How to live to be 110: Three beers a day and a generous shot of whiskey
Only one in every 10 million of the world's population are 110-years-old or older, and Agnes Fenton is one of them.
For 70 years, Agnes from New Jersey had drank three beers and a shot of whiskey everyday and she is still going strong.
She has good hearing and sight and she spends her days reading the paper, listening to the radio and hanging out with her friends.
It sounds like she's really living the dream, she sleeps a lot and she loves chicken wings, green beans and sweet potatoes and she has no serious health problems.
This is not exactly what you would expect from someone who drinks every day, but yes every single day for 70 years she drank three cans of Miller High Life and a shot of Johnnie Walker whiskey. According to Agnes, after a serious health problem several years ago, the doctor told her to drink three beers a day and that's exactly what she did.
Recently she has quit drinking after 70 years on the advice of the people looking after her as she doesn't eat as much as she used to.
Agnes has been part of a study that focuses on people who live to be over 100-years-old and data has been collected on her for five years.
The head of this study said all of the people over 100 taking part in this study have a secret to staying alive so long but she's not so sure Anges' is alcohol.
But if you're planning on following Agnes' plans to try surpass that 100-year-old mark, we're not really sure we would advise it…
