Over the past few weeks you’ve probably been seeing an awful lot of people on social media brandishing their tiny tattoos. No, it’s not just that these people are really passionate about their grammar, although who isn’t these days?

Actually, the viral body art has a much deeper meaning. Most tattoos will have a story behind them, and for those who are part of the #semicolonproject, it’s more than just a punctuation symbol.

The tattoos are reflections of the individual’s struggles with mental health issues such as depression or addiction.

Project Semicolon was founded by Amy Bluel, who said "A semicolon is used when an author could've chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you and the sentence is your life."

Amy lost her father to suicide and told the Huffington Post one of the reasons why she set up the project:

“I set out to inspire others so they can know they are not alone, that their story matters.”

And she is:

The project has its own website which encourages people to post images of their tattoos and share their stories. Since the project’s beginning, huge numbers of social media users have gotten on board to spread their support and raise awareness through the viral hashtag.

These are just some of the images which have been spotted which are hoping to spread Amy’s inspirational message.

People are spreading Amy's message without getting inked themselves, some are using Sharpie's for their designs, and painting.

Babies, puppies, sloths… present us with anything remotely cute and we will instantly turn into a pile of mush. We definitely didn't expect this dad to be the same, though.

Philip's family had a Maltese for 15 years until he had to be put down, leaving his poor father heartbroken. One day, Philip and his mum went on a secret mission to find a new puppy for their family, returning with a gorgeous little furball.

"We had told my father that we were going food shopping and went off to where we had picked out our previous little puppy 15 years earlier," Philip explains in the video description.

After arriving home "from the grocery store", Philip's mum lured his dad out to the car under the pretence of unloading the shopping. His reaction to the surprise is the sweetest thing we've seen all week.

This video was first uploaded in 2013 but it has gone viral again over the last few days.

We can see why, because who doesn't need some vintage cuteness in their lives?

Think that love only gets complicated when you hit 18? Wrong.

Teenager Madi Nickens from Texas came upon some comedy gold yesterday when she found a series of texts on her younger sister's phone, written to a boy named Joey.

By the sounds of it, Joey has some serious explaining to do after he did the dirt on Madi's 11-year-old sis.

Natalie, that beeyatch.

"Just hangin"? Not buying that one, buddy.

Altogether now… DING DING DING!

We’re not sure about you, but the weather has never exactly been ‘must watch’ television in our houses.

In Mexico however, things have changed. Yanet Garcia has caused a stir online in recent times after she’s taken to delivering the weather forecast in an array of skin tight dresses.

Not content with providing the ‘hot’ weather on the Televisa Monterry newscasts, she also has her own YouTube page.

The Mexican beauty has gathered nearly 200,000 Instagram follwers and her Twitter account has also seen a spike in activity in recent times. She’s very good at her job.

So good in fact, that there are rumours the star may be making a huge international move with networks vying for her attention.

We do wonder if this might have been adding fuel to the fire for the recent unrest between our own dear Evelyn and Jean? Could RTÉ be one of the major international networks just dying to add Yanet to their team? Only time will tell.

In the meantime, the internet is content with watching, and re-watching, Yanet’s helpful YouTube videos. One which has gathered over 1 million views in just 6 days.

Fans from all over the world are taking to Twitter to tell Yanet just how much they enjoy her forcasts. Some have even compared her to Ariana Grande and Kim Kardashian.

Here at SHEmazing! we love a seriously cute puppy. The only thing that's better, in fact? Two seriously cute puppies.

So it's no surprise that when we spotted a video with two seriously cute golden retriever puppies – named Colby and Bleu – we were pretty ecstatic.

Filmed once a week over the course of 35 weeks, the blonde and brilliant duo's owner captured the canine pair racing to their food bowls.

The one-and-a-half minute long clip shows how quickly they grow from gorgeous, chubby furballs into equally gorgeous boisterous and bouncy dogs.

While it was only posted 48hours ago, it has now garnered more than 3million views. And the accompanying comments on YouTube have been hugely supportive.

"Possibly the greatest video in the history of the internet," said one, while another echoed those sentiments with: "This is one of the best videos I've seen in a while." A further user even noted their intellectual improvements over the course of the 35 weeks: "Not only do we get to see them grow but get smarter. Notice how they get better at that left-hand turn as time goes by."

So without further ado… sit back and enjoy the next minute-and-a-half.

Every guy has definitely been there: waiting ages for his other half to get ready as they say “just a minute” every half an hour.

Every girl has definitely been on the other side of it too, saying we will take “just a minute”, which most of the time means, “literally just started getting ready, I’ll be at least an hour”.

The comedy team behind the likes of Bloom In The Park and Every Student Election Video Ever have today released another parody that has us all in stitches.

The lads at Pop The Cherry Comedy have come up with a pretty genius sketch depicting a woman being awarded with the key to the city after only taking “one minute” in the bathroom… and we love it!

The comedy group will take to the stage in Whelan's on July 6 for a show that promises a lot of laughs. You can get tickets on the Whelan's website.

Cian Twomey is quickly taking over the world of social media with his vidoes and they are so funny we can’t even deal.

He stars as himself and his girlfriend Emily in these short videos which have gathered him a lot of popularity and attention, especially in the past few weeks.

His videos see him playing an over-exaggerated (well we hope so) version of his girlfriend Emily and we are sure some men out there can definitely relate.

Cian has become a viral sensation and has already coined his own catch phrase in the process. "Go f*** yourself" makes an appearance at the end of his videos and fans of the Cork comedian absolutely love it!

His Facebook page has recently been verified (the coveted blue tick) and he has gained hundreds of thousands of extra likes in the process.

As it stands he has 723k likes on Facebook and some of his videos are even reaching over one million views.

If you haven't already, do yourself a favour and watch his videos on his Facebook page. Immediately.

With his bulging biceps, perfect smile, dark skin and striking coloured tattoos, it's no surprise that Miguel Pimentel turns heads.

And what undoubtedly makes his appearance all the more eye-catching is his New York City Sheriff's uniform.

Now his Instagram account, which is full of semi-naked shots of Miguel as well as pictures of him at work in the Big Apple, is garnering serious attention.

Indeed, his fan-base is rapidly increasing as his images continue to go viral.

"Oh lord baby Jesus I think I might go shoot some one just to get arrested by you!!" said one, playfully. "I've been a really bad bad girl come please use those handcuffs on me," said another.

Others were more direct: "Oh my word," and "OMG arrest me officer," were just two of the remarks made under some of Miguel's photos.

It's no surprise that the law-enforcement officer is an avid fan of working-out – and many of his posts also show him at the gym, or posing up with his muscles flexed to perfection. There are further images of him competing at body-building competitions.

Miguel, 32, originally hails from the Dominican Republic; he has two sisters, and remains close to his parents. However, sadly for his many female fans, he also appears to be attached – namely to 27-year-old Miami-native, Erika.

Erika, whom her beau often refers to as his "wifey," is also a body-builder and her impressive physique is regularly displayed to full-effect on Miguel's Instagram account, as well as on her own profile.

Created for the Argentina Foundation For Liver Transplants, a moving one-and-a-half minute long video clip has now gone viral, notching up more than 2.5m views in just five days.

It depicts an older man and his loyal, canine companion who never leaves his side.

And when his owner is rushed to hospital, the hound dutifully follows, waiting for days outside as dozens of patients, visitors, and medical staff come and go.

He only responds when a young woman is wheeled out – evidently having benefited from an organ transplant: the dog's elderly master may be dead, but he lives on because of his commitment to organ donation.

Twitter was quick to respond, with one user stating: "I just watched this again. Can't deal – Rip your own heart out watching this loyal dog in this organ donation ad."

Another said: Heartbreaking organ donation ad shows that a dog's loyalty Never ends." A third stated simply: "A different take on promoting organ donation. Beautiful ad."

In Ireland, you can request an organ donation card here.

Waking up without your phone has to be one of the worst causes of Sunday Fear.

Luckily Irish lad Dara Munnis was able to retrace his steps to a Chinese restaurant in Dublin to retrieve the phone he'd lost over the weekend.

To make the outcome even sweeter, Dara was left with an epic video message from the two Welsh girls who'd come upon his phone and handed it in "at reception."

This video is currently doing the rounds on Reddit – you have to watch it for the brilliant Welsh accents accents alone. And the eyebrows too, of course…
