Apparently, Love Island star and newly crowned villa villain Michael Griffiths has EVENTUALLY confessed that he still has feelings for Amber Gill.

This random U-turn is pretty chaldish to us, not to mention manipulative. The lad dumped her savagely for Joanna Chimonides after bitching about Amber behind her back, treated her like dirt, blamed her for Joanna leaving and made her cry.

Why is he choosing now to admit he was wrong? Ever since he made his decision to stay in the villa, there have been rumours flying that he couldn't let his ex-flame Amber go.

In tonight's show, Michael finally admits he still likes Amber during a chat with a stunned Curtis, Ovie and Jordan. Ovie called Michael out for telling Amber to "sit down" rudely the other night, because he's a KING.

He says: "Now Joanna's gone I've had time to think about things and I do actually like Amber."

The change of heart comes just days after Joanna's exit, where she called him (rightfully so) a 'snake'. Perhaps he's jealous now that Amber has a hot date with Limerick lad Greg?

Michael replies: "I didn't want to hurt you, I take out all my frustrations on you. I didn't mean to hurt you." He never explained WHY he took his frustrations out on her, though. Suspish.

Michael is later seen pulling Amber for a chat, telling her he got jealous seeing her spending time with the new boy. It remains to be seen whether the 21-year-old beautician gives him another chance.

The pair had a tearful chat in last night's show, with Amber saying to him: "I really have got over the whole situation. I did feel sorry for you after the whole thing and I decided to be civil and nice."

We all remember poor Amber's face when she returned from Casa Amor without a new boy to discover that Michael has recoupled, and had plenty of rude things to say about her.

More recently, she confessed that she still has feelings for the 27-year-old, Lord know how, and he rejected her twice more. Will she take him back? We certainly hope not.

Amber Gill has had a pretty wild ride on Love Island, to say the least.

From Michael Griffiths' betrayal and then disgraceful behaviour towards her and now living in the friend zone, romance has evaded the beautician from Newcastle.

While many fans are adoring her friendship with singleton Ovie Soko, the 21-year-old is set to flirt up a storm on her date tonight with Limerick lad Greg O'Shea.

Michael had recoupled after Casa Amor with Joanna Chimonides, who has since been dumped from the island and walked away without Michael in tow.

Viewers have been extremely protective of Amber ever since this devastating blow was dealt, especially after the firefighter became the villa villain and seemingly takes out all of his frustrations on his ex-flame.

New boy Greg O'Shea awaits her in the Hideaway tonight, after Amber receives a text saying; "Don’t worry Amber. The boys aren’t having all the fun. Greg is waiting for you on the Hideaway terrace. #guarddown #openminded”

The Irish professional rugby player is seeking a loyal and honest girl who he can totally commit to. Before entering the villa, he said;

"I'm searching for a girl who is confident in herself, not cocky but she knows her worth. I want a girl who backs herself and someone who lives a positive lifestyle."

Based on tonight's teaser, Amber lets her guard down and enjoys the date with Limerick's newest Love Island star. Michael, who?

Greg also describes himself as a "one girl kind of guy", and seems serious about searching for wifey material;

“If I see a girl I tend to fall for her hard. Hopefully, that can happen again. After my last relationship I lost my faith in love so hopefully going into the villa can get my belief in love back," he added.

“I’ve only been single for the last year. I was with a girl for four years before that and in a relationship for five years before that. I’ve always been in relationships.”

Go get our girl Amber, and prove you're worthy Greg. Do your nation proud.

Tonight's Love Island looks set to be one of the most explosive episodes yet, with Limerick lad Greg O'Shea requesting a date with Amber, and Chris and Ovie heading on dates with the two new girls of the villa.

India Reynolds and Harley Brash are the newbies who have their sights set on Ovie and Chris, but will other eyes wander towards them?

The Hideaway also opens it's doors for Anna Vakili and Jordan Hames tonight for the steamiest visit yet (though there have only been three).

Jordan blindfolds Anna and performs a striptease for her, as things get heated in the hot tub and bedroom.

The pair are chosen after Molly-Mae receives a text reading;

“Islanders. The Hideaway is open tonight, please choose a lucky couple to spend the night alone. #getaroom #notsosilentnight”.

The contestants decide that it's time for Jordanna to get some time alone following their brief Casa Amor split.

Michael then comes up with an X-rated suggestion for Jordan, telling him to surprise Anna with a sexy dance in private.

The couple return to the villa the next day and fill in their pals on the action, with Anna saying in the Beach Hut;

“It was everything in one. It was romantic. It was funny. It was sexy. I wouldn’t mind having every night in the Hideaway!” Will they reveal more deets? Probably not, let's be honest.

The disbelief we felt last night after witnessing Michael treat our good sis Amber like a dog was shook-worthy.

We honestly wouldn't speak to an animal the way that he spoke to his ex-flame, who has done absolutely nothing wrong, and the public are in agreement that the firefighter has gone up in flames.

Last night's episode saw Joanna Chimonides being dumped from the island, Michael proclaiming that he'd; "found what I've been looking for" and then proceeding to STAY in the villa for no reason, and then his dire treatment of Amber.

 Michael gave 21-year-old Amber vicious statements about how her feelings for him weren't reciprocated, as if he blamed her for Joanna's exit.

Joanna branded the 27-year-old a "snake" as she walked out of the villa, and she's pretty spot on. If he really cared about her, he would have left. He then tried to get sympathy by acting upset about her dumping, and yet DIDN'T LEAVE THE VILLA?

The reaction from the public when Michael barked at Amber to "sit down" was pretty swift, calling for his removal from the Spanish villa.

Joanna also said that her relationship with Michael is "on pause" now that he's staying in the villa, after initially saying they have no future if he refused to leave with her.

One Twitter user, Fionnuala Jay, called for Michael to be sent to prison…we have to agree;

"One way ticket for Michael to Alcatraz for speaking to Amber like that, what an actual bridge troll."

Team Amber assembled faster than lightning, and are patiently waiting for her to explode at the man;

Viewers also pointed out that Michael appears to only be staying in the villa to make Amber's life miserable;

"Who's really the CHALDISH one?" fans asked of Michael. Fair point.

When Joanna was voted out by her fellow Islanders and was immediately angry at Michael, the firefighter excused her outburst as "normal" and yet continuously slammed Amber for being "childish" and "immature" whenever she was remotely angry.

One thing is for certain: Michael may just be the most hated man in the UK and Ireland right now, and only Ovie has the power to fix the villa zen.

Maybe the new Limerick rugby player Greg O'Shea can fix the vibes with some country slang and banter with Maura? We'd love to see it.

An absolutely STUNNING vegan chef is set to enter the Love Island tonight as a surprise arrival, and we're not feeling so great while we scroll through her Instagram.

India Reynolds is a 28-year-old vegan chef and Page 3 model who is set to set pulses racing as she replaces one Islander in tonight's episode.

The brunette beauty only has a few weeks left to make an impression until the end of the series. Either Joanna Chimonides or Michael Griffiths will be kicked out after being voted in the bottom two couples.

Ex-Islander Amy Hart has opened up about being forced to seek psychological help 12 times during her stint on Love Island following her break-up with Curtis Pritchard.

The air hostess walked out of the villa voluntarily last week and had to leave at least once to get help as she was in such an emotional distress.

She has now opened up about her heartbreak while on Love Island: Aftersun, revealing that she had to make use of the show's therapist on a dozen different occasions.

"I had therapy 12 times in the villa – but I've come out stronger," she told OK! magazine. "I deserve a man who loves me for who I am."

Amy had never had a boyfriend before meeting Curtis, and was destroyed following his decision to end things with her.

The shock move came after his head was turned by Jourdan Riane while Amy went to Casa Amor. Curtis also told her that he couldn't see a future with her on the outside, or marriage and kids.

The professional dancer decided to be brutally honest with the blonde bombshell, who sobbed in the Beach Hut and proclaimed that she couldn't stay and watch him crack on with other women.

Strictly Come Dancing professional and Curtis' brother AJ has claimed that Amy DM'ed him while speaking on talkRADIO.

"She spoke to me. She sent me a message actually afterwards and said she feels like she knows the family and she could only praise Curtis about being honest," he said.

AJ admitted that his brother was too ruthless while speaking to Amy about his feelings;

"Sometimes he was maybe a bit too brutally honest. He could have let her down a bit softer rather than saying, 'yes, I don't see myself marrying you and having kids with you'. "That was harsh, I'm not lying, it was harsh."

AJ and Curtis' mum Debi has also said that she'd like to meet the woman who had her heart broken by her son; "I would like to meet Amy. My heartache is there for Amy and for the parents," she said.

She continued; "When I watched the moment when Curtis told her how he felt, I couldn't stop crying because of all the emotion. I wanted to reach out and give Amy a hug.

"I was thinking of Amy’s mum a lot and I'm so happy Amy is with her family unit now because I know she will be fine and her and Curtis will be friends," she added,

Amy has a new look and seems better than ever, thank the Lord. She's 100 percent stronger after the experience, and we're proud that she speaks so openly about mental health.

If we’ve learned anything from the last few years, it’s that representation matters.

Big issues like the representation of different skin tones, body sizes and disabilities are fought for on the reg by various strong-ass women and require real change in the minds of the powers that be.

However, calling the media out on a lack of inclusion is only one way to change things. Love Island in particular have been receiving flack for their lack of inclusion on the show, predominantly with body sizing.

Image: ITV

Applauding small changes is another. Once these powers realise that we WANT to see ourselves and our peers represented, things will change.

Even this year, campaigns like Dove's stunning #ShowUs effort have been proving to the media industry that the public want to see every type of person in advertisements and on our screens.

From all gender binaries, sexual orientations, ethnicities, abilities and sizes to vitiligo to scarring; Why should only one type of person be represented on screen when perfection is a myth?

When flawlessness and perfection no longer sell, when ‘one size fits all’ doesn’t appeal to the masses; that’s when media organisations, beauty companies and the entertainment industry begin to change their tune.

On the topic of applauding small steps, the last two episodes of Love Island have sparked praise in one particular area: skin.

Every single human being has experienced bad skin at one point in their lives. Some of us suffered through teenage acne and have the scars to prove it. Many have had to deal with life-altering skin related issues from complex conditions to unfortunate accidents. Skin is at the centre of beauty campaigns and we are bombarded with an image of what perfectly clear skin ‘should’ look like, err single day.

The cute and bubbly new contestant on the ITV reality show, Francesca Allen, has received some appreciative feedback for choosing to allow her skin to breathe free. She has visible spots and we are SO ready for them. This was also true for Lucie when she took her makeup off each night and revealed 'normal' skin. Maura is over there representing all pale Irish beauties whose faces don't match their necks after a night out.

Image: Twitter/@pepsicolapop

There should never be a strict definition of what constitutes 'normal' skin. 'Normal' to us is what we're shown the most, which is perfection.

However, in reality there are millions of skin disorders and types in the world that don't get shown on screens globally. Our skin is a vital organ, and it's unique to each person.

Image: Twitter/@imaginebane

One Love Island viewer tweeted she was; "nearly crying at the fact Francesca has acne scarring". Another got emotional stating it was "refreshing" for someone who struggles with their skin every day "to see an amazingly beautiful girl like Francesca show off her bare face and acne to the world without shame". These are real people, lets remember. Real people who are thankful to see something familiar on the small screen.

Image: Twitter/@micckjaggerr

Though each islander is stunningly beautiful in their own ways, imperfections show their humanity. Just because they're on a screen doesn't mean they aren't just like us. That the kids watching them – and yes there are kids as young as 12 waiting up for the series each night- can see that skin imperfections can be gorgeous and above all, normal.

Considering Francesca's skin is still by advertising and media standards damn near perfect, it says a lot that the response to even a few minor scars has been incredibly positive and emotional.

A teeny tiny step, y’all say, but if we don’t applaud the tiny steps; the larger ones will be further out of reach. Celebrate the minor achievements and aim higher.

Now… Crack on with some stretch marks, dermatological disorders and cellulite please, ITV. We want to feel seen.

Cormac has definitely got his eyes set on the €88,000 prize money, which is far more than the UK winners' amount. The format is generally the same as the UK counterpart, only much less risqué.

Love Island USA is broadcast on CBS to millions of viewers, and the show will run until August 7. Irish viewers can catch it on Virgin Media Two and ITVBe in the UK.

Maura Higgins, Duchess of County Longford, shares her first kiss with Curtis Pritchard in tonight's episode of Love Island only hours after Amy Hart quit the show.

Curtis' 'half-girlfriend' Amy exited the villa of her own accord after an emotional farewell, still heartbroken at the end of her relationship with the professional dancer.

Maura has confessed her feelings to Curtis already, who told her he couldn't make any moves with Amy still feeling the pain of their break-up.

The Islanders are set a dance challenge tonight in order to get each others' hearts racing, and Maura makes sure she's got all the attention to see through her plan.

"I've got a bit of a plan up my sleeve. I just can't wait to get to Curtis," she admits in the Beach Hut. The contestants are each strapped up to heart monitors and are split into boys and girls.

The girls have to dance individually first, and Maura grabs Curtis for a kiss while the whole villa watches on. We LOVE the ridiculousness of this woman, but feel for Amy too.

Curtis is left without words after her confident display, and we'd say his heartrate skyrocketed. She's some woman, we'll give her that. The boys must then impress the girls with their sexy moves.

Seeing as Curtis is a professional dancer, he brings the heat to his routine and returns Maura's kiss after picking her up to sweep her off her feet.

We can FEEL how delighted those producers are. Earlier, Maura and Curtis were chosen by Chris and Francesca to go on a double date, but Maura was pretty distracted.

Maura flirts with Chris, but spends most of the date trying to see what Curtis and the new girl are up to.

"The poor lad is going to be talking to me and I'm just going to be earwigging. I want to hear the way Curtis is behaving!" she tells the Beach Hut camera about her date with Chris.

We can't see Curtis waiting to crack on with Maura, his respect for Amy wasn't exactly sky high when his head was turned by Jourdan after about 30 seconds. *Shade*

Curtis Pritchard has caused his fair share of chaos in the Love Island villa since Amy departed for Casa Amor, and he's not exactly earning many fans either.

He admitted to his 'half-girlfriend' Amy Hart that he was "lying to himself" about their relationship, and that he actually wanted to recouple with new girl Jourdan while Amy was staying loyal at Casa Amor.

Twitter were firmly Team Amy, who was absolutely broken-hearted to hear that her first love didn't feel the same way, and that she was "second best once again".

Curtis' famous brother AJ Pritchard has now had his say in the whole debacle, disagreeing with the rest of the Love Island boys' advice to avoid Amy for the day.

AJ wrote on Twitter: "Don’t give Amy space bro." Molly-Mae sat Curtis down last night and begged him to give her some space to process the difficult news, and Maura encouraged her to end things.

The other girls are blocking Amy from talking to him," he explains. "My advice was just talk to Amy."

AJ also mentioned his disbelief at Curtis' alleged 'cheating': "It’s been portrayed that he’s kind of cheated on her, whereas realistically, yes he kissed another girl, but that was in a task."

Celebrities such as Stacey Solomon even tweeted her support for the air hostess, writing:

The nation are bound to shed a few tears tonight as Amy reveals her broken heart over Curtis' Love Island betrayal.

The stewardess is left feeling "like utter sh*te" following the discovery that Curtis wanted to choose Jourdan in the recoupling but was turned down.

She was planning on telling Curtis that she loves him after their reunion, but instead she found out she was his "back-up plan". We feel her pain.

Amy is seen bawling her eyes out in The Beach Hut, sobbing as she tells the camera: "I thought I'd met my first love and The One. But it turns out I haven't. I'm someone's back-up plan yet again."

While she was in Casa Amor remaining loyal, Curtis was busy stabbing her in the back, choosing to kiss Jourdan in two challenges and telling her his head was turned, despite her lack of interest.

In an explosive showdown tonight, the professional dancer tells Amy:

"I'm going to be completely truthful to you about everything.I pulled one of the girls for a chat and told her if recoupling was in half an hour I'd couple up with her."

"She said no, basically. I didn't want to touch you because I f***ed up, like really bad."

Amy replied: "So, she said no and you said 'alright, I'll go back Amy. I fell in love with you and I get back to this. I never thought you would do this to me.

"You're the perfect man after all. Do you know how worthless this has made me feel? To know you didn't like me enough or respect me enough to be able to resist."

At least Curtis has the good grace in the Beach Hut to look slightly ashamed of himself, saying; "I messed up. I hurt her and have treated her very bad. I've been disrespectful."

YES. YOU HAVE. He's acted fake, there's no going around it, and Michael is now the most universally hated man in the UK after his brutal behind-the-back bitching and dumping of Amber.

The family and friends of Love Island's Amy Hart and Amber Gill have absolutely slammed Curtis and Michael over social media, and we have to say…GO OFF.

During last night's insanely dramatic episode of the ITV2 show, Amber was dumped by Michael in favour of new girl Joanna, and Curtis claimed his head was turned by Jourdan (who had zero interest).

The scenes shocked the entire nation, and their loved ones have been finding it difficult to watch their hearts being broken by boys who have completely led them on while they stayed loyal.

Amber Gill’s friend tweeted: “As one of Amber’s friends, that was hard for me to watch. It’s not nice to see your friend in pain and biting their tongue not knowing what to say.

“But it looks like tomorrow Amber and Anna are going to rip him a new a**hole, so it’s all good.”

The mate later sarcastically wrote:  “Wouldn’t trust Michael the firefighter to save me from a burning building… might change his mind halfway through, say I’m too young, and leave me there.”

Amy’s family were clearly finding it hard to watch too. They tweeted: “Oh Amy, girl.  YOU ARE  NO ONES  SECOND CHOICE!” Yes, girl.

After Jourdan carefully let Curtis know that she wasn't interested in him, Amy's Twitter wrote:  “What a shame that Curtis got pied.” It included a Beyoncé hair flip Gif, because of course.

In tonight's explosive episode, Curtis comes clean to Amy about his feelings for Jourdan, and she reveals that she was about to declare her love for him;

Amber was deeply shocked to find out that the man who had grafted LONG AND HARD to persuade her to couple up with him had actually ditched her for a brunette he's known three days.

The 21-year-old refused to get to know any of the new boys, despite Dan telling her she'd be the one he'd have wanted to get to know, and was horrofied at the idea of kissing anyone else.

The 28-year-old firefighter had other ideas, happily sharing a bed with Joanna and kissing her. Not to mention, talking smack about Amber to some random girl he barely knows, how's that classy?

Asked if he wanted to stay with Amber or choose Joanna, Michael said:

"The last few days have been quite interesting. They've opened my mind to a few things. So the past few days have given me a lot of time to reflect. I've come to the realisation that I've not been true to myself and I've overlooked certain situations that I wouldn't normally do.

"I've bitten my tongue when I wouldn't usually do so. Meeting this girl has brought the Michael that I know and everyone else knows back," he added, throwing shade at Amber FOR NO REASON.

Curtis also admitted that he'd taken a shine to new girl Jourdan, who is clearly into Danny and shared a bed with him. The dancer kissed her on two separate challenges, and admitted he fancied her.

Curtis said: "Amy and I we haven't had any test or bumps in the road and things were going fantastic until a few days ago.

"Basically a young girl walked into the villa and made me realise a lot of things … It made me realise I'd been lying to myself and most of all, to Amy. I just hope everything can be sorted out."

Tune in tonight to see sh*t hit the fan with Amy and Curtis, and Michael and…every single girl in the villa. He's going to need physical protection because he's the most hated man in the nation.
