Virgin Media 2

We all had plenty of respect for ex-Love Island contestant Yewande Biala, especially when she told Danny Williams (remember the travel agent?); "What goes around come around."

As it turns out, her only regret from her time in the villa was not having the chance to couple up with Ovie Soko, who would have been PERFECT for her with his chill vibes and respect for women.

Ovie arrived during the Casa Amor part of the series, which Yewande just missed out on after being eliminated.

Danny Williams stupidly chose to dump the scientist in favour of newcomer Arabella Chi, and the Dubliner said that they should have brought Ovie in sooner for her.

"Where was Ovie when I was crying in the beach hut saying 'no one likes me,'" Yewande told RTÉ Entertainment.

"That would've been the perfect time to be like, 'Ok we're going to send Ovie in as the bombshell'." He's 100 percent bombshell material, we'll give her that. Yewande also makes a very good point.

She's a firm believer in the idea that "everything happens for a reason", but she admits that she'd have coupled up with Ovie if she had been given the opportunity.

"I'm a real firm believer that everything happens for a reason so I feel that if you did change something, I wouldn't have the outcome – it could be worse, it could be better, I don't know – so I think I'd just leave it as it is," she explained.

"I had an amazing experience, I laughed, I cried, it was great."

Ovie is currently in a friendship couple with Amber Gill, but Yewande is convinced that Amber is, "still too hurt from Michael and I don't think anyone's really going to work romantically, I don't think she's ready for anything romantically in that villa."

What about Irish hunk Greg? We saw sparks when the rugby player and future solicitor met her for a date in the Hideaway. Michael rudely interrupted the pair last night to ask Amber for a chat, the devil.

Yewande expressed her shock at Michael's toxic behaviour towards Amber since their split and Casa Amor recoupling with Joanna Chimonides.

"It's shocking how he's treated her from that, because that's not the Michael that I know," she said.

"I really want to be like, 'What are you doing? Can you just explain your thought process.' I just don't understand what's happened. It's just really unfortunate because I really wanted them to win and I thought if they stayed together they were really strong and they possibly could've won."

We desperately hope Amber calls him a 'dead ting' and walks away, because if she goes back to that horrible man it sets an awful example. You wouldn't treat your pet pooch the way Michael treated her.

Yewande also opened up about life in the Love Island villa; “We’ve no concept of time.

“There was a time where Joe (Garratt) found out that you could check the time on the cooker and then they changed it so we’ve no concept of time whatsoever. We always guestimated when the sun came out.”

The contestants are filmed 24 hours a day, and are told to dress up every evening to create a party vibe in the house. They must wait until producers confirm that their filming commitments are over before they go to bed.

The Islanders are also gifted with sponsored wardrobes to wear for the duration of their stay and they avail of the laundry service once a week (but don't do any of the housework).

Yewande urged viewers to be aware that the footage they see doesn’t always portray reality, seeing as it's just an hour of television per day.

She told Virgin Media Television’s Ireland AM: “You are only seeing an hour of what went on in 24 or 48 hours so it’s really hard to judge a person’s personality by just watching an hour.”

Yewande admits she’s also sceptical about Maura and Curtis' relationship;

“I just don’t know. When I was in there I didn’t really see it, but I’ve been out of there a while and I know that everything moves really quickly in there.”

She reckons Maura’s head could be turned by newcomer Greg O’Shea, a professional rugby player from Limerick who went on a date with Amber.

Yewande who reckons lovebirds Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, who are in a relationship, are “smitten”.

However, she warned : “At the end of the day it is a game and not everyone is genuine.”

But while she may have left without a boyfriend, Yewande insists that;

 “It’s a great way to find love, not even just romantic love. It’s a great way to learn about yourself as a person. It’s also great to find an amazing group of friends.”

Amy Hart has revealed that the Love Island producers forced her to eat following her break-up with Curtis Pritchard.

The air hostess quit the show earlier in the week after her devastating split from the professional dancer, whose head was turned by Jourdan when Amy left for Casa Amor.

She announced to her fellow Islanders on Tuesday night that she'd be leaving the villa, after sitting Curtis down to explain that they both needed to move on separately.

The brutal dumping took a serious toll on Amy, and she even lost six pounds in weight from the difficulty of the situation.

After arriving home, she's spoken out about the extent of her distress, saying the bosses noticed her weight loss and told her to eat.

The 26-year-old told The Sun : "I felt so numb. I didn’t feel hungry. When I wouldn’t eat, they would stand over me and make me eat a bowl of food or I couldn’t do the challenges."

Amy emphasised that she left the show for the sake of her mental health, and decided to retain her "sanity" over remaining in the villa. Good choice, gal.

She said: "I was in a very horrible place over the last week, to be told that the gloves were off with Maura and I had to ‘brace myself’, like a storm. I knew I had to leave when I did."

She admitted that she'd be "kidding herself" if she thought she could cope with watching Curtis and Maura cracking on. The beauty was "grieving" the loss of Curtis and it was too hard to stay in the villa.

Love Island fans simply couldn't hold it together after Maura Higgins made a dramatic entrance into the villa, and laid all over her cards on the table.

The County Longford model and 'grid girl' was hailed a 'bad b*tch' on her arrival as she sparked arguments between Molly Mae and Tommy Fury.

The villa's other ladies made sure to heckle her during her dates with Tommy Fury, and Michael Griffiths, but Maura gave as good as she got and even fed Michael from her fork. *GASP*

Maura's interest in Tommy caused quite the blow up between himself and Molly Mae, but her flirtatious banter with him was a ballsy move and fans are loving it.

The midlands girl attempted successfully to turn Tommy's head, after borrowing a jacket from Molly Mae, who later exploded at Tommy in a rage. We had to laugh…

Fans were soaking up the drama, with one Twitter user saying: "Takes a proper Irish girl 30 seconds in the villa to get the buzz going. And now the real show begins. Maura Higgins I love you."

The memes were in flying form;

The UK couldn't quite handle Maura's filthy mouth, but she knows how to play the damn game and we HAVE to stan:

Her declarations of "the things I'd do to that man", and "I wish he was eating me" had the general public pure shooketh:

News also emerged that Maura was once ENGAGED, which is some serious tea:

Eagle-eyed fans spotted it on her old Depop account, but she's a single woman now so things must have turned sour. It is what it is, gals.

We can't wait to see what ridiculousness goes down later tonight, tune in at 9pm on Virgin Media 2.

We've all been left totally in the dark about Sherif Lanre's strange Love Island exit, with conspiracy theories and faked texts coming in left, right and centre.

The 20-year-old allegedly broke the villa rules, but the exact reason has yet to be explained.

Both Sherif and ITV released statements yesterday, saying;  "After breaking the villa rules, Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa."

Sherif himself said: "In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers that it was best for me to leave the villa."

"I regret that I didn't conduct myself in the right way and, as a 20 year old guy, it's something I know I will take on board and learn from. I really enjoyed my time in the villa and look forward to catching up with everyone on the outside."

However, the young chef and semi-pro rugby player has now broken his Instagram silence after leaving the ITV2 show.

Instagram: @sherif_lanre

In a statement on his Instagram Story, he wrote: "Thank you to everyone including my friends and family for the support I've come back to.

"I appreciate you all and hope I provided some good positive moments during my time on Love Island and for anyone wondering I'm all good."

He also included two cheeky hashtags; "It is what it is" and "Bigger things to come". The Londoner stayed quiet on the reason behind his axeing.

Speculation has been off the charts as to why he was kicked off the show, and his removal was totally ignored on last night's episode. Ian Stirling, the show narrator, simply said;

"Earlier today, following conversations with the producers, Sherif left the villa. But for other Islanders, it's another day in paradise."

Many think he broke the solo sex rule in the shower, others said he was too anti-social and refused to speak to people and some said he was physically fighting with Anton.

We wonder what Anna has to say about all of this, seeing as she's now a single lady?

We're sure the real reason will be revealed sooner rather than later, most likely in a highly paid interview.

We've all noticed Love Island's resident Irish contestant Yewande NEVER being on screen. Literally never. The jacuzzi gets more air-time.

It seems the show's viewers have also seen the annoying pattern, and are hitting out at the ITV2 dating show for failing to give Callum, Michael and Yewande their due time on screen.

Those involved in all the drama and love triangles such as Lucie, Joe and Tommy are bound to be seen more, and 24 hours of footage has to be snipped down, but still.

Viewers claimed that Yewande, among other islanders, were being purposefully left out from the episodes, and host Caroline Flack tried to explain the reasoning behind this,

She felt it was more because of the show's main moments, and who has feelings for a fellow islander. Yewande has fancies Curtis, but that's about it. Plus he's a taken man.

On Love Island: Aftersun, Flack said; “We haven’t really seen enough of Yewande yet have we, but is it purely because she just hasn’t fancied anyone…”

AJ Odudu was a guest on the panel, and confessed that she believes Yewande has self-esteem issues and isn't ready to take on romance as of yet.

“I think Yewande has self-esteem issues, I really do, I feel like she’s her biggest barrier in there," she said.

Viewers and the entire panel are hoping that she'll find love in the form of new islander; Danny Williams.

The newbie will take Yewande and Amber out on a date tonight, stay tuned to see what happens. Judging by his massive ego, we think he's a better match for Amber though…damn it…
