Well, you can't say we don't look good.

It has been revealed that Irish women spend a total of three days every year styling our gruaige.

A survey carried out by Great Lengths Hair Extensions found that the average Irish woman cares a lot about her hair, and all of these hours are mainly spent washing and blow drying.

Most ladies wash their hair every other day, with only 8 percent taking Kim Kardashian's approach of washing their hair every five days.

But if this is surprising to you, it probably shouldn't. Ireland has one of the highest rates in Europe for using foundation and fake tan. We're a glamorous bunch, right?

And it's not only the ladies taking up this much time for styling. Yep, the lads are in on it too, spending the same amount of time gelling and styling their locks.

And who won the prize for being our hair hero? None other than Vogue Williams, of course.

Vogue Willams has settled a breach of contract claim against a popular Dublin dental clinic.

The model brought a breach of contract claim to the Circuit Civil Court in Dublin against Seapoint Clinic last year.

Her claim against the Blackrock business was brought to court today, as Vogue claimed €38,000 in damages previously.

Vogue alleged that in January 2012, she made an agreement with the clinic for dental treatment – which included the fitting of braces and veneers, replacement of a temporary crown and cosmetic treatment – for an agreed sum of €7,000.

She also claims that she agreed to do an interview with an Irish magazine and a video testimonial promoting the clinic for a discount on the price of her treatment.

The 29-year-old then alleged that after having provided the clinic with the agreed publicity, it sought full payment for her treatment.

But Seapoint Clinic did not back down and made a counter-claim against Vogue. They alleged that Vogue failed to attend a number of scheduled appointments and that it had been put to expense and cost as a result.

The clinic delivered a full defence and counter claim to Vogue's today, yet none of which was made public.

Barrister David Boughton, for Ms Williams, told Mr Justice Raymond Groarke in the Circuit Court that his client's claim has been settled and can be struck out with no further order.

Barrister Shane English, for Seapoint Clinic said that the defendant was consenting to the order.

Being mugged can be a terrifying experience for anyone, and model Vogue Williams has taken to social media to share her unfortunate news that she was robbed this afternoon.

The Dublin native admitted to her followers on Twitter that she was pushed to the ground in London and two men stole her phone in the process.

She wrote, "Just had two men on a moped push me to the ground and steal my phone when I was on it, be really careful using your phone in public"

Ms Williams warned her fans to be extra vigilant about using phones in public after the shocking incident.

It's been seven months since Vogue Williams and Brian McFadden announced their split, and though things might seem to be going well for the model, she's admitted it's been an uphill struggle.

Speaking in the new issue of VIP magazine, the 29-year-old admitted that the end of her marriage also meant the end – at least temporarily – of many of her aspirations for the future.

"My head's all over the place. I feel like I don't have a goal," she admitted. "Everything that I wanted is sort of gone."

Like any woman in the midst of a break-up, Vogue says she's had to get used to life as a single woman again.

"I wanted to be married and I wanted to have kids for so long and now that's sort of gone, and I'm like, 'What do I do now?' I'm trying to figure out where I'm going with my life and that causes a lot of anxiety."

Despite having what has seemed like one of the most amicable celebrity break-ups we've seen in recent years, the Dublin born model says it hasn't all been rosy.

"It's not as easy as it looks and we do have our problems. But I would rather not put it out there. I just think it looks bad for everyone involved.

"Brian has two kids, I get on very well with them and I'd hate for them to see us publicly bash each other."

Vogue and Brian reportedly met for Christmas at her family home, and even exchanged gifts, as she revealed on social media earlier this month.

"How amazing is this sketch I got done for Brian for Christmas…I like giving presents someone can have forever," she wrote alongside this sketch of her ex and the former couple's shared dog Winston.

Here's hoping for a bright 2016 for Ms. Williams.

Vogue Williams has had a very busy year. But unfortunately it was not all good.

The 29-year-old presenter split from Brian McFadden, her husband of five years, earlier in the summer, but she has still managed to look on the bright side.

Writing on her column for Hello! Magazine, the pretty model reflected on her year.

"2015 was definitely a year of ups and downs for me but I never look back on any year and regret it."

One of the greatest successes of her year was having her own show on RTE.

Vogue presented the series Wild Girls this year which in one episode saw her entering a female prison.

"Finishing my TV shows and getting such a great response was another highlight for me. I worked very hard on the series and it’s always a year in the making before it even gets to air, so for everyone to enjoy it was brilliant."

“I actually cried when I read the reviews because I had been so nervous of what people would think."

While she does not believe in resolutions, Vogue has lot's of things to look forward to in 2016.

"All in all I enjoyed 2015, I had so many laughs with friends and family and learnt a lot. I never write New Years resolutions I don’t see the point in them, I do write goals though."

“I think it’s good to set goals you want to achieve in the New Year so you can be more focused and driven to achieve them."

Irish beauty Vogue Williams regularly updates fans with behind-the-scenes snaps from shoots, showing off her downright AMAZING body.

Despite being very open about the gruelling lengths she goes to in the gym to keep her lean figure in check, Vogue was the subject of some controversy recently after one photo in particular earned her some negative attention.

Writing in her Sunday World column yesterday, Vogue referenced a photo she had posted last month showing her in underwear, a sweater and knee-high socks.

Many commenters suggested Vogue had Photoshopped the area around her thighs to make her legs look slimmer, pointing at her large thigh gap as evidence that editing software had been used.

"I posted a photo to my Instagram last week during a shoot I was doing. Now I know I shouldn’t read comments on websites but I can’t help myself sometimes," she said.

"I also got some direct mails on Instagram telling me I didn’t need to Photoshop myself, so I thought I would use this opportunity to set the record straight.

"I didn’t Photoshop myself in this picture at all, I used filters, but I don’t even know if it’s possible to Photoshop a picture so small.

And I don’t know how to use Photoshop either!"

If you're wondering how exactly Vogue does get her perfect body, we'd suggest ignoring those Photoshop claims and directing your attention to this:

We've always known Hozier was a fairly sound lad despite his skyrocketing levels of fame, and now he's proven that yet again.

The Bray native is one of a host of Irish musicians and entertainers taking part in RTÉ 2fm's Christmas charity appeal, to raise much-needed funds for the ISPCC.

This Thursday December 3, 2fm will broadcast live from the window of Benetton on Stephen's Green, where hosts of each show will be joined by some huge Irish names.

As well as Hozier – who we're hoping will sing a song or two – other guests include Jamie Heaslip, Vogue Williams, Hometown, RipTide Movement and Angela Scanlon.

So if you have a few minutes free on your lunch break or are in the capital to get some Christmas shopping done, stop by the window and you could find yourself watching Hozier perform live – albeit behind a pane of glass.

If you can't make it to Stephen's Green, you can follow the action live on 2fm between 7am and 7pm, or check out the updates on Twitter and Facebook.

Plus, Hozier will be performing at the 2fm Ball at the 3Arena on December 23rd, along with Little Green Cars, Gavin James, RipTide Movement, Hudson Taylor and more. Tickets for the event start at €45 and are on sale now in aid of the ISPCC.

As part of the campaign, listeners can also enter to win an incredible 3Arena Golden Ticket, entitling them to two tickets to EVERY show in the 3Arena and EVERY MCD open air concert in 2016. Adele, Little Mix, Rihanna… you name it.

To enter – and donate to the ISPCC – simply text 2fmBall to 50300 between now and Thursday afternoon.

We’ve actually just about given up on our teenage dreams of looking like a real celebrity.

Sure we do a mean liquid-liner-strong-brow combo and yup,we’ve been known to rock some pretty on fleek, red carpet worthy looks.

But we’ve now old and wise enough to come to the conclusion that constantly sporting SnapChat-ready hair, make-up and accessories (we salute you, famous folk) is just too overwhelming for normal beings.

Still, we’re not ones to pass on the opportunity to occasionally go serious Kardashian-Jenner glam for a really special event – and that’s where Starla dresses comes in.

Rosanna Davidson

Located on Dublin’s South William Street, but with a great website for anyone based outside the capital, the outlet is basically the go-to place for the likes of Rosanna Davison, Holly Carpenter, Suzanne Jackson, Nicola Hughes, Hazel O’Sullivan, Vogue Williams and Lynn Kelly.

And let’s face it: those lovely ladies go to A LOT of fancy-pants social events.

@lynnkelly_ looking stunning in her Starla LBD

Starla hires out designer dresses from just €80 – think the head-turning Sierra dress, or the sexy All Saints gold eagle number, the latter of which has been seen on Rosanna. Or alternatively, borrow a serious statement number from Alex Perry for €200 or less – he’s the Aussie designer that’s hugely popular with the likes of Sandra Bullock, Giuliana Rancic, and Ariel Winter.      We furthermore got more than a little excited when we spotted fabulouso frocks to purchase from just €65. And *whisper it* Starla on occasion sells off former rental stock (which is always in perfect condition) for a fraction of the original price: at the moment we have one very keen eye on this stunning hand-painted Holt Miami dress. Kim Kardashian loves the label, and while it would have been (gulp) more than €1,000 to buy, it is now on sale for just €180… #swoon.   For those that don’t do dresses – the store and website both have a brilliant selection of accessories and fur for sale: think bags, bangles and rings, not to mention [pictured above] amazing €30 bobble hats that have just arrived in for winter.  Here, with a debs/wedding/ball/graduation spring in our step, SHEmazing! has rounded up the very best that Starla currently has to offer…

It's been five years since her father's tragic death, and yesterday Vogue Williams paid tribute to the man she called a "best friend."

Vogue's father Freddie died of a stroke in November 2010 aged 68, and though he had been unwell for a while his death came as a total shock for the model.

"He had a stroke before and two heart attacks," Vogue explained to Ryan Tubridy on RTÉ Radio 1 last year.

"He was actually going in to hospital to have surgery for an aneurism and after that he died from a stroke."

Taking to Instagram yesterday, the RTÉ Two presenter admitted her dad was still on her mind every day.

"Five years ago today we lost our amazing Dad. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him," she wrote alongside a close-up photo of Freddie.

A photo posted by voguewilliams (@voguewilliams) on

"I'm so glad we got to the stage of being best friends as well as father and daughter before I lost him. Miss you always Dad."

The 29-year-old has spoken before about how close she was to her late father, saying they used to party together like friends.

"My dad is my dad and it was good to be friends with him. I used to go out with him at weekends and stay with him during the week," she said.

"You would see him in Gibney’s in Malahide every night, you wouldn’t miss him, he partied hard. He liked having a good time and loved smoking.

"I thought I’d always be upset about it, but almost five years on I love hearing stories about him."

Having split from singer Brian McFadden in July 2015 after three years of marriage, Vogue says the last few months have been tough for her.

"Life is so strange and at times extremely difficult,” she said in a recent interview.

"I haven’t had the best year and it doesn’t look like the rest of it will be much better but hard times only make you tougher."

It was all black and white on the night: yes, on the Iftas red-carpet yesterday the stylish stars stuck to what they know best – and that means duplicating many of the looks that also dominated back in May.

For the first time this year, the glitzy ceremony was split into two high-profile nights: the film and drama awards, which took place in May, and last night's bash – which honoured achievements in the television industry.

But while the two events means two excuses to dress up for a host of high-profile celebs, most stuck to what they know best: and that evidently means LOTS of black and white.

Yes, keeping things cool and classic, an array of Ifta attendees then and now opted for monochrome hues, with bright colour very much being the exception rather than the rule on both evenings.

Amanda Byram, Ronan and Storm Keating, Imelda May, Rachel Wyse, Vogue Williams, Rosanna Davison, Colette Fitzpatrick and Lucy Kennedy: they ALL shunned colour.

Here, SHEmazing! takes a look at the best red-carpet black-and-white style from the 2015 Iftas…

Speculation was rife last week that Vogue Williams and Brian McFadden could be about to reunite – and now one half of the former celeb couple has spoken out.

Vogue and Brian confirmed their split back in July after two years of marriage, but they seem to be making continued efforts to remain friends.

So much so, in fact, that Vogue reveals the pair went home together after a recent red carpet event – though she insists it was for totally innocent reasons.

"I still lived at Brian's so we left together, that's all," she said in reference to a Specsavers event the couple both attended two weeks back.

Despite their joint exit, Vogue tells Suburbia Online the pair were "both invited separately and arrived separately."

The fact that the former couple were still co-habiting in London had been taken by many as a sign that the relationship was not quite over, but Vogue has apparently now moved out… just about.

"I'm only moving out this Saturday," she explained during the interview, conducted last week at a Pandora store launch in London.

While Vogue says the pair are just "good friends" at this stage, other well-placed sources beg to differ.

Just last week, one insider told The Mirror that a reunion was imminent – adding that Vogue and Brian were back together in all but name.

Officially, both are saying they’re still not together," the source said.

"But it’s plain to see there’s still chemistry there and their old feelings for one another haven’t gone away."

Another source suggested the star couple never even split in the first place, calling the supposed break-up "a master class as to how to keep your name in the papers."

As for Brian, he has yet to speak out about the split – or the possibility of a reunion.

Trending

It's been a particularly baffling breakup: even in celebrity terms.

When Brian McFadden and Vogue Williams announced their split in July – via identical messages on Twitter – their fans were undoubtedly shocked.

Married for just two-and-half years, the couple had recently bought a house together in north Dublin and had acquired a new puppy.

Even their closest friends were said at the time to be taken aback by the revelation of the duo's apparent marital strife.

Since then, the stars have also rarely been out of each other's company, attending a load of the same high-profile events and regularly directing public messages to one another – complete with kisses – on social media.

Indeed, when the model and DJ celebrated her 30th birthday in Dublin earlier this month, she did so with the former Westlife crooner by her side.

But then, Brian, 35, and Vogue are still living together in London, with Vogue explaining that "it's hard," to find a place in the English capital.

Now, there are fresh claims that the close pair are in fact in the midst of reconciling.

A well-placed source told the The Mirror: "Officially, both are saying they’re still not together.

"But it’s plain to see there’s still chemistry there and their old feelings for one another haven’t gone away."

There is currently no official comment from either camp.

Incredibly, online commentators have recently begun to increasingly question whether the pair ever really broke up in the first place.

"It was a publicity stunt to raise Vogue's profile," suggested one. "It worked. She's been in the media more than ever since their 'split'."

Another offered: "This has been a master class as to how to keep you name in the papers."

But a third was kinder, saying they'd love to see them reunite: "Yea I don't believe that they really split up. You can tell that they adore each other and nothing has come out about why they split. In an interview recently he described her as his 'best friend'.

"As amicable as a divorce can be, I wouldn't say that's how you would refer to your ex. Would be nice to see them back together."

Mr McFadden has, of course, experienced marital breakdown before: he and his first wife Kerry Katona were married for two-and-a-half years. They broke up in 2004 and together have two children, Molly, 13, and Lilly-Sue, 12.

Curiously, his own break-up announcement came hot on the heels of gossip that Kerry and her third marriage, to George Kay, was over. That couple have now confirmed their split and are in the midst of divorcing.

Also engaged for several years to Aussie singer Delta Goodrem, Brian married Ms Williams in a lavish ceremony held in Florence in September 2012, photographs of which were featured in a glossy Hello! magazine spread.
