All us dog owners do it – raising our arm up with a ball in our hand, slowly reclining, and pretending to throw it.

It’s hard to tell why we get such a sense of amusement when our dogs run off to catch the ball that is still in our hands. They run back looking confused and we know we are getting far more entertainment from this than they are.

It’s definitely safe to say that this particular dog was less than impressed when his owner attempted the popular ruse.

 

The dog’s owner, 18-year-old Jasmine Milton, spoke to Buzzfeed about her dog Anuko and the amazing affect that he has had on her life.

“He’s very affectionate and loves attention – typical of the husky breed.” Jasmine got Anuko when he was just eight weeks old. “He was then and has always been regarded as a ‘gentle giant,’ despite his looks.”

Jasmine explained how Anuko came into her life when she was suffering from depression. “He’s forced me to go out when all I want to do is lay in bed. He’s made me laugh when nobody else was able to, and now he’s making the rest of the world laugh.”

“He’s my hero and definitely more than just a pretty face!”

Anuko sounds like a truly amazing dog. However, if Jasmine wants him to stay her hero, she better start throwing the ball!

Mark Wright took just about everyone aback in the early hours of this morning.

Taking to Twitter following a night out in Dubai, where he is enjoying the last moments of his honeymoon, he launched a scathing attack on his former fiancee, Lauren Goodger.

"It's hurtful to think one person needs to mention YOU every week to earn a living," he Tweeted: "If your reading this, please PLEASE respect my wife and STOP. Everyone has a past, get over it!!"

He concluded with: "I'm sure there is other ways to make money."

And considering Lauren has never been one to hold back and keep quiet, we've been waiting for her inevitable response ever since.

“Mark is right – this situation is incredibly embarrassing," a statement just released by her rep read. "Week after week Lauren has to suffer endless source story lies printed about her in the press surrounding Mark.

"The list is as long as it is ridiculous.

“It’s hurtful for Lauren to constantly be painted in this way," the statement continued.

Her rep also cited the reports of her attempting to gate-crash Mark and Michelle's wedding as "ludicrous".

Interestingly, the rep states that Lauren is actually "privately" with a new man: “Lauren has privately been in a relationship too and this unwanted attention surrounding her ex of many years ago is certainly not welcomed."

The statement concludes with: “She once again wishes them nothing but the best.”

Seems rather lady-like and civil – but are you #teamMark or #teamLauren?

Wowsers!! On his last night on honeymoon, newlywed Mark Wright has lashed out at his former fiancee, Lauren Goodger.

​The reality TV star and his wife of two weeks, actress Michelle Keegan, have been sunning themselves in The Maldives, and latterly in Dubai, where they remain now.

But following a final night-out in the Middle Eastern city, 28-year-old Mark couldn't help taking to social-media for a rant.

He said the "endless mentions" of him and his new love were "embarrassing" for Lauren and further revealed that lawyers have become involved in the situation.

He added: "It's hurtful to think one person needs to mention YOU every week to earn a living," before tweeting: "If your reading this, please PLEASE respect my wife and STOP. Everyone has a past, get over it!!"

He concluded with: "I'm sure there is other ways to make money."

Don't hold back, Mark!

Lauren and Mark dated on-and-off for more than a decade, and were even engaged for a period of time.

However, within six months of their 2012 split he met Michelle – and evidently was smitten. He popped the question within nine months, and they married in a lavish €1.4m ceremony in Suffolk late last month.

It is suspected that a picture Lauren posted to Instagram may have sparked her former love-interest's anger. In the shot, which she has entitled, "Dubai my holidays," complete with a double-heart emoji, she is seen holding a glass of champagne having tucked-in to a lobster feast. Interestingly, just six hours later, Mark began his tirade.

Following his late-night outpouring, Essex-native Mark made sure to re-Tweet messages of support from his fans. One said: "Actually about time you did write something Mark! Good on you."

Another stated: "Very well said Mark – why can't she just leave you and your lovely wife alone and move on.

Although, a third fan highlighted: "Don't give her the attention & publicity she craves, leave lawyers to deal with it. Congratulations on your wedding xx"

Ms Goodger raised eyebrows when she posted a cryptic message to her Instagram account just 48hours before Michelle walked up the aisle.

In it she wrote: "She's the kind of girl a guy meets when he's too young, and he f***s up because there's too much living to do. But later he realises she's perfect."

However, since Mark's incredible late-night revelations, she has so far remained silent on social media.

It might seem difficult living in the shadow of the Kardashian tribe, and now Caitlyn Jenner and her social media record shattering, but Kanye West can certainly hold his own.

Today is no different for the hip-hop superstar as June 8 is his 38th birthday. Happy birthday Kanye!

 

His thirty-seventh year was nothing to laugh at. Kanye announced that not only would he and his wife, Kim Kardashian be welcoming another baby into their family, but he also announced plans to release a new album, titled SWISH.

The star also debuted his fashion line in New York and received an honorary doctorate from the School of Art Institute Chicago.  This was in recognition of his contributions not only to music but fashion and popular culture.

Kanye also made sure to spend plenty of time with family this last year. He travelled with Kim and sister-in-law Khloe to Armenia, the Kardashian family’s ancestral country. While there Kanye surprised everyone with an unplanned concert!

Kanye’s not the only member of the West family who likes to give back. Today, wife Kim took to Twitter to wish her husband a happy birthday. Which led to the star’s birthday to be trending on the social media site for some time earlier today.

 

Kris Jenner also chimed in to wish her famous son-in-law well on his special day, despite the famous mom-ager keeping notoriously tight lipped with regard to other family matter recently. Namely her ex-husband’s recent transition from Bruce to Caitlyn.

While we all hope the hard working star enjoys his special day, we do have one burning question. Who is going to have the bigger cake, Kanye or North?

Vanity Fair editors kept the Caitlyn Jenner cover top secret for as long as possible, it has now been confirmed.

They even opted to keep the computer used to design the issue stored in a locked room and disconnected entirely from the internet. Furthermore, the plant where the cover was printed was surrounded by heavy-duty security.

However, it looks like all the hush-hush activity really paid off: After an incredible international response, Caitlyn has most certainly arrived and is going nowhere. Indeed, if the latest rumours are to be believed, she is currently being courted by the likes of MAC for high-profile campaigns.

Of course, in 1976, when we still knew her as Bruce, Ms Jenner broke world records as an Olympic competitor. Fast-forward to 2015 and she’s smashing her step-daughter’s attempts to #breaktheinternet.

The Vanity Fair website is claiming that within the first 24 hours more than 46million users were reading and watching content relating to Caitlyn’s big reveal. By way of a comparison: Kim and Kanye’s Vogue cover shoot video has amassed some 825,000 views after a year; Caitlyn’s has notched up 17million views just since Monday.

And it’s not just Kim’s attempts at celebrity domination that are being smashed by her step-parent: Kanye West joined Twitter in 2010, and 24 hours later he could lay claim to 200,000 followers.

But Caitlyn broke the 1million milestone in an incredible four hours. So the Twitter universe is definitely #teamcaitlyn, with plenty of our favourite celebs such as Anna Kendrick and Lena Dunham tweeting their support after the big reveal.

A publishing insider even told the New York Daily News that “Caitlyn is killing Kim” in terms of online supremacy. 

We can’t imagine that’s going down so well with Kim or, indeed, her momager Kris Jenner.

Released late this afternoon, Caitlyn Jenner's stunning Vanity Fair cover quickly set the internet alight, trending in Ireland and worldwide. 

Indeed, Guinness World Records announced this evening that the former Olympian's new Twitter handle, @CaitlynJenner, had reached 1m followers faster than any other account: it took her just 4hours and 3minutes to notch up the seven-figure tally.

And some very famous faces were also quick to react, taking to their online profiles to praise the reality TV star.

It's been over two months since Zayn Malik shocked fans all over the world by quitting One Direction for good in the middle of their world tour.

The singer, who was an unknown before competing in the 2010 series of The X Factor when One Direction first began, said he wanted to be able to live a "normal" life again.

Over the last 24 hours though, fans have been sent into overdrive on Twitter with the rumour that Zayn might be returning to 1D.

The speculation started when hundred of Twitter users in Brazil started tweeting with the hashtag #WelcomeBackTo1DZayn. The hashtag soon started trending worldwide as other fans picked up on the rumour.

Unfortunately, there seems to be no truth in the news, as the hashtag was later revealed to have been started by one over-zealous fan who was watching a One Direction documentary segment on popular Brazilian TV show Multishow.

One user later tweeted in Portuguese that the news was indeed a hoax, but by that stage the story had already gone viral:

This Friday marks One Direction's first show on this side of the world as a foursome, as they take to Cardiff's Millennium Stadium for two nights on June 5th and 6th. The lads will also play Dublin for three nights in October.

Much as we would love to see all five 1Ders back on stage together, for now it seems it's just a pipe dream.

Last weekend saw our little island make history by being the first country in the world to introduce marriage equality by a popular vote.

All eyes were on Ireland as we turned out in force to polling stations to cast our vote, many travelling from far and wide.

#HomeToVote began trending and the tales of people travelling – sometimes from far-flung countries in Africa and Asia – to ensure a 'yes' vote captured the hearts of people worldwide. 

The hashtag was used more than 72,000 times in just 24 hours and Twitter has decided to commemorate this by painting #HometoVote on the wall in their San Francisco HQ.

People shared heartwarming tweets as they made the journey home for May 22 and we are so proud that we managed to capture such widespread attention. 

One image which was shared numerous times on social media depicted hundreds of people slowly making their way through Dublin Airport as they arrived in the capital on the eve of the referendum.

Just after Louis claimed things were "all good in the hood" with Zayn, it appears the ex One Direction member's best friend Naughty Boy is trying to stir up trouble AGAIN.

The producer has made the decision to follow Eleanor Calder, Danielle Peazer and Gemma Styles on Twitter.

If these names mean nothing to you, they are the ex girlfriend Louis split from recently after five years, Liam's long-term ex girlfriend, and Harry Styles sister. 

We're guessing it's not just banter anymore then? 

None of them have followed him back or had any interaction with him yet (that we know of), but we're sure this will have the heartthrobs raging, especially Louis. 

A few days ago, Naughty boy said on Celebrity Juice:  "Talking about it is obviously not my problem, the problem is that something doesn't deserve the attention, someone like Louis is not in my radar of anything."

Yeah Naughty Boy, you really seem like you're not bothered about him…

We all know Katie Price has never been afraid to stand up for herself, and this recent Twitter rant has just proved it further.

The model has hit out at Jodie Marsh due to Jodie telling Zoo magazine that Katie is "the one whos famous for having loads of different kids with different dads."

Of course, Katie didn't let her get away with it and has spoke out on Twitter in a VERY lengthy message.

She began by saying: "Jodie gone quiet, digging my name up for a headline! For someone who used to say, 'I'm natural', followed me having boob jobs (vile ones), now wanting them out like me! Your nose done (like a builder's elbow!) not like mine!"

"You joke who is she? Oh yeah, she's the one with kids and different dads! Don't knock mothers like me. There's lots of us! Didn't you go out with my ex's names written over your body marking them out of ten after you shagged them (classy.)," she said.

She continued: "Well you have shagged nearly all my leftovers and not one of them wanted you (gutted) and you're celibate because no man actually wants you unless… what did u quote before… you're looking to pay for sex yuk! I don't know any celebrity or man who finds you attractive. You're the most vile thing I've ever seen. You're no model. Just look like a man in drag, maybe you and Alex Reid would suit!"

"Wind your beak in and get back in your box. You'll never be me but keep trying," Katie concluded.

Jessie J has taken the big move of unfollowing half of the people she was following on Twitter, and her fans are not happy.

She is now only following 400 accounts, and many of her fans have been unfollowed and left outraged.

She is planning on unfollowing even more accounts after the first unfollow spree, and many of her unimpressed fans are tweeting their thoughts on the matter.

They believe that her fans are the people that have gotten her where she is and it is unfair to brush them off at the height of her fame. 

Jessie J seems unaffected by their feelings towards the decision and has responded with a series of tweets herself. 

She wrote: “I find it insane that some people take being unfollowed like a personal attack. If I punched you in the face fair enough. But I didn’t… Meh.” This tweet has since been deleted.

She has been putting up other tweets since.

In a very stylish throwback to the ‘90s, Miriam O’Callaghan hosted Prime Time wearing a choker on Tuesday night and Ireland is having a very hard time dealing with it…

Speaking about her love of the choker and confirming that she, in fact, hasn't started working at Urban Outfitters, Miriam told The Independent: “The reaction has been hilarious. I love choker and always did so I am delighted they are all back in fashion … I got a hugely positive reaction to it so happy days. I will wear another one tonight.”

That’s all well and good Miriam, but any chance you can bring back hair swirls too? Pretty please?
