So, Gogglebox Ireland FINALLY hit our screens last night and it's safe to say most of the nation are now officially hooked.

From our four favourite ladies in Cabra – "her hair's after bootin' down"- to Paul and Paul from Youghal, something tells us we've found our new Thursday night staple.

And in addition to having a brand-new show to tune into, we've also found ourselves a pair of national heroes… well, we have if Twitter is anything to go by.

Step forward Neal and Fergal Tully from Co Cavan.

So, remember when Phoebe in Friends had triplets for her brother and his wife, and insisted on telling everyone she was having her brother's babies at every availably opportunity?

Yeah, us too – like it was yesterday, in fact.

Except it wasn't. It was nearly 20 years ago – something which we're struggling to get (our ageing) heads around here at SHEmazing! HQ this afternoon.

Anyway, if you're wondering what the kids who played Leslie, and Frank Jr. Jr in season 10 look like these days, wonder no more.

Prepare to feel very very old, ladies.

Here we have Leslie, also known as Allisyn Ashley Arm.

Yep, that's it. We're done with this whole ageing process.

If you're a fan of BBC quiz how Eggheads, you may want to sit down before reading on.

A former panellist for the hugely popular programme, which debuted in 2003, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

According to numerous reports, CJ de Mooi, whose real name is Joseph Connagh, was detained by police at Heathrow airport yesterday after a European Arrest Warrant was issued in the Netherlands.

It has been established that Holland is seeking his extradition in relation to the murder of a mugger in the 1980s.

Mr. Connagh referred to an incident in his autobiography, CJ: The Autobiography of CJ De Mooi: My Journey From the Streets to the Screens, which ultimately raised suspicion among authorities.

Recalling what he described as a moment of self-defence against a mugger, Mr. Connagh wrote: "He caught me on the wrong day and I just snapped."

"I punched him so hard in the face, knocked the knife out of his hand and threw him in the canal. I fully suspect I killed him."

Mr Connagh is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

While controversial in its earliest form, 16 and Pregnant has turned out to be the MTV show that just keeps on giving.

Since 2009, the documentary style reality TV series has been following the lives of teenage mothers across the US and now its spin-off show, Teen Mom, is coming to British shores.

MTV has announced that Teen Mom UK will trail five new mums as they experience motherhood for the first time.

Like its predecessors, the British version of the show which made Maci Bookout, Catelynn Baltierra, Farrah Abraham and Amber Portwood famous, will aim to show the realities young mothers face as they try to balance a baby, their relationships, work and school.

Teen Mom UK will air on Wednesday November 2 at 8pm.

Social media was awash with scornful remarks and disparaging comments this week after a Sky Sports presenter made the mistake of thinking Dublin and Mayo had faced each other in the All-England final last Sunday.

While reporting on the All-Ireland (Repeat: All-Ireland) game at the weekend, Clare Tomlinson appeared oblivious to the fact the game had taken place in Ireland and involved two Irish counties.

But unlike many figures in British media who make no apologies for claiming us as their own when it suits, Clare has taken to Twitter to hold her hands up.

"Still hiding under a rock after my horrendous gaffe about the All IRELAND GAA final," she tweeted this afternoon.

"Apologies to all – please let me visit still." she added.

Thankfully for Clare, us Irish are a sound bunch and wasted no time offering an olive branch, with one writing: "Relax "it could happen to a bishop " as we used to say …you will always be welcome here."

"It was what they call an epic fail! But we forgive you," tweeted another while someone else assured her: "There's always a fire in the kitchen."

OK Clare, you're forgiven – just don't do it again.

At this stage of the game, we’re used to our pals across the Irish Sea coveting what’s ours.

From the British media claiming Colin Farrell and Katy Taylor as their own when it suits them to discovering Netflix have categorised Brooklyn under 'Best of British', the whole thing is a running joke at this stage.

Unfortunately though for one sports broadcaster right now, no one’s laughing.

While covering the Dublin v Mayo game last night, a Sky Sports presenter made a gaffe of such epic proportions we‘re still cringing into our hands here at SHEmazing! HQ.

Despite mentioning Irish counties and running footage which included the Irish National Anthem, this woman was fairly certain that thousands of us had tuned into the All-England final yesterday.

That's right, the All-England.

Prepare yourself for this one, ladies.

Ever since he began hosting Big Brother's Little Brother way back when, we've had a thing for Dermot O'Leary.

And after graduating from the reality show's spin-off programme, he came to further prominence as the host one of the biggest shows on the box – The X Factor.

So when he turned his back on the show last year, viewers were left distraught wondering if he'd ever make an reappearance.

Thankfully for Dermot die-hards, the 43-year-old did, and he gave everyone a right ol' treat in the process… well, that's if Twitter is anything to go by, that is.

While rocking a pair of fitted cream trousers during this weekend's episode of the singing contest, the presenter grabbed the attention of viewers who wasted no time sharing their thoughts on Twitter.

Jeez guys, contain yourselves.

If you – like us – have been waiting with bated breath to get a peek at the peeps allowing TV3 into their living rooms for our viewing pleasure, the wait is now over.

Ahead of the show's launch this Thursday and in effort to keep us ticking over before the big moment, TV3 have introduced a few of their chosen telly addicts, and now we're even more excited.

First up are the Gruffertys from Co. Kildare.

Des, Laura, their daughter Danielle and the family's two Jack Russells might just be Ireland's answer to the McCormicks.

Next on the list are Aga and Szymon.

Originally from Poland, the couple met in college 16 years ago, and here's hoping they fill the void left in our hearts by Steph and Dom.

And finally we have mates Jamie, Lindsay, Ashley and Grainne from Cabra in Dublin.

Friends since childhood and die-hard reality show fans, something tells us we're going to love these ladies.

Let the slobbing out begin!

Having grown up in front of the cameras, you would think Miley Cyrus would have her head in the game when it comes to live TV, right?

From always assuming your mike is on to avoiding the F-bomb on set, the former Disney star should have it all sewn up, but it looks like the pressure can get to everyone at times.

While appearing on the Today show, the 23-year-old star appeared to be having a little trouble adjusting herself on set and simultaneously forgot her microphone was powered on while she questioned what she should do with herself.

"I don't know what to do with my face right now," she said. "What should I do with it?"

After making a series of faces and before dropping the F-bomb, Miley checked herself and said: "There's no sound, so it doesn't matter what I'm saying, right?"

Wrong.

From his role as Joey in Friends to his recent gig on Top Gear, Matt LeBlanc has always been seen as cute, harmless and pretty damn lovable.

But it looks like a recent remark he made at the Emmys this weekend may go a long way towards turning that perception on its head.

While walking the red carpet at the weekend, the 49-year-old actor offered his opinion of Game of Thrones – and Twitter has been having a field day ever since.

While being interviewed alongside GoT's Emilia Clarke, Matt revealed he wasn't a die-hard fan of the show, but Emilia's nude scenes may change that.

"I saw the first season and then kind of fell out of touch with it…and I guess that’s when she started getting naked, so I need to catch up," he said.

And then all hell broke loose in the Twitosphere as social media users debated the nature of the comment.

As Carpool Karaoke segments go, Britney Spears' appearance on the uber-popular Late Late Show segment was underwhelming to say the least.

Maybe the bar had been set too high with past Carpoolers or maybe our inner teenyboppers just really wanted Britney to smash it, but for some reason, it just didn't, well, work.

And James Corden, who did his best to get Brit to chill out and loosen up, faced a grilling from fellow chatshow host Jimmy Kimmel this week when the guys sat down to the show’s Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts segment.

Going in for the kill, Jimmy asked: ”Were you as miserable doing Carpool Karaoke with Britney Spears as it looked like you were?”

Looking genuinely taken aback by the accusation, James replied: “I’m very sad it looked like that. I wasn’t, I wasn’t miserable at all. “

“It… it was great! I wasn’t, I genuinely wasn’t. I think she’s great. I do,” the British star added while trying to contain his nervous laughter.

But Jimmy wasn’t having it, and he made no secret of it either.

Skip to 3.00 for that magic moment.

While we know every little detail about our favourite sitcoms, we're always a little stunned when the people who actually starred in them struggle to remember past storylines or gags.

Thankfully, it looks like the good folk behind one of the biggest sitcoms of our generation ensured their cast members kept on top of things when it came to the show's trivia, and two of them went and proved it this week.

Appearing on the Celebrity Name Game, Courteney Cox tested her former co-star Lisa Kudrow on her Friends trivia, and that girl nailed it.

While the questions weren't exactly difficult – Where did they drink coffee?! Puh-lease! – the two gals gave us serious nostalgic feels about our favourite New Yorkers who shut the door on apartment 20 for the final time back in 2004.

Reunion show, anyone?
