At just five-years-old, we doubt Harper Beckham has any plans to start a business empire anytime soon.

However, that hasn’t stopped her career-savvy mother, Victoria, from planning for the future.

It’s been reported that the former Spice Girl has registered her daughter’s name as an official trademark for use in branded products including make-up, clothing and toys.

The trademark was also registered for use in the entertainment industry should Harper wish to follow in the footsteps of her famous mother and pursue a career in music or film.

Harper’s middle name, Seven, did not appear on the application to the UK’s Intellectual Property Office.

Apparently the Beckhams chose the unusual name as a nod to the jersey worn by David for the Manchester United and England football squads. It’s also meant to symbolise spiritual perfection and the Seven Wonders of the World.

Harper isn’t the first Beckham child to capitalise on the brand. Older brothers, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz have all had their names trademarked in recent years.

A wise move considering the boys are all embarking on promising careers in the modelling and music industries. 

Brooklyn signed to an agency in 2015 while Romeo fronted Burberry’s Christmas campaign in the year before. 

Following in the Victoria's footsteps, Cruz launched a music career with the release of a charity Christmas single.
