Rose.
