Interior design changes and evolves with each passing decade – but which decades did it worst?

1. Victorian
So grand and vast, the rooms were huge, the colours rich and everything looks like it can’t be touched. Not that it isn’t pretty or impressive, but it’s not very practical these days is it?

2. 1970’s
The mustards, the browny-oranges, the weird shapes that took over everything? No, no and no.

3. Contemporary/2010’s
White and minimal. Where does all our stuff go? Homes look more like hospitals these days!
