Tragic news as beloved Irish broadcaster dies
Some very sad news from the world of Irish radio today as it's been confirmed that host Tony Fenton has passed away aged 53.
Tony had been battling prostate cancer for quite some time but he was due to return to his Today FM show later this year.
Last March, Tony was given the all-clear but unfortunately his cancer returned just a few months later.
Tributes have been pouring in from Tony's colleagues and friends via Twitter:
Such sad news, he was an inspiration to us all & never matched! RIP to the legend that was Tony Fenton x #tonyfenton
