Ireland is pretty spectacular if you just take the time to know it
Staycations are all the range and, with the hope of a repeat of last summer’s heat wave, we’re sure they’ll remain ever popular.
Here are four things you just have to do on our beautiful green island:
Cruise down the River Shannon
Being the longest river in Ireland means it is fantastic for cruising down. Rent a boat and grab some friends – you’ll have the time of your life.
The Wild Atlantic Way road trip
The Wild Atlantic Way is a 2,400km road trip that takes you from Co. Donegal to Co. Cork via unspoilt villages, rugged coastline and incredible views. You will truly see what incredible things the West has to offer.
Visit Fungie in Co. Kerry
If you haven’t already made a trip to see Ireland’s most famous dolphin, now is the time. However, there is more to Kerry than Fungie; Dingle is a lively place with plenty of pubs, shops and restaurants.
The Dublin Literary Pub Crawl, Co. Dublin (obviously!)
This is one of the capitals most famous pub crawls and is a must if you ever find yourself wandering the street of Baile Atha Cliath. It takes about two and a half hours to complete and you will hit at least four pubs along the route.
