When it comes to celebrity weddings, those A-listers tend to go one of two ways.

Some couples find their way onto the cover of a glossy magazine and others say their 'I do's' without the press or public even realising.

Firmly in the latter camp are Hollywood couple, Kate Mara and Jamie Bell, who chose to keep schtum about their recent ceremony until the deal was officially done.

Nuptials

A post shared by Kate Mara (@katemara) on

Oh, and even after deciding to public with the fact they tied the knot at the weekend, the couple chose not to share too much of the event with their fans and followers.

Uploading the same unfocussed shot to their Twitter and Instagram accounts, the couple, who began dating in 2015, chose to keep it short and sweet in their captions.

"Nuptials," wrote 34-year-old Kate alongside her snap while 31-year-old Jamie simply wrote; "Me & Mrs B."

The posts, which were inundated with support from fans and followers, have amassed thousands of likes in recent hours.

It's been two months since Miranda Kerr wed Snapchat founder, Evan Spiegel, and ever since the pair met at the top of the aisle, her fans and followers have been only dying for a glimpse of the chosen gown.

And today, the 34-year-old Australian model put an official end to the suspense.

Taking to Instagram to share a series of shots from her big day, the Victoria Secret Angel looked every bit as beautiful as you would have expected.

Thank you Maria Grazia Chiuri and @dior for creating my dream wedding dress

A post shared by Miranda (@mirandakerr) on

Opening up about the design which she wore in front of 35 guests at an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles, Miranda admitted the gown exceeded her expectations.

"I think it's every girl's dream to have Dior design her wedding dress. " Miranda said during an interview with Vogue.

"I wanted a dress that fully covers you and creates a sense of mystery and purity." she added. "I've had a lot of fun with fashion, and I used to be more wild, free and bohemian. But in this period of my life, my style is more pulled back."

Such a magical day

Offering an insight into her fashion influence, she continued: "My greatest sources of inspiration have always been Grace [Kelly] Audrey Heburn and my grandmother."

"Honestly, I couldn't have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress." she admitted.

The three uploads have amassed more than 1,000,000 likes since their upload in recent hours.

Miranda, who was once married to Orlando Bloom, has been inundated with compliments from the public, with one person writing: "I'm in awe. So stunning, elegant, simply beautiful."

"Every bride has to find her own style," Charlotte reminded Miranda in one particularly memorable episode of Sex and the City.

And never was a truer word said.

While diamanté might be dealbreaker for one bride, it might be the main requirement for another. And while a tiara may be the last thing a newly engaged woman wants to consider, it might be the first port of call for another.

With that in mind, we've taken it upon ourselves to do a little research and we've chosen 8 of the most beautiful bridal tiaras Instagram has to offer.

Playing a part in someone else's wedding is a huge honour and for the most part, bridesmaids will do their utmost in order to ensure the bride has the best experience possible.

There's no denying that there's a certain amount of responsibility that comes along with the role. Planning the hen do, going to fittings, putting on a brave face when you're forced to wear a dress that cuts you off in all the wrong places – it's pretty much a package deal.

However, some brides have been known to take their demands a little too far, leaving their wedding party feeling less like friends and more like professional wedding planners with money to burn.

One unfortunate bridesmaid, who called herself Hayley, recently shared her experience on Mamamia.com.

Hayley started off by saying that she was initially “overjoyed” when her friend Caroline asked her to be a part of her wedding, however, her "joy quickly turned to utter despair" when the bride began to obsess over every tiny insignificant detail – right down to the buttonholes for the groomsmen.

The bridezilla then asked her bridesmaid to complete a excel spreadsheet of cake-maker suggestion, including the pricing, the contact information, flavours and “prestige” level, which she wanted completed later that day.

"Hey Hayley, How's it going?" the first email goes. "I need some cake-maker suggestions by COB [close of business] today please, Jase and I really want to get a wriggle on with this and need the contact details, price brackets, flavours and an idea of how prestigious the vendor is – in a table would be great. Excel is probably best please. Thanks!"

The cheek.

On that particular day, Hayley had been quite busy with work so was unable to complete the list until the following morning. She sent her suggesting to Caroline, apologising for her delay, but the bride wasn't going to let that slide.

“On Saturday morning, I cancelled my breakfast plans, instead researching Tasmanian wedding-cake makers (she'd decided to have a picturesque destination wedding) that might be suitable. I sent it through to her and had a reply almost immediately. "Thanks for this, would've been really helpful to have it yesterday when specified, but I appreciate it.""

Meanwhile, the bride had insisted that Hayley and her six other bridesmaids go shopping on three consecutive weekends in order to find the perfect wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses.

Caroline's chosen bridesmaid dresses came in at $550 each (around €370) – pocket change when compared to the price of the bridal gown.

She selected a gorgeous designer dress priced at $10,500 (around €7,124), and despite that fact it was twice her budget, the bridesmaids encouraged the bride to “totally splurge” on her big day.

She took their advice and bought the dress, only to later ask that they “pitch in” for her “dream dress.”

How could someone even begin to justify this bizarre request? Well, the bride thought the dress would be a sentimental treasure all the bridesmaids would have a part in if they paid for it.

No, really.

"That night, my inbox pinged again with another of the group emails from Caroline that I'd started to dread," Hayley recalls. "The subject line was "Bridesmaid dress contribution" and it made me break out into a cold sweat. The latest bridal update was a long email outlining how she and Jase were hugely over their bridal budget now that she'd splurged on the dress. That it was 'totally fine if you can't' but she would really love if we could 'pitch in' around AU$150 (£89) each towards her 'dream dress'. That it'd mean so very much to her and would mean that as she walked down the aisle, she'd be wearing something we'd all had a part in."

Hayley went on to explain how she was shocked and outraged by the request, but three of the seven bridesmaids had already agreed to contribute.

Not Hayley though, she's sticking to her guns, saying she may "have to bail on this wedding – and friendship", and to be honest, we wouldn't blame her.

So, if you've ever planned, been involved in or even just attended a wedding, you'll know all about the pressure and stress the day can bring.

It's not really a matter of if something will go wrong, it's a matter of when and how many times, until you eventually succumb to the fact that not everything will be perfect and it doesn't have to be.

Well, that's if the wedding even happens.

One American bridesmaid has taken to Twitter to share a dramatic tale of the wedding that never was, and oh boy are you in for a treat.

For the vast majority of us, being asked to be bridesmaid is a major milestone in any friendship. And providing your BFF doesn't morph into a classic Bridezilla, the experience is a genuinely lovely one.

However, there exists one particular task which leaves many bridesmaids feeling more than a little panicked, and that's the Hen, or more specifically, the organisation of the Hen.

With Hens getting bigger and more extravagant with every passing year, it's no surprise many of us feel the pressure to lay on a serious celebration in honour of our soon-to-be married pal.

But what do you need to consider to ensure the celebration goes off without a hitch? We take a look…

1. The bride's taste

With most capital city awash with inflatable dolls and L-Plates on a Saturday night, it's no surprise that Hens have  a reputation for being… well.. samey.

But it's highly unlikely every bride-to-be feels the need to don a sash and shift an inflatable man, so don't fall into the trap of ticking those boxes because you feel you have to.

If your friend is a real outdoorsy girl, she may well appreciate an adventure activity over a mani/pedi appointment, while a music-lover may well prefer a sweaty gig over a Prosecco-fuelled lunch, so don't pigeonhole her just because it might make it easier for you to plan.

Every bride has their own style. and that extends to her Hen, and while it's a given that many Hens want an element of surprise, there is no harm asking her to rule out certain activities or events if you feel it will add to her day and alleviate your anxiety.

2. The gang's budget

Money can become a massive bone of contention when talk turns to Hen and wedding celebrations.

Not everyone earns the same or owes the same, so while some of the group may have very hefty disposable incomes, others may be pinching every penny in order to make ends meet.

Now, there is no doubt that most people are more than willing to go the extra mile for a friend on her Hen, it's important as chief organiser that you take people's financial concerns into account.

Allow the invitees to contribute to the idea sheet and encourage the circulation of money-off deals if suitable, because nobody wants their Hen soured with ill will due to one person's insistence that 10 bottle of Champagne is an absolute necessity.

3. The Wow factor

Every Hen night warrants a Wow factor, and this can range from the sentimental to extravagant, but either way it's a must.

Whether it comes in the form of a gift or a venue, the bride-to-be should have at least one stand-out memory from her celebrations that momentarily took her breath away.

If it's a gift you're considering, a photo book which documents her favourite experiences with friends and the journey she has gone on with her future husband will always go down well.

If you want the venue to stand out, why not opt for a one-of-a-kind venue like Dublin's Number 22? From cabaret and cocktails to cafe culture and character, this is the type of venue that has a presence all of its own, and will go a long way towards ensuring an unforgettable night for your woman of the hour.

He then deleted another tweet which said, "I'll miss you brotha (sic)."

Many have replied to Drake's tweet, saying they can't believe he wasn't invited.

Diamonds are a girl's best friend, right? Traditionally, most women go for a gold ring with a clear white diamond setting as an engagement ring.

But things have changed – women want a ring that reflects their style and personality. Listen, if it's going to sparkle on your finger for life, it better suit you

One trend that looks like it is here to stay is the black diamond; and we are HERE for it!

Black diamond are perfect for the quirky bride who wants to give her rock an edge, and make the diamond pop.

It also has an antique-like vibe to it, which is incredibly sophisticated and elegant.

Sylvia Billone’s engagement ring has been saved a whopping 103,900 times on Pinterest, making it the most popular rock on the site.

According to the Daily Mail, the stunning solitaire ring is 1.22 karats with a two-millimetre rose gold band and was made custom for the bride.

Silvia did not reveal the cost of her exquisite ring, but we can pretty much guarantee that it was not cheap (shocking).

However, she is definitely on trend, with Pinterest's 2017 wedding report citing rose and pink shades as this years hottest wedding theme.

This news also comes a few months after Pinterest revealed the most popular bridesmaid dress on the site, which was a simple rose-coloured floor length gown.

The floor-length dress comes complete with a lace illusion neckline, crisscross pleated bodice, chiffon skirt and a centre back zip – and has been pinned over 170,000 times.

The world's most coveted bridesmaid dress is priced at a surprisingly reasonable £120 – glorious news, right?
