Earlier this week Modern Family star Ariel Winter posted a picture from her high school graduation party to Instagram which garnered a whole host of reactions online – mainly because of her outfit of choice.

In the pic the teen star can be seen wearing a nude coloured bandage dress with a sizeable cut-out beneath her boobs, in a clear nod to the new underboob trend.

The post received a whole lot of abuse but thankfully this doesn’t seem to bother Ariel who took to Twitter last night to tell her haters where to go.

Couldn't be more grateful to @shanelle_gray & @davidbarrygray for throwing me the most amazing graduation party ever last night…the amount of love and support they've shown me for the past four years has been life changing. My sister is my absolute best friend and my everything… Thank you so much. I couldn't be luckier or more grateful. I was in awe last night and I still am that you guys love me that much to do all of that for me…I never would be where I am today without you two…you guys saved me and taught me to be the person I am today. Dad…I love you!!! Thank you for always being there to support and love me as well and always put a smile on my face no matter what :). I'm so grateful for the bond we now share. Alenah the song you put together with Shanelle and recorded for me was one of the most special gifts I've ever received. I'm still tearing up thinking about it. Thank you for that and for your beautiful, special performance. Also a big thank you so much to Geraldine for putting it all together and to @contemporarycatering @robpauerful for the most amazing food! A special thank you as well to Sharon who is probably the biggest reason I was able to get through high school and accepted into college…you pushed me to always do my best and encouraged me…not to mention you were always there for my 1am freak outs about late projects 🙂 Anddddd thank you SO MUCH to all of my amazing family members and friends that flew in to celebrate with us- you guys are the absolute best. Thank you also to the ones who didn't have to fly in…so much love was felt all around last night. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!! Class of 2016… #uclabound

She wrote: “Dear sorry body-shamers, I looked HOT in that dress.  And if you hate it, don’t buy it.  But please get a hobby.  XOXO Ariel #EmbraceYourBody.”

The post was quickly followed by another tweet, this time with a picture of the actress posing in a mirror attached.

It was captioned: “Embrace all that you are.  Don’t let those outside voices become your inner voice.”

Again she chose body positive tags: #mychoice #loveyourcurves.

Ariel underwent breast reduction surgery earlier this year after suffering years of back pain.

At the time she told Glamour magazine she’s feeling better about herself than ever before and loves the freedom she has to dress however she wants.

And by the looks of those tweets, she’s not going to let anyone stop her from doing just that.

Ever think your life would be so much better without social media but can’t bring yourself to quit?

Well, your digital detox could be a massive waste of time – if it goes anything like Demi Lovato’s, that is.

Less than 24 hours after making a dramatic departure from social media, Demi Lovato is back on Twitter.

Last night the Cool for the Summer hitmaker tweeted “f**k this..I’m back b*****s.  And I’m coming back more honest than ever” followed by a string of emojis.

This time sticking to her statement, Demi posted again a few hours later: “I love my Lovatics so f*****g much.”

“I love my Lovatics too much to leave them over some lame ass haters..What was I thinking?!”

Welcome back, Demi!  Just please try and stay this time…

Uh-oh… Things don't seem rosy at all for Demi Lovato at the moment.

Not only did she break up with her boyfriend of six years last week, but now she's announced that she's quitting Twitter and Instagram.

She took to social media last night to say she doesn't like the response she receives on some of her posts, and then later took to Twitter to share a message about why she's quitting Twitter and Instagram for good.

“But why do people actually give a f**k what I say?? like if you don’t care the gtfo haha (sic).

"That one time I started my own charity providing mental health care for people who can’t afford it and this is what y’all talk about,” she shared.

She then told her followers to follow her on Snapchat to keep them updated.

Last week, there was much discussion on what Cheryl Cole wore to a wedding.

The wedding in question was that of Ruth Payne's – the sister of mega-famous 1Der Liam… now also Cheryl's totes-loved-up beau.

Many commented that the outfit The X Factor judge opted for – a grey and shapeless tunic to her ankles teamed with chunky black platform heels – was unusual for a star ordinarily associated with red-carpet glamour and fashion-forward choices.

Indeed, rumour was abound that the 33-year-old was expecting her first child, while others suggested her wardrobe was dictated by a desire not to upstage the wedding party itself.

Now even the bride has weighed in on the speculation, stating that she "had no say over what any guest wore to my wedding".

"Don't know who does have a say but considering my brothers girlfriend is one of the most beautiful women in the world she can wear anything and still look stunning as she did at my wedding," she added.

Ruth admitted that she was prompted to take to Twitter and make the statement because she "did something i shouldnt and read comments on online articles about my wedding".

She later explained: "Sorry but had to say something, im just a normal girl who married my childhood sweetheart in my dream wedding."

Ms Payne had earlier revealed that she lost a total of 3stone in the run-up to her nuptials and that she 'loved' her wedding dress.

We have to admit that we raised an eyebrow when it emerged that Cheryl Cole and Liam Payne were an item.

However, they're definitely the couple that has REALLY won us over. In fact, we dare say that the duo have fast become one of our all time favourite celebrity pairings.

And while pregnancy speculation has swirled before, it seems that one particular leaked image has sent fans into baby rumour overdrive.

Over the weekend, a dressed-down Cheryl and Liam attended the wedding of his sister, Ruth.

The event had a strict no-pictures, no-social media policy, but a few sneak-peaks have now begun to emerge on Twitter – and scores of fans are CONVINCED that the pop-star is sporting a baby bump.

Wearing a loose grey tunic, there seems to be the tiniest hint of pregnancy in the just-unveiled snaps (in a normal person ate-a-bowl-of-pasta kinda way). However, another more telling image shows the 32-year-old shielding her stomach with her clutch bag while Liam places a protective hand on her back.

Whether an unfortunate angle or a trick of the light, we dare say it's probably the most pregnant the Newcastle-native has ever looked.

Understandably, today there has been no official word from either camp in relation to the leaked photos or the resulting rumour.

It was a bad night for Kylie Jenner last night as her Twitter account was hacked.

However, the 18-year-old didn't seem to mind that much…

The flurry of tweets had an abundance of colourful language, yet the one that stood out the most to her 16 million followers was: "I love being so famous with no talent." Ouch.

The tweets were deleted nearly as fast as they went up, but that didn't stop eagle eyed fans taking screenshots of them.

Soon after the hack started, Kylie took to a different social media platform, Snapchat, to tell her fans that she didn't really care and that she's going to let the guy have his "fun."

One of the tweets was liked by @lolsw4y, the same user accused of hacking Katy Perry's account earlier this week.

Marnie Simpson is not one to mince her words but the controversial Geordie Shore star's comments landed herself in trouble this week with none other than Made in Chelsea's Lucy Watson.

After being involved in a pretty serious body-shaming war with Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jasmine Lennard earlier this week, Marnie wrote in her Star magazine column that while she once wished she was as thin as the Made in Chelsea girls, she's now glad that she's not that skinny.

She said: “I tweeted when I was pissed that I was jealous of the MiC girls’ thin bodies, but actually I don’t think I’d like to be that skinny."

Before adding: “Lucy Watson looks like a skeleton.”

Lucy then took to Twitter to call Marnie up on her comments.

The slim brunette – who is a proud vegan – tweeted the geordie saying: “yeah you look great! Shame you then had to go and insult my body to make yourself feel better.”

Marnie quickly tried to defend herself by saying it was only an opinion but seemed to make the situation even worse by adding: "But if u wana be nasty I can be nasty too."  Oh, dear!

Eventually Lucy pointed out the irony of the situation by tweeting: “Girls think it’s out of order for someone to call them fat then go around publicly calling another girl a skeleton #StopBodyShaming.”

Given that neither reality star is known to back down, we doubt this is over.

Last week, Calvin Harris was involved in a terrifying car crash which saw him land himself in hospital with "facial lacerations."

He was on his way to a gig, which he had to cancel, and since has been on bed rest at home.

His team had to make many announcements following the incident as he was unable to perform on a number of occasions:

“Adam is still recovering from the injuries sustained in the car accident last Friday,” the statement on Facebook read.

“Unfortunately, as a result he will not be able to perform in Las Vegas at Hakkasan tonight, 5/26 and Omnia tomorrow, 5/27. He has asked us to pass on his apologies to everyone who was due to attend the shows and hopes to be back to his normal schedule soon.”

But now, the DJ has spoke out, apologising to his fans for cancelling gigs, and thanking them for their support:

We hope he continues to make a speedy recovery.

With fame, comes fans, and apparently with fans, comes a lot of abuse.

Niall Horan took to Twitter last night to totally hit out at a group of fans who have been sending him really mean messages on social media.

He admitted that the people in question have been keeping him up at night and have "been saying the worst things ever."

To be honest, Niall is such a sweetie that we'd wonder why anyone would ever say a bad word about him!

Since they burst onto the music scene in 2010, One Direction have had to deal with more than their fair share of mass hysteria.

And while Directioners definitely have a name for themselves as hardcore fans, some amongst them tend to take things too far as one girl who recently spoke with Louis just proved.

In an unedited piece of audio which was uploaded to Twitter by 1D Updates, a female voice can be heard saying: "You f*cking bitch. I hope your baby dies."

After a moment's silence, a voice purported to be new dad, Louis, who welcomed baby son Freddie at the beginning of the year, responded: "Did you really just say that?"

Slamming the anonymous caller, Louis continued: "Luckily I’ve got you on record here so that’s gonna go straight to my lawyer. Well done…Well done."

After the audio hit the internet, Twitter went into meltdown, with thousands of 1D fans and followers apologising on behalf of the anonymous young fan, with one writing: "He doesn't deserve this. He's a good person to let this "slide" I don't get y he gets sm hate." (sic)

"Meanwhile, the rest of us innocent fans, who love and cherish the boys dearly, are tarred with the same brush and portrayed as crazy and psychotic because of one individual's actions," wrote another.

"We are not all like that. I'd be bawling my eyes out if got a phone call with Louis, I'd tell him I loved him, not waste it wishing death upon a baby," they finished.

We've heard some awful 1D stories in our time, but this has got to be the most shocking.

Earlier this week, TMZ shared photos of Orlando Bloom and Selena Gomez apparently hooking up.

While the snaps were blurry, they still seemed quite close and snuggled up.

AND then, a video emerged of them both leaving the club together in the same car, just after said photos were taken.

Of course, after the story leaked Katy Perry – Orlando's GIRLFRIEND – took to Twitter to post a pretty cryptic tweet, saying: "Is that all there is?" along with a link to Peggy Lee singing the song of the same name.

But that wasn't all. Katy tweeted again, this time including her man in the message.

She said: "Instead of giving energy & eyeballs to dumb conspiracy, check out how cool this is," and posted a link to Orlando's article he wrote in Time about his trip to Ukraine as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.

This just kinda shows she really doesn't give AF when it comes to the rumours.

But then, Selena Gomez butted in – and apparently she agrees with Katy! The singer retweeted Katy's tweet, adding the praise hands emoji.

And later, she tweeted again, saying:

Whatever is happening, we certainly didn't expect that outcome.

Scotty T popped up on Aussie soap Neighbours last night and Twitter just couldn't handle it.

In his cameo role, he pops up for only a few minutes and makes a laugh out of one of Ramsay Street's residents.

AND you're going to see more of him on the soap too. The show's bosses liked him so much that they asked him back to do another appearance.

Here's Twitter funniest reactions to his cameo last night:
