OK we’re going to be honest here: we weren’t overly keen on Kim Kardashian’s blonde hair.

It wasn’t awful – her features mean she can probably pull-off even the most extreme styles – but ultimately, darker locks got our vote every time.

Until, that is, we saw her hot-off-the-presses Vogue Brasil cover: big dark eyes, smouldering to the camera – and totally gorgeous with her mop of platinum blonde tresses.

In fact, we dare say this is one of our favourite Kimmy looks to date.

And evidently Vogue Brasil agreed: the publication released not one but two different Kim Kardashian covers for its June 2015 body issue, which hit shelves yesterday.

Late last night, she also posted a behind-the-scenes video clip from the shoot – which took place in Brazil several weeks ago.

It depicts the reality TV star as a 1960s screen goddess; applying mascara and layers of lipstick.

When she first went blonde in March, Ms Kardashian’s colourist, Lorri Goddard, told Us Weekly that it was just the right time for a colour “adventure”.

Apparently the process took nearly four hours, and Lori also stated that the super-light hue was “glamorous, rebellious, sexy, and chic”.

Vogue US has just released the front cover for its special edition Met Gala issue, and there's one glaring absence from the list of celebrities who made the cut.

Singer Rihanna was crowned Anna Wintour's style winner on the night, and graces the cover in her stunning canary yellow floor-sweeping gown, a creation by Chinese designer Guo Pei.

Riri shared the exciting news with her 18.6m Instagram followers today, posting an image of the vibrant cover and writing, "WOW!!! I am very honored to have this image selected for the new cover of @voguemagazine !! #metgala2015 #art #fashion #Vogue"

The competition was stiff at this year's Gala, with Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Kendall Jenner and more all looking downright fabulous, and receiving their rightful recognition in the list of celebrity names featured on the special Vogue cover.

However despite Kim Kardashian's stunning Roberto Cavalli ensemble, her name didn't make the cover – something which many are taking as a direct snub from Anna Wintour to Kim and Kanye.

The star couple's names were featured on last year's Met Gala cover, and they even graced the front of Vogue themselves back in April 2014.

Since then though, Kim and Kanye's appeal seems to have worn off for Anna, and it seems once you're out of the editor's good books you won't get back in.

After all, who can forget her face earlier this year when little North West had a temper tantrum in the middle of Kanye's Adidas show at New York Fashion Week?

We can't decide who looks more upset, Anna or North…

Kim didn't exactly make things easy for herself on the night of the Met Gala by outright ignoring Anna's "selfie ban" and posting a number of pictures from inside the event, which many say may have led to the decision to cut her name from the cover.

I just love this girl @ladygaga

As for Rihanna, she definitely seems to be the star of the moment at Condé Nast, as this is her second year running as cover star for the Vogue Met Gala issue:

It's definitely well deserved for RiRi, but we doubt Kim's too happy all the same.

She said herself she was comedy gold, and now she’s pretty much proved it! In order to appreciate Victoria Beckham’s latest hilarious tweet, you must first watch her video for Vogue 73 Questions:

Believe us, it is SO worth it!

The fashion designer has now drawn attention to a hilarious spoof of the video, set in a corner shop that sees Victoria declaring her love for Rizlas and sausages and mash. Victoria was so impressed with the spoof that she tweeted it, alongside a side-eye emoji we're pretty sure sums up her feelings about it!

We have to say, this woman’s impression of VB is by far the best we have EVER seen! No wonder the lady herself is so impressed!

Ever wondered what the first thing Victoria Beckham does in the morning is? Or what she’s learned from her children? Well, now there’s no more wondering as Vogue have done all of the work for us.

Victoria is the latest celebrity to feature in the magazine’s ’73 questions’ and it’s set in her beautiful London flagship store.  The video gives us a rare glimpse into the designer’s life, from her hates (being asked why she doesn’t smile) and the definition of misery (er..Kathy Bates).

Victoria also says that people will be surprised to know that she is 'comedy gold' which is not true at all, we have always enjoyed her dry sense of humour!

It’s common knowledge that the world of fashion isn’t exactly open-minded when it comes to the definition of “beauty.”

With such a severe gap in the number of plus-size models (or anyone over a size zero) on the catwalks and on magazine covers, it’s no surprise that the fashion industry falls down in other ways, too.

A recent investigation by style site The Fashion Spot focusing on the number of people of colour featured on the covers of style magazines has highlighted just how difficult it can be for models to gain recognition if they do not fit the “perfect” ideals. In a survey of 44 major print publications from 2014, it was found that models of colour featured on just a fifth of covers during the year.

To make matters worse, certain magazines used only white models on their covers. Vogue UK did feature more than one group cover including models of different ethnicities, but writer Gillian Forbes noted that the magazine “hasn't featured a woman of colour on a solo cover in 12 years (Naomi Campbell got that honour).”

The piece was later updated to note that celebrity models including Beyoncé, Salma Hayek and Rihanna had featured on Vogue UK covers in the last 12 years, but that no other fashion models of colour had featured except for Naomi Campbell.

Of course, Vogue UK’s editors could argue that they are simply featuring the models of the moment, regardless of skin colour, weight or any other factor. However Gillian also notes that “one of Britain's most prominent and in-demand models, Jourdan Dunn, wasn't afforded a cover, despite her impressive body of work and overall popularity. Yet Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss were given two covers each… If a high-profile black model isn’t afforded a major cover in her own country, there’s a problem.”

Vogue UK is not the only magazine to be slated in the research – Vogue Russia, Paris, Ukraine and Teen Vogue also featured only white models on solo covers, as did Harper’s Bazaar US and UK. Coincidence… or selling tactic?

Fashion media has come a long way in recent years, but it’s disappointing to see these magazines fall down in such a big way.

It’s true that designers and publications are extremely strict about their choice of model – you just need to look at the body shape that dominates the catwalks to see that – but it’s distressing that the same strict decision-making might apply to something as basic as skin colour. Surely we have moved beyond that kind of small-minded thinking by now?

In this day and age, diversity should be a given, not something that is so glaringly lacking in so many industries.

Anna Wintour truly is the devil that wears all of the Prada – which is why we love her so much!

The editor of Vogue was all over news headlines earlier this year when she made the controversial decision to put Kim Kardashian West and her husband Kanye on the cover of the fashion magazine.

At the time, many people – including celebrities– were outraged at the cover and many even cancelled their subscription.

Now, Anna has spoken out about her decision, but rather than praise Kim and Kanye, she actually gives what can only be described as the biggest backhanded compliment that has ever been given.

Anna was featuring in a conversation series with journalist Alina Cho at the Metropolitan Museum of New York when she spoke about giving Madonna a cover back in 1989: “The first celebrity that I put on the cover of Vogue was Madonna, and that was considered completely controversial at that time, too.”

She then went on to say that it was not always a good idea to put “tasteful” people on the cover: “I think if we just remain deeply tasteful and just put tasteful people on the cover, it would be a rather boring magazine! Nobody would talk about us. It’s very important that people do talk about us.”

Wow – in one sentence, she managed to say that Kim, Kanye and even Madonna are not tasteful enough to be on Vogue, but that’s why they are there.

We’re sure Kanye is just going to LOVE this!

Oh, Anna – never change!

Taylor Swift has been rocking a bob for a few months now and we have to say we are mad about it – it even convinced a few of us here to go for the chop!

So we’re a little confused as to why Vogue didn’t embrace Taylor’s new haircut for their upcoming November issue and instead slicked her hair back so it looks like she has a mullet… eek.

We love the cover in general – the pastels look great and Taylor looks stunning, as always.

She was just recently topped People magazine's best dressed list, and there's no doubt why – she has been rocking some serious outfits recently!

But that hair though…is it just us?!

One of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding guest, Andre Leon Talley isn’t too impressed from one aspect of the big day back in May.

Andre, who is contributing editor for Vogue, learnt on Watch What Happens Live that his face had been blurred out of the wedding episodes on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and he is NOT impressed!

Andre claimed that she signed a release to allow his face to be shown on the wedding special and his reaction when he finds out is frankly hilarious as he exclaims: “Oh no – Kim’s gonna hear from me tonight!”

Jennifer Hudson, who was starring on the show too, looked a little concerned as Andre blasted Kim for blocking his face out – uh oh!

Anna Wintour has long been recognised as one of the scariest faces in fashion. Rarely pictured without her sunglasses and a stern frown, if we saw her in real life we'd probably hide behind our copy of Vogue. But in this new video, the notoriously difficult editor seems quite down-to-earth and, dare we say it, sweet! She even takes off the sunnies…for a while!

In the video, Anna answers 73 questions about herself – from what she has for breakfast (Starbucks), to her biggest phobia (spiders), to her least favourite fashion buzzword (we won't spoil that one).

Oscar de la Renta even makes a cameo appearance via speakerphone – sure, that's just a normal day at the office for Anna.

The vid is also a great chance to get a sneak peek at the US Vogue offices – we're in heaven!

We know that Cara Delevingne doesn’t hold back when it comes to her social media antics, but we’re still a little bit shocked to see her launch a full on Twitter attack against Vogue magazine.

The model was hitting back at claims from the magazine who said that the model fell asleep during one of their interviews.

American Vogue’s Plum Skyes claimed that Cara was late for a meeting and said that the model always “always wakes up 10 minutes before she has to go anywhere.”

Plum went on to say that the model requested a massage before the interview and then fell asleep, causing the meeting to be cut short.

Skyes went on to write in the Vogue feature that the model was out partying the night before with Lily Allen.

But according the 21-year-old model was quick to respond to the articles publication and went on to attack the magazine and the fashion industry on Twitter.

Hmmm after those tweets it’s probably a good idea not to get on Cara’s bad side.

It looks like the hit reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians is losing another one of its stars!

According to reports, Kendall Jenner is planning on leaving the show to pursue her modelling career.

The 18-year-old recently featured in Vogue Paris and admits that it was a “dream”. Talking to E! News, the gorgeous model said:  ”I get more and more comfortable with everything. It’s fun thought, it’s the world I wanna be living in, so it’s awesome.”

Katie Grand, Kendall’s stylist for the Vogue shoot believes the youngster has what it takes to become successful.

She said:  ”She has long elegant limbs, she’s one of those giraffe phenomenas who walk in and look like they were drawn that way.

Katie added: ”It would have been easy for Kendall to go with a bigger agency and gone down a celebrity route but she wants to be taken seriously as a model just like the rest of them.”

It seems her future lies not in reality TV but in modelling, although we have to agree – she does seem like a natural!

Anna Wintour has topped the fashion names on Forbes magazine’s ‘100 Most Powerful Women’ list.

The American Vogue editor-in-chief and artistic director of Condé Nast has been placed at number 39 on this year’s list – a whole two places higher than in 2013.

This is in part down to her fundraising work for the Anna Wintour Costume Centre and President Obama’s re-election campaign.

Anna, 64, beat designers Diane Von Furstenberg, who ranked in 68th place, Miuccia Prada in 75th and Tory Burch in 79th as well as supermodel Gisele Bundchen, who has an estimated wealth of $42million.

Also on the list in 43rd place is Spanx creator Sara Blakely who made history after turning her $5,000 life savings into the billion dollar brand, becoming the world’s first self-made female billionaire.

Sara has also joined the Giving Pledge, vowing to donate at least half of her earnings to charity.

Beyonce, Shakira, Oprah Winfrey, Angelina Jolie and Sofia Vergara also made it onto the list, which was topped by the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.
