Vogue Williams has been on Irish girl's radar for a while now.

Over the past few years she has displayed her style, fitness and beauty regimes all over social media – and we can't get enough of it.

Well, very soon, Vogue's fans will be able to read all of her lifestyle secrets as the model is in the midst of writing a book.

The Dublin DJ took to Instagram to share the news with this sweet snap:

She captioned the photo: "These have been my essentials for the last few months and will be until September! So happy to announce that I am writing a book that will be out later this year."

We're looking forward to it!

They have both gone through very public splits recently, but maybe that's what has brought Vogue Williams and Professor Green together.

According to The Sun, a source claims that the pair have gone out on a series of dates over the past few weeks, with the most recent one being in a London pub.

"They looked completely relaxed eating out in the sunshine,” said the insider.

“After lunch, the two of them walked back to his just down the road and went inside.

“He was casually dressed while Vogue wore a pair of eye-catching sports shorts. They seemed to be enjoying themselves.”

Oooh, is a new relationship on the cards? Or are they just good buds? We're excited to see where this is all heading.

A few weeks ago, it was reported that Vogue Williams will take drugs on her RTÉ TV show, Vogue On The Edge.

The sole purpose of the idea was to show what happens after the drug, in this case LSD, hits you and how it changes you.

However, Vogue has now admitted that she won't be taking any illegal substances for the show, and the story was not intended to reach the public.

“The thing about that is the story got leaked, I got asked by my editor about that story and at the time, before you go into production of a show you have a million ideas on the table," she told TodayFM.

“That was one of them and that was a possibility but we didn’t go ahead with it like we wouldn’t with other ideas. That one got out and I won’t take LSD, so don’t worry.

“No drugs for me, my mum told me not to,” she added.

Brace yourselves ladies because it looks like Irish television is about to get very, very interesting over the coming months.

Having dabbled in dance and DJ'ing over the course of her high-profile career,  Irish model, Vogue Williams, will now be dabbling in drugs as part of a new four-part docu-series for RTÉ,

Yes, you read that right.

Speaking to the Sunday World, the 30-year-old model and radio host explained that the first episode of the upcoming RTÉ series will focus on the repercussions of recreational drug issue, and Vogue will be getting stuck in…under medical supervision, of course.

Vogue, who separated from Brian McFadden after a three-year marriage last July, is understandably a little nervous at the idea, telling the paper: "I’m terrified, it’s not something I’ve ever done before."

"It was never my thing, but we are going to do it for the show as we are looking at addiction – my mother is going to be delighted I’m sure," she added.

We don't quite know what to say…

Vogue Williams has slammed “jealous” Kian Egan after he voiced his views on Boyzlife last week.

The Voice of Ireland mentor is clearly not one bit happy about the new band, and when speaking on The Big Breakfast recently, he said they were doing it all wrong.

“It’s not the right way to do it. I think it was pretty unfair on the fans to make them think that [the bands were uniting.]

“It’s a bit of an off one. You know, a member of Westlife who left the band after four years decides to use half the name for whatever it is they’re doing. If Westlife ever got back together again, it would be Weslife. It would be the four guys who stood in Croke Park the day Westlife ended."

However, Kian's words hit a nerve with Brian's ex-wife Vogue Williams, and in her most recent Sunday World column, she gave Kian a piece of her mind.

“It was actually six years and without doubt, the most successful period for the band, including 12 number one singles. Westlife only enjoyed a further two number one singles after Brian left.

“Kian was pretty vocal in his attack. Thinking Brian doesn’t have the right to use the Westlife name is frankly just plain stupid. I suspect that Kian may have a case of the green-eyed monster. In fairness to Kian, I’d be raging too if I hadn’t thought of the idea myself, seeing how successful it’s been."

Ouch! There seems to be no love lost there.

Vogue Williams took to Instagram yesterday to share a heart-breaking tribute to a family friend who passed away just last month.

Posting a photo of 20-year-old Duncan McLean, the model gave some background into his life, explaining how he had been diagnosed with cancer just days before his death.

“My younger brother Alexander lost one of his closest friends to a sudden onset brain tumour on the 28th February," she wrote alongside the smiling photo of Duncan.

The post told us of how Duncan was “admitted to hospital in Edinburgh on Thursday 26th February…and died early on the Sunday morning, only two days later.”

A friend of her younger brother's, the loss obviously hit hard with Vogue, who finished her post with some shocking stats about the rise of cancer-related deaths among young people.

This isn’t the first time Vogue has opened up about a personal loss on her social media. Late last year she took to Instagram to mark the fifth anniversary of her father's tragic passing.

Along with a picture of her late father was a touching message where she called him her “best friend”.

Washboard abs, toned arms and perfect legs… Vogue Williams might have a body to die for, but she makes no secret of the hard work she puts in to stay looking her best.

The model regularly shares photos and videos of her high-octane workouts on social media, and it's clear she's not one to slack off in the gym.

Case in point is this bum and ab workout, which Vogue shared with close to 100k followers on Instagram yesterday.

We're getting tired just looking at the short clip, showing an intense mix of pylometric box jumps, squats and burpees which Vogue blasted through with the help of her trainer, Maya Saffron.

The worst part? This was only a tiny portion of the model's workout – she promised to share the full thing on her Hello! magazine blog next week.

Wow. And it turns out we're not the only ones feeling envious/motivated by Vogue's latest workout video – her fellow model Nadia Forde was quick to comment on the post, calling Vogue her "fitspiration."

Nadia has been hitting the gym hard herself of late, after dropping over two stone in the last year through a mix of clean eating and no-holds-barred workouts.

"I go to the gym four or five days a week now," she told the Irish Independent last month.

"Boot camp taught me how much we can do in the gym if we really push ourselves. You'll never find me just going in for 20 minutes anymore and floating through.

"I'm in for an hour and sometimes I'll do a class along with my workout in the gym. I feel guilty if I don't go to the gym but that's just become a thing lately."

Fair play to these two amazing ladies.

Time was that a red carpet event was an everyday occurrence on the busy Irish social scene.

After all, who can forget the likes of the VIP Style and the TV Now awards being the hottest tickets in town?

Charlize Theron would pop along to the Meteors, while the Iftas also boasted oodles of Hollywood attendees.

Duchess Kate and her Mammy Middleton would swing by for a weekend break in our capital (circa spring 2007), making sure to stop by a fancy-pants, red-carpeted gallery launch while they were in town.

Then there was the Eurovision, an iron-clad stable of the mid-Nineties. Even the MTV Europe Music Awards came to Dublin back in 1999 (where Christina, Mariah, Britney and Whitney – *swoon* – ALL made an appearance).

Of course, red carpet events still take place: but we dare say that there’s not quite as much glitz nor as much glam these days. Yes, the dresses are more muted; the hair decidedly less full.

Thankfully, however, you may yet have reason to dust off your Gina sandals.

Yes, the inaugural black-tie Gossies are taking place this Sunday in Dublin and suffice to say that the guestlist (Vogue Williams, Rosanna Davison, Nicola Hughes and Roz Purcell) is as impressive as anything 2006 could have offered us. Hurrah!

Here, in honour of the glamorous Gossies (where a total of 18 awards will be up for grabs), we examine the five key red carpet styles we can expect to see on the night…

1) Dressed to the nines

A big night out means only one thing: a really big dress. Take inspiration from Lisa Cannon in Vera Wang:

2) Keeping it casual

The ‘oh this old thing’ vibe. Look to Mariah Carey – dressed down in a black vest and ripped denim jeans – for ideas:

3) Look at me

The UTV Ireland cameras will be there at the Gossies, so expect a few head-turners, just like Michelle Keegan:

4) Dividing opinion

They’ll love it or they’ll hate it. Check out Lorraine Keane in a Deborah Veale gown to perfect your look:

5) Classic is best

Why try and reinvent the wheel – keep it simple like Kathryn Thomas:

Fashion comes in many forms, and in this case that statement is certainly true.

Vogue Williams has been confirmed for her sixth year running as a judge with Bank Of Ireland's Junk Kouture competition, a fashion show with a big difference. Secondary school students from all over the country will compete on the catwalk with totally original designs, all crafted from – yep, you've guessed it – rubbish.

Of course, we're assuming that it'll take something a little more elaborate than a black bin bag dress to wow Vogue and her fellow judges, and it turns out we're right.

"As a judge, I love seeing unusual materials being used to create extraordinary designs so think outside the box," says Vogue.

"Over the years the most striking and best dresses have been those entries who stick to using only one or up to three different materials."

The Dublin-born model will join Louis Walsh, Tracey Fahey of Limerick School of Art & Design and stylist Rob Condon at the 3Arena on April 14 to choose this year's winner.

If you know someone with an eye for fashion (and junk) who might like to take part, they're in luck as this year's closing date has been extended to February 4.

"We love the high fashion couture dresses," Vogue advises anyone who might be thinking of entering. "Think Fashion Week!"

Students can enter on the Bank Of Ireland Junk Kouture website (a maximum of three students can work on each design), and for more information you can check out the BOIstudents Facebook page.

Vogue Williams has slammed Celebrity Big Brother's slut shaming in her Sunday World column today.

Speaking about the Stephanie and Jeremy controversy, the Dublin DJ wrote about how it's wrong to slut-shame a girl, yet call a guy a "hero" if he sleeps with a woman.

“In this situation I think she is very much in the wrong,” she said.

“Jeremy shouldn’t be going there either, but she is the one in the relationship.”

The model then went on to say that even though it's wrong, there's a serious case of double standards going on with the public over the relationship.

“What has happened now is a clear case of slut shaming and double standards… She’s a twenty-two year old girl and that’s what most of us do at twenty-two.”

“But it’s always different if it’s a girl because automatically she’s seen as a ‘slut’. It really annoys me.”

“Why is it okay for these boys to act like that, yet it’s so bad that Steph wanted to go on a date with them?” Vogue wrote in her column.

“Everyone is entitled to do what they please and if they choose to be promiscuous so be it, but it shouldn’t make a girl a slut and a man a hero.”
