British designer, Jenny Packham has spoken about what it’s like to dress the Duchess of Cambridge and what influences the royal’s choices.

Packham says she usually finds out that Kate Middleton is wearing one of her famous designs when her Twitter feed goes crazy.

“You kind of always know where it’s going to be worn. Sometimes when we dress celebrities, there are always loads of Twitters and things like that when I wake up. I think, ‘Oh right, she wore it.’”

However, Jenny revealed that she does work directly with Kate on her outfits and said the Duchess has a great sense of style: “It’s always quite a collaboration.”

The Duchess recently wore a Packham dress to a state dinner while on her royal tour in New Zealand. Kate wore a long-sleeved black dress with some leaf detail by the designer.

Jenny says she was delighted to see Kate wear her dress during the New Zealand tour: “I was very excited and it was such a lovely moment to involve in. It was quite surreal, actually.”

Demi Lovato is always vocal when it comes to her Twitter account. But the singer showed a mature response, when she was sent a hateful message on Twitter.

The 21-year-old decided to take to the social media account, after she received a tweet calling the singer, “fatty”.

“Dear Haters you don’t have to like me cause I love you. Everyone’s equal, everyone has a soul and everyone deserves to be loved.”

Lovato went onto to encourage her fans to do same, when it comes to online trolls.

“Dear Lovatics for every hater tweet – don’t respond with hate but love and positivity.. Try love instead of combat.”

Of course, the Skyscraper singer practised what she preached and went onto to tweet “you are beautiful” to the tweeter.

Well, that is one way of putting down an online hater.

It is hard to admit, but a lot of us cannot bear to be without our phones. Some might say your phone is a replacement for that best friend, boyfriend or girlfriend. Whatever it may be there is no denying that you get anxious and angry without it. Here are 13 signs your phone is the best friend you’ll ever have.

1. It is the first thing you check in the morning
From the second you wake up, five apps will be on repeat in your head: ‘Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat.” You will amuse yourself for the next hour or so catching up with all you missed the 8 hours you were sleeping.

2. You freak out daily when you can’t find it
If there is ever a moment you can’t find your phone, you freak out. “Whereeee is itt???.” “Mum ring my phone PLEASE.” Even though you know it’s somewhere in the house, and you are most likely sitting on it, you are terrified for those few minutes.

3. It surprises you more and more each day

Feeling down? Not in the best form? Not to worry, a quick game of Candy Crush and Angry Birds will solve all your problems.

7. You panic when it is low on battery
You will go to the ends of the earth to find a charger. You will even go buy one if you are too far from your house to retrieve it. You simply cannot live without it and you will never have to.

8. You cry more when you lose your phone than when you fail an exam
Losing your phone is the worst possible thing that could happen to you. It makes you anxious, sad and numb to just think about it. Yes, it is dramatic but this is how we feel. Not to worry as it is insured but the week of waiting could kill you.

9. You can take selfies
You love a good selfie and your phone’s front camera helps you do that. You can take 1,000 photos and it won’t say a word. In fact, it enjoys you taking them and even lets you edit them.

10. It doesn’t judge you
You can do whatever you want and it will never judge you. It will always be there for you through thick and thin. It never lets you down and it never tells you what to do.

11. It talks to you but only when you want it to
If you’re ever in doubt, no worries because Siri is there. Siri will tell you what the weather will be like, where the nearest McDonalds is and when you have your doctors appointment. And when you don’t want to speak anymore, you simply say goodbye and no feelings are hurt.

12. It let’s you text whoever you want
There is no jealousy here. You can text 100 people at once and no judgement or arguments. They want you to explore life. That’s why you have Tinder.

13. You can erase memories
If you drunk-text that guy for the 15th time or need to erase an ex’s photos, you can. Once the message is deleted no one will see it. It is free therapy and “if it’s not there no one has seen it.”

A recent study carried out by journal, Cyberpsychology, Behavior and Social Networking, found that couples who use Twitter a lot tend to fight more.

The study was carried out by asking people in a relationship how much time they spend on Twitter and if they have ever emotionally cheated using the social media medium.

It was found that long-term and short-term couples are equally affected by their use of Twitter unlike Facebook which doesn’t impact long-term relationships as much.

The research was carried out on 581 Twitter users in a relationship who were asked how often they use Twitter as well as questions regarding their relationship.

Hmm, looks like you may want to stick with Facebook if you are in your relationship for the long haul!

Jessie J has had to defend herself after coming under fire for declaring that her bisexuality was a ‘phase’.

The pop star had said she had dated boys and girls in the past, but in an interview this week, Jessie revealed that she no longer identifies herself as bisexual.

The former The Voice coach said, “For me, [bisexuality] was a phase. But I’m not saying bisexuality is a phase for everybody.”

However, last night, the 26-year-old singer took to Twitter to face up to the backlash over her comments.

“The hate on my TL is uncalled for and ridiculous,” said Jessie. “I apologise to anyone who is offended by me calling dating girls a ‘phase’ but I have to be honest with me for me. And for me it was. What else do I call it if I no longer have a want for it anymore? I’m talking for me remember. Not you.”

She added, “I didn’t generalise, I didn’t say bisexuality isn’t real. It is for some and some people grow up dating both men and woman forever. And that’s ok. And some don’t. Simple. And I don’t have any reason to lie?”

Jessie didn’t go into detail about the messages she had received, but implied that some abuse suggested she only identified herself as bisexual in order to get ahead in the music industry.

“I won’t stand down and be made to feel like I have killed someone or said something that deserves the messages I am currently receiving,” she added. “I did and still do stand for love who you love, whichever gender that is. And I will continue to stand for it and just not act on it because I don’t want to. It isn’t who I am.”

Countless celebrities have expressed their sadness at the loss of Peaches Geldof, who was found dead at her home yesterday afternoon.

Pop star Lily Allen was one of the first to offer her condolences to the family of the mum-of-two saying, “My thoughts are with the Geldof’s at this awful time. I hope they get to grieve in peace. Peaches, rest in peace gorgeous girl.”

Daisy Lowe, a close friend of both Peaches and her younger sister Pixie, was left speechless at the news and simply posted an emoticon of a broken heart on her Twitter page.

Kelly Osbourne, a good friend of Peaches and Pixie wrote, “Words seem inadequate 2 express the sadness I feel about @peaches_g death We are here 2 support U @pixiegeldof1 stay strong my little Pepsi!”

Former N-Dubz singer Dappy has taken his love for Twitter to another level by getting a hashtag tattoo on his face.

The 26-year-old former singer shared a selfie showing the famous symbol inked next to his right eye, writing, “By the way, the reason I got a # Tatted on my FACE was simply 2 make sure IT stays trending 4 ever.”

But the star may come to regret his choice of design as the symbol could become obsolete within a year.

Twitter bosses revealed last month that they intend on scrapping the sign, in plans to move ‘the scaffolding of Twitter into the background’.

Twitter users were quick to poke fun at the tattoo, with one user saying, “OMG, someone please tell me Dappy’s hashtag tattoo is a joke. I can’t cope.”

Pop star Lee Ryan should maybe take a little break from Twitter after he was made to get rid of a rant he had posted on the site.

The Blue singer recently went on a pretty baffling outburst about how ‘abusive’ and ‘lost’ the human race was.

Speaking today, Lee said he had deleted the post as he wasn’t “allowed to say anything” before unleashing his (we assume) sarcastic side saying, “Anyway isn’t it a lovely day and I love my children and oh please save the animals.”

Lee’s fans took to Twitter straight away to show their support with one saying, “It’s your Twitter so you can say what you want! Don’t let that sh*t people talk get to you!”

The singer has been embroiled in a very messy war of words with his ex-fling Jasmine Waltz who he shared a bed and a bathtub with in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Jasmine accused the singer of cheating on her with a man, which the pop star labelled “absurd”.

When it comes to her kids, it seems Sarah Jessica Parker is like any mum – don’t dare mess with her!

The Sex and the City star hit back at a Twitter user for making “vulgar” remarks about her children.

The 49-year-old actress is mum to 11-year-old James and four-year-old twins Marion and Tabitha with actor Matthew Broderick.

The star fired off a flurry of replies to self-described “relationship expert” Sarah J. Symonds who identifies herself as an “infidelity analyst” and “founder of Mistresses Anonymous and Wife School”.

Unfortunately, no one seems to have record of what rubbed the actress up the wrong way since Symonds deleted the post instantly.

But we know that SJP tweeted, “Your anonymity doesn’t diminish your outrageous and vulgar tweet. And your deletion only reveals your cowardice.”

The actress then added, “I’m certain there isn’t a woman on this planet who would support your specific kind of cruelty.”

When pressed on the incident later, the celebrity declined to repeat what Symonds said, but wrote, “Suffice to say, it was disgusting.”
