When Alex Pelling and Lisa Gant got together in 2008, they never realised what life had in store for them.

When they decided to get married the couple couldn’t choose the perfect setting for their very special day.

In the end, they realised that the only way to choose was to travel the world and have an unofficial wedding ceremony in every country they visited.  They have recorded their three-year journey in their blog 2 people 1 life.

The couple are currently travelling across the globe in Peggy, their 27-year-old camper van and have exchanged vows in some if the most unlikely of places. They had an Ancient Mayan wedding ceremony in Mexico, a traditional Andean wedding in Peru and a topless Embera tribe wedding in Panama.

At the end of their journey, both Lisa and Alex will pick a place to officially tie the knot. However, their journey is not over yet and they plan on visiting a few other countries before reaching Australia.

Even after 624 days of driving around in a little van, Lisa still gushes: “I am deeply in love with my husband to be!”

When this bride and groom got married, they decided they wanted their wedding to be a little different.

The couple tied the knot last week inside SeaWorld Orlando’s Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. With conditions below freezing, it’s not surprising that the pair sported snow boots for the occasion.

While it might be a very unusual way to celebrate your big day, there is a reason behind the whole thing.

The couple are both explorers and they actually met in Antarctica back in 2012. See, now it’s starting to make sense.

Grieve said: “Antarctica is such a beautiful and intense environment. When you experience that with someone, the bond you create is rare. Having our wedding here at SeaWorld in this realm that so perfectly captures the essence of the continent brought me right back to the day Jeff and I met.”

Fans of nerdy comedy The Big Bang Theory will be familiar with loveable blonde, Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny on the popular show.

If you follow her on Instagram, you would have been among her 440,103 followers to be treated to snaps of her wedding yesterday.

It seems Kaley decided to shun the traditional white wedding dress and instead followed in the steps of Mrs Timberlake by wearing a beautiful pink gown, made by Vera Wang.

It looked like such a fun wedding and seemed to be much more relaxed than your typical Hollywood affair.

We would have loved to be there, but obviously our invitation was lost in the post…
