Is Tom Cruise about to pop the question to his 22-year-old assistant? According to recent reports, it certainly would seem so.

Speaking about Tom and his British assistant, Emily Thomas, a source revealed to Star magazine that “Tom has fallen head over heels for Emily, and she feels the same way. There’s even buzz in his inner circle that he might propose!”

According to the magazine, the pair have been seeing each other ever since the end of 2014 and are totally “smitten”.

The 53-year-old Jerry Maguire star met his new assistant and rumoured love interest in 2014 when he hired her to work as his right-hand woman on his new film, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.

The insider further revealed that “Tom was so impressed with her, he made it clear he wanted her to work with him on all his upcoming projects.” They have already worked together this year on the upcoming film Mena.

“He would only leave her side long enough to shoot his scenes, then he’d be right back by her side,” the insider divulged. They also admitted that “She’s super caring with him.”

This would by no means be the first time that the scientologist has proposed to a woman he has only recently fallen in love with.

In 1987 Tom popped the question to Mimi Rogers but their marriage fell apart in 1990. The same year he met Nicole Kidman on the set of Days of Thunder and it wasn’t long before the pair tied the knot.

However, Tom did wait a while before proposing to his third wife, Katie Holmes. The Ray Donovan star became pregnant with their daughter Suri before the couple tied the knot in 2006. They divorced three years ago in 2012.

Could Tom Cruise really be leaving the Church of Scientology?

For many years the 52-year-old has been the religion's biggest advocate. He is one of many celebrities that openly follow the church, alongside John Travolta, Beck, Kirstie Alley and many more.

However, three months ago a media storm clouded around the actor alleging that the religion was the reason that the Mission Impossible star hadn’t seen his daughter Suri in over a year.

But now, it's been reported that Mr Cruise has become aware of just how much he is missing in his 9-year-old daughter’s life and that he has realised Scientology is the reason for his absence.

An insider told Star magazine that a recent phone call between the father and daughter was what has made Tom consider leaving the church.

“She was going on and on about her ballet class and how much she loves it. That’s when Tom realised he’s never seen her perform ballet and he started to tear up,” the source revealed.

“It hit him that she’s growing up before his eyes and he’s not there to witness most of it. They talk on the phone and video chat, but it’s not the same.”

Tom divorced from Suri’s mother Katie Holmes in 2012 and it is widely believed that Scientology was the reason for their split.

The revelations concerning the Top Gun star being an absentee father were the result of the release of the documentary Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief. The film took an in-depth look at the inner workings of the church. It was (unsurprisingly) instantly slammed by Scientologists after its release.

Speaking last April, Piers Morgan spoke about Tom and his relationship with his ex-wife. “My understanding is that Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise don’t even speak to each other.

“And she, I believe, is very concerned about the effect of the Church of Scientology on Tom Cruise.”

Well, we have no doubt that Katie will be only delighted if Tom manages to release himself from the clasp of the church in order to spend more time with their daughter.

We all know Tom Cruise is no stranger to death-defying stunts in the movies, but we think even this brave actor may struggle to come out on top when accidentally stepping in front of an oncoming bus.

The 52-year-old actor was filming the latest installment of Mission: Impossible in London this week when he seemed to forget all the standard road safety rules.

Amateur footage circulating on the internet shows the pint-sized star trying to cross a busy road before being almost knocked down by one of London’s famous red double-deckers, having failed to realise the lights had changed.

The Minority Report star looks pretty darn chipper when approaching the busy lanes of traffic, but has the wind knocked out of his sails fairly swiftly when he has to made a leap back to safety after getting in the way of an irate London bus driver.

Looking a little bashful, he appears to take a deep breath once out of harm’s way. As you would.

He then retreated back from the road entirely after being approached by who we assume were a couple of concerned film crew members.

You’re dead right Tom, safety first.

Is love in the air for Hollywood actor Tom Cruise?

The rumour mill has been sent in to overdrive after rumours of a romance between the star and his 22-year-old assistant emerged this week.

According to Us Weekly, 52-year-old Tom has a major crush on his Mission: Impossible 5 set assistant Emily, with the pair pictured enjoying each other’s company during a break in filming in London.

The source revealed: “He’s always flirting with her. Most people on the film have noticed how into her he is.”

While Tom is keen to keep things professional while the pair are working together, he has apparently made his intentions very clear.

“He’s already asked Emily to go to dinner with him, on a date, when they’re done shooting,” the source added.

Apparently this insider has “never seen him crush on anyone so hard” – so it must be serious!

We won’t rush out and buy the hat yet, but we’ll keep you posted on this budding romance.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ divorce in 2012 took many people by surprise – just as their relationship in general had.

From jumping up and down on Oprah’s couch (of COURSE we have included a photo for you!) to rumours of scientology, there was never a dull moment for Tom and Katie’s relationship.

Speaking to People magazine for what feels like the first time she has ever opened up about that hard time in her life, Katie said: “I don’t want that moment in my life to define me, to be who I am. I don’t want that to be what I’m known as. I was an actor before, an actor during and an actor now.”

The Kennedys’ actress also spoke about her daughter with Tom, Suri and says she is learning every day: “I’m learning every day and have been since the minute I became a mom. I love my child more than anything in the entire world. It’s pretty simple.”

Lovely words – we hope to see more of Katie now that she seems to have finally shaken off the label of “Tom Cruise’s ex-wife”!

It’s been a hectic month for Hilary Duff from signing a record contract to starring in a new television show, but it now seems Hilary could be considering a conversion to Scientology.

The 26-year-old actress has been spotted spending a lot of time with Hollywood’s young Scientology crowd and Hilary has even gotten temporary tattoos, of Scientology symbols on her arms.

The symbol spotted on Hilary’s arm features a small triangle, which is also known as the “ARC” or “Affinity, Reality and Communication” triangle.

This symbol is most frequently used to represent the church of Scientology.

Duff has also become very close to Alanna Masterson, who is a proud advocate of Scientology and also rumoured to have dated Tom Cruise’s son, Connor.

Hilary has spoken passionately before, about her religious beliefs.

“I travel so much and I work so hard, but I have faith in that kind of thing and I pray all the time and I believe in God,”

Many have commented that Hilary could’ve been seeking solace with the Scientology church, after her recent spilt from three year marriage with Mike Comrie.
