Forget some lousy DJ, if you want great music at your wedding you need to get in the big guns!

Maroon 5 have just released the video for their new single Sugar, and they've channelled Vince Vaughan and Owen Wilson by crashing weddings all over America. 

The lads surprised couples across the country with impromptu performances during the wedding reception. And judging by the looks on everyone's faces, this was no staged or scripted ploy – it was the real deal.

The whole thing was overseen by none other than Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin, just to give some authenticity to the whole affair!

"It was an out of body experience," said the band's frontman Adam Levine. "I had no idea I would be affected by the overwhelming reactions we received from the couples and guests. Being able to create an unforgettable experience for several people was the highlight of it all."

Pity they didn't make it as far as Ireland – can you imagine the craic?!
