One Direction are probably the biggest band in the world right now and they have many people to thank for it, including Nicole Scherzinger.

But despite Nicola helping Simon form the band way back in their X Factor bootcamp days, the singer has now said that she thinks the band are too big to perform with her.

The singer admits that the boy’s global success is a bit strange to her now, especially since she was there for them at the beginning.

“It’s weird cause now I’m the one queuing up in the stores to buy their merchandise. I’m like: ‘Can I get a One Direction T-shirt?’”

Nicole was quizzed on whether she would like to collaborate with the 1D boys in the future, to which the singer quickly responded saying that the band was too big for her now.

“Oh no, I don’t think so. They’re too big for me now!”

Hmm, we’re not sure if the lads would agree with you there Nicole, we say they would love to collaborate with you!

After months of speculation, Louis Walsh has finally confirmed that he will be returning to this year’s X Factor.

Louis revealed yesterday that he signed up for this series of the show, along with Cheryl Cole and the show’s creator, Simon Cowell.

This will make Louis the only judge  to have stared in all 11 series of the The X Factor since it began in 2003.

Louis revealed that he always knew he was going to be a part of the show, but he only signed the contract for this season recently.

“I knew I was doing the show but I just signed the deal and I’m very happy with it. At my age you have to keep working!”

While everyone is still wondering who the fourth judge is going to be, Louis believes that the spot is going to be taken by Scary Spice, Mel B.

“I think it could be Mel B from the Spice Girls – I love her and she’s quite mad. She also did both the American version and the Australian versions of X Factor. But people are also mentioning Alesha (Dixon) and Rita Ora as well.”

While Louis might not be everyone’s favourite, we’re glad he’s returning to the reality show, as we just couldn’t imagine  X Factor without him.

They may be due to walk down the aisle this summer, but Perrie Edwards has admitted that she didn’t always like her fiancé Zayn Malik.

Perrie revealed when she first met Zayn on the X Factor in 2011, she found the One Direction star “a bit cocky”.

“I didn’t really like Zayn when I first met him, because I didn’t know him and he seems a bit cocky and a bit full of himself.”

But Perrie admitted the more she got to know Zayn, the more she began to fall for the One Direction singer.

“Then I realised that he’s the most sweetest, most amazing person in the world, so you just need to get to know someone really.”

How sweet! Even though Perrie was very open about how the singers fell in love with each other, she was still tight lipped about her upcoming nuptials. We’ll just have to wait see about the big day.

The speculation surrounding The X Factor 2014 judging panel has gone into overdrive, as its been revealed that Louis Walsh is out and Jake Shears is in.

Who is Jake Shears you might ask? Well, he’s the lead singer of hit American band, The Scissor Sisters.

It seems that ITV bosses want a complete revamp of the talent show and the Irish judge has become a causality as a result.

Jake has spoken previously of how he would love to be a mentor on the hit show: “I think I’d have a good time. I’d definitely be enthusiastic. I think it’s a really wonderful thing.”

Simon Cowell has been doing is best to keep Louis on the show, but it looks he’s fighting a losing battle.

“ITV aren’t sure about Louis and I think it may be time for a change. Jake really impressed when he was a guest mentor on The Voice, but Louis is very much Simon’s man, so we’ll have to wait and see.”

We just can’t imagine the show without Louis.

The fourth X Factor Judge has been finally revealed and it looks like, Scary Spice will be the one sitting at the end of that famous panel.

Apparently producers, including Simon, are pulling out all the stops to ensure that they get Mel B on the show.

A source revealed that Simon may have even blown the budget for the show, trying to convince Mel to become a judge. But it seems he may have succeeded, as she is apparently moments away from signing on the dotted line.

If Mel agrees to do the show she will be sitting alongside, Louis, Cheryl and of course the music mogul himself, Simon Cowell.

It’s hard to believe, it’s four years since Harry Styles first auditioned for The X Factor. It seems his mum can’t believe it either, as she took to Twitter to celebrate the important day for her son.

Anne Twist, told her Twitter followers just how proud she is of her son and wanted to mark the special day, for the 20-year-old.

“Happy Anniversary @Harry_Styles Four years ago today you took the first step toward your dream and turned it into your reality. Ly xxx”

But Harry’s mum wasn’t pleased, when a One Direction fan accused her of getting the date wrong.

The fan tweeted: “his audition date was a couple of weeks ago though.”

But Anne was quick to tweet back, that she had got the date right: “errr … no it wasn’t. Today’s the day.”

Harry’s mum has been there since the beginning, as she was backstage during Styles very first audition in front of X Factor judges: Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Nicole Sherzinger.

Despite rumours strongly indicating, that British singer, Ellie Goulding would be joining the 2014 X Factor panel; music mogul, Simon Cowell has insisted that’s not the case.

When asked if the Burn singer could be a judge on the show, Cowell simply replied, “she’s not on the list”.

Simon was then questioned on who he had considered for this year’s X Factor panel, but he just shrugged his shoulders and laughed: “No…got any ideas?”

Simon went onto dismiss other judge rumours, which included Rihanna and Rita Ora.

“In terms of the rumours – Rita Ora, no, Rihanna we never spoke to, Louis I would like to come back. It’s a decision I’ve got to make with the producers and ITV so we’ll see what happens.”

Music mogul, Simon Cowell has revealed the real reason behind Nicole Scherzinger’s exit from the X Factor.

Simon said Nicole wouldn’t be joining the 2014 X Factor panel, as he predicted the former Pussycat doll would have clashed with Cheryl.

Cowell said: “I didn’t think the two of them would work well together.”

Perhaps the reason Simon believes that Nicole and Cheryl would’ve clashed on the judging panel was as a result of the pair previously working together on the 2011 show of X Factor USA.

Cheryl was a judge on the show, while Nicole was a co-host with Steve Jones. But Cole was soon fired from the show a few days after starting and was immediately replaced by Scherzinger.

Simon has admitted that he was keen on the idea of Mel B joining the judging panel.

“I like Mel B. We’ve got about a month to decide and we’re meeting a lot of people. A lot of it actually depends on how much work they are willing to put in during the week.”

Well whoever will be joining the panel one thing is for sure, they have to get along with Cheryl.

Simon Cowell has revealed that he’s not Gary Barlow’s biggest fan.

The Take That star was drafted in to The X Factor judging panel when Simon decided to focus on the American version of the show

Last year’s final, won by former prison officer Sam Bailey, was watched by 9.7 million, the show’s lowest viewing figure since 2005.

And it seems Simon is placing a good bit of the blame at Gary’s feet.

“The truth is – and I am not being rude – I wouldn’t hire Gary to run my record label,” he said. ‘Essentially that is what you are doing with The X Factor judging panel. But if Gary and I were running a record label we would do it in a different way.”

He added, “I do believe I am the best person at spotting a potential star and making them work well on the show.”

“That is what I am good at doing, not being a big-mouth on the show. It is making the show I am on better,” said the music mogul.

The Recovery singer then went onto tweet about how he expected the media would react to his latest tweet: “Cue more media bullying.”

It isn’t the first time James has took to Twitter to lash out but he might want to take it easy on Simon since he’s singed up  to Cowell’s label, Syco Music.
