Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews are preparing to walk down the aisle after getting engaged live on stage in London last night.

The former Made in Chelsea star popped the question after a production of The Lion King in London's West End.

Speaking about the moment he proposed, Spencer said: “I’ve known Vogue was the one for a long time.

The best girl in the world… @voguewilliams

“We’re very happy and in love. She’s my best friend and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her.

“The engagement had to be special, and as our first trip away together was to Disneyland Paris, it felt like the perfect fit.

“The Lion King is also one of the greatest stories of all time, so I figured that having just had a romantic evening watching it, she’d probably say yes!”

The couple, who have began dating after meeting on The Jump in 2016, are said to be over the moon.

We can't wait to see the ring!

The Kardashian family have been part of our pop cultural landscape for more than a decade.

Love them or loathe them, you cannot deny the impact they have had on various industries; from entertainment and tech to cosmetic and fashion, since the launch of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2007.

However, it seems an interest in the Kardashian phenomenon wasn't considered high-brow enough for many Celebrity Mastermind viewers this week who slammed Vogue Williams' choice of specialist subject.

Taking to the hot seat in the charity version of the iconic quiz show, Vogue, who has a degree in Construction design and management and quantitative surveying, had her knowledge of Kim Kardashian put to the test, and viewers were far from impressed.

Taking to Twitter, members of the public questioned both the topic and Vogue's poor performance in the General Knowledge segment of the show in a thread which makes for pretty awkward reading.

We mean, take a look at this…

She will also be talking about her new tell-all book, Everything.

With a career description including model, DJ, reality TV star, documentary maker and now author, we're sure the book is stuffed full of absorbing anecdotes.

Another Irish beauty, Roz Purcell will be on the couch to discuss the foodie-fitness industry.

Having started out as one of Ireland’s most successful models, Roz branched out into food with her hugely popular cookbook Natural Born Feeder.

Her new book, Half Hour Hero will also be discussed, as Roz gives Ryan a culinary class using her new recipes.

The women will be joined by comedian and science enthusiast Dara Ó Briain, who will be putting some scientific theories to the test.

As a community attempts to come to terms with a tragedy which claimed the lives of dozens of people in a London tower block last week, media outlets, high-profile personalities and members of the public are asking questions of authorities in recent days.

Using her Sunday World column to express her disbelief over the tragedy, 31-year-old Vogue Williams offered her own insights into the matter.

The radio and TV presenter, who has a degree in  Construction Design And Management as well as Quantitative Surveying, used her knowledge of the subject to question the scale of the tragedy.

"As someone who did two building-related degrees, I can't quite understand how a fire from a fridge in a flat on the fourth floor spread all over the building within 15 minutes," she wrote.

Acknowledging one particular constructional factor, she continued: "The external cladding used on the building was highly flammable and is a material banned in America – for reasons that seem very obvious now."

Like many people over the last week, Vogue was keen to point out the apparent inadequacies displayed by those in authority, writing: "There seems to have been failings on so many levels from the people who were in charge of this building."

"Families have been torn apart by this and it's incredibly upsetting to watch this unfold on the news," added Vogue who recently faced backlash over her stance on terrorists.

The latest reports out of London put the number of fatalities of the blaze at 79.

Vogue Williams has apologised for her comments about internment for extremists.

The 31-year-old faced massive backlash for her column in The Sunday World where she said "we can no longer sit around and do nothing," before suggesting that she agrees with internment for "known terrorists."

The reaction to her piece was overwhelmingly negative, and in this week's column, Vogue apologised for her stance on the situation.

She said at the time of writing the first column, she was "upset and shocked," and felt "frightened and angry."

She then added, "But after reflecting more deeply, I understand that suggesting internment camps – ie imprisonment without trial – was a misguided opinion.

"Everyone has the right to a fair trial and to be heard and I of course do not believe in a dictatorship type of government."

However, while she admitted that she made a "mistake," and she is "sorry for that," she still condemns the reaction to received online.

She said after the article was published, she got "death threats, hate [and] pure vilification," which "doesn't promote debate."

She signed off her column by saying we should not be afraid to debate or discuss the situation the world is in.

At this stage, we've all seen Vogue Williams' most recent column in The Sunday World, but just in case you haven't, the model-turned-DJ took the opportunity to use her platform to discuss one of the biggest issues facing our society today – terrorism.

The model, whose column was placed beside an image of her posing in a bikini, said that she was shaken by the Manchester attack, and that it made her feel that 'we can no longer sit around and do nothing,' a sentiment shared by many who despaired of the attack which claimed the lives of 22 people, including children.

The 31-year-old has faced massive backlash from the article, with claims on social media that the star wanted a 'mass internment of Muslims.'

However, after reading the column in its entirety, Vogue makes approximately zero references to the internment of Muslims, but actually says she agrees with the internment of known terrorists.

In fact, the only reference to Muslims in the entire article comes from a description of a Muslim police chief, who is backing internment for terrorists and extremists.

'This is something that should be decided on by the people, but I certainly agree with it. The only way to stop these senseless attacks is to put any potential threats away,' she says, drawing on the opinion of Muslim former police chief, Tarique Ghaffur.

Vogue admits that she is aware that the internment of IRA members in Northern Ireland, 'when 2,000 alleged paramilitaries were held without trial in makeshift camps' did not work, she feels that some kind of action needs to be taken to remove the threat of terrorism before any more people are killed.

Her reference to the IRA internment has led to online cries for the model to 'pick up a history book,' which is fair enough.

While Vogue's opinion on internment may be misguided, she still has a right to give her thoughts on a matter which affects more and more people as time goes by.

I won't pretend to be a security expert (as some accuse Vogue of), so while I won't offer my opinion on her thoughts on the matter, I do think the backlash she has faced comes from a place of dismissal based on her stance as an influencer, that she can't possibly know what she's talking about.

I think it is excellent that Vogue has used her platform to discuss something other than makeup or clothes, as most influencers won't touch social or political issue topics for fear of no longer appealing to their target audience.

It is a step in the right direction for other social media icons, who are looked up to by thousands, to come out and say how they feel about important issues, rather than feeling pigeonholed into certain subjects for fear of causing controversy.

Yes, her opinion is considered wrong by the majority, as evident in the overwhelmingly negative response, but the 'stay in your lane' mentality isn't conducive to an open and engaging society where all opinions are heard, considered, and then (as in the case of Vogue) dismissed.

People are saying that Vogue isn't 'qualified' to speak on the subject because she doesn't have a PhD in security and defence, but if that's the case, then very few people on this planet do have the right to discuss a massive issue, based on education level.

Vogue has proven that she is 'woke' to social issue thanks to her docu-series Vogue Williams – On the Edge, in which she investigated issues like drugs, social anxiety, gender dysmorphia and the obsessiveness nature of beautification in society.

Last time I checked, Vogue isn't an addiction councillor, gender non-conforming or a plastic surgeon, so why is terrorism off the cards for her to discuss?

Her views have been described as 'totalitarian, oppressive and genuinely sinister,' which is grand – the majority agrees that her column wasn't for them – but opening a narrative about these issues is what is so important, in order to come up with better suggestions and solutions.

Clearly, the vast majority of us disagree with Vogue and are anti-internment, but what do we think should be done?

Yes, we're bloody mortified for Vogue and the reciprocation of her comments, but she should still be allowed to offer her perspective, despite her status as a woman, influencer, model, DJ etc…

As a society, we have considered her opinion and deemed it to be unsavoury, so let's find better recommendations now, moving forward.

Vogue Williams has called out a troll on Facebook after she sent her a rather nasty message.

The DJ has had her fair share of online abuse, and decided that enough was enough.

After receiving a message that read, "Wh*re! Ashamed that your Irish you big sl*t," Vogue decided to name and shame her by posting the message to her own Facebook page.

"You're very easy to find on Facebook Eimear Conway. What a lovely way to conduct yourself sending people you don't know messages like this!

"I think it's time to get off Facebook and get back to your studies! It's you're not your babes….," she wrote.

Vogue was praised in the comments section of the post, with one fan saying, "Well done Vogue! Silly girl needs to go back to school to learn how to punctuate correctly. You're an inspiration to young girls, not a wh*re!"

While another user wrote, "Absolute vile words from a grown woman. Keep doing what you're doing Vogue (sic)."

We doubt she'll ever troll anyone again after that!

Body-shaming is never okay, whether someone is being branded too fat or not curvy enough.

Successful Irish TV personality Vogue Williams has felt the sting of body-shamers recently, but has responded in the best possible way.

"Getting comments about my weight again," the DJ tweeted.

"Yes I've put on 3.5kg, not bad considering I haven't been able to walk in 2 months…now go away," she finished, dismissing the haters.

The Dubliner severely injured her knee while training for Channel 4's The Jump earlier this year, and has been on crutches ever since, so understandably maintaining her usual physique probably hasn't been high on her to-do list while she, you know, recovers from a serious sport injury.

Vogue's fans were understandably shocked by the cruelty of fat-shaming, and offered her words of support.

"Some people have nothing better to be doing," said one.

We're glad Vogue put the body-shamers in their place with her tweet.

It looks like Vogue Williams may be making her way into the fashion industry.

The TV star is known for her killer style, and in a recent interview with Goss, she said that she is "definitely" going to release her own line soon.

The Dublin native said: "Absolutely. I think that there's so many things I want to do business wise, I definitely want to have my own clothing range."

The blonde beauty also said that she's thinking of going down the fitness route, too.

Vogue Wiliams has always been high on our style watch. Her hair, make-up and clothes are always totally drool-worthy, and her Instagram account gives us some serious inspo.

We've been used to seeing the blonde beauty with long, swinging locks, but now the TV star has gone for the chop… and it's absolutely gorgeous.

After having to bow out of The Jump due to an injury, Vogue has decided to change up her look and debuted the style on IG earlier today.

When @glamfeeney decides to take out my extensions, dye my hair and give me the chop! Love living with the dream hairdresser

She captioned the photo: "When @Glamfeeney decides to take out my extensions, dye my hair and give me the chop! Love living with the dream hairdresser."

If we could have our hair done like this, we'd love to live with a hairdresser too!

To be fair though, the girl can suit any look!

We'd barely gotten used to the idea that they were dating when recent reports claimed Vogue Williams and Laurence Fox were no more, but it looks like Laurence has nothing but good wishes for the Irish star.

Rumours that the pair were an item began swirling in recent months when the Irish TV presenter was spotted holding hands with the British actor, with numerous publications claiming Laurence had 'genuinely fallen for' Vogue.

Commenting on the burgeoning romance at the time, a source close to the pair said: "It’s very early days but both Laurence and Vogue consider themselves an item. They’re enjoying spending time together and have had some great nights out.”

Unfortunately, it looks like the good times recently came to an end for the pair, but Laurence is determined to keep thing amicable and recently referred to Vogue as his 'mate'.

"We're just really great mates. We have always just been good mates before meeting on Bear Grylls: Mission Survive and we continue to be really great mates," he told MailOnline.

38-year-old Laurence, who this year divorced Billie Piper after nine years of marriage, added: "There's nothing else really to say, but we're just great friends."

Turning his attention to the festive period, Laurence revealed that he doesn't have any big plans, saying: "I've got a feeling it might be quite a quiet one for me."

"I've never really been a huge New Year's Eve fan so it isn't going to be the kind of celebration that it's been in the past."

Vogue Williams is one busy lady. From being the brand ambassador of Easilocks to the new face of Irish tanning brand, SunKiss, it baffles us how she has any time to herself.

But as we chatted to her today, Vogue was putting up her Christmas tree (the colour theme is red, gold and white FYI), even though she admits that she'll barely see the tree over the Christmas holidays.

And why won't she? Well, work.

Her many TV shows have boomed over the years, and the blonde beauty says she owes that success to the topics in each series – they're real issues for real people.

"I get into real topics that people can relate to. And from those TV shows, I learn a lot and I hope the viewers learn a lot too.

"So much goes into them, but for next year you're going to see more gritty topics being discussed."

A photo posted by voguewilliams (@voguewilliams) on

Right now, Vogue swears she can't discuss those "gritty" topics because she "has to see if they'll let me put them on TV first!"

Many look up to Vogue, as she went from being a model to a DJ and now a star on our TV screens, but she knows just as well as anyone that breaking into TV is no easy feat. And even when you have broken that barrier, you still have to handle rejection.

For anyone who wants to go down the television career path, Vogue says that you have to give up a chunk of your life.

"You really need to love it, and honestly, you have to give up your life a little bit. I miss out on so many things. But, if TV is something you want to do, you can't give up on it.

"You will get knocked down, I have. But you just have to go for it, and if it's something you love doing, you won't mind working at it everyday."

When Dancing With The Stars Ireland was announced this summer, it was common knowledge in the realms of the Internet that Vogue was set to present the show. The presenting gig ultimately went to Amanda Byram and Vogue admits that she was disappointed with the news at first.

"I really wanted to be a presenter on Dancing With The Stars, but I didn't get it. At first I was raging, but then I got The Jump, so it all worked out."

A photo posted by voguewilliams (@voguewilliams) on

And as for handling the rejection? The Dublin native believes that you just have to move on.

"That's just life. For the most part, I don't see it as rejection. I just think that you have to get on with it and move on.

"What's meant for you won't pass you by."

A photo posted by voguewilliams (@voguewilliams) on

With every job that's in the public eye, you have to look your best – and we think Vogue is an absolute pro at this stage. But, instead of keeping up with the gltz and glamour, Vogue likes to look after her skin first and foremost.

"I love facials. I always have facials. Recently, my skin has flared up, and that never happened to me before, so I'm swearing by facials from Renaissance in Howth at the moment."

And as for her tan, Vogue is loving SunKiss. After recently being named as the new face of the brand, the DJ says that it's the best she's used in years.

A photo posted by voguewilliams (@voguewilliams) on

"You know what, it lasts so much longer!" she gasps. "I'm not overly-girly, and don't like having to take loads of time out to do my tan, but SunKiss is so easy to apply. I have it on in about ten minutes.

"I have mine on for about a week at this stage, and I constantly have showers after the gym, but it's still perfect. The last time I applied it, it last for two weeks!"

Is it just us or does Vogue seem to have it all worked out?!
