Let’s be honest, Jamie Dornan is a ride in anyone’s language.

And while fans of the Irish star have long since known he’s more than a little easy on the eye, that doesn’t stop them coming over a little hot and bothered every time he gets his kit off.

So the moment footage of him filming the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey hit the internet today, social media users unsurprisingly wasted no time sharing their thoughts on Jamie’s ‘breathtaking’ physique.

Wearing nothing but a pair of swim shorts – he was on a beach in France after all – 34-year-old Jamie channelled his inner Mr. Grey, and prepared to shoot an outdoor sex scene with his co-star Dakota Johnson.

And while many actors might avoid filming such intimate scenes in the presence of their real-life other half, Jamie, on the other hand, harboured no such concerns and invited his wife, Amelia, along to the set.

It looks, however, like fans of the star had less interest in Jamie's laidback approach to the scene, and feared more for each other's wellbeing after exposure to the glory that is Mr. Dornan.

They have a point, in fairness.

Supermarkets are used to having a million and one complaints made to their customer service everyday. You can't make everyone happy, right?

Well, Tesco made one man very upset this week because his bag of carrot batons didn't live up to expectations.

Aaron Swift considers himself quite the carrot connoisseur, so when he came home to a bag of unruly vegetables, he took to Twitter to share his disgust.

He started off by saying: "As some may know I am somewhat a carrot aficionado and it has to be said that these @Tesco batons are the WORST."

The supermarket chain quickly responded, asking him to point out exactly what the problem is… And his reply is simply brilliant.

Aaron posted a picture of the carrots lying on a piece of paper, writing the offence of each one underneath:

"Infested," "curly," and "hacked to bits," (my personal fave) were just some of the reasons why his carrots weren't up to scratch.

Tesco clearly had no comeback and offered the "carrot aficionado" a full refund.

With discussion surrounding rape culture – and its prevalence in everyday life – continuing to rage around the world, it's no surprise that things got more than a little heated on Zendaya's Twitter page yesterday when she saw herself included in a post about rape.

Sharing an image, which has since been deleted, the 19-year-old actress expressed her distress over our generation's regard for women and sex crimes.

According to The Independent, the former Disney drew her followers' attention to a post which featured her, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna alongside a reference to 2013 film, The Purge.

Drawing on the premise of the movie – where all crime is legalised for 12 hours – the Twitter user asked: "If the purge was real, who y'all raping?'

Understandably horrified by the post, Zendaya lashed out at the Twitter user, writing: "This is absolutely disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself."

"Is this really what my generation thinks is ok? she asked "People are sick."

Having gotten the star's attention, the Twitter troll basked in his newfound online notoriety before Zendaya cut him down with a quick assessment of his characteristics.

"The only thing that's lit is your immorality and inhumanity young man. I pray you find some sense," she wrote.

"I don't think I've ever seen something so disrespectful," wrote one of Zendaya's followers in response to the post while another questioned: "Why are people like this allowed on earth?"

Zendaya's posts on the subject have been liked more than 40,000 times since yesterday.

Becoming pregnant by a member of One Direction last year made Briana Jungwirth instant internet fodder as die-hard Directioners clamoured to share their thoughts on the relationship that existed between the LA-based stylist and Louis Tomlinson.

And unfortunately for Briana, the new mum has had to face an inordinate amount of criticism and scrutiny since welcoming her son Freddie in January of this year.

Taking to Twitter last night, the 24-year-old, who is reported in a custody battle with the One Direction star, pleaded with the public to respect her and her child as they reluctantly navigate life in the public eye, but unfortunately for Briana it did NOT go down well.

"To all those who feel the need to make disparaging, hateful and inappropriate comments concerning me and my son Freddie – I am sincerely sorry that you all have chosen to focus your time and attention on my life and the life of my son", she began.

"Surely you must have better things to do than pry into the personal ife of a single mom and newborn child," she continued.

"I am a proud new mother that is extremely joyous about my child being in this world and have shared that joy with my friends and family on a daily basis – often times through social media."

"However, that does not give anyone the right, or an invitation to be nasty and disparaging toward me," she wrote. "So, please stop prying into the private and personal facts of my life and my son's life in order to weave stories and peak public interest."

In the lengthy post, Briana urged people to rethink their approach to her and her son, writing: "I am confident that in the days and weeks to come, you all will find that your negativity and venomous attacks were little more than time wasted."

Unfortunately for Briana, it looks like her words fell on deaf ears with many Twitter users using the post as a platform to slam the single mum.

"I know none of this is real but she's making herself look like a f*cking idiot (I'm loving it), like honey sit ur ass down," wrote one.

Slamming Briana's post, another wrote: "She literally follows every acc out there abt her & "Freddie", also she can put accs on private if she wanted privacy lol." (sic)

Insisting that she's simply looking for attention, Briana's followers suggested she check her privacy settings before suggesting that her personal life is being invaded.

Well, that didn't go to plan…

Let's face it, using social media to take the p*ss out of your parents is just part and parcel of being an obnoxious millennial.

Even though they may have taught you how to use a spoon and pull up your pants, they're unfortunately fair game when it comes to sarky Twitter quips or scathing Facebook statuses.

But it looks like one lad may think twice before deciding to shame his mum in public again if the results of his latest tweet are anything to go by.

"Worst thing about me mother not answering her phone, is her voicemail reminding me that she's on the absolute poverty Tesco Mobile," wrote Mr Joe Lee this weekend in a post which didn't go unnoticed by the good folk behind the network.

Responding to Joe's tweet, they came back with 'Nah the worst thing is your own mother blatantly ignoring your calls', and then. ladies, all hell broke loose.

Absolutely loving the fact Joe got schooled in front of millions, Twitter users wasted no time rubbing his nose in it…cos that's what people do online, right?

"This is it, the most lit tweet of the day. I might transfer to tesco mobile now," wrote one while another commented 'YOU'VE JUST BEEN ENDED BY TESCO MOBILE'.

Sick burn Joe, sick burn.

It looks like Katy Perry has a lot to celebrate today as she has just broken the record for the most followers on Twitter.

And it was the social media site themselves who congratulated Katy with the good news.

They wrote: "It's party time, @katyperry! With 90 million on the guest list, we're gonna need a really big dance floor."

The singer then retweeted their post and said: "Dang that is tight."

The performer is an avid tweeter and often tweets to keep her fans updated with music and behind-the-scenes snaps. However, she also takes to the social media site to share her political and philosophical views and also show off her gas sense of humour.

We bet she's feeling a lot like this right now:

Oh Chrissy, where would we be without your slick one-liners, cutting comebacks and downright hilarious approach to life and motherhood?!

Proving yet again she's one of the soundest celebs out there, the Sports Illustrated model admitted that being uber-famous doesn't make you immune to total mortification.

Taking to Twitter last night, the Lip Sync Battle co-host shared a series of tweets which had the internet lolling all over themselves ever since.

"Our hotel warned us last night they were doing an emergency drill today but I still freaked out and ran outside half naked with the baby," she told her 1.93 million followers yesterday.

"Truly thought it was over for us. Can never show my face around these employees ever again," she added alongside three crying-laughing emojis.

After explaining that she kept screaming "Where's my purse?", the new mama admitted that despite her tweets she was actually in bits since it all kicked off.

"It's on my snapchat. I'm still shaking. Strobes and intercoms, it was too real, man," she wrote. "I just threw up. I do not handle fake trauma well."

Chrissy's tweets have been liked thousands of times since she made the brave decision to revel she truly is as goon-like as us.

Every single one of us knows how hideous first dates can be, so to think a stranger – and a famous one at that – might be rooting for you and your date from across a restaurant would hit anyone in the feels, right?

Well, Twitter certainly thinks so if the reaction to a recent post from Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall is anything to by.

Taking to social media last night, the X Factor success story explained that while on a night out with her boyfriend, they spotted a girl on a first date and really wanted to boost her confidence, but Jade lost her bottle at the crucial moment.

"To the young lady we just sat next to at The Shard who'll probably never see this, Jed and I followed you and your date out of the restaurant and down the lift (bit weird) to try and tell you how beautiful you were, "Jade wrote.

"We could see it was a first date and a bit nerve wracking and we thought it would give you a confidence boost and make you look good in front of your date (we've all been there)" she continued.

"Needless to say when the time came to seize the moment in the revolving door we squeezed in with you (again, weird) to tell you how pretty you looked, I absolutely buckled and couldn't do it," Jade confessed.

"And now you'll never know how much we were rooting for you. We hope the rest of your date goes well," she finished before signing off on behalf of herself and her boyfriend Jed.

Unsurprisingly, Little Mix fans fell all over themselves as they rushed to tell Jade how lovely she was, with one writing; "AWWW it's so sweet I bet if she sees this it'll make her day lol."

"This is lowkey the cutest thing I ever read in my whole life," gushed another.

How much do we hope that gal spotted it?!

Danielle Brooks, who is best known for playing the ever effervescent Taystee on Orange is the New Black, has divided Twitter with a post about flying first-class.

Taking to social media last night, the 26-year-old actress expressed her disappointment with airport staff who appear surprised by the fact she would be flying first class.

Outlining her irritation for her followers, she wrote: "I hate when gate agents look at me like I've never flown first class and say "You're in first class, lucky you! really tho."

And while the tweet was liked more than 2,000 times, some Twitter users struggled to understand Danielle's perspective on the issue.

"Have some humility. Not everyone knows who you are," wrote one Twitter user while another tweeted: "There are people who have to be offended by something so they find anything. You are one of those people."

Stunned that some individuals seemed incapable of acknowledging the possible motivation for the agents' surprise, a fan of the actress wrote: "Spoken like a tru white dude. Do u think white people get astonishment and 'lucky you' comments when flying 1º class?" (sic)

"Say man, I suggest u stop telling black folks how they should feel about certain things," wrote another. "Ur not qualified to do so." (sic)

Debate raged beneath Danielle's post with some Twitter users insisting that the actress was reading too much into the comment while others maintained that 'casual racism' shouldn't be ignored.

Jack Rowe might be an 18-year-old Twitter hit now, but back in 2007 he was SpongeBob SquarePants’ most committed fan.

The Mayo lad recently found a SpongeBob diary written by his nine-year-old self and, naturally, took to Twitter to share the news of his hilarious discovery.

The diary contains epic quotes like “Dear SpongeBob, I wish I was yellow like you and have holes in my body just like you” and “I would like to see [Squidward] nice to you and Pat but I think that will never ever happen.”  Bless!

And as it turns out Jack wasn’t alone in his obsession with the porous cartoon character as he was actually part of an epic three-person SpongeBob-loving crew.

He told Buzzfeed his friend Fiona had a Sandy Cheeks diary which she used to update in the bathroom so her family wouldn’t see.

Take a look below at the SpongeBob diary below:
