the rugrats

The Rugrats was an integral part of anyone growing up in the nineties, with so many characters to love and admire (Angelica you're a queen).

Sadly, the actor who voiced our beloved Stu Pickles, father to Tommy and Dil, has passed away.

Jack Riley

Jack Riley died yesterday after a battle with Pneumonia and infections, at the age of 80.

Jack appeared on more than 140 episodes of The Rugrats, reprising the role in the 1998-2003 movie trilogy and also several episodes of follow-up series All Growed Up!

Jack Riley is survived by his wife Ginger Lawrence, and their two children.

May he rest in peace.

If you were addicted to Nickelodeon in the 90s (who wasn't?) then feast your eyes on this hide-and-seek puzzle.

One Reddit user, Anti-Pugsly, shared a deadly picture that his girlfriend, artist Valeriya Volkova created.

In it is basically a reference to ALL of our fave 90s Nick shows, which Valeriva named Local Flavour.

Check out the picture and see how many references you can find:

It's a bit hard, and some people are able to count up to 31 Nick-related things. We're seeing a few details from The Rugrats, Hey Arnold!, and Are You Afraid of the Dark.

Still stuck? Then compare your findings to this Reddit user, who basically found everything:

If you grew up in the 90s, we're sure you watched your fair share of The Rugrats. They troublesome babies were possibly shown on every kids channel, so it was hard to miss.

During the week, the FM104 Facebook page shared a picture of what The Rugrats would look like now, and it's official, we feel old.

The original artist, Eric Molinsky, decided to draw the aged babies, and it's a little bit shocking how they turned out.

Explaining the artwork, Eric wrote alongside his drawings:

“The Rugrats did not all grow up to be fashion models or self-confident hipsters. Especially not Chuckie. They probably grew up to be average if not slightly lumpy looking people—just like their parents.

“We referred to them as lumpy babies for a reason. If we ever drew the Rugrats as being too cute, our executive producer would scold us.”
