The Wild Atlantic Way is one of Ireland's greatest treasures, and the latest Tourism Ireland video shows even more stunning views of the landscape.
The area has brought the world closer together, connecting the coastline of Ireland and bringing tourist visitors from all over the world. It also provides the perfect area for a holiday in our own green backyard.
Tourism Ireland's vide, 'Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way – Connecting the world for over 100 years', emphasises the history of the scenery, and how important it is for our connections further west.
Sir John Alcock and Sir Arthur Whitten-Brown flew from Newfoundland in Canada in 1919 in a two-man biplane and crash landed at Derrigimlagh Bog in Connemara.
That same year, Guglielmo Marconi sent the first transatlantic radio-telegraph from Ballybunion to Nova Scotia, cementing our ties with Canada forever.
In 1866, Lord Kelvin Thomson changed communication forever by sending the first transatlantic cable message from Valentia Island to Newfoundland. This reducing the time it took to send a message across the ocean from weeks to minutes.
One hundred years later, anyone can pick up the phone and communicate with friends and relatives all over the world or hop on a trans-Atlantic flight in hours.
It all began right here. The video serves to remind the Irish people and visitors from abroad that the Wild Atlantic Way makes an unbelievable Irish holiday.
Whether it's a short break, a cycling challenge or a trek around the entire country; there's no doubt that the landscape is hugely important for our culture.
Planning your summer holiday can be either exciting or stressful, and most of the time you can't help but forget something important.
We all make the mad dash over to Penneys and Boots mere hours before the flight to try and grab everything for the suitcase, but it's a futile effort. We wanted to treat ourselves on this holiday, but we need a list of recommended beauty items.
This year is different, because we've got the ultimate make-up and skincare list for your trip abroad this year, and you absolutely need to experience them all. They're flawless.
1. KISS imPRESS
We all want to have the most gorgeous nails for our holiday, but how can we make sure they last for the entire trip?
KISS have released a special line of imPRESS nails, for superior, lasting shine with an indestructible top coat rivalling even the best salon gel polish.
imPRESS nails protect the nail and last up to a week, making them perfect for the coming summer months and festival season. Two new designs have been added to the range, and we've never felt more glamorous.
2. iWhite Instant and iWhite Teeth Whitening Toothpaste
Get whiter teeth on the go, wherever you go with these travel essentials; iWhite teeth whitening toothpaste and iWhite Instant. Your daily beauty maintenance has never been so easy.
Everyday food and drink can stain your teeth; from coffee, fruit juices and red wine to curry sauces, and indulging on holidays can lead to even more staining on those pearly whites of yours.
These nifty products are small enough to pack, so why not keep your teeth sparkling throughout your time away? Clinically proven to be safe and effective without the use of peroxide, iWhite gives you plenty to smile about.
3. Misslyn 'Beach Please!' Bronzing and Contouring Powder
The heatwave beauty look is oh so easy to achieve with this treat in your suitcase. Misslyn's 'Beach Please!' bronzing and contouring powder will give your skin that glow it's always wanted.
Healthy, sun-kissed skin can be achieved easily with this beautiful, soft-matte texture. We especially love the compact mirror, which makes this the perfect on-the-go top up for your holiday.
4.Payot Peeling Oxygénant Dépolluant
Exfoliating your face is so important for getting rid of all those pesky dead skin cells which haven't naturally shed themselves. When this happens, the leftover dead skin cells can cause dry, flaky patches and clogged pores, which is why exfoliating this summer is imperative for healthy skin.
Payot's crackling foam new skin effect suits every skin type, especially those leaning towards coarseness, and leaves your skin feeling totally brand new. The mask uses triple action- oxygenating, detoxifying, and neutralising pollution- in order to inject new vitality into your skin.
The pink gel will transform into foam which evaporates on the skin, removing impurities and pollution so your natural radiance emerges.
5. Delarom Orange Sugar Body Scrub
What is the perfect product that can help us to keep our glowing summer tans fresh this season? Delarom has the answer.
Their Orange Sugar body scrub contains sweet orange essential oil to gently eliminate dead cells from your body, so you get the most evenly spread tan as possible.
The sugar melts when massaged into the skin, leaving it soft, supple and deliciously scented.
6. Clinique Sun and Body Care Cream SPF 40
Clinique uses 'SolarSmart' technology to stabilise high-level protection against the ageing and burning effects of UVB and UVA rays, but remains suitable for sensitive skin (anyone from Ireland).
We adore their Sun and Body Care Cream, which is oil-free and dermatologist tested as well as water AND sweat-resistant.
Slay queens, without sunburn…
7. Misslyn's Colour Crush lipstick
Statement lips are all the rage for the summer, and red is the perfect colour to make your lips look irresistible.
Misslyn have a new collection of 22 shades, with beautiful creamy texture and rich tones for your make-up bag.
We're loving the unique colours chosen by Misslyn for your summer holidays, you won't be able to pick just one lipstick. They're all too beautiful for your make-up bag to miss this summer.
8. Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadow
We can't get enough of Inglot's latest pure pigment eyeshadow collection. With over 30 shades to choose from, the make-up company are allowing you to have the most sparkly eyes in town this summer for a great price.
The pigment is so easy to spread over your eyelids, and can be used as a highlighting powder for your cheekbones, Cupid's bow and as glitter for your lips as well.
With a product this affordable and this versatile, with that many colour options, you've got to make sure it's packed in that case of yours this year. Your holiday won't be the same without it.
9. L'Occitane Delicious Lip Scrub
L’Occitane's new lip collection is infused with fruits, vegetables and herbs from Provence and the Mediterranean Basin, and the scent of these three lip scrubs alone will have you holiday-ready.
Raspberry Crush, Fabulous Fig and Marmalade Kiss; three flavourful scrubs bursting with goodies for your lips this summer. Enriched with Vitamin E, mandarin extract and carrot, pomelo and pomegranate oils, this gentle exfoliator leaves a sweet and delicious taste you won't want to forget.
10. DAFNI Allure hair tool
When you're on your holidays, it can be tricky to keep your hair as styled as you like it. With sun and sea comes frizz and knotting, but the DAFNI Allure straightening brush is one of the best products around for treating your hair kindly on-the-go.
Pop it in your suitcase or handbag for your travels, and you can make sure you won't be spending all of your trip trying to blow try and then straighten your hair, wasting valuable moments.
Instead, take a few minutes with the styling tool to brush your locks and they'll be straightened and looking glossy in no time, no matter the weather.
Enjoy your holibops, gals, and don't forget to treat yourselves. It's self-care, not vanity. (The Fab Five from Queer Eye came up with that line, we can't take credit…)
Remember: Packing doesn't have to be a tense experience, filled with expletives and forgotten essentials.
Boots Ireland has today announced that it will be the first pharmacy in Ireland to offer a Travel Vaccination Service for customers travelling to certain long-haul destinations. The service sees Boots Ireland continue to lead the way in the provision of pharmacy-based healthcare support.
The Boots Travel Vaccination Service offers protection against a broad range of diseases or infections, which can be found in many exotic or remote travel destinations. It will be available across 10 Boots stores in Ireland, providing customers with convenient access at a time that suits them, with many Boots pharmacies also offering late night and weekend opening hours. The vaccinations will be administered by specially trained pharmacists.
The launch comes as a recent CSO study shows people are travelling more than ever before from Ireland, with 556,000 people making trips overseas in February 2019, up 13 percent on the previous year.
Coupled with the increase in international travel, changes in travel patterns include a continuing trend for visiting remote destinations for longer stays.
Visiting exotic holiday destinations like Bali, India and Vietnam can bring travellers into contact with diseases that are rare, or don’t occur in Ireland, meaning vaccinations are recommended ahead of visiting these destinations to ensure protection while travelling.
The new service is launched at the beginning of World Immunisation Week, starting globally on 24 April, and aims to promote the use of vaccinations to protect people of all ages against diseases.
The Boots Travel Vaccination service is easily accessible through the following steps:
· Complete an initial pre-travel consultation with a doctor who will prescribe the recommended vaccinations. This consultation can be completed online.
· Visit the pharmacy for your vaccination appointment and the vaccinations will be administered by the specially trained Boots pharmacist
The cost of the service will vary depending on the type, and the number of vaccinations required.
Commenting on the new service Caoimhe McAuley, Pharmacy Director Boots Ireland said; “We are very excited to be the first pharmacy in Ireland to offer a travel vaccination service as the interest in visiting exotic and remote destinations is becoming increasingly popular amongst Irish travellers. Protecting the health and wellbeing of our communities is always at the heart of what we do.
"Travelling and exploring new destinations is exciting but can also bring risks when coming into contact with diseases that don’t occur or which are not typically seen in Ireland. Thankfully many of these diseases can be prevented by vaccination. We are delighted to be leading the way in encouraging safer travel with our travel vaccination service."
The travel vaccination service will be available in four of Boots Dublin pharmacies including: Liffey Valley Shopping Centre; St Stephen’s Green SC; Carrickmines and Swords; and across six Boots pharmacies nationwide including: Waterford; Galway Shop Street; Sligo; Killarney; Half Moon Street, Cork; and Childers Retail Park, Limerick.
Caoimhe McAuley, Pharmacy Director in Boots Ireland shares her top tips to consider when travelling to less developed and exotic long-haul destinations:
Research your destination in advance
Consider where you are travelling. Vaccinations are recommended if going to some remote and exotic destinations, particularly those in developing countries, to protect from diseases that are rare or don’t occur in Ireland.
Plan to get vaccinations 6-8 weeks before travelling
Vaccinations take some time to start working, so it’s important to get vaccinated in time, ensuring protection when travelling. Some destinations will require multiple vaccinations to be given at staggered times over a number of weeks, so early consultation is essential.
Pack everything you need to stay safe and well
Having a mini first aid kit with travel essentials like sunscreen, after sun, insect repellent and anti-diarrhoea tablets can help to keep you well and allow you to make the most of your trip.
Choose your food and water carefully
Even after getting the recommended vaccinations it’s important to follow some practical advice to help keep well. In some of these exotic locations, food and water can cause illness to travellers. Do research on where to eat, choosing food carefully to avoid food poisoning and other infections. Water that is bottled and sealed, is usually safe.
Make sure to stay hydrated
Lack of water can lead to dehydration and heatstroke, particularly when visiting warmer and humid climates. Make sure you stay hydrated, drink lots of water, even when you’re not feeling thirsty, and always carry a bottle.
There's a month to go before the hotly-anticipated eight season of Game of Thrones hits our screens.
With the new season on the horizon, hot topics include The Night King (with some even suggesting the villain could take the Iron Throne) and the fate of the White Walker leader.
Whilst these conversation starters are on the tip of our tongues at the moment, there is one factor which is constant, and that's the eye-catching filming locations.
They always look so stunning on film – and guess what?
You can visit them in person and see the jaw-dropping sites for yourself.
Not a bad idea for a weekend away, right?
A map from Globehunters showcases some of the best GOT filming locations, so you can visit them for yourself.
So first up is Dubrovnik in Croatia – where Kings Landing in Season 2 was filmed in and was first seen in The North Remembers Episode.
And the best news is it's FREE.
Another gorgeous location is Þingvellir in Iceland.
The Entrance to the Eyrie’s true location is there and Season 4 wouldn't have been the same without this stunning set.
Another fabulous filming location is in Northern Ireland where in the first episode when we were introduced to Winterfell and the young Stark boys practising Archery.
The scenes were filmed in County Down where you can visit Castle Ward in Northern Ireland for less than £10.

One of Ireland's biggest taxi app, MyTaxi, is set to rebrand it's name to FREE NOW later this year.
The company, formerly known as Hailo, emailed it's customers today and informed them about the name change. The app changed it's name to MyTaxi back in 2017, spending €5 million on the large ad campaign.
In a statement sent to consumers, MyTaxi wrote;
“The most important thing to remember is that there will be no change to the mytaxi service and app. We’ll still have the same app, the same local team and the same 5-star drivers – just with a new name later this year.”
We’ve exciting news We’re joining a new mobility brand family. This means we’re getting a new name and look, and will be changing our name to FREE NOW later this year. Check out more info https://t.co/zLGS3vfq9G#FREENOWpic.twitter.com/YjrA11MHZ9
The company tweeted about the change; "We’ve exciting news We’re joining a new mobility brand family. This means we’re getting a new name and look, and will be changing our name to FREE NOW later this year."
The change is apparently due to a merger between Daimler, it's majority shareholder, and BMW.
SHARE NOW, REACH NOW, PARK NOW and CHARGE NOW are also a part of the “new brand family”, however these groups don't operate in Ireland as of yet.
"At MyTaxi, we're always working hard to give people the freedom to move around cities as easily as possible," they said in their latest statement, according to Newstalk.
"As we continue to grow across Europe, it's important that we are consistent, recognisable and offer the best experience possible to all our passengers, no matter where you hail from".
There will be no change to the MyTaxi service and app, which carried over 16 million passengers across Ireland last year. MyTaxi is available in nine countries and more than 100 European cities.
The FAQs section is available for MyTaxi users to help answer its customers queries.
New research findings by global technology leader Huawei have just revealed that more people now aspire to be a social media influencer than a pro sports player as their 'dream job'.
Seeing as we're all budding photographers, they've decided to launch the Creatives competition for the fourth year in a row, which aims to find Ireland's most creative and talented amateur photographer.
The winner? You can earn the prize of travelling to ANY destination in the whole world, taking snaps on your Huawei premium device from their flagship P30 series as an extra gift.
You can have the opportunity to travel to anywhere in the world, putting Huawei's camera to the test in the trip of a lifetime.
Huawei coincided the launch of the competition with their research findings, which state that 67 percent of Irish people believe that social media inspires them, and 78 percent say it gives them ideas for creative projects.
For a traditionally sports-obsessed country, it speaks volumes that more of us now want to be an influencer. Irish people took a whopping 3,924,723,984 photos in 2018 alone, and social media is now a way to showcase creativity.
Talent can be promoted from your phone nowadays, so Huawei's Creative competition fits perfectly with our budding photographer nation. Why not enter?
All you have to do is share a photo entry with the hashtag #HuaweiCreatives, and one lucky winner will gain flights and accommodation for two to search for new photography experiences.
Last year, the competition had 15,000 entries, but 2019 now has SEVEN additional categories, including night, nature, street and cityscapes.
Capturing Irish scenery, skylines, buildings and fashion shots on Instagram could now lead to a life-changing all-expenses paid trip.
To apply for the Creatives campaign, photograph, your should be uploaded to Instagram with the hashtag #HuaweiCreatives as well as the hashtag for the category they are entering.

The craic is not hard to come by in Krakow, thanks to the city's extensive selection of clubs, bars and historic monuments and tours.
Krakow is perfect for the tourist who can burn the candle at both ends, with chock-a block- daytime activities and then a club scene which doesn't quit until sunrise.
We've rounded up some of the city's hidden gems that you need to visit:
6. Ultraviolence
You may have to ask around to find the exact location of this hidden little place, but it's just off the square in the old town district.
The underground (literally, that flight of stairs is lethal) bar offers unlimited drinks and shots for the one-off price of 60 Polish zlotys, about €13.50.
The free drink selection is slightly limited (vodka and apple juice, anyone?) but the cosy atmosphere and two-tiered smoking area make it an experience you literally can't afford to miss.
5. Macabre Walking Tour of Krakow, plac Mariacki 5, 31-042
This walking tour talks you through the darker, more specific elements of Krakow's blood-stained history.
The tour is completely free, though of course it's only polite to give your tour guide a nice tip at the end.
The tour times are somewhat seasonal, with November to February seeing tours every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 6pm, and March to October seeing tours everyday at 8pm.
1. The Rynek Underground Museum, Rynek Główny 1, 33-332
While this is definitely one of the city's most popular tourist attractions, it is, quite literally, hidden.
The museum is a subterranean structure that is buried deep beneath the town’s famous square.
The museum acts as a final resting place for ancient artefacts, skeletal remains and a maze of walls which were all discovered when the square was undergoing renovations many years ago.
Nowadays, when some of us need career and lifestyle guidance, Instagram has taken over as one of the leading platforms to imitate those whose lives we'd love to lead.
However, when it comes to so many of the primary influencers, the image looks pretty far from reality, not to mention relatability.
Luckily for us, BBC broadcaster, style guru and journalist Angela Scanlon is renowned for her Irish charm, her gorgeous style and her affiliation with Irish brands.
From studying business in college to making the big move across the pond and making it as a stylist and broadcaster, we could DEFINITELY use some of her advice.
We stopped by the launch of Aer Lingus and Bank of Ireland's collaborative project; the new Aer Credit Card, to chat with Angela.
Acting as their new brand ambassador, she gives us some travel tips, career path wisdom and self-care supplements. The card itself sounds like an unreal choice; with two free lounge passes, two priority boarding passes and two return flights to Europe once you hit the 5000 euro spending amount as well as travel insurance on offer. The gal chooses her partners wisely, that's for sure.
As well as boosting Irish companies, she splits her time between London and Dublin while taking care of her daughter Ruby Ellen, who turns one this February.
Since her time at Xpose and Off The Rails back in 2008, Angela has gone from strength to strength on her career path. She now works as a BBC presenter for The One Show, Robot Wars and acts as a panellist for big UK names.
How did she go from studying business to practising fashion guru? Picking out stunner styles is a lot harder than it looks, we suspect…
"In a nutshell, I studied business, I then set up a stall in the loft, I started personal shopping in Dundrum and from there I went into TV as a pundit doing fashion news and trends. From there I knew I really liked TV, and I started pitching fashion programme ideas at the time and then Oi, Ginger, which was the first documentary I did. It all kicked off from there," she says.
We're taking notes in our pristine fashion bible for future reference, and are working up the courage to enquire about her haircare routine. (Those auburn locks are just mesmerising)
"It was a slightly zig-zaggy way of doing things, but I think that was an absolute blessing. At the time I thought ‘Oh God, it’s taking me ten years to figure all of this out’, but actually having had that path often gives me a different perspective and different approach, which I think is a good thing.”
‘I always say to people who think they’ve done the wrong thing, having studied the thing that they want to do ultimately, that actually there are ways of turning that into an advantage. It’s never too late," she continues.
" thought, when I got to London that I was too old to get a break there. You had to be 22 and kind of fresh, whereas I was almost 30 at that stage when I went there. It’s never too late to do what you want to do, but start somewhere.”
The presenter has been open towards her social media followers in the past when it comes to feeling burnt out, trying to make it in an alien city.
One Instagram post in particular saw Angela open up about life as an Irish gal abroad, looking to make a name for herself;
"London was so SO alien to me at that point , I was coming over here with a smile on my face knocking on doors and showing up every single day. Meanwhile I was working for myself in Ireland, trying to build a career in both countries and not really believing I deserved one in either. I was so hideously lonely, I couldn’t find my way around the Tube, I felt constantly out of my depth & I was riddled with self-doubt. I was blindly focused and so terrified I would fail that I didn’t have time to do anything on a personal level… my relationship was under strain, my friends had lost me and my family, although supportive, did wonder what the hell I was doing it for," she wrote.
"I was not even 30 and was close to being burnt the f*ck out! I felt like it was too late to build something, too late to “get a break”, too late to make a go of things & I spent a lot of time deeply regretting the lack of focus I had in my twenties. Really it was a lack of confidence, a lack of belief in my own ability."
It's this kind of honesty that draws her followers to look up to her as a type of down-to-earth mentor. She describes her life in London fondly, but stays true to her Irish roots.
"I do a lot of work with the London Irish Centre, which has Kerrygold and Tayto Irish crisps and McCambridge bread and Cadbury’s chocolate which is better here. Most things you can get online, but it’s more the familiarity, the feeling of always bumping into someone you know in Dublin. That small-town-feel that Dublin has is really quite unique. Not just if you’re Irish, that’s how it feels if you come here. One of my girlfriends came over to Dublin for a five-day break and spent the last three days looking for a job here so she could stay.”
Join us to celebrate powerful Irish women for St Brigid's Day this Feb 2nd – hosted by the incredible @angelascanlon
The woman is loyal to the Emerald Isle by the sounds of things. What drove Angela to make the big move?
“There’s loads of work here (in Dublin) but it’s individual to everybody. I chose to move abroad because I was kind of doing Ireland and the UK at the same time, it was never a deliberate move. Different people move for different reasons. I certainly think the pace is very different, but I do miss the familiarity of having your mum or dad up the road. You take for granted that we’re a new generation who have moved to England who have a lot more opportunities than our parents would have had. You kind of forget that there is a massive amount of vulnerability over there. There’s homelessness and addiction problems that many Irish people struggle with over here, but London is a big city and can be very isolating”
How does she follow her rules of self-care now that she's a big name? She claims that bath-time is where she finds her chill;
“It’s kind of about being really disciplined with yourself about giving yourself a little bit of time. t can be a bit of a luxury, but being in that for, whatever, 20 minutes, and using a face mask. That ritual of putting something on and for ten minutes just hitting pause, I think that’s really important. I’ve started running again, which I haven’t done for a long time. Everyone has to start somewhere."
Be it the start, middle or end, Angela's got it covered. Please be our life coach?

During my twenties, I spent a year and a half travelling the world, from India to New Zealand, Australia to Vietnam, Thailand to USA.
No, I didn't win the lotto: my friend and I were travelling like poor backpackers, finding accommodation for less than 5 quid a night and eating for as cheap as we could. We saved for a few months beforehand, took on some small jobs along the way and managed to make it all work.
One of my fondest memories of this incredible trip is the two times I went to the Full Moon Party, on the island of Ko Phangan in Thailand.
If you are planning on going in the future, I have some advice for you.
For my first Full Moon, I arrived on Ko Phangan one day before what we had originally planed. We thought that the place that we had booked would have a room for a us anyway.
Of course they didn't. The whole island gets fully booked a few days before the D-day. We ended up sleeping in the laundry room of the hotel. That wasn't fun.
2. Do not jump on the fire ropes
After a few glasses of naughty water (booze lads, I mean booze), it might look tempting to give these big jumping ropes a go and literally play with fire.
One of our friends did it and ended up in hospital for days with severe burns. You don't want to do that.
At the Full Moon, the alcohol is purchased in colourful plastic buckets. For about a fiver, you can get pretty much any alcohol and mixer you like, but if you feel a bit fancy, mojitos and cocktail are also available for a few more quids.
Whatever drink you decide to get, do not, I repeat, DO NOT get the cheapest unbranded whisky or vodka on the list. The difference in price isn't worth the utter pain you will feel the following day.
4. Do not go into the water
Feeling a bit warm? Want to go for a quick dip? Sure, you are on the beach after all!
A midnight bath during the Full Moon is a big no-no. Without getting into too much details, people use the sea as toilets and all you will end up doing is covering yourself in human excretions of all sorts. I'll stop here.
5. Wear your flip flops
As you can imagine, the beach doesn't remain clean for very long when thousands of people turn it into the world's biggest dance floor. Glasses, cans, and many other hazardous objects end up in the sand and you don't want to step on them.
6. Don't bring anything of value
This one might seem pretty obvious, but better safe than sorry. Bring the minimum you will need for the night, enough money to enjoy yourself and get a tuk-tuk home, but don't bring a wallet, passport, expensive clothes or a pricey camera.
With all these simple precautions, you will probably spend one of the most amazing nights of your life, meeting strangers and dancing like there is no tomorrow. Enjoy it!
It's happened to many of us…we're travelling to the most Instagram-able spots in the world, yet there's nobody to take photos of us in all our cultured glory.
Whether it's Niagara Falls, the Colosseum of Rome or the white sand beaches in Bali, sometimes a great candid is all we crave. Why waste the opportunity?
If your own significant other can barely hold a camera, or if you're a single solo traveller, finding somebody to capture us at our finest moment can be tedious at best.
Not all of us have a John Legend to work his magic on the lens for the sake of our followers:
Luckily for us, specialist tour operators Roma Experience are now (hilariously) offering an Instagram boyfriend to follow you around all day and get those #travelgoals snaps you've always wanted.
They spotted a gap in the market, that's for sure. Their timing couldn't be better, seeing as social media is playing a massive role in the lives of global youth.
Instagram is even acting as an influential factor in choosing a travel destination, with a ludicrous 40.1% of millennials deeming the site an important factor when considering a holiday. My God, what have we become?
The Roma Experience's 'boyfriend of Instagram' is sure to be a sell-out, offering the unsung heroes of 'likes' to women (and fellow men) from every corner of the world. Bless them.
The Instagram Boyfriend has become an obsession in its own right, with countless pages dedicated to the men who play their part in giving a partner the PERFECT shot for the feed.
The wonderful service allows travellers to hire a profesh photographer to join them on their tour for three hours, taking pictures of them around some of the most picturesque Italian sites the gorgeous country has to offer.
You will then be emailed the iconic new pictures of you at your fiercest, fresh and ready for the gram. Or just your fridge?
The service is an additional €350 on top of the price for the full-day tour of Rome, but can you put a price on insta-worthy images? Hell no. It's 2019, this is our lifestyle now people.
Roma Experience’s Full Day Tour of Rome and Vatican City costs from €643, including all entrance fees, and private transfer from the city centre to the Vatican. The photographic service is an option extra, priced at €355.
Finding the perfect getaway can be a challenging business; you want to feel at ease, relaxed and replenished, but where can you find a spot with the perfect amount of privacy mingled with life-changing views?
Well, this tree hotel in the northern Swedish forests offers rooms perched among the pines with an awesome aesthetic landscape to boot.
It's essentially something straight out of a dream, with different room types like the Bird's Nest, The Cabin and the UFO (legit a flying saucer).
Each of the seven available rooms are all modern variations of tree houses designed by Scandinavian architects, which allow you to bond with nature in the lap of luxury.
The Tree Hotel is so private and remote that you have to fly all the way from Stockholm to the Lulea Airport, and then the hotel organises for a car to collect you, or for a train journey.
You can totally disconnect and enjoy the natural lifestyle, as well as possessing that crucial WiFi in case you need to post an emergency Instagram of your incredible surroundings. Oh. it also has HEATED FLOORS and towers.
There's also a gorgeous restaurant on the property which makes sure to serve only local ingredients. Daytime activities include dog sled tours, ice fishing and photography walks.
You might need to tap into your savings to afford this one, however. Prices range from about €113 to €680 per night, depending on the time of year and type of room.
Maybe add it to the bucket list, or find a sugar daddy to help you out (joking…joking…)
