Anne Hegerty has been on the receiving end of huge support and praise after her debut on I'm A Celebrity on Sunday night.

The 60-year-old, who is known for her role as The Governess on The Chase, has spoken out about being autistic.

Anne was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome in 2007 when she was in her mid-forties.

She has discussed finding this out later on in life.

She said, "When you've grown up always knowing that there's something that seemed to be different about you from most people and not being able to understand until my mid-forties that what we were talking about here was autism, I’ve had to learn an awful lot about myself and what I can and can’t do and what I can or can’t cope with.''

The Yellow Team’s bond is already solid. Stay strong, Anne! #ImACeleb

A post shared by I'm A Celebrity… (@imacelebrity) on

She admits that she struggles with large social groups and is worried about how she will be able to cope in the jungle.

She said, “The show bosses seem more anxious about my autism than I do. They keep saying, ‘You must say if there’s a problem’, and I keep saying, ‘I’ll be fine.’ And they keep saying, ‘no no no that’s not good enough you have to promise if there’s a problem.''

She continued, “I might get peopled out, there might just be too many people around. I might feel like going to sit in the pool until everyone has shut up a bit. On the other hand, it might have advantages if I’m not as good as other people at picking up on bad atmospheres I’ll be happy drifting along.”

G'wan Anne.

People are loving her on social media, and she's getting a huge amount of encouragement.

One person wrote, ''From someone who also suffers from the same condition I can understand how much this is out her comfort zone and I am rooting for her so much! What a brave lady.''

Another said, ''Anyone who's abusing Anne Hegarty on I'm a Celebrity need to realise how far outside her comfort zone she is going as it isn't easy for people on the autistic spectrum to do these kinds of things.''

A third added, ''Anne Hegarty holds a special place in my heart, that woman is a gem.''

Anne did get teary-eyed when she entered the camp, saying, ''I’m really close to saying I can’t do this.''

She was then comforted by fellow camp mates Emily Atack and Fleur East.

We think that she is such an inspiration and will be rooting for her all the way – Anne for Queen of the Jungle.

I'm A Celebrity... continues tonight on ITV at 9pm.

BBC newsreader  Kate Silverton has become the latest casualty of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 48-year-old and her pro dancer partner Aljaž Škorjanec took to the dance-floor in the Blackpool Tower Ballroom with a beautiful American Smooth, yet they found themselves in the bottom two alongside cricketer Graeme Swann and his partner Oti Mabusse.

While this is Graeme's third dance-off in four weeks, the four judges opted to save him unanimously.

Doesn't make sense, does it?

News flash! Kate and Aljaž are the latest couple to depart the dance floor, ending their Strictly journey on a high

A post shared by BBC Strictly (@bbcstrictly) on

Graeme and Oti gave an energetic performance with their Couples' Choice Theatre and Jazz routine, however many fans were shocked at the choice to give Kate the boot as Graeme's routine seemed to lack technique.

The judges seemed to like the more showbusiness-style as opposed to Kate's rather simple ballroom dance.

Bruno said, “Purely based on what I saw I have to go for the couple that gave the more accomplished and overall stronger performance.''

“And for that reason, I think Graeme and Oti.”

Kate then broke down in tears after she was announced as the eighth celebrity to leave the competition.

And the fans didn't waste any time in taking to Twitter to air their frustration that the judges seem to be making the wrong choices a lot lately.

One wrote, ''It's got to be time to say goodbye to Graeme Swann, hasn't it?! I prefer Kate and Aljaz but that's a different story! #Strictly.''

Another said, "So sad to see Kate leave. Thought she was the better dancer in the dance-off. #Strictly.''

While others fumed,  "So disappointed at the #Strictly result! Kate is one of my favourites! No idea how Graeme keeps getting through these dance-offs, he’s terrible! He’s seen off all 3 of my favourites now!"

Another angry fan tweeted, ''judges…ever gone to Spec-savers?''

What do you think – right choice or have the judges lost the plot this series?

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One.

Ariana has had one hell of a year.

But now, she is ready to leave all the sh*ttiness behind and embrace what's to come next.

The 25-year-old took to Twitter to express how grateful she is for the ''painful and yet beautiful and exciting chapter of life'' in the wake of her shock split from her fiance, comedian Pete Davidson.

She wrote to her 58 million Twitter followers, ''when it rains it pours but i’m embracing all of it.''

She continued, 'I'm excited for whatever else the universe has in store for me.''

The pop star went on to thank her friends, who recently threw her a surprise party.

She wrote, ''Thank u to my best friends who have helped me turn the literal sourest of lemons into the sweetest pink ass lemonade ever @victoriamonet @tbhits @taylaparx clink clink bitch.''

So sweet!

She also responded to a fan's message and said, ''I honestly wouldn't have been able to continue at all or process any of it as well without u as my motivation. ‘so thank u for holding my hand thru it all, wether u could feel it or not.''

These tweets come after she split with Pete after a whirlwind four-month relationship.

At first it seemed that shade was being thrown by both parties, with Pete poking fun at his former fiancee in a Saturday Night Live skit and Ari tweeting, ''For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh.''

Now however, the pair appear to have dropped their feud, with Pete saying that Ariana is ''a wonderful, strong person and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world.''

We can't keep up – but we do say keep that chin up Ariana.

The relationship memes just keep rolling and all us single folk know this one a little too well.

Lili Reinhart is so DONE with online bullies right now.

She has always been vocal about the huge amount of attention that has come her way since she joined the Riverdale cast, and not all of it is positive.

Some of her fans seem to have trouble realising that both Lili and her co-star and real-life boyfriend Cole Sprouse, who plays Jughead Jones, are not actually their characters.

Since Shannon Purser shared an on-screen kiss with Jughead, all of the #Bughead army have been sending MASSIVE amounts of hate poor Shannon's way.

Shannon Purser has never been one to shy away from defending herself, like the true queen she is, and LIli Reinhart has her back.

The former Stranger Things star plays the character of Ethel on the hit Netflix show Riverdale, Wednesday's episode had fans up in arms about a plot-line that was totally out of the actress' hands.

Ethel told Jughead that he had to kiss her in order to get the “scripture” for G&G, so Jughead gave her a quick smooch and they both moved on. Sounds simple, doesn't it? Nope.

Twitter trolls proceeded to attack Shannon, calling her "fat" and "ugly" simply because her FICTIONAL character kissed Jughead. *Sighs*

The Sierra Burgess is a Loser actress allegedly posted a Spongebob meme accompanying the phrase: "All the stans who finally feel comfortable calling me fat/ugly now that Ethel has interfered with their ship.”

She then went on to add, "I’m not stressed about it, trust me. I just wonder what these people will think in like 10 yrs when they remember their twitter and realize they insulted and attacked real human beings for their character on a tv show…"

The Riverdale fanbase is passionate, to say the least, especially regarding relationships. At the end of the day, the show is fictional.

While Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse date IRL, what happens to their characters onscreen is totally unrelated, but some viewers are still angry AF.

Here's a lil video that the Riverdale cast made to teach 'Safe Shipping'. Watching characters fall in love and desperately wanting them to get together can be a draining process, but the actors themselves are here to teach you.. enjoy gals.

Obviously it would be wrong to tar an entire gender with the same brush, but sometimes people need a little reminder that women experience the world differently to men because of increased fears of being attacked, mugged or sexually harassed.

Statistics show that men orchestrate the majority of crimes in Ireland, and one Twitter user is asking women at large what they would do if men had a 9pm curfew.

Of course, crime would still be committed by female criminals, but the women responding had a lot to say about the freer ways they would live their lives if men we're tucked away in bed by 9pm.

At SHEmazing HQ, we considered our own answer to this intriguing question:

'I would put on my sexiest ensemble, get hammered, and sing all the way home. I would live my life without late-night fears looming over me.' – Shayna Sappington, SHEmazing writer

'I would go for a run with both earphones in and the music as loud as I wanted because I know I don’t have to keep an ear out for someone coming up behind me.' – Sorcha McMangian, SHEmazing writer

'I'd stop clutching my keys in my hand, pop my headphones in and listen to Fleetwood Mac on full volume because I'd finally feel safe walking down the road I've lived on for 24 years.' – Kat O'Connor, SHEmazing writer.

Ariana Grande has been through a lot.

The singer had announced earlier this month, that she was taking some "much needed time to heal and mend" following "events of the past couple of years."

The 25-year-old was, of course, referring to the Manchester bombings in 2017, which tragically claimed the lives of 22 people.

Just when Ariana thought the worst was over, heartbreakingly she was informed of Mac Miller's untimely death.

In a series of tweets, Ariana expressed just how difficult this past month has been for her.

But she reassured fans not to be concerned about her cryptic tweet, that she is trying to get back to some sort of normal.

Replying to a fan, she said: "you're angels in my life. It's just been a tough month. I'm trying to get my work done and get back to normal, and it's hard, and I'm human and tired. Sorry I let you in or worried you. I shouldn't have tweeted. I know better."

That cryptic tweet was published an hour earlier, and it's completely understandable that fan expressed their worry for the God Is A Woman artist.

Ariana wrote: "Can I please have one okay day. Just one, please."

Given all she has been through, you can't blame Ariana for the tweet.

Going through the grief of a loved one is never easy and it's most definitely a long healing process.

We hope that Ariana gets her peace soon.

After calling it a day in 2012, the boy band have reportedly signed a new deal with Universal.

It looks like taking to the stage again to belt out classics like Swear It Again, What About Now? and You Raise Me Up will be Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Nicky Byrne and Kian Egan.

Before they split,, the group had 14 UK number one singles and 50 million record sales worldwide.

This will be their first time playing to a crowd since their farewell tour six years ago in Croke Park.

Former EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook has announced that she is battling womb cancer.

She took to Twitter to thank everyone for their well wishes and support.

The actor and reality TV star revealed that she will undergo a hysterectomy and that on hearing the bad news, she immediately thought of her late friend Jade Goody, who passed away in 2009 from cervical cancer.

The 44-year-old said, “I’ve always said I am not scared of dying. But when the doctor said, ‘You have cancer’, straight away my thoughts turned to Jade and that I don’t want to die. I know I need to fight.”

Danniella's mum was diagnosed with womb cancer  30 years ago, but she beat the disease after undergoing treatment on the NHS.

She said, “they are taking me in in three weeks for a full hysterectomy. Before they take it out they won’t know to what extent the cancer has grown.”

Danniella went on to explain that the cancer was found by a doctor in Spain, where she lives, after a few weeks of heavy bleeding.

The diagnosis was confirmed  by a doctor in Essex when she returned to the UK.

Our thoughts are with the mother-of-two as she battles this illness.

As October 31st looms, ideas for Halloween costumes are gathering momentum.

Yet what we weren't (but probably should've been) prepared for was a sexy version of The Handmaid's Tale.

Oh, the irony.

Hours after Yandy put the "Brave Red Maiden Costume" on sale yesterday, the overwhelmingly negative social media backlash poured in.

For those of you that don't know, the Emmy-awarding winning TV hit adapted from Margaret Atwood's dystopian novel tells the story of a future in which women's rights have been taken away by a patriarchal, right-wing government.

So yes, a ''sexy'' version of those women are exactly what is needed for a Halloween costume.

The response online was obviously one of shock and disgust leading Yandy to release a statement defending the decision to advertise the costume.

They said, ''our initial inspiration to create the piece was through witnessing its use in recent months as a powerful protest image. Given the sincere, heartfelt response, supported by numerous personal stories we’ve received, we are removing the costume from our site.”

The costume was listed with a message urging the wearer to "be bold and speak your mind."

Retailed at $64.95, alongside lingerie-style Halloween costumes, some people did defend the costume as an ironic approach to female empowerment.

One said, ''I don’t get the pearl clutching over the sexy handmaid’s tale Halloween costume. I doubt it was the intention but I find it kind of subversive. Anyway let women wear what they want on Halloween and all days!''

Others were just not having any of it, with one tweeting,''I guess I don't find oppression and violence "sexy."

Following the controversy, Yandy said, “over the last few hours, it has become obvious that our ‘Yandy Brave Red Maiden Costume’ is being seen as a symbol of women’s oppression, rather than an expression of women’s empowerment.

What do you think about removing it – overreaction or eh, duh?

It's Strictly season again and last night gave us our first look at the 2018 couples.

Among them was Kate Silverton, the energetic BBC newsreader who scooped the fab Aljaz as her partner.

She may be getting ready to dive into the most glittery experience of her life, but Kate has had to deal with a few unpleasant comments as a result.

The 48-year-old has had online trolls accuse her of ditching her children to appear on the dance program.

Kate is mum to two kids – six-year-old Clemency and four-year-old Wilbur – with husband Mike Heron.

Kate told Hello! at the Strictly press launch reason why she had put off appearing on the show – and it has to do with motherhood.

''The reason why I have never done Strictly before is because I have two children. My kids are too young, now they are four and nearly seven – I just thought now it would be a good time to take part,'' she said.

However, she was forced to reply to nasty comments on Twitter about hw she planned to juggle Strictly and her kids.

The outraged broadcaster tweeted, "Mr 'anonymous' I take my time with my children very seriously – my children will both be at school when I am training – it's the reason I have agreed to do #Strictly this year. I agree mothering is the most important job – but I would never seek to preach."

A post shared by Kate Silverton (@katesilverton) on

Kate will be more than able to juggle her home life and the show – and she has explained how everything is all starting to blend together.

''My husband also works away a lot, so we are 'juggling juggling' the situation a lot between us. But the nice thing is, I took Wil to a photo shoot, which is hilarious – so I had to get Graziano [Di Prima] to babysit. They were wrestling on the floor at one point."

"So you know, I can get the children involved which is great,'' she added.

Good luck Kate and ignore those haters – we can't wait to see those dance moves on Saturday night!
