We're only two weeks in, and it looks like Lord Sugar isn't the only one who can barely believe this year's Apprentice contestants have made it as far as they have in life.

Following last night's episode which saw teams, Titan and Nebular, go head to head in an advertising campaign for Japanese jeans, Twitter went into complete overdrive.

From Jessica's tearful meltdown to Karthik's nonstop ranting, this year's contestants have a long way to go before they've proven they're up to the task.

And with Lord Sugar looking like he'd be more than happy to pull the plug on the whole thing with every passing moment, this year's series is definitely one of the most tense to date.

Thankfully however, the episode – which saw neither team win – was peppered with classic one-liners, woeful puns and individuals you wouldn't leave in charge of a balloon, let alone a quarter of a mill investment.

Twitter, take it away.

As fans come to terms with Will Young’s shock Strictly departure, reports are emerging which suggest that the singer may have grown “fed up” of his dance partner, Karen Clifton.

According to The Mirror, the Leave Right Now performer was struggling to deal with the workload placed on him by the dancer in the run-up to him quitting the show for “personal reasons”.

A source told the paper that the 37-year-old did not like being consistently scrutinised and as a result had “squabbled” with Karen last week during rehearsals for the show.

“Karen was just doing her job, she was training him hard but in the end he just didn’t want to keep getting told off and corrected all the time,” they said.

“It infuriated him. They squabbled a few times during rehearsals and it left him feeling exhausted. He just found the whole process too taxing and didn't think it was worth such a huge effort.”

However, the source’s claims run contrary to a statement released by the star himself on Tuesday.

When announcing he would be leaving the hit series, Will said: “I have found a creative partnership with Karen that has been the most wonderful thing to experience.”

“I will be eternally grateful to her for her direction, talent and guiding me through three wonderful dances that I will be able to show my grandkids in years to come.”

Look, Geordie Shore's Gaz didn't hit the big-time by offering an insightful commentary into global politics, but if his latest column for the Daily Star is anything to go by, the reality star has been only dying to weigh in on Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the controversy that surrounds it.

And while the rest of the world have made up their minds on this one, it looks like Gaz is having a hard time deciding exactly how he feels about the business tycoon.

In a lengthy post, a seemingly confused Gaz lurches between celebrating Trump's 'success' with women to condemning his misogynistic behaviour.

"He's a player when it comes to women. He's a f***ing Silverback, in fact. The man has appeared in Playboy, FFS. I bow down to him," Gaz wrote.

"Their bedroom at the White House, should he get in, is going to get a bashing, ya know."

"He cheated on his first wife Ivana with hot model Marla Maples, then bagged his latest one while on a date with another person, yet that didn't stop the tiger asking for Melania's digits."

And while you'd be forgiven for thinking Trump had a stalworth supporter in the 28-year-old Geordie lad, Gaz then turned his attention to the recently leaked Trump Tapes.

"Hands up. I am guilty of locker room banter, but I am a lad enjoying life, who pulls birds and has had a lot of sex. Here's the thing though, I would never boast about forcing myself on "beautiful women", let alone do it in the first place," he wrote.

"We may have had our fair share of bell-ends (Nigel Farage included), but personally, I prefer our leaders not to talk about grabbing women by the "p***y". Gaz opined. "Mrs Trump, you are one lucky woman. Not."

In a few short paragraphs, Gaz veers between saying he would bow down to the Trump to slamming him for his predatorial attitude towards women before eventually turning his attention to the American public.

"You know what, America, there's a reason clowns keep appearing around the States. It's because having Trump as a Presidential candidate has made your country into a circus," he finished.

Well, thanks for that Gaz. It was as clear as… mud.

If there's anything the US presidential campaign needs right now, it's a short, sharp shot of humour.

Against a backdrop of misogyny and racism, one member of the public decided to divert attention away from the reality of the situation, and instead offer the internet some light comic relief.

And by the looks of things, people are super grateful for it.

In footage, which has been viewed more than 730,000 since its upload last night, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton can be seen putting their differences aside in order to harmonise on one of the greatest love songs of all time.

Channelling their inner Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes, those two really went for it on I've Had The Time of My Life, and let's be honest, they played an absolute blinder.

He may be one of our favourite Geordie Shore cast members, but when his conversation topics generally revolve around bars, booze and birds, it's hard to get a proper insight into the lad behind the party-boy persona.

It looks, however, like his decision to open up about his own personal experience of ADHD and hypomania has given the public a perspective on the Geordie lad they may not have had before now.

In honour of World Mental Health Day, the Celebrity Big Brother winner revealed that growing up with the condition was at times difficult, but insists he feels better able to control the symptoms as an adult.

"It’s a weird thing ADHD, because it is actually good in some ways. But when you’re a kid, it can be really bad, especially for concentration."

As a kid, I would just get side-tracked, I couldn’t sit still, I’d get so worked up and I’d cry and I’d go mad, or I’d lose my temper," he continued.

"But now that I’m an adult, it’s more controlled and it’s really good, because that’s like when you see me on Geordie Shore, running about the place, tidying up and always full of energy."

In spite of this, however, the reality star admits there have been times when he's become upset by the condition and allowed his frustration to get the better of him while filming scenes for the popular MTV show.

"There’s loads of moments on Geordie Shore you wouldn’t have seen where I’ve been upset, especially with ADHD. I’ve got so worked up when I’ve been drunk that I’ve actually started crying because I’ve been that annoyed, and I’ve had to run out the house," he explained.

Congratulating his friend and co-star for opening up about his struggles, Gaz took to Twitter, writing: "Proud of you, bro."

Scotty's followers have been quick to thank the star for helping to remove the stigma associated with the condition, with one writing: "Nice to hear older people speak out about it. My 9yr old son has it and ASD and its hard! People don't understand him."

"It's nice to see you speak openly about this condition. My son has ADHD and there are too many people who label him "naughty"," added another.

Fair play, Scotty.

If you – like us – were a die-hard Sex and the City fan back in the day, you'll be all too familiar with Carrie's notion that the world revolved around her.

While she may have claimed her friends were her life – or 'her insides' as she once told Aleksandr Petrovsky – it was pretty clear who the New York Star writer put first.

And now it looks like Sarah Jessica Parker has offered an explanation for her character's fairly healthy sense of self.

During an interview on Nerdist podcast, the actress suggested that the three main gals in Carrie's life were nothing more than a figment of her imagination.

"I used to wonder if Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda were real. That it’s all for the column."

"They’re such perfectly archetypal characters,” she continued.

“So you’re writing a column about sexual politics and observations of female/male primarily, heterosexual relationships, so you’re picking one type."

Suggesting that Carrie used these imaginary ladies to give her column added authenticity, SJP added: "She is among them because that’s her way of infiltrating story and affecting story too, to have her own actions affect those friendships and document their response."

We've never so much rubbish in all our…oh my God, wait…'her insides'.

Well, that's that then.

With every X Factor comes one token act which has the viewing public up in arms until they eventually get unceremoniously booted off the show.

In years gone by we've had Wagner, Stevi Richie and Jedward, and this year it's all about Honey G.

And while die-hard X Factor viewers are currently working on a petition to have her replaced by another hopeful, other members of the public are More concerned with her resemblance to a certain high-profile businesswoman and TV star.

Taking to Twitter to highlight the issue, social media users have been busy comparing snaps of Honey G with Karren Brady of The Apprentice.

1. There was this guy

2. And this guy

3. And what about this guy?

Apparently, though, not everyone is convinced, and have bigger suspicions about the aspiring rapper.

Interesting…

It normally takes a viewer approximately three episodes to decide whether they're in it for the long haul or one step away from giving up and switching over.

And when it comes to Gogglebox Ireland, it looks like the country officially made its mind up last night.

In a show which featured Terry Wogan, Kerry Katona and Stephen Rochford, the viewing public decided Gogglebox Ireland was an official winner.

Over the course of the TV3 show and long after, Twitter was awash with comments, quotes and gifs which perfectly summed up both the episode and the nation's reaction to it.

Twitter, you can take it from here.

1. High praise, indeed

2. She's every Irish mammy

3. They need to learn, in fairness

 4. Twice, you say?

5. Those twins can do no wrong

6. And finally…

While there's been radio silence from the rest of the Kardashian/ Jenner clan since news broke that Kim had been held at gunpoint in Paris in the early hours of Monday morning, Caitlyn Jenner has now decided to have her say on the matter,

Taking to Instagram last night, Kim's former stepparent paid tribute to Kim's bravery in the face of her violent ordeal.

Sharing a snap of the 35-year-old reality star, Caitlyn wrote: "Love my girl! After hearing the full story, I'm so thankful she's okay."

Caitlyn, who shares a special bond with his stepdaughter, insisted that Kim's ordeal should be a lesson to all of us, adding: "It's a reminder for us all to be careful in the uncertainty of this world."

The post, which has been liked more than a quarter of a million times, has been inundated with comments from Instagram followers.

Unfortunately for the Kardashian/ Jenner family however, not everyone is as empathetic as they might have hoped, with countless social media users using Caitlyn's post as an opportunity to slam Kim.

"That she was brain dead enough to end up in that ordeal and she has NO TALENT what so ever?" wrote one.

"Theres more important things going on in the world than that cabbage brain all over front pages of news papers to stupid to let it happen," remarked another.

"Maybe a little wake up call for people who live in diamond encrusted houses?" commented another. "I'm surprised it hadn't happened sooner tho. Flashing huge diamonds and yacht selfies. No one likes a show off." (sic)

We all know that reality stars come in for whole host of abuse at the hands of keyboard warriors.

And while some force themselves to rise above it, not everyone is capable of turning a blind eye to the insults they receive on a daily basis.

Opening up about her response to online trolling, Geordie Shore star, Sophie Kasaei, admitted that the taunting became so bad, she turned to cosmetic surgery to silence her bullies.

Speaking to new! magazine, the reality star explained that a particular period in her life had caused her to drop multiple dress sizes – weight loss which Twitter users felt compelled to call her out on.

"When I lost the weight last year people were tweeting us saying l looked like a Space Raider crisp, like an alien," Sophie admitted.

Explaining that the comments left her feeling insecure over her appearance, the reality star admitted that she had sought the help of professionals, adding: "So I got fillers in my face and under my eyes."

Sophie dropped to a size 8 last year while suffering from stress.

Remember when Geordie Shore's Charlotte appeared on Lorraine Kelly's chat show and was forced to defend herself against the host's barrage of criticism?

From slamming Charlotte's on-screen antics to criticising her distinct lack of bladder control, Lorraine really went to town on the reality TV show.

And while fans of the star and viewers of the show criticised Lorraine's heavy-handed approach, Charlotte was quick to jump to her defence.

Speaking at the time, she acknowledged the tough nature of the interview and  said Lorraine has gone a "bit far, but was dead nice."

However, it looks like Char has had a serious change of heart since the controversial interview took place and recently admitted she hated the chat show host.

While chatting with The Style on Facebook Live this week, Charlotte was asked to name her least favourite celebrity.

"Lorraine Kelly is a b**ch. I went on her morning show and she was so horrible to us," she vented.

"She didn’t even just be horrible in one answer, she continued and continued. She had it in for us, she hated my guts!"

Momentarily reining herself in, Charlotte then said: "Hate is a strong word so I strongly dislike her. I would never go on her show again. It was c***."

Lorraine, that's you told.

Stepping into the shoes of America’s favourite chat show host is no easy feat, so Miley Cyrus should be giving herself a serious pat on the back for this week’s efforts.

We all know there’s no one quite like Ellen, but the 23-year-old star did a damn good job channelling her.
