Can we be guests on a show?

It has been revealed that between The Late Late Show and The Ray D'Arcy Show, RTÉ fork out a massive €50,000 to put celebrities up in hotels.

Figures were released today in response to a Freedom of Information (FOI) request that showed how much the national broadcaster dishes out when it comes to accommodating TV guests.

According to the figures, The Late Late Show spent €30,400 last year, with The Ray D'Arcy Show forking out €18,850.

Some of the guests stay in hotels such as the five-star Dylan Hotel and the Conrad Hotel.

The FOI stated: "The ability of RTÉ to run and manage its business cost effectively is of significant importance.

"Disclosure of such material would prejudice RTÉ contractual negotiations in respect of future services.

"The majority of RTÉ's competitors are not required to release these records on the basis they are not subject to the Freedom of Information Act," they added.

Interesting to know all the same…

We're all for kicking Sundays off with a whopper fry-up, but if you're trying to eat clean over the summer months, we may have found the perfect alternative.

Salad for brunch might not sound all that appealing when what you really want is bacon and eggs, but trust us on this one. Last weekend SHEmazing! checked out the brand new brunch menu at Dublin's Dylan Hotel, and we've already got it pencilled in again for our next post-workout brekkie.

As well as some seriously indulgent treats like the beef, black bean and chorizo burrito (which we drooled over as it sailed past us to the table next door), the spicy eggs Flamenco with black pudding and tomato concasée and of course the pancake snack with seasonal berries, there are some equally tasty lighter options too.

We opted for two salads, the signature Superfood salad with quinoa, pomegranate, avocado, citrus, pumpkin seeds and mustard dressing and the goat’s cheese salad served with tomato, beetroot, melon and smoked almonds. And once they arrived, we forgot all about that burrito:

It wasn't all about #eatingclean though, as the Dylan also offers a pretty irresistible cocktail menu.

As well as jugs of Sangria, Royaltea and Pimm's, there's a whole menu of single serve classics like the Margarita and Bellini we went for:

Perfection.

Brunch is served at the Dylan every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from 11am to 4pm. More information and a full menu can be found here.
