Previous presenters of the series include Angela Scanlon and Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin, so Vogue has a lot to live up to.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, an insider said: “Vogue is currently getting ready to head to Cyprus and will also film a holiday in the Algarve.

“She is the perfect person to fill in for Mairéad, who has filmed the bulk of the new series.

“This is very much a temporary thing and Mairéad Ronan is still the host, but it was great to have the opportunity to have someone of Vogue’s draw and calibre to take part in the series."

This may be stating the obvious, but we are pretty major ice cream fans here at Shemazing! HQ.  And while we’ve already swooned over hangover-curing and black-coloured ice creams this summer, we have now discovered our ice cream temple of dreams.

Late last month New York’s Meatpacking district became home to what is possibly the greatest pop-up exhibition of all time as the interactive Museum of Ice Cream opened its doors.

According to Time Out, this temporary hall of frozen fame boasts a pool of sprinkles, an immersive chocolate room and an ice cream sandwich swingset.

You can find your perfect flavour during an ice cream tasting session or, if you’re feeling a bit techy, you can meet your match in an ice cream themed Tinder Land.

Unfortunately this food lover’s dream is only open ‘til September, but fingers crossed the exhibition will become a permanent fixture so that next time you take a trip stateside you too can swim in a pool of sprinkles.

It doesn't matter how many weekend breaks we take or how many weeks away we book, we have never managed to pack our cases in any way that resembles the work of a functioning adult.

Vastly overestimating how many pairs of shoes we'll need while drastically underestimating how many packets of facewipes we'll need, our packing process amounts to a sh*tshow of the highest order.

So when Rosie Huntington-Whiteley sat down with Vogue to share her travel hacks, we were all ears, and ladies. it was a revelation.

It turns out there is an art to this whole thing, and it's time we ALL got in on it.

"Recently, I’ve challenged myself – because I come back and forth from LA so frequently – to pack less," she explained. "The last few times I’ve thought, ‘OK, this is crazy, I pack so much, I don’t wear any of it, I need to get more organised."

"So I said to myself, ‘I’m only going to pack four colours: navy blue, white, grey and black," she continued. "The same with shoes, the same with accessories, the same with all my clothes.”

"It was amazing because basically it meant that everything worked together,” she said.

“The white shirt worked with the black jeans; and then the black jeans worked with the grey sweater; and the grey sweater worked with the white pants, so everything was interchangeable and versatile – like taking a uniform as opposed to just lots of different things."

OK, so while rocking a uniform on your holidays doesn't sound very appealing, if it's good enough for R H-W, we're on board.

Panicked and on the verge of a weekend away, all too many times before we've dropped a serious wad of cash on travel-sized toiletries.

Mad, blind dash around Boots the night before our flight? Yup, that'll be us. Shovelling items into our trolley as we navigate Tesco fours hours before the gate closes? Guilty as charged.

And while this GORGEOUS new range from Lidl might not help you get any more organised, it's certainly a lot easier on your holiday pocket.

The supermarket's mini provitamin shampoo is a mere 79c for 50ml. A mini toothpaste is 49c and a 100ml volume hairspray is 89c. For the lads, there is a 75ml shaving foam for 79c and a 50ml 2-in-1 sports shower gel also for 79c.

Airport security-friendly body lotion, hand cream, lipbalm and deodorant is all available too and nothing costs more than a euro.

The range has already landed in select Lidl stores, but it's being rolled out nationwide shortly.

Another week, another Ryanair sale.

But this one is quite impressive because if you find a location and date that suits you, you can effectively get a flight for 1€.

Yep, you could actually fly somewhere for 2€ return flights.

WOO for flash sales!

The locations include Brussels and Liverpool for the month of February as well as Manchester (if you are flying from Shannon).

Head on over to the Ryanair website and stick in your departure airport, leave the destination as 'anywhere' and put the price bracket in at less than a fiver to see exactly what's available.

While many of the options are midweek, it's definitely worth checking out the bargains.

The sale finished up tomorrow at midnight, so get booking.

‘Tis the season indeed! If there was ever going to be a time to treat yourself then it seems like today is the day.

The latest sale from Ryanair is making us feel very excited at the prospect of a spontaneous weekend away. You can book until midnight on Wednesday, November 25, to avail of 100,000 €5 seats for travel in December.

The sale includes 31 routes to/from Ireland, according to the airline. These include Dublin to Oslo, Nice, Edinburgh and Basel, among others.

The €5 fares are showing on the airline's home page (ryanair.com), but passengers can also find them by using the Fare Finder feature (which features a roundtrip to Nice for €10).

To see the sale routes on offer just enter your departure airport, a destination of "anywhere", a budget of less than €10, and a travel period of December.

Since October 30 2015, the airline has been responsible for approximately two million seats at sale prices. They have ranged from €5 to €15 across Europe.

There are more European airlines choosing to take advantage of low fuel prices and increased demand. Earlier this year, Chief Executive Michael O'Leary predicted the "mother and father" of airfare wars following IAG's €1.36 billion acquisition of Aer Lingus.

The airline is this week offering UK flights from €19.99, European routes from €29.99 and Dublin to NYC from €249 each way.

Its offers must be booked by midnight on Thursday, November 26.

Good news!

You might soon be able to fly across the Atlantic for €60. No, Ryanair didn’t make any secret announcements, in fact Norwegian Air have beat the budget airline to it.

The CEO of the European airline Bjørn Kjos told Reuters this week that his company is exploring nonstop flights from the US to Europe for as little as €60.

“It’s absolutely in the works,” Anders Lindström, a Norwegian spokesman, confirmed to The New York Post.

They are hoping to offer one-way tickets from Europe to the US from as early as 2017. Europe's third-largest budget airline, is considering sending flights from Edinburgh and Bergen, Norway to the US.

So, all of those daydreams about strolling down fifth avenue with hands full of shopping bags could someday be a reality.

The airline said that while no decisions have been made on which European airports it would operate from, its existing operations at Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh and Birmingham would "naturally be the first destinations to consider operating from," according to The Telegraph.

Not exactly as straightforward as flying direct from Shannon or Dublin, but those prices are definitely something.

The proposal is part of the airline’s plans to cut their prices in order to compete with the airlines which currently dominate the market on Atlantic flights.

However, they aren’t the only airline trying to make getting across the Atlantic more budget friendly.

Iceland's Wow Air recently offered one-way fares between Boston and Paris for €88.

Bargain! If we could get to Paris for a fiver that is…

This man, Gunnar Garfos, visited ALL 198 countries in the world by the time he turned 37-years old, which is a pretty big accomplishment if you ask us.

So when people ask him to pick his favourite, you can imagine how difficult it is to pick just one.

However, Gunnar made a list for Business Insider and thinks that everyone should visit these 12 countries at least once in their lifetime:

1. Romania

"Transylvania, best known for its castles, mountains, and of course Dracula, will stun you. Not to forget the parties in the capital Bucharest. And Romanians even know how to make great beer."

2. Madagascar

"There is no doubt about the French having 'visited.' The gourmet options in Antananarivo are world class, until it comes to the bill. You will think they have forgotten most of what you ordered."

"The coastline, the lemurs, and the baobab trees will gobsmack you."

3. Iceland

"You know that big island in the middle of the Atlantic. It's been battered and beaten by winds and waves for a million years, and it is still there!"

"Just bring your swimming gear, and sit in 40 degrees hot natural springs while your hair will freeze and get covered by snow. Unreal."

4. Vietnam

"The definition of friendliness can be found here. Just remember not to let the hustle, bustle, and traffic stress you."

"Sit down, order a drink, relax, and watch. And do not forget to check out the Mekong Delta and its floating markets."

5. Kyrgyzstan

"Stunning nature, colourful markets, and very friendly people, unless they think you are an American pilot who is likely to run away with one of their beautiful girls. Bring a cup for world-class vodka."

6. Kiribati

"Paradise, like it used to be. There isn't much luxury, but the fantastic seafood and the hospitality you are likely to experience by locals make up for it, by far."

7. New Zealand

"Enjoy white, black, and golden beaches, any kind of water sports and activities you didn't know existed."

8. Nicaragua

"This is a very diverse country between Costa Rica and Honduras. You'll find legendary surf spots, incredible diving opportunities, and stunning nature."

9. Sierra Leone

"This paradise is on virtually no one's bucket list, but it should be if you are willing to challenge your comfort zone a tad. Expect amazing beaches, idyllic villages, and smiling people. Don't expect infrastructure."

10. Dominica

One of the least known islands of the "Caribbean so deserves to be seen by more people. Of course, that would take away some of the charm of the volcanoes, Boiling Lake, the hidden beaches, and the rainforest."

11. Norway

"The wild mountains, the twisting fjords, the unimaginable waterfalls, the magnificent glaciers, the tiny villages, and the midnight sun will leave you speechless."

12. Uruguay

"You know that country in between Argentina and Brazil? The second smallest country in South America is still rather undiscovered, although I have no idea why. The memo about the calm and relaxed, yet very exciting people must have gotten lost in the mail."

Furry friends have previously been unable to join us on our jaunts abroad – but it seems all that may change shortly.

Yes, Ryanair has announced that it is now considering implementing a policy that would allow passengers to bring their pups into the cabin with them.

Although owners of larger breeds will still have to leave their hounds at home: weight restrictions mean only smaller canines would be permitted.

Chief commercial officer David O'Brien said this week: "We are open to lots of suggestions, it's one we're looking at.

"It could be quite difficult. What makes one person happy would make another unhappy.

"But we'd be interested to hear what people think."

The likes of Iberia currently accepts pets in the cabin, so long as the animals weigh less than 8kg.

At the moment, cats, dogs and ferrets can be taken on board flights within the EU without the need for quarantine, but they all need to be vaccinated, microchipped and have a pet passport.

If you didn't get a chance to fly away this summer, fear not!

Many of us have a case of wanderlust (but don't have the bank account to match,*sob*).

A new study carried out by Expedia has found the best day and time to buy flight tickets at a bargain price. Yipee!

The report analysed the costs of booking both domestic and international flights and the results show that it might be time to mark off dates on your calendar.

The study found that if you book your tickets on a Friday, Saturday or Monday, they will be over priced as these are typically the days when airlines charge the most.

Instead, go for a Tuesday to secure your seats.

And it seems to be all down to timing too as the survey found that you can save up to €250 on international flights if you book 171 days in advance.

If you're heading on a domestic flight, you could pocket up to €50 by booking 57 days ahead of take-off too!

We think it's time to get your bank card and passport at the ready!
